Abstract

This study aims to measure the effectiveness of AI Gemini-based learning in improving the photography skills of students at SMKNegeri 3 Kuningan. The research method used was a quantitative approach with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample consisted of 36 students of grade X DKV selected using purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through pretest, posttest, questionnaires, and observations, and analyzed using SPSS version 27. The results showed that the average pretest score of 25.75 increased to 33.75 in the posttest, with a mean difference of 8 points. The Paired Sample t-Test indicated a significant difference before and after the treatment (t = −60.083; p = 0.000 < 0.05). Correlation analysis revealed a very strong relationship between the effectiveness of AI Gemini and photography skills (r = 0.937; p = 0.000). Furthermore, simple linear regression analysis produced the equation Y = 5.767 + 1.021X with a coefficient of determination R² = 0.878, meaning that AI Geminibased learning contributes 87.8% to students’ photography skills. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of AI Gemini-based learning is effective in enhancing students’ photography skills, particularly in understanding the exposure triangle, image composition, and lighting techniques.

Abstract

Distance learning during the COVID-19 pandemic presents major challenges, one of which is low student engagement in the online learning process. The Visual Classroom application is offered as a solution by providing interactive features and attractive visual media to increase student participation. This study aims to analyze the effect of using the Visual Classroom application on student participation in distance learning at SMK Auto Matsuda. The research method used is quantitative with a descriptive design and simple linear regression analysis. The research sample consists of 23 students who actively use the application. Data was collected through questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. The results showed that the use of Visual Classroom had a significant effect on increasing student participation, with an F test value of 6.004 (p < 0.05) and a t value of 2.450 (p < 0.05). Student responses were also positive, with an average score of 72.43 in the good category. These findings confirm that Visual Classroom is effective in increasing student engagement in distance learning. This study recommends optimizing the interactive features of the application and improving teacher competence to maximize its use.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership, work culture, and work motivation on the performance of village officials with Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) as an intervening variable in X Koto Diatas Subdistrict, Solok Regency. The study used a quantitative method with SEM-PLS analysis and involved 100 village officials as respondents. The results showed that leadership and work culture had a positive but insignificant effect on OCB, while work motivation had a positive and significant effect. Leadership has a positive but insignificant effect on performance, while work culture and work motivation have a positive and significant effect. OCB is proven not to mediate the effect of leadership and work culture on performance, but is able to mediate the effect of work motivation. In addition, OCB has a positive and significant effect on performance. These findings confirm that work motivation has the most dominant effect in improving the performance of nagari officials.

Abstract

Learning Arabic in early childhood often faces challenges, particularly in introducing vocabulary that is considered difficult and monotonous. Therefore, a joyful learning approach that aligns with children’s developmental characteristics is required. This study aims to describe the implementation of the Fun Learning Arabic method in introducing and developing Arabic vocabulary at TK Al-Khairat.This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. The research subjects consisted of one classroom teacher and children in group B. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed thematically. The findings indicate that the implementation of Fun Learning Arabic through educational games, songs, flashcards, and simple motor activities successfully enhanced children’s engagement in learning and enriched their Arabic vocabulary. The children appeared more enthusiastic, active, and able to retain vocabulary effectively. The implication of this study highlights the importance of innovation in early childhood education, particularly for teachers in adopting methods that are consistent with children’s characteristics. Furthermore, teacher training is essential in developing fun learning strategies to ensure that Arabic language learning becomes more effective and meaningful.

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of network quality on IndiHome customer satisfaction in Pancung Soal District with trust as an intervening variable. This quantitative study used a purposive sampling technique to select 50 respondents with specific criteria, namely a minimum membership period of 6 months, to ensure that the selected sample had sufficient experience in using the service. Data collected through a Likert scale questionnaire were analyzed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The results of the study indicate that: (1) Network quality has a direct positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction; (2) Network quality also has a positive and significant effect on trust; however (3) Trust does not have a significant effect on customer satisfaction and (4) Trust does not act as an intervening variable that mediates the relationship between network quality and satisfaction. These findings indicate that customer satisfaction is more directly determined by the technical performance of the network than by the trust factor. The practical implications of this study suggest that PT Telkom should prioritize improving network quality directly to increase customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of implementing the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model on learning outcomes in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) on the subject of Magnetism in grade V at SDN Kuta Pasie with a total of 23 students. The study used a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach conducted in two cycles. Data were collected through learning outcome tests in the form of pre-tests and post-tests, supplemented by observations of student activities and documentation of the learning process. Data analysis was conducted quantitatively by comparing pre-test and post-test scores using a paired t-test and calculating Cohen's d effect size to determine the strength of the effect. The results of the study show an increase in the average score from 38.3 on the pretest to 76.5 on the posttest, with an average difference of 38.3 points. Learning completeness increased from 1 student (4.3%) to 12 students (52.2%). The paired t-test produced a t-value of 7.190 with a Cohen's d effect size of 1.499, which is classified as large. These findings indicate that the application of the PBL model is effective in improving students' understanding of magnetic concepts while also encouraging an increase in learning completeness.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the teaching and learning of speaking skills at the Ulil Albaab Islamic Boarding School in the 2023/2024 academic year, with an emphasis on the reasons for and practices of its implementation. This study uses a qualitative case study approach with data collection through observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and document analysis. The results show that speaking skills learning is dominated by a communicative approach that utilizes group discussion, presentation, and simulation strategies to encourage the use of language in real contexts. This approach is capable of creating an interactive learning atmosphere, despite facing challenges such as limited resources, varying levels of student confidence, and limited vocabulary mastery. Nevertheless, the integration of practice-based methods continues to play an important role in improving students' speaking skills. These findings have implications for the development of strategies for teaching speaking skills in Islamic boarding schools and similar educational institutions.
