Abstract

T (2), Hendarti Indri (3)(1) Student of Faculty of Agriculture and (2) Lecturer Staff of Agriculture FacultyUniversity of Tanjungpura Pontianak  ABSTRACTStink bug Nezara viridula (L.) is one of the pests that attacks the nuts plantation, including long beans. This study aims to determine the biology of stink bug on the long bean (Vigna sinensis) in the laboratory. The research was conducted in the laboratory of Plant Pest Faculty of Agriculture of Tanjungpura University for about 4 months. Stink bug were rearing in jars that are hollowed under its bottom and covered with gauze, jars are used in reverse. Long bean as a feed was replaced every 2 days. The observations were made on 100 individu as a cohort divided into 10 jars, 1 jar there are 10 individual of stink bugs. The results showed that: the development period of Nezara viridula (L.) from hatching to adult ranged from 25 - 35 days, the stage of eggs ranged between 5 - 9 days. The nymph consists of 5 instars, the duration of first instar stage were (4 - 5 days), second instar were (5 - 11 days), third instar (5 - 12 days), fourth instar (6 - 12 days), and fifth instar (9 - 16 days). The sex ratio of stink bug on the long bean is 1 : 1. The period life of male adult ranged from 1 - 81 days and female adult ranged from 12 - 86 days. Pre-oviposition periods range from 15 - 47 days (average 10.19 days). The post-oviposition period ranges from 2 - 47 days (average 12.50  days). Egg fertility ranges from 0% - 96.47%. Egg height ranges from 0.59 to 0.62 mm. The number of eggs produced ranged from 113 to 780 eggs (an average of 320 eggs). The mortality of the first instar nymph was (20%), second instar (8,75%), third instar (6,84%),  fourth instar (13,27%), and fifth instar (27,11%). Keywords: Biology, Long beans (V. sinensis),  N. viridula (L)

Abstract

This study aims to determine the type  of plastic mulch and the best dose of chicken manure fertilizer for the growth and yield of the shallot crops on the alluvial soil. This research was carried out in the street of Ampera Pontianak, in march to may 2018. The research method used a Split plot design with tho factors, namely the type of plastic mulch (black silver plastic mulch, transparent plastic mulch) and chicken manure (1000 g/plot, 2000 g/plot, 3000 g/plot). Parameters obesrved were plant height, number of leaves, leaf chlorophyll, number of tubers per clump, fresh weight of tubers per clump and dry weight of tubers per clump, then results showed that the type of plastic mulch had no significant effeect on all observation parameters. Chicken manure fertilizer has a  significant effect on leaf,chloropyill. There was an interraction between the typemof plastic mulch and chicken manure against the number of tubers per clump. Keywords : shallot, types of palstic mulch, chicken manure

Abstract

 Blast is important disease of rice, and it caused by Pyricularia oryzae Cav. Synthetic fungicide in plant disease control may have negative impacts, so another alternative is needed. Yeast can used as a biocontrol agent. This research aims to investigate the potential of the yeast from leaf phyllosphere of rice paddy as biocontrol agent against P. oryzae. This research  was consisted of yeast exploration, isolation and filtrate antagonistic inhibition essay to P. oryzae, and yeast growth respon due to temperature. Ten isolates successfully obtained and tested as antagonist to P. oryzae. Five isolates, YLP05; YLP07; YLP08; YLP09; YLP10, have percentage inhibition more than 30% at 3 dai (day after incubation) dan more than 50% at 7 dai, but their filtrate had not shown any inhibition activity.  The five isolates had been formed colony on 1st day at 30°C.  Based on diameter and percentage of forming colony, the optimal temperature is different for each yeast isolates. Four isolates which can still grow at 20-40oC those are YPL05, YLP07, YLP09, and, YLP10.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengevaluasi distribusi penyaluran program beras miskin (raskin) di desa Punggur Kecil Kecamatan Sungai Kakap Kabupaten Kubu Raya. Data penelitian menggunakan data primer dan data sekunder dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 40 orang dengan jumlah populasi sampel 382 orang. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis ketepatan sasaran, analisis ketepatan jumlah, analisis ketepatan harga, analisis ketepatan waktu, analisis ketepatan kualitas dan analisis ketepatan administrarasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat keefektifan pendistribusian program raskin berdasarkan analisis kinerja ketepatan sasaran yaitu tidak efektif karena dalam pendistribusian raskin ada penambahan nama penerima raskin yang tidak terdaftar dalam data penerima raskin, kinerja ketepatan waktu tidak efektif, kinerja ketepatan harga tidak efektif, kinerja ketepatan jumlah efektif, kinerja ketepatan kualitas belum efektif. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa evaluasi dari kinerja keefektivitas penyaluran program raskin belum efektif.Kata Kunci : kinerja tepat sasaran, kinerja tepat waktu, kinerja tepat kualitas, kinerja tepat harga

Abstract

Anggrek alam merupakan anggrek yang belum mengalami persilangan yang masih hidup alami di habitat aslinya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menginventarisasi spesies anggrek di Sub DAS Sibau Taman Nasional Betung Kerihun Kecamatan Putussibau Utara  Kabupaten Kapuas Hulu. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan tanggal 09-11 April 2018 dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode purposive. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengambilan sampel adalah teknik line transect berseling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, secara keseluruhan ditemukan 7 genera anggrek yang terdiri dari 24 spesies, Adapun spesies anggrek yang ditemukan adalah 3 spesies Appendicula, 1 spesies Arundina, 7 spesies Bulbophylum, 7 spesies Coelogyne, 4 spesies Dendrobium, 1 spesies  Grammatophyllum dan 1 spesies Malaxis. 21 spesies anggrek merupakan tipe epifit dan 3 spesies anggrek merupakan tipe teressterial.  Anggrek yang paling banyak ditemukan di tempat penelitian adalah Genus Coelogyne dan Bulbophyllum.  Kata kunci : Bulbophyllum, Coelogyne, Pohon Inang, Vegetasi

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was to determine the effects of coastal sediment on shallot growth and yield on peat soil and best dossage to optimal growth and yield.This research was conducted on January 10, 2018 until March 10, 2018 in research garden of Tanjungpura University Pontianak. The design used in this study was by using Completely Randomized Design (RAL) consist of seven treatments with four replicates, and each experimental unit consisted of 3 plant samples, the number of plant plants 84 units consist of l0 = 0 % coastal sediment, equivalent 0 kg of coastal sediment + 9 kg of peat; l1 = 2.5 % coastal sediment, equivalent 0.225 kg of coastal sediment + 9 kg of peat; l2 = 5 % of coastal sediment, equivalent to 0.45 kg of coastal sediment + 9 kg of peat; l3 = 7.5 % of coastal sediment, equivalent to 0.675 kg of coastal sediment + 9 kg of peat; l4 = 10 % coastal sediment, equivalent to 0.9 kg of coastal sediment + 9 kg of peat; l5 = 12.5 % coastal sediment, equivalent to 1.125 kg of coastal sediment + 9 kg of peat; and l6 = 15 % of coastal sediment, along with 1.35 kg of coastal sediment     + 9 kg of peat. Variables in this study were plant height, number of leaves, number of tubers per hill, fresh weight of tubers per hill, dry weight of tubers per hill and soil pH after incubation. Environmental observations are also made, such as observations of temperature and humidity. The results showed that coastal sediment has significant effect on top plant height, fresh weight of tubers per hill, and dry weight of tubers per hill. At dossage of 7,5 % - 15 % coastal sediment, effects can increase the growth and yield of shallot. Keywords : coastal sediment, production, shallot

Abstract

Pertumbuhan populasi serangga tidak selalu sama, hal ini dikarenakan perkembangan populasi dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan dan makanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menetukan tanaman inang yang sesuai untuk perkembangan populasi P. citri dan D. brevipes dan membedakan perkembangan P. citri dan D. brevipes pada masing-masing tanaman inang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Pestisida Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Tanjungpura Pontianak selama 5 bulan, yaitu bulan Juli sampai bulan November 2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan 2 jenis kutu putih yaitu P. citri dan D.brevipes. Empat tanaman inang yang digunakan adalah bibit jeruk manis (Citrus sinensis.L.), tunas kentang (Solanum tuberosum L.), buah labu kuning (Cucurbita moschata Duch.), dan buah golden mama (Cucurbita moschata). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ukuran tubuh imago P. citri dan D. brevipes yang dipelihara pada buah labu kuning lebih panjang dan lebar dibandingkan pada buah golden mama, bibit jeruk dan tunas kentang. Rata- rata populasi P. citri yang dipelihara pada empat tanaman inang yaitu buah labu kuning 295,2 ekor,bibit jeruk 120,4 ekor, tunas kentang  37 ekor, dan buah golden mama 168,5 ekor. Rata- rata populasi D. brevipes yang dipelihara pada empat tanaman inang yaitu buah labu kuning 425,8 ekor, bibit jeruk 29 ekor, tunas kentang 84,2 ekor, dan buah golden mama 143,5 ekor. Laju pertumbuhan populasi P. citri dan D. brevipes pada empat tanaman inang menunjukkan pertumbuhan yang paling cepat dipelihara pada buah labu kuning dengan koefesien regresi pada P. citri yaitu 66,18 dan D. brevipes yaitu 83,42. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tanaman inang yang sesuai untuk perkembangan populasi P. citri dan D. brevipes yaitu buah labu kuning karena laju pertumbuhan populasi paling cepat dan ukuran tubuh paling besar.

Abstract

A Red ginger (Zingiber officinale Rosc.) is a herbal plant that is cultivated by farmers to meet the raw material of medicine industry and conserve the living environment. It contains various chemical substances such as essential oil and oleoresin (gingerol, zingeron, shogaol, and resin). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the combination treatment of rice husk charcoal, chicken manure, cocopeat, and alluvial soil on the growth and yield of red ginger plants and to determine which combination of planting media treatment could provide the best red ginger. This research was conducted in an experimental design arranged based on a Complete Random Design (RAL), with one treatment factor, namely a combination of planting media (P). Therefore, there were 7 combination treatments and each treatment repeated for three 4 times. Every experimental unit has 3 samples of plants. So, there are 84 samples of plants in the polybag. The variables observed were plant height, leaf area, leaf chlorophyll, number of leaves, number of tillers, rhizome weight per clump, and dry weight of plant. The results of the analysis show that various combinations of planting media have no significant effect on the observation variables Leaves, Leaf Chlorophyll, Leaf Area, Rhizome weight per clump, dry weight of plant, Plant Height 4 MST, 8 MST, and 12 MST and significantly influence the number of tillers. The results showed that in the combination treatment of soil planting media : rice husk charcoal : chicken manure with a ratio of 1: 1: 1 significantly affected the number of tillers.Keywords: Alluvial, Red Ginger, and Planting Media Combination.

Abstract

         Anggrek merupakan salah satu tanaman hias yang banyak diminati dan dibudidayakan oleh masyarakat Indonesia, salah satunya adalah jenis anggrek Vanda sp. Anggrek yang dibudidayakan memerlukan pemeliharaan dan nutrisi yang mencukupi untuk menunjang pertumbuhannya. Penambahan nutrisi dapat dilakukan melalui pemupukan. Umumnya nutrisi untuk tanaman anggrek diberikan lewat daun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konsentrasi terbaik dari pupuk organik cair Super Bionik untuk pertumbuhan vegetatif Anggrek Vanda sp. Pelaksanaan penelitian dilakukan di rumah penelitian Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Tanjungpura Pontianak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah eksperimen Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), yang terdiri dari 5 taraf perlakuan dan setiap perlakuan terdiri dari 5 ulangan dan setiap unit perlakuan terdiri dari 4 tanaman. Total keseluruhan diperoleh 100 sampel tanaman. Perlakuan yang digunakan adalah konsentrasi Pupuk Organik Cair Super Bionik, dimana k1: 1 ml/l, k2: 2 ml/l, k3: 3 ml/l, k4: 4 ml/l, k5: 5 ml/l. Variabel yang diamati dalam penelitian ini adalah persentase hidup tanaman (%), pertambahan panjang daun (cm), pertambahan jumlah daun (helai), dan pertambahan jumlah akar (helai). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa konsentrasi POC 1; 2; 3; 4 dan 5 ml/l memberikan pertumbuhan yang sama untuk tanaman anggrek Vanda sp, namun pemberian konsentrasi POC yang efektif adalah 2 ml/l. Kata kunci: Anggrek Vanda sp, Konsentrasi, Pupuk Organik Cair,

Abstract

Monika (1), Tris Haris Ramadhan (2), Indri Hendarti( 3) (1) University Student of Agriculture and (2) Instructor Staf of Agriculture Faculty Tanjungpura University Pontianak  ABSTRACTLeptoglossus australis F  is one of the pests of cucumber  that reduce the quality and quantity of yield. The purpose of this research was to find out when the critical period of fruit whenever attack by L.australis can cause  damage. The research was conducted in the plant protection laboratory and on the land of the Faculty of Agriculture of Tanjungpura University for approximately 5 months. The design used was a randomized block design (RAK) with 7 treatment levels and 4 replications. The treatment use was time of infestation (M) when the different of fruit age began with one days post pollination (M1), two days after pollination (M2), three days after pollination (M3), four days after pollination (M4), five days after pollination (M5), and six days after pollination (M6) along with the control (M0). In each treatment was infested two bugs of 3rd instar with one day infestation. Before infestation, the bug fasting at 10 hours.  The damage of cucumber fruit is measured by the length of the fruit, the diameter of the fruit, and the weight of the fruit of the cucumber.
