Abstract

This research is to investigate the influence of company image and relationship marketing on consumer purchasing decision at PT. Astra International Daihatsu, Branch Office S.M. Raja Medan. The research is a quantitative method while the questionnaire used for data collection. The sample of the study is 100 out of 596 counsummers as population in 2016 using simple random sampling. Multiple linear regression and coefficient determination are used to analyze the data . The results show that partially the company image has significant positive effect on consumer purchasing decisions at PT. Astra International Daihatsu, SM Raja Medan Office Branch because tcount ttable (6.648 1.661). Partially, relationship marketing does not have an influence on company image on consumer purchasing decision at PT. Astra International Daihatsu SM Raja Medan Office Branch because tcount ttable (0.683 1.661). Simultaneously, company image and relationship marketing have a significant positive effect on consumer purchasing decisions at PT. Astra International Daihatsu SM Raja Medan Office Branch because Fcount Ftable (22.592 2.36). The coefficient of determination shows the influence of these two variables is 31.8% and the remaining 77.3% is influenced by other factors that come out of this research such as promotion, price, customer satisfaction and so on.

Abstract

The formulation of problem in this research there is influence  of work attitude on job stress. There is influence  of self ability on job stress. There is  work attitude on employees performance. Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of affective commitment, normative commitment and continuous commitment to the employees’ performance at the National Land Agency of Medan.The population of this study was 121 employees of the National Land Agency of Medan, whereas Slovin formula was used to determine 55 respondents as sample of the study. The questionnaire and documents were used as research instruments for data collection. This type of research was descriptive quantitative while the obtained data was analyzed through multiple linear regression and calculated by SPSS 20.  The hypothesis testing was performed by t test, F test and test of determination (R2). The results showed that the variables affective commitment, normative commitment and continuous commitment were significant positive effecting to the employees’ performance. The affective commitment obtained t-value 3,239 1,675 t-table and significant value 0.002 0.05, and normative commitment obtained t-value 2646 1675 with significant t-table 0.011 0.05, while continuos commitment obtained t-value 3,191 1,675 with significant t-table 0,002 0.05. Test F was used to know whether the mentioned variables had simultaneously effected to the employee performance, and the evidence was indicating that the value of F was 61 179 F table 3,179 with significant value 0.000 0.05. The analysis showed further that the affective commitment, normative commitment and continuous commitment influenced significantly to employee performance and it was in accordance with the test of determination (R2), was 0.770, or 77.0%, while the remaining was 23.0% and it could be from other factors which were not included in this research model.

Abstract

Sumber daya manusia adalah sumber daya yang harus dikelola. Mengelola sumber daya manusia tidak dapat dipisahkan dari beberapa factor salah satunya adalah kepuasan kerja pegawai itu sendiri yang diharapkan akan bekerja untuk mencapai tujuan organisasi. Pegawai negeri memiliki posisi sebagai elemen dari sifat negara yang memiliki tugas untuk memberikan layanan kepada masyarakat secara profesional, jujur, adil dan setara dalam pelaksanaan tugas negara.Kreativitas secara umum adalah kemampuan yang menghasilkan tidak hanya dalam penemuan ide-ide baru dan memiliki nilai lebih tetapi juga dapat merupakan kombinasi dari hal-hal sebelumnya (Munandar, 2009) penelitian yang dilakukan oleh Zhou dan Shalley (2003) yang menyatakan bahwa faktor-faktor faktor yang berkontribusi pada kreativitas karyawan. Adapun kreativitas yang dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor dan memiliki beberapa dimensi, kepuasan kerja menurut Utari (2005) adalah keadaan emosional yang menyenangkan atau tidak menyenangkan yang mana pegawai melihat hasil dari kerja yang mereka lakukan.. Masalah dalam penelitian yang saya lakukan di kantor Sekretariat Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah Provinsi Sumatera Utara adalah rendahnya kinerja pegawai yang dihasilkan dimana kurangnya kolaborasi antara satu pegawai dengan pegawai yang lainnya di lapangan, yang didasarkan pada keegoisan di tingkat setiap bagian sehingga  kepuasan kerja tidak pernah dirasakan oleh pegawai yang berimbas pada menurunnya kinerja pegawai di lingkungan Sekretariat Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah Provinsi Sumatera Utara

Abstract

Before carrying out teaching and learning activities, teachers need to make teaching preparations or Recana Learning Implementation (RPP) in order to implement some of the monthly plans and annual plans. In preparation it is already contained about, the purpose of teaching, the material to be taught, teaching methods, lesson materials, learning model props, and evaluation techniques used. Therefore every teacher must understand correctly about the purpose of teaching, specifically choosing and determining teaching methods according to the goals to be achieved, how to choose, determine and use props, how to make tests and use them, and knowledge of evaluation tools. Problem-based research, (a) Does structured learning with assignments affect the learning outcomes of Social Knowledge? b) How does structured learning affect students' learning motivation? The purpose of this action research is: (a) To uncover the influence of structured learning models on the learning outcomes of Social Knowledge. (b) To uncover a structured learning model for the motivation of social knowledge learning of Grade VII.1 students of SMP Negeri 11 Binjai. This study uses action research as many as three rounds. Each round consists of four stages: design, activities and observations, reflections, and reflections. The target of this study was students of Grade VII.1 SMP Negeri 11 Binjai. The data obtained in the form of formative test results, observation sheets of teaching and learning activities. From the results of the analysts obtained that students' learning achievements improved from cycle I to cycle III, namely, cycle I (67.74%), cycle II (77.41%), cycle III (96.77%). The conclusion of this study is that the structured learning model can have a positive effect on the learning motivation of Smp Negeri 11 Binjai students, and this learning model can be used as an alternative to social knowledge learning in junior high school.

Abstract

In the era of globalization of business competition that is increasingly advanced and continues to increase, the pattern of people’s lives is predicted to experience significant changes. Excellence in this competition is mainly price discounts that can create consumer interest.This study aims to determine how much influence price discount has on impulse buying decisions, the effect of in-store displays on impulse buying decisions and the effect of price discounts and joint in-store displays on the decision on impulse buying on Miniso products.This study uses quantitative methods. This research was carried out on Miniso in Medan. The time of the study was conducted in December 2018 to Maret 2019. The population in this study could not ensure consumers who made impulsive purchases in Miniso Sun Plaza Medan and sample in this study were 96 respondents. As a research sample and sampling technique using a non probability sampling method that is by purposive sampling. Data analysis techniques used are multiple linear regression.Based on the results of the regression coefficient at the price discount of 0.305 with the value of tcount of 4.461 and the regression coefficient value in the in-store display of 0.323 with the value of tcount 3.842. Value the F test, the calculated value is 39.621 Ftable 3.09 and the significant level for the F test is 0.000 0.05. It means that price discount and in-store display have a positive and significant effect on the decision of impulse buying.

Abstract

The research is tittled “The Effect of Communication Competency, Emotional Intelegency and This study discusses work motivation, intrinsic motivation, and organizational culture on the performance of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) in the Environmental Service of North Sumatra Province. This research was conducted at the Environmental Service of North Sumatra Province which is located at Jl. Tengku Daud No. 5, Medan City, North Sumatra. This research uses quantitative methods with the type of research using secondary and primary data. The population of this study is all employees of the North Sumatra Province Environmental Agency, men and women who support 112 people. Samples were taken as many as 54 people. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression, coefficient of determination (R2), partial test (t-test) and simultaneous test (F-test) using SPSS version 19.0. The results of the analysis show that of the three independent variables included in the regression model for involvement, intrinsic motivation and organizational culture. The variable work involvement of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) in the North Sumatra Province Environmental Service has a positive and significant influence on the performance of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN). Based on the results of partial significance testing (t-test), the tcount value of 2.705 1.674 was obtained with a significance level of 0.00 0.05. Intrinsic motivation of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) in the North Sumatra Province Environmental Service has a positive and significant impact on the performance of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN). Based on the results of partial significance testing (t-test), the tcount value of 3.742 1.674 was obtained with a significance level of 0.00 0.05. Organizational culture in the North Sumatra Province Environmental Agency has a negative influence on the performance of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN). The results of the partial significance test (t-test) found t-value of -1.19557 t-table -1.674 with a significance level of 0.056 0.05. The results showed that the variables of work involvement, intrinsic motivation, and organizational culture together had a significant positive effect on performance. This is evidenced by the results of the regression test statistics obtained values with a probability of 0.000 0.05, it can be explained that work involvement, intrinsic motivation, and organizational culture have a significant positive effect on performance. Then the fourth hypothesis is accepted.

Abstract

The problems in this research are: How is the influence of supervision, education and training and performance appraisal partially and simultaneously on the career development of employees at the Batam Madya Tax Service Office? Research objectives: To determine the effect of supervision, education and training and performance appraisal partially and simultaneously on the career development of employees at the Batam Intermediate Tax Office. The proposed hypothesis is: There is a significant effect of supervision, education and training and performance appraisal partially and jointly on the career development of employees at the Batam Madya Tax Service Office. The research was conducted at the Batam Intermediate Tax Service Office, Jalan Kuda Laut Number 1 Batu Ampar Batam 29432, with a population of 99 people, and the research sample as many as 97 people. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that supervision had no effect on career development of the Batam Intermediate Tax Office employees, this was supported by the results of the analysis of t count t-table (0.742 1.986) at n = 97 at 95% significance level. Education and training have a positive and significant effect on the career development of Batam Middle Tax Office employees, this is supported by the analysis of t count t-table (2,920 1,986) at n = 97 at 95% significance level. Performance appraisal has an effect on career development of Batam Intermediate Tax Office employees, this is supported by the analysis of t count t-table (5.862 1.986) at n = 97 with a significant level of 95%. The value of F-count F table (31.660 2.70) this means that together (multiple) there is a positive and significant influence on supervision, education and training and performance assessment on career development of Batam Middle Tax Office employees. Thus, the proposed hypothesis is accepted as true.

Abstract

This study aims to describe da'wah management through social media as the development of the Islamic da'wah approach in the modern era. This is a qualitative study by collecting data from relevant literature such as books, magazines, and so on. Therefore, this type of research is called library research. The results show that mass media cannot be separated in human life moreover it is supported by technology in the communication system which is on the one hand, will be a challenge for Islamic da'wah and can be a prospect on the other side. There are at least 5 (five) kinds of influences on the development of communication technology both on da'wah actors and their da'wah partners which include economic aspects, social aspects, rescheduling, entertainment and taking part in media activities. In this sense, dakwah is required to try to make the best use of technology products. It could be using the internet and e-mail or blogs, facebook, twitter, e-mail, whatsapp, messenger, BBM, instagram, line and so on in which these facilities allow da'wah through direct interactive, question-answer session, discussion, sending messages, interfaces and communicating directly. In other words, preachers (dai) must be able to manage and at least be able to provide software for television programs for example, or films and drama so that the packaging of Islamic da'wah becomes warmer, actual, more interesting, effective and efficient.

Abstract

Increasing times require organizations to be able to make decisions in terms of the right strategy in order to compete at an increasingly stringent and competitive institution level. The decision concerns decisions in all functional areas. One thing that must be considered by the company in managing functions: -The function of management is how to manage human resources to be able to improve performance. The success and performance of agencies can be seen from the performance that has been achieved by its employees, therefore agencies demand that agencies be able to display optimal performance because of the good and bad performance achieved by employees will affect the performance and success of the agency as a whole. The performance of Lhokseumawe Branch Social Security Organizing (BPJS) employees can also be measured through the effective and efficient completion of their duties and carrying out their roles and functions and these are all linearly related and positively related to the success of an agency. There are negative factors that can reduce employee performance, including the decline in employee performance due to lack of employee emotional intelligence in completing work so that every job is always done based only on obligations so that every problem of being worked always cannot be overcome but immediately surrendered and was not done for reasons of not understanding, another thing was the lack of employee desire to explore every job because the characteristics of the work were not studied by employees of the Social Security Organizing Agency (BPJS) of the Lhokseumawe Branch Health added by the low motivation of employees to learn every job. All of that is the cause of the decline in employee performance at work. The location of the research will be conducted at the Health Insurance Provider Agency (BPJS) of the Lhokseumawe Health Branch at Jalan Iskandar Muda no 1 Kampung Lama Lama. With the sampling technique in total sampling or census method, the sample in this study amounted to 58 people in all populations. There is a significant influence of Emotional Intelligence on the performance of employees in the Health Insurance Organizing Agency (BPJS) Lhokseumawe Branch of 0.088 on employee performance so that it can be concluded that adequate Emotional Intelligence can determine employee performance will also be high even though there are other variables that support to see the results of performance an employee. There is an influence that the Job Characteristics on performance in the Health Insurance Provider Agency (BPJS) of the Lhokseumawe Branch of 0.014 can be concluded that the Job Characteristics will be able to have high results if the employee has good Job Characteristics. Employee motivation has an effect on employee performance by 0.887 and this significant indicates that motivation can improve performance, Emotional Intelligence, Job Characteristics and Motivation together have a significant effect on employee performance in the Health Insurance Administering Agency (BPJS) Lhokseumawe Branch, is 85% while the remaining 15% is explained by other variables not included in this research model.
