Abstract

This research discusses the gap between regulations and practices in providing children's rights in the context of divorce. This research aims to identify specifically where there are discrepancies between regulations and practices that occur in the field in efforts to fulfill children's rights after divorce. Apart from that, this research also aims to understand the impact or impact of this gap on the welfare and rights of children after divorce. This includes various risks faced by children who are victims of divorce, both in terms of physical, mental and social welfare. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection through semi-structured interviews and documentation. The research results show that the main problems include uncommitted parents, lack of family support, quality time, negative societal stigma, and children not being given a proper education. Factors causing this gap include economic conditions, responsibility, communication, intervention from other parties, the double burden carried and the low level of parental education. The implications of this exception between regulations and practice alleviate the child's condition. These implications include promiscuity, bad behavior, lack of affection, and also not having a role model in their life, which in the end can hinder a child's development.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to analyze, interpret, identify, and describe the values of Islamic education from a multicultural perspective as embedded in the cultural practices of the Bugis community. Employing a qualitative method with a combined autoethnographic and realist ethnographic approach, the research utilized in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis as the primary data collection techniques. Data were examined through domain, taxonomic, and componential analyses, culminating in the formulation of key cultural values. The findings reveal seven core values within Bugis culture that can be adapted into a multicultural Islamic educational framework: (1) mutual respect and reverence, (2) compassion, (3) constructive admonition, (4) cooperation, (5) mutual protection, (6) recognition of human rights, and (7) cleanliness. The implications of this study suggest that these culturally rooted values can contribute significantly to the development of multicultural Islamic education in Indonesia. this research contributes to the preservation and academic recognition of Bugis cultural heritage by positioning it as a dynamic source of ethical and educational values, thereby bridging local culture with national and global discourses on multicultural and Islamic education.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine: (1) the difference in the effects between static and dynamic core training programs on soccer skills, (2) the difference in soccer skills between athletes with high and low motor performance, and (3) the interaction between training programs and motor performance on soccer skills. This study employed an experimental method with a 2 × 2 factorial design. The population consisted of 27 male players from SSB Watuska Surakarta, with a sample of 24 players selected using purposive sampling and grouped based on the extreme groups design principle. The research instruments included motor performance tests and soccer skill tests, which were standardized using T-scores. Data analysis was conducted using a two-way ANOVA test with a significance level of α = 0.05, followed by pairwise comparison tests. The results showed that: (1) there was no significant difference in the effect between static and dynamic core training programs on soccer skills (p = 0.627 > 0.05), with a small effect size (η² = 0.012); (2) there was a significant difference between players with high and low motor performance (p = 0.023 < 0.05), with a large effect size (η² = 0.234), where the low motor performance group demonstrated substantially greater improvement in soccer skills compared to the high motor performance group; and (3) there was no significant interaction between training program and motor performance level on soccer skills (p = 0.706 > 0.05). The conclusion of this study indicates that the effectiveness of core training is more influenced by the individual’s initial motor performance capacity rather than the type of training method. Core training is highly effective for players with stability deficits (low motor performance), but it must be applied carefully in players with high motor performance to avoid overload, which may lead to increased muscle stiffness and reduced movement elasticity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze pacing strategies, the influence of the start reaction, and performance consistency of male athletes in sprint freestyle swimming events (50m and 100m) at the 2025 SEA Games. The research used a descriptive quantitative approach with a case study design. Secondary data were analyzed from the finals of both events, including final times, reaction times (RT), and split times. Descriptive and comparative statistical analyses were conducted to evaluate pacing patterns, the relationship between RT and final results, and the performance of athletes competing in both events. All athletes in the 100m event applied a positive split pattern, with an average speed decrease of 2.26 seconds in the second half. The start reaction did not significantly correlate with the final time in the 50m (r=0.15; p=0.71) or the 100m (r=0.45; p=0.26). Athletes competing in both events showed high ranking consistency. The age group <20 years tended to have a smaller pacing difference (2.16 seconds) compared to older athletes. Pacing strategies at the regional level are still dominated by the conventional approach (positive split). The main determinant of performance is not the start reaction, but pure swimming speed and technical efficiency.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of Physical Education (PE) in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a particular focus on those related to health, education, and gender equality. Employing a mixed-methods approach, the research commenced with a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) involving three expert Physical Education teachers to identify relevant sub-SDGs supported by PE. Insights from the FGD informed the development of a questionnaire designed to assess students’ perceptions of PE’s contribution to these goals. The survey was distributed to 280 male and 452 female high school students aged 16–18. Findings indicate that both male and female students perceive PE positively in relation to SDG achievement, with average scores of 3.86 for males and 3.84 for females. Statistical analysis using the Mann-Whitney U test revealed no significant gender differences (U = 64920, p = 0.555), indicating that both genders hold similar views regarding the importance of PE in supporting SDGs. The study concludes that PE is instrumental in promoting health, education, and gender equality, thereby contributing to the realization of the SDGs, with only minimal differences in perceptions between male and female students.

Abstract

This study analyzes the implications of club licensing regulations established by the Football Association of Indonesia on the bankruptcy risk of clubs participating in Liga 1 Indonesia, using a legal coaching approach as an instrument of preventive law. Club licensing regulations generally emphasize administrative and financial compliance; however, their effectiveness in mitigating bankruptcy risk remains limited due to the lack of systematic integration of internal legal risk management. This research adopts a normative juridical and conceptual approach, employing a legal model-building technique. The findings indicate that club licensing in Indonesia remains largely verificative in nature and has not yet functioned as a mechanism of risk governance. Accordingly, this article formulates the Sport Corporate Legal Coaching Framework (SCLCF) as an integrative model that combines licensing regulations with an internalized legal risk management system. The primary contribution of this study lies in integrating corporate law into professional sport governance, while also providing a learning framework for club managers, regulators, and academics to develop sustainable and resilient sport governance systems against bankruptcy risk
