Abstract

This research investigates the factors influencing the loyalty of Sharia e-money users in Makassar City, Indonesia, amidst the rapid development of digital payment systems, including sharia-based e-money. The study emphasizes the importance of Trust and Interest in driving user loyalty. A quantitative approach with a causal-associative design was adopted, involving 100 randomly selected respondents from a population of 1.5 million. Data were collected through a closed questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) with SmartPLS. The results revealed that both Trust (β = 0.199; p = 0.010) and Interest (β = 0.670; p < 0.001) significantly influenced loyalty, with Interest emerging as the dominant factor. The research model accounted for 69.5% of the variation in loyalty (R² = 0.695), and the instrument met the required validity and reliability criteria. The study concludes that boosting Interest through effective promotion, innovative services, and a strong Sharia image is more influential in fostering loyalty compared to solely focusing on Trust, though both factors remain crucial. This research contributes valuable insights to Sharia e-money service providers and regulators, offering strategic guidance for the development of policies aimed at enhancing user loyalty. Furthermore, it enriches the Sharia digital finance literature, particularly in the context of Makassar, which presents unique market characteristics.

Abstract

This text examines consumer safety in sale and buy transactions through the lenses of financial justice and Sharia ethics, with precise interest in virtual marketplaces. Despite the existence of complete legal frameworks, customer protection law remains in large part procedural and reactive, failing to address structural electricity imbalance, information asymmetry, and unfair preferred contracts that systematically disadvantage clients. Using a socio-criminal studies layout, this observation integrates normative felony evaluation with maqāṣid al-sharīʿah as a great justice benchmark. The findings screen that conventional patron protection mechanisms often legitimize unequal transactions via prioritizing formal consent and contractual validity over fairness outcomes. digital systems in addition exacerbate customer vulnerability through centralizing control over information disclosure and dispute resolution. This newsletter proposes an integrative client protection model that mixes legal enforceability with Sharia-based totally ethical accountability, repositioning purchaser protection law as a preventive and justice-orientated regulatory framework. The take a look at contributes to patron law scholarship by way of demonstrating that Sharia ethics can be characterized as a normative evaluative framework that complements the legitimacy and effectiveness of client protection regulation in digital markets.

Abstract

Electoral logistics represent one of the most risk-prone components of election administration, particularly in large and decentralized democracies. This study aims to examine how electoral logistics were managed under conditions of uncertainty in Indonesia’s 2024 Simultaneous Election, with a specific focus on risk management, coordination, and institutional learning. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using a case study in Jambi City. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with election officials and stakeholders, field observations of logistics distribution, and analysis of electoral regulations and official documents. The findings indicate that although logistics management formally complied with national regulations, risk anticipation remained limited, coordination mechanisms were largely reactive, and institutional learning was weak. Logistical disruptions were addressed through ad hoc solutions rather than systematic risk mitigation strategies. This study concludes that strengthening electoral logistics requires a shift from procedural compliance toward adaptive risk governance and structured learning mechanisms to enhance electoral integrity and administrative resilience.

Abstract

Sharia Savings and Financing Cooperatives (KSPPS) constitute an essential component of Indonesia’s Islamic microfinance sector, providing Sharia-compliant financial services to micro and small economic actors. However, the regulatory framework governing KSPPS remains fragmented and predominantly administrative, offering limited financial supervision and insufficient protection for members’ funds. This regulatory condition creates structural disparities between KSPPS and other Sharia financial institutions and raises concerns regarding institutional stability and public trust. This study examines the legal position of KSPPS within Indonesia’s national legal framework and proposes a regulatory reconstruction aimed at integrating supervision and deposit guarantee mechanisms. Using a qualitative juridical-normative approach combined with institutional analysis and public policy evaluation, the research analyzes statutory regulations, ministerial policies, DSN-MUI fatwas, and existing supervisory practices. Comparative analysis with Islamic banking supervision is employed to identify regulatory gaps and best practices. The findings reveal that KSPPS are legally positioned as general cooperatives, resulting in fragmented oversight between administrative authorities and internal Sharia supervisory bodies that lack prudential and enforcement authority. Furthermore, the absence of a Sharia-based deposit guarantee scheme exposes members to financial risk and contradicts the Sharia objective of wealth protection (ḥifẓ al-māl). To address these challenges, the study proposes an integrated regulatory model that repositions KSPPS as Sharia microfinance institutions subject to risk-based, Sharia-compliant supervision and supported by a Sharia-based deposit guarantee scheme grounded in the principles of tabarru’ and ta‘āwun. This research contributes to Islamic financial regulation scholarship by offering a coherent normative and institutional framework that strengthens legal certainty, consumer protection, and the sustainability of Sharia cooperative finance.

Abstract

Concrete is a widely used construction material whose mechanical performance is strongly influenced by the properties of its constituent materials, particularly coarse aggregates. This study investigates the comparative effect of coarse aggregates sourced from Merak and Batu Gadur on the compressive strength of normal strength concrete. An experimental laboratory-based method was employed using concrete cube specimens measuring 150 mm × 150 mm × 150 mm. Three mixture variations were prepared: concrete with 100% Merak coarse aggregate, concrete with 50% Merak and 50% Batu Gadur coarse aggregate, and concrete with 100% Batu Gadur coarse aggregate. All specimens were cured and tested for compressive strength at 7 and 28 days. The results indicate that concrete containing 100% Merak aggregate exhibited stable and continuous strength development, while the 50% substitution mixture maintained relatively consistent compressive strength across curing ages. In contrast, concrete produced with 100% Batu Gadur aggregate achieved high early-age strength but showed a significant reduction at 28 days. These findings demonstrate that Batu Gadur aggregate can be utilized as a partial replacement for Merak aggregate at proportions not exceeding 50% without compromising concrete performance. This study supports the use of local aggregates to enhance sustainability in construction practices.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the normative potential of fiqh al-Bī’ah and maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah as an Islamic ethical framework for strengthening sustainable green economy development in Muslim societies. Using a qualitative normative-conceptual approach, this research employs systematic literature analysis of classical Islamic jurisprudence, contemporary Islamic economic thought, and recent global sustainability studies. The findings reveal that fiqh al-Bī’ah provides a coherent normative structure through principles such as khalīfah, amānah, mīzān, iṣlāḥ, and lā ḍarar wa lā ḍirār, which are conceptually aligned with key green economy indicators, including ecological balance, resource efficiency, and intergenerational equity. Furthermore, the study demonstrates a strong normative convergence between maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah and sustainable development goals, particularly in safeguarding life, wealth, future generations, and environmental integrity. Importantly, maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah functions as a critical evaluative framework capable of assessing the social justice implications of market-oriented green economy models. This study contributes theoretically by positioning Islamic environmental jurisprudence not merely as moral guidance but as an operational normative foundation for sustainable economic transformation. Practically, the findings offer policy-relevant insights for integrating Islamic ethical values into green economy strategies, Islamic finance, and ESG-based development initiatives. The research concludes that an Islamic value-based green economy represents a viable, inclusive, and ethically grounded pathway for addressing contemporary environmental challenges

Abstract

This study analyzes the legal concept of abuse of authority and examines how innovative and adaptive policy practices are a form of dynamic governance approach model in the implementation of governance in the class IIA Curup correctional institution, Rejang Lebong Regency, Bengkulu. This study is a qualitative research with a literature review approach by analyzing studies related to the dynamic governance bureaucracy model and theories of abuse of authority in several journals that have been published. The results of this study explain that the abuse of authority was born because of the paradigm that considers the concept of abuse of authority cannot be completely separated from the perspective of criminal law, because authority is a core concept in the study of administrative law. This creates a gap for many parties to commit acts of abuse of authority, which in fact administrative law and related criminal laws related to the abuse of authority are complementary instruments and do not need to be opposed. Then, the dynamic governance bureaucracy model that can reduce the space for abuse of authority can be in the form of: 1) Presenting a harmonized understanding of laws and regulations on "Abuse of Authority" as complementary instruments; 2) Preparing comprehensive strategies related to political leadership, harmonization of public policies, and the use of system merits; 3) Flexible decision-making; 4) Thinking across borders by adopting policies that can be internalized in the prison environment; 5) Building an innovation ecosystem in communication; 6) Encourage the birth of policies that are more adaptive with Performance Agreements (PK) and Integrity Pacts 7) Policies with risk management, especially the safety and health of inmates.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze cost efficiency in the upper structure of multi-story buildings through a Value Engineering (VE) approach. The case study focuses on the construction project of the Joint Lecture Building 5 (GKB 5) at Muhammadiyah University Malang. The research focuses on identifying the upper structure components that dominate the costs and developing alternative materials and methods that still fulfill the structural function but are more cost-efficient. The VE process includes the stages of identifying work elements that require cost optimization, evaluating alternative solutions, and selecting the best alternative based on technical and cost considerations. The results of the study show that optimizing the reinforcement of columns, beams, and slabs, as well as changing the formwork system from conventional to semi- system, can produce cost efficiencies of 8–14% without reducing the strength and safety of the structure. These findings confirm that VE can be a strategic tool for decision-making in high- rise building construction projects

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the cross-sector collaborative governance process in the implementation of the Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) in Karangasem Regency. The study focuses on four main aspects of the Ansell and Gash model: starting conditions, institutional design, facilitative leadership, and collaborative process. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The research informants consist of stakeholders from local government, program implementers, and parties involved in the provision and distribution of local food. The findings show that the implementation of the MBG Program in Karangasem Regency is built upon a shared need to address child nutrition problems, poverty, and limited access to nutritious food. However, cross-sector collaboration still faces challenges such as resource imbalances, differences in capacity among actors, and the need to strengthen institutional coordination. Facilitative leadership plays an important role in building trust and shared understanding through dialogue, coordination meetings, and role adjustment among stakeholders. In addition, program sustainability is influenced by supporting factors such as shared commitment, institutional support, and the involvement of local actors, while inhibiting factors include geographical conditions, limited data, and logistical distribution challenges. These findings emphasize that the success of the MBG Program in Karangasem Regency is strongly determined by the quality of collaborative governance that is inclusive, adaptive, and oriented toward program sustainability.
