Abstract

Galam (Melaleuca cajuputi) merupakan jenis tumbuhan di Kalimantan Selatan yang dijual sebagai mata pencaharian utama sebagian kecil masyarakatnya. Saat ini sangat sulit menemukan kayu galam dengan diameter yang besar. Adanya teknologi laminasi, kayu berdiameter kecil tersebut dapat menjadi balok laminasi yang dapat menggantikan kayu galam berdiameter besar tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan mengetahui pengaruh jumlah lapisan terhadap sifat fisika dan mekanika balok laminasi kayu galam yang meliputi kadar air, berat jenis, keteguhan lentur (MOE), keteguhan patah (MOR), dan keteguhan rekat. Perekat yang digunakan ialah perekat PVAc merek Crossbond X4. Pembuatan contoh uji dan pengujian sifat fisika dan mekanika mengacu pada standar ASTM. Analisis data menggunakan analisis data eksploratif (Exploratory Data Analysis – EDA) yang disajikan secara grafis menggunakan box and whisker plot dengan perlakuan yaitu jumlah lapisan dengan ulangan sebanyak 3 kali. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah sifat fisika balok lamina yaitu kadar air balok 5 lapis dan 2 lapis berturut-turut ialah dengan 15.62% dan 19.22%. Berat jenis balok lamina 5 lapis dan 2 lapis berturut-turut ialah 0.54 dan 0.58. Sifat mekanika kayu galam balok yaitu keteguhan lentur (MOE) balok 5 lapis dan 2 lapis berturut-turut ialah 94702.20 kg/cm2 dan 100196.08 kg/cm2. Keteguhan patah (MOR) balok 5 lapis dan 2 lapis berturut-turut ialah 586.92 kg/cm2 dan 493.65 kg/cm2. Keteguhan rekat balok 5 lapis dan 2 lapis berturut-turut ialah 60.04 kg/cm2 dan110.76 kg/cm2.

Abstract

Particle board is one form of artificial board with the basic material of wood particles (sawdust) using auxiliary materials or adhesives, hot and cold pressed to form sheets that have a certain size according to their function and use. Optimally is to utilize wood waste in the form of sawdust into particleboard and the materials used in this study are rubber wood powder. The quality of the particle board for physical properties, namely the moisture content and density, meets the SNI 03-2105-2006 standard with a maximum value of 14% for moisture content, the results obtained are for A1 (12.17%), A2 (12.07%) , A3 (11.47%). And 0.4 to 0.9 for density standards. with the results obtained in treatment A1 (0.45 gr / cm3), A2 (0.42 gr / cm3), A3 (0.47 gr / cm3). The results on the mechanical properties differ from the physical properties, where the results obtained in the MoR fracture firmness test did not meet the standard with a value of 82 kgf / cm2 SNI 03-2105-2006 while the results obtained were far from the standard, namely the A1 treatment (12.95 Kgf / cm2), A2 (17.69 Kgf / cm2), and A3 (23.26 Kgf / cm2) as well as the flexural strength of MoE. This is caused by several factors, namely the sample in the pressing process is not evenly distributed, which affects the results on mechanical properties, and the test on the sample is too long, causing the temperature and humidity in the room to affect the value at the time of the testPapan partikel adalah salah satu bentuk papan buatan yang menggunakan bahan pembantu atau perekat dengan menggunakan partikel kayu (serbuk grgaji) sebagai bahan dasarnya, dan tekan panas dan dingin sesuai fungsi dan tujuanya untuk membentuk papan dengan ukuran tertentu.kekurangan papan serba kayu dan pemanfaatan kayu yang terbaik adalah dengan memanfaatkan serbuk gergaji berupa serpihan kayu menjadi papan partikel bahan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah serbuk kayu karet. Kualitas papan partikel dengan sifat fisik (kadar air dan densitas) memenuhi setandar BSN (2006), dan nilai maksimum 14% untuk kadar air hasil yang di dapatkan untuk A1 (12,17 %) , A2 (12,07 %), A3 (11,47 %). Dan 0,4 sampai 0,9 untuk setandar kerapatan. dengan hasil yang di dapatkan pada perlakuan A1 ( 0,45gr/cm3 ), A2 ( 0,42 gr/cm3), A3 ( 0,47 gr/cm3).Hasil pada sifat mekanis berbeda halnya adengan sifat fisis, dimana hasil yang di dapatkan pada uji keteguhan patah MoR tidak memenuhi setandar dengan nilai 82 kgf/cm2 BSN (2006), sedangkan hasil yang didapatkan jauh dari setandar yaitu pada perlakuan A1 ( 12.95 Kgf/cm2 ), A2( 17.69 Kgf/cm2 ), dan A3( 23.26 Kgf/cm2 ) begitu juga pada keteguhan lentur MoE. Ini disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor yaitu sampel dalam prosesi pengepresan kurang merata sehingga mempengaruhi hasil pada sifat mekanis, dan pengujian pada sempel terlalu lama sehingga menyebabkan suhu dan kelembaban pada ruang mempengaruhi nilai pada saat pengujian

Abstract

Industrial companies certainly have a fundamental goal to increase performance. Concepts that can be used to achieve corporate performance goals are market orientation and product innovation. Market orientation is the behavior of the organization in order to provide the best value to customers by finding customer desires and needs, product innovation is the behavior of the organization as product progress that can bring products one step ahead of competing products. Determination of the object of this research is at PT Sarikaya Sega Banjarbaru South Kalimantan to prove whether market orientation has a significant effect on company performance and whether innovation has a significant effect on company performance. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of market orientation on the performance of PT Sarikaya Sega Utama and analyze the effect of product innovation on the company's performance at PT Sarikaya Sega Utama. The unit of analysis in this study was all of PT Sarikaya Sega Utama's export products. Respondents in this study were company directors, company managers, marketing managers, production managers and financial managers. Hypothesis testing proved that there was no significant effect between market orientation on company performance where the value of t value was 0.822 and p value was 0.412, while the second hypothesis proved that there was no significant effect between product innovation on company performance where the value of t value was 1.009 and p value was 0.314.Keywords: Marketing orientation; Product innovation; Firm Performance

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the distribution pattern of pasak bumi in Forest Areas with Special Purpose, Lambung Mangkurat University, South Kalimantan using mean variance ratio analysis.The research used plot which has five line observation and each line has 10 point observation, respectively.The line has 200 meters in length and 20 meters in width. Determination of the location of the data collection was done purposive sampling the location of the data collection was chosen based on information by the type identifier where there are peg earth plants in the KHDTK ULM South Kalimantan which were the object of the study. Based on observations in the field and using the mean ratio variance of the distribution patterns of the earth's stake in the KHDTK ULM, including the random category. The composition of trees around the location is dominated by madang puspa trees (Schima sp), wangun gunung (Melicope sp), tengkook ayam (Cryptocarya sp) and margatahan (Palaquium dasyphyllum)Keywords : Pasak Bumi; Distribution Patterns; KHDTK

Abstract

Kerangas forest as a forest area with special character is suspected to have potency of medicinal plants. The objectives of this research are i) to obtain vegetation composition in the forest, ii) describe the distribution of medicinal plants based on vegetations levels, iii) identifying medicinal plants species based on local knowledge. The method used is the prited path by way of Purposive Sampling and semi structured interview method. The location of the research is categorized into 2 criteria, namely old secondary forest and young secondary forest. The result showed that the composition of species found were 18 species of vegetation in young secondary forest and 32 types of vegetation in old secondary forest. The highest distribution of medicinal plants in young secondary forest is found at the pole level of 40%. The highest distribution in the old secondary forest is found at the tree level of 20,83%. Identified research location there are 20 species, 10 of which have been used by society as material for treatment. The distribution of medicinal plants in old secondary forest more than the young secondary forest. Keywords: Composition, Potency, Distribution, Medicinal Plants

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Calculate the estimated use of raw materials faced by meranti plywood (Shorea spp.) In 2019, (2) Calculate economical raw material orders, (3) Analyze safety stock, and when reorder point, (4) Determine maximum storage. This research was conducted at PT. Basirih Industrial Banjarmasin, for 3 months. To analyze the data the estimated use of raw materials is done by the EOQ method (Economic Order Quantity). The calculation results revealed that the estimated use of raw materials faced with Meranti plywood film (Shorea spp.) In 2019 amounted to 16,120.20 m3, the number of economic orders in 2019 was 63 times with the purchase of raw materials of 253,9306 m3 for each one order, Rescue supplies needed in 2019 are 95.3552 m3 so that the production process continues smoothly. The re-ordering of raw materials faced by meranti plywood film is carried out if the raw material inventory is reached 308.8676 m3 with a distance of 5 days for 63 orders in 2019, the maximum storage required in 2019 is 349,2858 m3 for support the continuity of the production process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengestimasi biomassa tersimpan diatas permukaan tanah, mengestimasi mengestimasi karbon (C) tersimpan dan Karbondioksida (CO2) terserap di Hutan Desa Sungai Bakar. Manfaat penelitian ini adalah memberikan informasi potensi simpanan C dan serapan CO2 di atas tanah, serta sebagai partisipasi masyarakat hutan desa untuk ikut mengurangi dampak pemanasan global. Metode yang digunakan untuk data tegakan dan nekromassa adalah metode persamaan alometrik sedangkan metode yang digunakan untuk data tumbuhan bawah dan serasah adalah metode destructive. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan biomassa tersimpan di Hutan Desa Sungai Bakar adalah 118,17 ton/ha dengan sumbangan biomassa pada Hutan Tanaman Campuran 59.30 ton/ha, Hutan Lahan Kering Sekunder 45,59 ton/ha dan Padang Rumput 13,28 ton/ha. Total biomassa pada 3 tutupan lahan tersebut adalah biomassa tegakkan sebesar 52,04 ton/ha, biomassa nekromassa berdiri sebesar 28,59 ton/ha, biomassa nekromassa rebah sebesar 20,32 ton/ha, biomassa tumbuhan bawah sebesar 10,70 ton/ha dan biomassa serasah sebesar 6,52 ton/ha. Estimasi potensi C tersimpan di Hutan Desa Sungai Bakar adalah 808.427,36 ton. Sumbangan C pada setiap tutupan lahannya adalah Hutan Tanaman Campuran sebesar 339.754,83 ton/ha, Hutan Lahan Kering Sekunder sebesar 448.961,13 ton/ha dan Padang Rumput hanya sebesar 19.711,41 ton/ha. Estimasi potensi CO2 terserap di Hutan Desa Sungai Bakar adalah 957.644,15 ton dengan sumbangan CO2 terserap pada setiap tutupan lahannya adalah Hutan Tanaman Campuran 409.453,09 ton/ha, Hutan Lahan Kering Sekunder 532.017,03 ton/ha dan Padang Rumput hanya sebesar 16.174,03 ton/ha.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze influence the composition of waste wood powder flamboyant and trembesi wood on the characteristics of biopellet as an alternative fuel. The parameters tested are based on ASTM D 5142-02. Biopellet quality results obtained, compared with Indonesian standards (Indonesian National Standards-SNI), Germany (Deuctsches Institut fur Normug-DIN), France (Institute of Technique Europe do. Bois Energie-ITEBE), Austria (ON Osterreichisches Normungsinstitut-ONORM, United States (Pellet Fuel Institute-PFI). The results of research from waste wood powder flamboyant and trembesi wood showed an average moisture content 6.8900-11.22020%, density 0,6406-0,7767 g/cm3, ash content 0,5000-1,1300%, volatile matter 64,0700-88,9900%, fixed carbon 3,8300-26,707%, and calorific value 4.350.83-4.431,47 cal/g. Moisture content, fixed carbon, ash content and calorific value has fulfilled the requirement of Indonesia, Germany, France, Austria and America, while the density and volatile matter fulfilled the requirement of Indonesian standards only. The best quality biopellets fulfilled the requirement all criteria of the Indonesian standard (Indonesian National Standard-SNI) found in treatment A1 (waste wood powder 100% flamboyant + 0% trembesi). The results of analysis of variance and further tests showed that the treatment of flamboyant and trembesi waste wood powder composition very significant affect the density, ash content, volatile substances, and fix carbon, and significant affect the moisture content, but had no significant affect the calorific valueTujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh komposisi serbuk kayu flamboyan dan kayu trembesi terhadap karakteristik biopelet sebagai bahan bakar alternatif.  Parameter yang diuji berdasarkan ASTM D 5142-02. Hasil kualitas biopelet yang didapat, dibandingkan dengan standar negara Indonesia (Standar Nasional Indonesia- SNI), Jerman (Deuctsches Institut fur Normug- DIN), Prancis (Intitut Technique Eropeen do. Bois Energie- ITEBE), Austria (ON Osterreichisches Normungsinstitut- ONORM), Amerika (Pellet Fuel Institute- PFI). Hasil penelitian dari limbah serbuk kayu flamboyan dan kayu trembesi  menunjukkan nilai rata-rata kadar air 6,8900– 11,2220%, kerapatan 0,6406- 0,7767 g/cm3, kadar abu 0,5000- 1,1300%, zat terbang 64,0700- 88,9900%, karbon terikat 3,8300- 26,707%, dan nilai kalor 4.350,83-4.431,47 kal/g. Kadar air, karbon terikat, kadar abu dan nilai kalor memenuhi standar Indonesia, Jerman, Prancis, Austriadan Amerika, sedangkan untuk kerapatan dan zat terbang hanya memenuhi standar Indonesia. Kualitas pellet kayu terbaik memenuhi semua kriteria standar negara Indonesia (Standar Nasional Indonesia- SNI) terdapat pada perlakuan A1 (serbuk kayu flamboyan 100% + serbuk kayu trembesi 0%). Analisis sidik ragam dan uji lanjutan dari perlakuan perbedaan komposisi serbuk kayu flamboyan dan kayu trembesi sangat berpengaruh nyata terhadap kerapatan, kadar abu, zat terbang, dan karbon terikat, serta berpengaruh nyata pada kadar air, namun tidak berpengaruh nyata pada nilai kalor

Abstract

The study concern to review the institutional capacity of the Community Forestry Farming Group (HKm) in Pelaihari District, Tanah Laut Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach and the object of this research is Harapan Bersama Farmers Group Ujung Batu Village, Karya Jaya Farmers Group, Ambungan Village and Kelurahan Karang Taruna  Karya Usaha Group in Pelaihari District, Tanah Laut Regency. Data was analized bay using the Levis modification formula.This study shows the innovativeness variable 63%, 62.6% sustainability, effectiveness of functions and roles 63%.Based on those three components value, the HKm institutional capacity is categorized as high because HKm can run well supported by institutional capacity, the role of extension agents, outside party support, member characteristics, member capacity, the role of farmer group leaders, dynamic HKm farmer groups and High participation of members on this HKm program.Keywords: Capacity, Institutional, Variable

Abstract

The purpose of this study to analyze the magnitude of erosion, erosion4hazard class and erosion hazard level in some land cover located in the Satui watershed, Tanah Bumbu Regency. The4benefits of this research are expected to be able to provide information to relevant parties regarding the magnitude of the erosion hazard level (TBE), as a consideration in the framework of policy making in land management and utilization in the context of environmental preservation.The method used is descriptive analysis method that is taking existing data. Primary data includes data to determine soil erodibility obtained from the analysis of several physical properties of soil, namely soil structure, texture (content of sand, dust and clay), organic matter content, soil permeability. This data is obtained by taking predetermined soil samples taking into account the types of land cover, slope length and slope. Secondary data includes data about the general description of the location of the study, rainfall data and data on slope length and slope.The results of this study indicate that the amount of erosion that occurs in the Satui watershed has class I to IV and the value of the erosion hazard level starts from mild (I-R) to (III-B).Keywords: erosion; erosion hazard level; Satui watershed
