Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of brand image, brand trust, product quality and product innovation on consumer satisfaction mediated by purchasing decisions for Wardah cosmetics in Serdang Bedagai. The effect that we want to know in this study is the direct and indirect effect. This type of research is explanatory research which explains the influence between variables in this study through hypothesis testing. The sample in this study were 96 respondents. The sampling technique used is accidental sampling. Data collection techniques by giving questionnaires to respondents. Statistical tests and data processing were carried out using Partial Least Square (SmartPLS 3.0). The results of this study are: Brand Image, Brand Trust, Product Quality have a significant effect on Purchase Decisions; and Product Innovation has no effect on Purchase Decisions; Purchase Decision has a significant effect on Consumer Satisfaction; Brand Trust and Product Quality have a significant effect on Consumer Satisfaction while Brand Image and Product Innovation have no effect on Consumer Satisfaction; There is a significant effect between Brand Image, Brand Trust, Product Quality on Consumer Satisfaction mediated by Purchase Decisions and there is no influence between Product Innovation on Consumer Satisfaction mediated by Purchase Decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of service quality. servicescape and word of mouth on the decision to use JNE expedition services in Tebing Tinggi City with trust as an intervening variable. The effect that we want to know is the direct or indirect effect. The research method used is a quantitative method using the help of software smart pls 3.0. this type of research is explanatory research that explains the causal relationship between variables through hypothesis testing. This study used a sample of 96 respondents. Sampling using probability sampling technique. From the results of the direct influence test. it can be concluded that service quality (X1) and word of mouth (X3) have a significant effect on trust (Z). while servicescape (X2) has no significant effect on trust (Z). Service quality (X1) and trust (Z) have a significant effect on usage decisions (Y). while servicescape (X2) and word of mouth (X3) have no significant influence on usage decisions (Y). The indirect test results show that the quality of service (X1) and word of mouth (X3) affect the decision to use (Y) which is mediated by trust (Z). while the servicescape (X2) has no effect on the decision to use (Y) which is mediated by trust (Z).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of smartphone use on social interaction in Management Study Program students at STIE Bina Karya, Tebing Tinggi City. The population of this study were 253 students in the third semester of the Management Study Program at STIE Bina Karya, Tebing Tinggi City. After calculating using the Slovin formula, the number of samples obtained is 72 respondents (with e = 10%). The data collection technique used was a questionnaire given to research respondents. The data analysis used in this study is a simple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS for windows software. The results showed that there was no significant influence between the use of smartphones on social interaction among third semester students of the Management Study Program at STIE Bina Karya, Tebing Tinggi City. This means that no matter how long students use smartphones, it will not affect their social interactions with other people. The level of influence of smartphone use with social interaction among students in this study was very small, namely 3.2%. This is because social interaction is not only influenced by dependence on smartphone use, one of which can be influenced by community environmental factors.

Abstract

The ratio of entrepreneurs in Firdaus village, Sei Rampah District, Serdang Bedagai Regency, is considered very low. This low ratio is attributed to the community's low interest in entrepreneurship. Most of the community believes that entrepreneurship requires a large amount of capital. Additionally, there are risks that may occur, such as losses and uncertainty regarding income. Therefore, a community service activity in the form of socialization was conducted for the people of Firdaus village. This socialization activity aimed to provide entrepreneurship education to the community in Firdaus village, thus fostering interest in entrepreneurship. The socialization activity was attended by 22 participants. The methods used in this community service activity were lectures and interactive discussions. The stages of the community service activities included the preparation stage and the implementation stage. This activity had a positive impact on increasing the knowledge of the participants regarding the entrepreneurial skills that an entrepreneur must master, as well as the importance of marketing strategies and the use of technology in the success of a business. Several participants expressed interest in entrepreneurship after participating in the community service activity. This indicates that the community service activity has made a positive contribution to the people of Firdaus village.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the work environment, leadership and compensation on employee job satisfaction at PT. Sumber Palm Makmur. The research method used is a quantitative method using SPSS version 25.00 which was collected from the results of distributing questionnaires to employees at PT. Sumber Palm Makmur. The analytical method used in this research is using instrument tests, namely validity and reliability tests. Classic assumption tests are normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, multiple linear regression analysis, analysis of the coefficient of determination (R2), hypothesis tests namely T test and F test. The results of SPSS in this research are that the work environment influences job satisfaction, leadership influences on job satisfaction, compensation has no effect on job satisfaction, work environment, leadership, and compensation have a simultaneous effect on job satisfaction.

Abstract

The MSME actors in Sei Rampah Village lack adequate understanding of financial management principles. Moreover, they face challenges in accessing business financing sources. This prompted the service team to conduct a community service activity in the village. The activity was organized in the form of a socialization program aimed at improving business owners' understanding of managing business finances and strategies for accessing financing sources. The program was attended by 20 participants. The methods employed in this activity were lectures and interactive discussions. The stages of the community service included the preparation phase and the implementation phase. This activity had a positive impact on the MSME actors in the village. Their knowledge of financial management and access to financing sources increased. The MSME actors stated that they now understand how to manage business finances and strategies to access financing sources. This indicates that the community service activity carried out has made a positive contribution to business owners in Sei Rampah Village..

Abstract

The development of the need for product delivery services as a necessary facility, even in modern times, many people open online businesses by sending products from one area to a different area. This study aims to determine the effect of Trust and Service Quality on customer satisfaction at Lion Parcel in Tebing Tinggi City. This type of research is quantitative. This study used a sample of 50 respondents. Sampling using incidental sampling technique. The test tools used are validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple regression analysis, hypothesis testing via t-test, f-test and the coefficient of determination. The test was carried out using SPSS version 25. The results showed that hypothesis 1 tcount (1.031) < ttable (2.0106), as well as a significance value of 0.308 > 0.05 Trust has no significant effect on customer satisfaction. it can be seen that tcount (6.129) > ttable (2.0106), and a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, it can be concluded that hypothesis 2 is accepted, Service Quality has a significant effect on Customer Satisfaction. it can be seen that the variables of Trust and Customer Satisfaction have a significant effect on Customer Satisfaction. It can be seen that Fcount 20.467 > Ftable 2.72, and a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, it can be concluded that hypothesis 3 is accepted, Trust, Service Quality have a joint effect on Customer Satisfaction.

Abstract

MSME actors in Sei Rejo Village face infrastructure limitations, low access to digital training, and a lack of guidance, which result in inadequate levels of digital literacy. These challenges prompted the service team to carry out a community engagement activity for MSMEs in Sei Rejo Village, Sei Rampah Sub-district, Serdang Bedagai Regency, to promote awareness of digital literacy and data security. The activity was conducted in the form of a socialization session aimed at improving entrepreneurs’ understanding of the importance of digital literacy and data protection. The session was attended by 20 participants. This community engagement was implemented using a participatory approach through socialization, training, and mentoring methods. The stages of the activity included preparation, implementation, and assistance. This initiative had a positive impact on MSME actors in Sei Rejo Village. The training not only provided conceptual understanding but also practical skills, such as the use of social media for promotion, utilization of cashier applications and digital wallets, and techniques for personal data protection. It also broadened participants' insights on the importance of building consumer trust through secure and professional information management.

Abstract

The development of digital technology and the availability of business capital are two key factors in increasing the income of MSMEs. This research aims to determine the influence of digital marketing and business capital on the income of MSMEs in Bandar Tengah Village, Bandar Khalifah District. The approach used is quantitative, with primary data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires and secondary data derived from relevant literature. The number of respondents was 35 MSME actors using a total sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) version 3.0 method. The research results indicate that digital marketing has a substantial impact on the income of MSMEs. Apart from that, business capital has also been proven to have a significant effect on income. These findings confirm that both digital marketing and individual business capital have an important role in increasing MSME income. Therefore, support in the form of digital training and easy access to capital is essential to encourage sustainable business growth.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how Celebrity Endorser and Brand Image influences Focallure Product Purchasing Decisions with trust as an intervening variable. The influences you want to know are direct and indirect influences. This type of research is quantitative research which describes the location of the variables studied and the influence of one variable on other variables. The population of this study was taken from community of Jl. Kancil village 1 Sei Rampah, specifically women. The sample taken was 92 respondents using the Slovin formula with the Accidental Sampling technique. The data analysis method uses PLS-based SEM, analyzed using outer models, inner models, and hypothesis testing using bootstrapping. The results of this research show that : Celebrity Endorser influences Purchasing Decisions, Brand Image influence Purchasing Decisions, Celebrity Endorser influences trust, Brand Image influences trust, Trust has no effect on Purchasing Decisions, Celebrity Endorser does not have a significant influences on Purchasing Decisionswith trust as an intervening variable, Brand Image does not have a significant influences on Purchasing Decisionswith trust as an intervening variable.
