Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work program measurement, apparatus discipline, and leadership style on the performance of village financial management in Aceh Province. Effective and accountable village financial management has become a crucial requirement along with the increasing allocation of Village Funds from the central government. However, in practice, various problems are still found related to the planning, implementation, and accountability of village finances. This study uses a quantitative approach with an associative research design. Data were obtained by distributing questionnaires to village officials directly involved in village financial management in Aceh Province. Data analysis techniques used include validity testing, reliability testing, descriptive statistical analysis, and multiple linear regression analysis to examine the influence between research variables. The results show that work program measurement, apparatus discipline, and leadership style have a positive and significant effect on the performance of village financial management. Among these three variables, the village head's leadership style has the most dominant influence. This finding indicates that effective leadership can encourage village officials to work more disciplined and implement work programs optimally. This study provides a theoretical contribution to the development of public administration studies, particularly related to village financial management. Practically, the results of this study are expected to be a basis for village governments and regional governments in formulating policies and strategies to improve the performance of village financial management in Aceh Province.

Abstract

This research aims to calculate the Cost of Goods Manufactured (COGM) for Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) and analyze the components influencing cost variations at the Adolina Plantation, PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional II. The study specifically evaluates the gap between actual production costs and planned budgets to determine operational efficiency. A quantitative comparative method was employed, utilizing variance analysis to compare actual work realization against the Work Plan and Budget (RKAP) for the period 2022–2024. Production costs were categorized into direct costs (harvesting, maintenance, and fertilization) and indirect costs (salaries, administration, and depreciation). The results reveal that the average COGM at Adolina Afdeling IV was IDR 1,586 per kilogram. While total nominal production costs decreased following a reduction in operational area, the unit cost showed a constant upward trend—rising from IDR 1,489 in 2022 to IDR 1,648 in 2024. This increase was primarily driven by a sharper decline in production volume relative to cost reductions. Variance analysis identified favorable conditions in 2022 (5.14%) and 2023 (0.39%), whereas 2024 exhibited an unfavorable variance of -0.001% due to increased labor costs and delayed fertilization schedules caused by extreme weather. Despite fluctuations in production volume and climate-related challenges, the plantation maintained a healthy average profit margin of IDR 1,107 per kilogram. The study concludes that controlled cost management is essential to ensuring operational sustainability and economic value in the face of volatile agricultural productivity.

Abstract

The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 marks a transformative shift toward holistic, experiential, and culturally rooted education in India. It explicitly advocates integrating indigenous and traditional games into school and higher education curricula to foster physical fitness, cognitive growth, social skills, teamwork, cultural identity, and lifelong health and well-being (Para 4.8 on sports-integration). Games such as Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Mallakhamb, Gilli-Danda, Seven Stones, Gatka, Kalaripayattu, and various tribal and regional variants carry profound historical and cultural significance. However, rapid urbanization, digital distractions, and standardized academic priorities have marginalized their inclusion in formal education. This study examines the alignment of indigenous games with NEP 2020's key pillars, including sports-integrated learning, Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS), and multimodal pedagogy. It highlights multifaceted benefits: enhanced motor skills, emotional resilience, environmental awareness, intergenerational bonding, and national unity through cultural preservation. Drawing on policy analysis, case studies of post-NEP initiatives (e.g., NCERT's Khel Yatra textbook series for Classes 6–8 incorporating state-specific games, Odisha's revival of 75 traditional games, and Fit India Movement efforts), and stakeholder perspectives, the paper proposes practical integration models across school stages and higher education. These include teacher training programs, infrastructure enhancements, and context-sensitive assessment frameworks. Findings indicate that indigenous games revitalize cultural heritage while creating inclusive, engaging, and sustainable learning environments. Recommendations emphasize mandatory inclusion policies, community participation, and longitudinal evaluations to assess student outcomes. This approach advances NEP 2020's vision of an education system deeply rooted in Indian heritage, equipping learners to address contemporary challenges effectively.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the dynamics of inclusive development at the provincial/district level in Indonesia by emphasizing the differences in the short-term and long-term influences of its determinants. This study uses panel data and applies the Panel Autoregressive Distributed Lag (Panel ARDL) method. This method was chosen because it is able to accommodate differences in regional characteristics and varying degrees of variable integration. The estimation results show a stable long-term relationship between the democracy index in Indonesia and the explanatory variables, as indicated by the negative and significant error correction term coefficient . In the short term, gender inequality has a negative and significant effect on the democracy index, while economic participation has a positive and significant effect. The long-term results confirm that gender inequality is a structural obstacle to the democracy index, while economic participation is a key driver of increasing sustainable inclusive development at the regional level. Other social variables show relatively weaker effects, both in the short and long term. The findings of this study emphasize the importance of regional development policies oriented towards reducing gender inequality and strengthening economic participation as key strategies for boosting democracy in Indonesia. Methodologically, this study contributes to the literature by applying the ARDL Panel approach to the Indonesian subnational context, thus providing a more comprehensive understanding of the dynamics of inclusive development across regions.

Abstract

This article explains the quality of the hadiths about Sufism in the book Nashaihul Ibad by Sheikh Nawawi al-Bantani, especially those related to maqamat and ahwal. The type of research in this article is qualitative research. Research sources in this article are divided into primary and secondary sources. The primary source is the book Nashaihul Ibad by Sheikh Nawawi al-Bantani. Meanwhile, the analysis method uses the takhrij hadith method. This research found that there are four terms included in the criteria for maqamat and ahwal, namely: repentance, asceticism, patience and makrifat. Of the four terms, there are two hadiths about repentance and one hadith about asceticism, while the other three hadiths have no sanad path or no source found. As for the quality of the hadiths about Sufism, especially about maqamat and ahwal in the book Nashaihul Ibad by Sheikh Nawawi al-Bantani, many of them are of the quality of dha'if (weak), matruk al-Hadith and some even reach the level of maudhu' (fake). This research has implications for the vigilance of Muslims in receiving information regarding the quality of hadith about Sufism in the Nasaihul Ibad book, especially those related to maqamat and ahwal. The author recommends that other researchers conduct research related to the hadiths in the book Nasaihul Ibad with different themes.

Abstract

This research aims to examine how competence, work ethic, and teamwork influence employee performance at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Batam City. A quantitative explanatory approach was applied, involving the entire workforce of the institution as respondents through a census method (n = 80). Data were gathered using a Likert-scale questionnaire (1–5) developed from the dimensions of competence, work ethic, teamwork, and performance. Prior to analysis, the instrument underwent validity and reliability testing, where all items were confirmed valid, and Cronbach’s Alpha values ranged between 0.86 and 0.90, indicating strong internal consistency. The analytical process consisted of descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests (normality, multicollinearity, and heteroskedasticity), and multiple linear regression to evaluate both partial and simultaneous relationships among variables. Descriptive findings revealed that competence (mean = 4.05), work ethic (mean = 4.12), teamwork (mean = 4.18), and performance (mean = 4.08) were categorized as high. Regression analysis demonstrated that competence (β = 0.28; p = 0.002), work ethic (β = 0.31; p = 0.000), and teamwork (β = 0.26; p = 0.004) each exerted a positive and significant influence on performance. Collectively, the three variables had a significant joint effect, with an F-value of 32.45; p = 0.000 and an R² of 0.58, signifying that 58% of employee performance variation was explained by these factors. The results suggest that enhancing employee performance at the Population and Civil Registration Office requires an integrated strategy focused on strengthening competence, cultivating a strong work ethic, and fostering teamwork.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of the recruitment process, employee competence, and the work environment on employee performance at PT Primo Microphone Batam. The research is motivated by the critical role of human resource management in an audio equipment manufacturing company that requires high precision, productivity, and consistent product quality. A quantitative approach with a causal-associative design was employed, using the entire workforce of PT Primo Microphone Batam as the population, all of whom were included as respondents through a saturated sampling technique (n = 100). Data were collected using a structured Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed through validity and reliability testing, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression. The results show that the recruitment process, competence, and work environment each have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, both partially and simultaneously. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 57.1% indicates that these three variables jointly explain 57.1% of the variance in employee performance, while the remaining 42.9% is influenced by other factors outside the model. These findings highlight the importance of implementing competency-based recruitment, strengthening competence development programs, and creating a conducive work environment as key strategies for improving employee performance and enhancing the company’s competitiveness.

Abstract

This study analyzes women's representation and participation in the strategic decision-making structure of the Merah Putih Cooperative in South Buton Regency. Using a descriptive quantitative approach through the Gender Representation Index (IRG), this study found that women's representation in the management structure is still low, namely 4% in the core management, 1% in the chair position, and 0% in the supervisory position, with a total structural representation of 10% of the 560 members. In terms of participation, women's presence in the formation of the cooperative reached 20%, but active participation in discussions (4%), program proposals (2%), and budget determination (3%) indicated limited involvement. Furthermore, no women utilized access to cooperative financing (0%). These findings indicate a gap between formal representation and women's substantive influence in the decision-making process. This study confirms that increasing the number of women in the organizational structure does not automatically result in an equal distribution of power. More inclusive and gender-responsive cooperative governance reforms are needed to achieve meaningful and sustainable participation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of transformational leadership style and work motivation on employee performance at PT Batam Oilfield Supply Services Indonesia. The research adopts a quantitative approach with a causal‑associative design involving a saturated sample of 100 permanent and contract employees. Data were collected using a 5‑point Likert‑scale questionnaire, whose validity was tested with item–total correlation and reliability with Cronbach’s alpha, followed by classical assumption tests and multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that transformational leadership has a positive and significant partial effect on employee performance, and work motivation also has a positive and significant partial effect; motivation demonstrates a relatively stronger standardized coefficient than leadership. Simultaneously, transformational leadership and work motivation significantly influence employee performance with an R² value of 0.590, indicating that both variables jointly explain 59.0% of performance variance, while the remaining 41.0% is affected by other factors not included in the model. These findings confirm all proposed hypotheses and underline the importance of strengthening transformational leadership practices and structured motivation systems as strategic levers for improving employee performance in high‑risk, high‑precision oilfield service operations.
