Abstract

This study examines the influence of the synectic learning model on the ability to write poetry of elementary school students. Although writing poetry is recognized as important for improving language skills and creativity, many learners face challenges such as starting to write, choosing the right diction, and staying motivated. To address this problem, this study applies a synectic model that encourages creativity through analogical thinking. Conducted in an elementary school with 58 participants, this quantitative study used SPSS version 25 for data analysis, including validity and reliability tests, as well as classical assumption tests. This study is quantitative research with data collection techniques using questionnaires. Hypothesis testing is carried out by t-test (Partial Test). The results showed that the synectic model significantly improved the ability to write poetry with a t-count value of 4.512 (p < 0.05). This suggests that the synectic model has a positive influence on poetry writing ability, suggesting that creative learning approaches can effectively improve students' writing skills and creativity

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between self-efficacy and mathematical disposition to students' mathematical reasoning ability. The research method used is a quantitative research method. The sample of this study is 65 students, who were selected using a simple random sampling technique. The data collection technique is using a questionnaire. The data analysis used included normality test, multicollinearity test and heteroscedasticity test followed by associative hypothesis test and multiple linear regression. The results in the study showed that there was no multicollinearity and heteroscedasticity in the data. In the results of the associative hypothesis test, the variables of self-efficacy and mathematical disposition influenced the variable of mathematical reasoning ability by 78.10 percent. The influence of self-efficacy and mathematical disposition itself has a positive influence on the mathematical reasoning ability of students in elementary school

Abstract

This study aims to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of interactive educational games in learning inheritance calculation material in Islamic Religious Education subjects using the Scratch platform. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model. Game development involves the integration of learning content, gamification elements, and adaptive systems. Validation was carried out by media and material experts, while the trial involved 60 high school students. The results showed a very high level of feasibility from media experts (96%) and material experts (97%). The trial on students showed a significant increase in material comprehension (p < 0.001) and learning motivation. Educational games have proven to be effective in improving students' knowledge transfer skills, long-term retention, and critical thinking skills. Qualitative analysis revealed a positive impact on the social-emotional aspects of learning. This research makes a significant contribution to the development of innovative learning media for complex materials in Islamic Religious Education and opens opportunities for further research in the integration of game technology in religious education

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the supervision of the computer laboratory at MAN 2 Palembang. In this study, the researcher used a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. The research informants included the Head of the Computer Laboratory, the Principal, and the Vice Principal for Facilities and Infrastructure. The data collection techniques used in data analysis were data reduction, data presentation, data verification, and conclusion drawing. The validity test of the research data employed source triangulation and technique triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the supervision of the computer laboratory at MAN 2 Palembang has been well implemented. The findings can be observed through the planning of computer laboratory supervision conducted by the principal in establishing the management of the computer laboratory organization, followed by the implementation of policies to ensure the efficient use of technology by setting rules and regulations for the computer laboratory, and finally, reporting and follow-up actions through routine inspections, problem documentation, and reporting to relevant parties regarding computer laboratory activities. The challenges in supervising the computer laboratory include a lack of awareness among users regarding the rules of the computer laboratory. Efforts to address these challenges include reprimanding teachers who do not directly supervise practical activities during the learning process, enforcing computer laboratory rules, using CCTV, and maintaining ongoing supervision.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the results found in the field that there are students who still have difficulty in understanding the sentences in the narrative text, especially when there are commands to connect or replace simple past and simple present tense verbs. Then during the teaching and learning process, the teacher still uses media that is not varied. So it takes media that can make students interested in participating in learning in class and one of them uses educational games. This study aims to produce educational games in English Class X subjects that are valid and practical using the type of Research and Development (R&D) research, the 4D development model consisting of define, design, development, and disseminate. At the validity test stage, it was carried out with 2 stages of validation, namely material validity, and media validity, while at the product trial stage it was carried out on 34 class X students at MAN 1 Padang City with the aim of knowing the practicality of the product developed. The results of the research conducted explained that the product developed was “Very Valid”, then the results of material validation were declared “Very Feasible”. While the results of practicality from students were declared “Very Practical”, thus this Eng-Joy educational game is practical and feasible to use in the learning process in Grade X English Subjects
