Abstract

The Nigeria Agriculture Promotion Policy (APP) aimed to enhance agricultural productivity and increase the income of actors along the agriculture value chain. Its four priority goals are to create employment, increase foreign exchange earnings, achieve economic diversification, and achieve food security. This study assesses the contributions of the Agriculture Promotion Policy (APP) to the income and technical competencies of small-scale palm oil processors/millers in Edo State. Employing a mixed-methods approach, fifty-five (55) palm oil processors from eleven (11) local government areas across three (3) senatorial districts of Edo State were surveyed. Quantitative data were gathered through questionnaires and subjected to descriptive statistical analysis. Concurrently, qualitative data were gathered via key informant interviews and analysed using thematic analysis. Results indicate that the APP was effective in bolstering technology adoption and yield/output performance for palm oil processors/millers. Notably, the income of processors/millers increased by 40.1%, ascending from N1,510,464.80 in 2015 (pre-APP) to N2,115,988.92 in 2021 (after APP implementation). However, certain limitations surfaced reflective of inadequate access to loans for procuring advanced palm oil production machinery. To optimize the policy's impact, it is recommended that the government introduce regular training programs for processors/millers and facilitate their access to loans for acquiring efficient palm oil processing equipment. These findings hold significant implications for Nigerian agricultural policy development. While the APP has substantiated its efficacy in boosting small-scale palm oil productivity, addressing the identified policy limitations is imperative for maximizing its overarching goals.

The research location was carried out at the Peradong Food Expenditure Perennial Crops Collection Center with the sampling technique carried out by the census method. The analysis model used in solving this problem is using income analysis with the equation ???? = ???????? - ????????. From the results of the analysis, it was found that the net income earned by assisted farmers from the cultivation of premium melon farming at the Peradong Food Expenditure Perishable Crops Collection Center was RM 16,058 / MT / farmer.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to provide an effective strategy for improving the economy of coastal families in Serdang Bedagai Regency. Serdang Bedagai Regency has great potential in coastal natural resources, but many coastal families still face economic constraints with monthly incomes below 2.5 million rupiah. Many of them even have to work outside the area to meet their daily needs. An ecopreneurship-based economic improvement strategy is a relevant solution to overcome this challenge. This includes education, training and development of sustainable, ecologically based businesses. Collaboration with related agencies, non-governmental organizations, NGOs and educational institutions is also needed to support the implementation of this strategy. Through this ecopreneurship approach, it is hoped that coastal families in Serdang Bedagai Regency can increase their income while preserving natural resources that are important for their lives and those of future generations, as well as encouraging sustainable economic growth in the region.

Abstract

The development of Sharia banking is currently getting better, motivating people to use the Entity's products. Both Murabahah, Zakat, Sharia Insurance, Musyarakah. Transactions in this entity must be supported by a good accounting information system which will influence the resulting financial reports. This research discusses the implementation of accounting information systems in Sharia Banking. The research method uses a systematic literature review. The data collection method is by searching for articles, letters in the form of research journals related to Accounting Information Systems in their application to sharia banking, then pouring them into a theoretical framework. The research results found that the accounting information system in sharia banking is designed to comply with sharia principles such as the prohibition of interest, prohibition of speculation and fairness in the risks faced both in terms of profits and losses experienced. Accounting information systems in sharia banking include muamalah, murabahah, mudarabah, musharakah transactions, and others. The accounting information system produces financial reports that comply with sharia financial reporting standards. In addition, the accounting information system supports the audit process and sharia supervision to ensure compliance with sharia principles. In general, it can be concluded that the accounting information system in sharia banking plays an important role in improving the performance of sharia banking which is related to the use of sharia information technology, fulfilling government and competitor regulations, as well as meeting human resource needs. The accounting information system makes it possible for sharia banking to make various financial and accounting processes easier. Implementing AIS will reduce dependence on manual processes, which tend to be slower and error-prone.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of giving Biohayati fertilizer, giving Rhizobium bacteria and also the interaction of giving Biohayati fertilizer on soybean production. This research was carried out in Laut Tador Village, Batu Bara Regency, North Sumatra Province. At an altitude of ± 12 meters above sea level with flat topography. This research used a factorial RAK (randomized group design) with 2 treatment factors. The first factor is the provision of Bio-Biological Fertilizer, which consists of four levels, namely: B0 = No treatment, B1 = Bio-biotic solution with a dose of 18 ml/liter of water, B2 = Bio-biological solution with a dose of 20 ml/liter of water, B3 = Bio-biological solution with a dose of 22 ml/liter of water. The second factor is that the administration of Rhizobium bacteria is carried out at three levels, namely: R0 = no treatment, R1 = Rhizobium at a dose of 1.6 kg/plot (seeds mixed with Rhizobium solution), R2 = Rhizobium at a dose of 1.8 kg/plot (Rhizobium is watered in land). The results of the research show that the effect of providing Biohayati has a significant effect on soybean plant production, namely the number of pods and filled pods. The effect of giving Rhizobium bacteria has a significant effect on soybean plant production, namely the number of pods and filled pods. The interaction effect of giving Biohayati and Rhizobium bacteria on soybean production did not have a significant effect. Providing a biological solution at a dose of 22 ml/liter of water and Rhizobium at a dose of 1.6 kg/production plot to soybean plants is the best dose.
