Abstract

This study aims to determine the type of bokashi that is best for the growth and yield of shallots on alluvial soil. This research was carried out on the Tanjungpura University Faculty of Agriculture experimental field in Pontianak which took place January 26th 2018 to March 27th 2018. The method used was Randomized Block Design (RBD) consist of 4 treatments, 6 replications, and 16 sample plants. Giving various types of bokashi including p1 = 20 tons / ha of Mesona spp waste bokashi; p2 = 20 tons / ha of vegetable waste bokashi, p3 = 20 tons / ha of Eichhornia crassipes bokashi and p4 = 20 tons / ha Hymenachine amplexicaulis bokashi. Variabeles observed were plant height, number of tillers, dry weight of plants, number of tubers per clump, fresh weight of tubers per clump, fresh weight of tuber per plot, dry weight of tuber clump and dry weight of tuber per plot. The results of the study concluded that the best types of bokashi for growth and yield of shallots on alluvial soil have not been found, giving Mesona spp waste bokashi, vegetable waste bokashi, Eichhornia crassipes bokashi and Hymenachine amplexicaulis bokashi providing the same growth and yield of shallots on alluvial soil. Keywords: alluvial, bokashi, shallots

Abstract

The use of peat land for agriculture is growing rapidly. However, in this utilization various problems were encountered, one of which was the strength of phosphate nutrients. One alternative to overcome the low availability of phosphate is to use a phosphate solvent fungus. This study aims to determine the population and type of phosphate solubilizing fungus and the population differences in several peatland uses (oil palm, pineapple, mustard, aloe, papaya and secondary forest) and to know the ability of fungi to dissolve phosphate nutrients. The methods used in this study are preparation, selection and observation of the location of the study, determination of sampling points, soil sampling (microbiology specific soil samples, sample samples and disturbed soil samples), preparation and sterilization of equipment and media in the laboratory, calculation and isolation fungus phosphate solubilizing colonies. The results showed that the highest population of phosphate solubilizing fungus (CPF) was found on pineapple land which was as much as 2.99 x 104 CFU / ml, and the lowest on aloe vera land was 2.11 x 104 CFU / ml. The analysis of the diversity of CPF population numbers on six land uses showed that the number of CPF populations had no significant effect. The types of fungi found were 13 types of solubilizing fungi. The land use which has the most phosphate solvent fungus types is oil palm and pineapple land. The ability of the fungus to dissolve phosphate can be seen from how large the clear zone is formed. Land use which has the largest area of clear zone is found in oil palm land which is equal to 242.31 mm2 and the smallest on pineapple land which is equal to 118.74 mm2. The test results of the analysis of the wide diversity of clear zones on aloe vera, papaya, mustard, oil palm, pineapple and secondary forest showed that the area of clear zones had no significant effect on land use. The land use system influences the diversity of phosphate solubilizing microorganisms and the ability to dissolve phosphate but the land use system does not affect the population of phosphate solubilizing fungi. Keywords: Phosphate Solubilizing Fungi, Phosphate, Peat Soil, Phosphate Solubilizing Microorganism, Clear Zone

Abstract

      Increasing the productivity of red yellow podsolic soil to increase the growth of pepper cuttings include the provision of organic material in the form of manure. The research aims to determine the growth response of pepper cutting to the provision of several types of manure and determine the best kind of manure for the growth of pepper cuttings on red yellow podsolic. The research was conducted in Bansir Laut Village, Pontianak City, starting May 25th, 2018 until August 25th, 2018. The method used in this study is a field experiment method with a completely randomized design pattern (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and 5 replications, each replication consisting of 5 sample plants, media comparisons using a volume ratio (v / v). The treatment is as follows: m1 = Soil: Cow manure, m2 = Soil : Chicken manure, m3 = Soil: Duck Manure and m4 = Soil: Quail Manure. The variables observed in this study were the number of roots, root length, root volume, root dry weight, number of leaves, shoot dry weight and percentage of live. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis tingkat motivasi petani dan pengaruh faktor intinsik serta faktor ekstrinsik terhadap motivasi keikutsertaan petani kelapa sawit swadaya dalam kelembagaan pertanian di Kabupaten Sambas. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu 100 responden yang dipilih dengan metode purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner untuk kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif dan dianalisis dengan Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) menggunakan software LISREL. Hasil analisis secara deskriptif tingkat motivasi keikutsertaan petani kelapa sawit swadaya dalam kelembagaan pertanian berada pada ketegori Sangat Tinggi. Hasil analisis Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) mendapatkan faktor intrinsik berpengaruh terhadap motivasi keikutsertaan petani kelapa sawit swadaya dalam kelembagaan pertanian di Kabupaten Sambas, sedangkan faktor ekstinsik tidak berpengaruh.

Abstract

 ABSTRACT              The research aims to know the effect of manure and variety to both growth and rice’s crop uses SRI method includes the interaction to tidal lands. The research carried out at Kalimas village, Sungai Kakap Sub District, Kubu Raya Regency. It was started in May to August 2018 by using Split Plot Design consistog P0 (0 ton/Ha), P1 (5 ton/Ha) and P2 (10 ton/Ha) while temporary Main Plot, the sub  plot consist of V1 (Inpari 32 variety) and V2 (Situbagendit variety). Each treatment is repeated four times and 5 samples for each paddy farming. Variables which be observed are height, number of tilers, productive tillers, panicle length, grains weight per clusters, number of grains per panicle, percentage of filled grains, and 1000 grain weight. The result shows that manure affects on the entire variables, whereas variety significantly affects the height, length, and weight. However, the grains per panicle, the number of tillers and the percentage are not affected. According to this study, manure with proper dose is 10 tons/Ha will increase production, While the Situbagendit and Inpari 32 varieties showed significant differences compared to the SRI method.Keywords: Inpari 32 Variety, Manure, Situbagendit Variety, Sri Method.

Abstract

ABSTRAKSeiring meningkatnya kesadaran dan kepedulian masyarakat terhadap kesehatan, sayuran kini menjadi alternatif pilihan dalam pola konsumsi masyarakat Indonesia. Salah satunya adalah sayuran hidroponik yang semakin diminati oleh konsumen baik sebagai sumber vitamin dan serat, juga sebagai investasi kesehatan jangka panjang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh faktor sikap dan minat beli terhadap proses keputusan pembelian sayuran hidroponik. Reponden yang digunakan adalah 150 responden secara non-probability sampling dengan metode deskriptif menggunakan analisis Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan faktor minat beli berpengaruh signifikan sedangkan faktor sikap tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian sayuran hidroponik. Pengaruh tertinggi terjadi pada indikator kognitif yaitu  bagaimana pengetahuan konsumen mengenai sayuran hidroponik  menjadi faktor penting. Upaya yang harus dilakukan adalah dengan memberikan layanan terbaik kepada konsumen sayuran hidroponik dan memilih lokasi terbaik dalam memasarkan sayuran hidroponik. Kata Kunci: Keputusan Pembelian, Minat Beli, Sikap Konsumen, Structural Equation Modelling (SEM).

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the performance of extension agents and analyze the influence of Age, Formal Education, Work Experience, Availability of Facilities and Infrastructure, Reward Systems, Distance of Work Areas, and Number of Dominant Commodities of farmers to the performance of extension agents in Landak Regency. This research is included in the type of quantitative research; the location of the study was carried out in Landak Regency by selecting 5 sub-districts which were able to represent the entire population; The method of determining the location is done by purposive method based on certain considerations;  Methods of collecting data using the survey method. The results of this study can be concluded that the performance of agricultural extension agents in Landak Regency is significantly influenced by formal education, work experience and reward systems. Distance of work area negatively affects the performance of extension agents. While the age variable, the availability of facilities and infrastructure and the number of dominant commodities did not significantly influence the performance of extension agents. Efforts are needed from the government to provide official housing in assisted villages, especially for extension workers whose working area is very far, because it affects the performance of extension workers, in addition close proximity can build intimacy and kinship between farmers and extension agents so as to facilitate all extension activities.Keywords: Extension, Landak Regency, Performance.

Abstract

AbstrakKegiatan pengelolaan tanah memerlukan informasi karakteristik sifat fisika dan sifat kimia tanah beserta sebarannya. Pada saat ini informasi jenis tanah yang tersedia di Desa Karimunting, Kecamatan Sungai Raya kepulauan masih berskala tinjau serta masih bersifat asosiasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi karakteristik tanah serta membuat peta sebaran jenis tanah skala detail (1:25.000). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan metode survey tanah pada tingkat detail, dimulai dengan penyusunan satuan lahan dengan superimpose peta lereng dan peta penggunnan lahan, survey tanah, serta pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode sistematis fisiografis. Berdasarkan hasil lapangan maupun hasil analisis kimia dan fisika tanah dapat diketahui bahwa tanah yang tersebar di Desa karimunting terdiri dari Hydraquentic Sulfaquepts (390,45 hektar), Typic Haplohemists (2116,83 hektar), Typic Hapludults (257,26 hektar), Typic Kandiudults (110,61 hektar), dan Typic Sulfudepts (985,07 hektar).Kata Kunci :  Karimunting, Kelas Lereng, Sebaran Jenis tanah,Sungai Raya Kepulauan, Pemetaan Tanah, Penggunaan Lahan

Abstract

Nugget is a processed product that is mostly made from chicken meat. One of the alternative of chicken meat substitutes in processing nuggets is minced fish. Triggerfish can be used as the raw material for the making of nugget. Tapioca flour is needed as binder in the process of nugget making. Tapioca flour can be formulated with other ingredients such as pumpkin. The purpose of this study was to find the best formulation between tapioca flour and pumpkin to produce triggerfish nugget that can be accepted by consumers. The results showed that the treatment with the addition of pumpkin significantly affected the water content, carbohydrate content, taste, texture and flavor. The best treatment based on the effectiveness index test is 50 g of pumpkin and 200 g of tapioca flour. The physicochemical properties of triggerfish nuggets have an average water content 47,30%, ash 1,98%, protein 9,28%, fat content 13,39% and carbohydrate content 28,04%. The sensory properties were taste 5,16 (like), texture 5,24 (like), flavor 5,00 (like).Keyword: binder, formulation, triggerfish, pumpkin, nugget

Abstract

This study aims to determine the interaction of planting media and the concentration of POC bean sprouts that provide the best growth of red betel cuttings. This research was carried out from February to May 2018 in the Maya Island sub-district of Kemboja village. The study used factorial experimental methods with a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of two factors, namely planting media (m) POC bean sprouts (p). The media consists of two levels, namely (husk charcoal and manure soil), POC factor consists of 4 levels, namely (0%, 20%, 40%, and 60%), there are 8 combinations of treatments with 3 replications and each replication consists of 3 sample plants. The combination of treatments meant is m1p0, m1p1, m1p2, m1p3, m2p0, m2p1, m2p2, and m2p3. Observation variables observed were cut length (cm), number of leaves (strands), root volume (cm3), and shoot dry weight (g). The results showed that there was a significant interaction in root volume and dry weight, and gave the highest mean treatment (soil and manure + POC 40%), which was 2.63 cm3 for root volume and 1.56 g for shoot dry weight.Keyword : land, husk charcoal, manure, POC bean sprouts
