Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of digitalization and financial literacy on the sustainable competitive advantage of culinary MSMEs in Pangkalpinang City with local wisdom as a moderation variable. The method used was mixed methods with quantitative dominance through a survey of 50 culinary MSME actors, as well as interviews with the Pangkalpinang City Tourism Office and the Cooperatives, Trade, and MSMEs Office of Bangka Belitung Islands Province. Data analysis was carried out using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). The results showed that digitalization (coefficient 0.472; p<0.05) and financial literacy (coefficient 0.351; p<0.05) had a significant positive effect on sustainable competitive advantage. Local wisdom was also shown to have a positive effect (coefficient 0.249; p<0.05) while moderating the relationship between financial literacy and sustainable competitive advantage positively (coefficient 0.301; p<0.05), but weakening the relationship between digitalization and sustainable competitive advantage (coefficient -0.205; p<0.05). These findings confirm that the integration of digitalization, financial literacy, and local wisdom is an important strategy to strengthen the competitiveness of culinary MSMEs in the archipelago, although the dominance of local culture can slow down the adoption of technology. This research makes a theoretical contribution to the integrative model of creative economy development based on local wisdom and policy recommendations to support the sustainability of MSMEs.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the persistent gap between the ideal values taught in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and student behavior in the school environment. Therefore, a contextual study is needed to examine the meaning of the verses of Surah Luqman and their implementation in secondary education teaching. The purpose of this study is to explore the moral values in Surah Luqman verses 13–19 and examine their implementation in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teaching at the secondary education level. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through literature studies, interviews with PAI teachers, and observations of classroom teaching practices. The results show that core moral values such as monotheism, respect for parents, honesty, responsibility, patience, and humility have been taught by teachers, but their implementation is still predominantly cognitive and lacks contextualization. Teachers tend to deliver material theoretically without directly linking it to students' real-life experiences. This condition results in the process of internalizing morals not being optimal in shaping students' daily behavior. Therefore, Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teaching needs to be directed towards a more applicable, communicative, and contextual approach so that Quranic values can be instilled more effectively. This study recommends developing Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teaching methods that emphasize the active role of teachers as value facilitators, spiritual companions, and moral role models in secondary education settings.

Abstract

Problems that occur in the virtual coordination process as a communication medium have obstacles in reaching elderly educators. The purpose of this study is to uncover and analyze leadership approaches, leadership patterns, leadership achievement results and supporting factors as well as inhibiting factors of leadership patterns in Senior High Schools. The approach used in this study is qualitative with descriptive methods. The results of the study show that; first, the high school principal in his leadership uses a contingency/situational approach. This is because a leader's approach to his subordinates must be based on the situation and conditions he faces; Second, the leadership pattern he uses is a transformational leadership pattern. This can be seen from the leadership vision he developed, the changes felt by educators, education staff, and students, the level of trust given to educators and education staff, and the motivation given is not just material motivation; Third, the results achieved are the achievement of various achievements both intracurricular and extracurricular, and increased discipline, professionalism in the digital era that demands more creativity and innovation from educators and education staff in the digital era; Fourth, the supporting factors are human resources, the environment, and the local community around the school, while the inhibiting factors are problems arising from the leadership of the previous principal.

Abstract

This study generally aims to determine the effect of cooperative learning models of discovery and expository learning on learning motivation and learning outcomes of Indonesian in Elementary Schools. The research method used is experimental research. This study uses a treatment by level 2 x 2 design with the independent variable of cooperative learning and the dependent variable of student learning outcomes in Indonesian material. This experimental study used students in the experimental group and students in the control group. In this study, the samples were class VB and class VC with the consideration that these classes can represent the population. The results of this study are: (1) Overall, there is a significant difference in student learning outcomes between those who participate in learning with the application of cooperative learning models of discovery learning and those who participate in cooperative learning with expository learning models; (2) Overall, there is an effect of cooperative learning interaction on student learning motivation in Indonesian subjects in Elementary Schools; (3) The learning outcomes of students who have high motivation and participate in learning with cooperative learning models of discovery learning are higher than students who participate in learning with cooperative learning models of expository learning; (4) The learning outcomes of students who have low learning motivation and participate in learning with cooperative learning models of discovery learning are higher than students who participate in learning with cooperative learning models of expository learning.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the Multicultural Approach in Islamic Religious Education in Madrasahs. The method used is descriptive qualitative. This research conducts an in-depth review of various sources such as reference books, scientific journal articles, educational policy documents, and relevant research reports. The study results indicate that there are efforts to implement a multicultural approach in madrasahs, which is integrated into various learning activities. The goal of this effort is to foster attitudes of tolerance and respect for diversity, whether in terms of religion, culture, ethnicity, and so on. However, in practice, the implementation is not as easy as it is imagined in theory. There are obstacles, such as the lack of in-depth understanding of the multicultural approach among educators and students. The proposed solution is to implement education and training for educators so that they can master the techniques of conducting lessons with a multicultural approach effectively. Related to this approach, there have been several previous studies examining its implementation in schools with highly heterogeneous students. Unlike this study, which focuses on implementation in madrasahs, where students are generally homogeneous, especially in terms of religion. The findings of this research emphasize the importance of applying a multicultural approach in madrasahs to create a more inclusive and tolerant learning environment.

Abstract

The degradation of student character in today's era of globalization poses a significant challenge for the education sector. Students are not only expected to be academically competent but also to possess strong character, responsibility, independence, and positive social behavior. In this context, transformational leadership is seen as an effective strategic approach to foster a school culture that supports character education. One such program used as a tool for character development is the “7 Habits of Great Indonesian Children Movement,” which contextualizes universal values into Indonesian cultural and religious frameworks. This study aims to explore the implementation of transformational leadership in supporting the 7 Habits program at SMP Negeri 1 Bojongsoang. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study method, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis involving the school principal, teachers, and students. The research focuses on the forms of transformational leadership implementation, its impact on the program, and the supporting and inhibiting factors affecting its execution. The findings reveal that the school principal’s transformational leadership was effective in fostering a positive shift in school culture. Through exemplary behavior, inspirational motivation, teacher empowerment, and systematic supervision, the principal successfully facilitated the internalization of positive habits in students’ daily lives.

Abstract

Changes in the management of educational organizations have become an urgent necessity in response to the increasing complexity of 21st-century challenges, technological advancements, and demands for educational quality. Many schools still implement static and bureaucratic management systems characterized by hierarchical structures, one-way communication, and minimal participation from school stakeholders. Such systems have proven ineffective in responding quickly and efficiently to change. This study aims to examine the transition of school management systems from a static approach to an adaptive and collaborative management model, as well as to analyze the role of school principals as agents of change in this process. The study employs a qualitative approach using a case study method at a Vocational High School (SMK) in West Java Province. The findings indicate that the transition to an adaptive and collaborative management system is achieved through transformational leadership by the principal, which encourages open communication, stakeholder involvement in decision-making, and the development of a collaborative culture. Organizational restructuring toward more flexible models and the use of information technology have also accelerated the adaptation process. Nonetheless, challenges persist in the form of resistance to change, limited resources, and administrative barriers. The study concludes that adaptation- and collaboration-based management can enhance school management effectiveness and strengthen stakeholder participation in building a responsive and innovative organizational culture.

Abstract

The instructional leadership of the principal plays a crucial role in guiding and directing teachers to improve their professional competence in line with the demands of educational development. However, in practice, there are still teachers who have not fully demonstrated optimal abilities in designing and implementing effective learning. The purpose of this study is to analyze how the principal’s instructional leadership functions as both a role model and a trainer. This study employed a qualitative approach using the case study method. Interviews with the principal revealed that various activities have been implemented as part of instructional leadership practices, such as learning supervision, internal training (In-House Training), lesson study, and the dissemination of best practices through learning communities. The principal also actively involves teachers in planning these programs through discussion forums. This involvement strengthens the relevance of the programs to the actual needs of teachers, as they are based on reflections from the previous year’s teacher performance assessments. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that the principal’s instructional leadership at SMP Negeri 1 Bojongsoang has had a positive impact on improving teachers’ professional competence.

Abstract

The digital era has transformed social media platforms into transaction channels, including TikTok Shop which has become a popular e-commerce platform among Generation Z. This study aims to analyze the influence of product reviews and marketing content on TikTok Shop on Skintific purchase decisions among Generation Z in Palangka Raya City. The research used quantitative methods with survey techniques on respondents aged 17-28 years who actively use TikTok and are interested in skincare products. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that product reviews have a positive and significant effect on purchase decisions. Marketing content has a greater and more dominant influence than product reviews. Simultaneously, both variables significantly influence and can explain most of the variation in purchase decisions. The findings show that Generation Z in Palangka Raya City is more influenced by visual and interactive marketing content compared to product reviews in making purchase decisions. This indicates the need to optimize integrated marketing content strategies to improve sales effectiveness on the TikTok Shop platform, particularly in reaching young consumers who have digital native characteristics.

Abstract

The Food Crops and Horticulture Protection Agency of Central Kalimantan Province plays an important role in maintaining the productivity of food crops and horticulture in the in the Central Kalimantan Province. This study aims to determine the influence of career development and work discipline on employee loyalty, with job satisfaction as an intervening variable. The research employs a quantitative-associative approach using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method based on Partial Least Squares (PLS) with the help of Smart Pls 3.0. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire distributed to 38 38 civil servants of the Central Kalimantan BPTPH. The results show that career development and work discipline have a significant and significant impact on employee loyalty. Both variables also increase job satisfaction, which then acts as a link in relation to employee loyalty. These findings emphasize that to increase employee loyalty, the Central Kalimantan BPTPH needs not only to strengthen career development policies and enforce work discipline, but also to prioritize efforts to increase employee job satisfaction, which is a key mechanism in building long-term commitment and loyalty.
