Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of celebrity endorsers and advertisements about the interest in buying Nike sports shoes. This is a case study of students of STIE Eka Prasetya-Medan and is a quantitative descriptive method. The population in this study was 623 students who had ever and never used Nike sports, while the sample was 86 students which was determined by using convenience sampling and Slovin formula. Multiple linear regression was used to analyze the data which showed that Y = 7.435a + 0.039X1 + 0.337X2 + 0.1e. The results of the study partially showed that the variable celebrity endorser partially proved to have an effect even not significant influence on the buying interest of Nike sport shoes. The evidence showed that from the value of t-count 0.289 smaller than t-table value 1.663 and the advertisement variable partially proved to have a positive and significant influence on buying interest of Nike sports shoes as evidenced by t-count 3,457 greater than the value of t table 1,663. Subsequently, the variations of celebrity endorsers and advertisements simultaneously have a positive effect on buying interest of Nike sports as evidenced by the f-count value of 13.762 greater than the f-table value of 2.37. Variable buying interest is influenced by celebrity endorser and advertising variables by 24.9%, while the remaining was 75.1% explained by the influence of factors or other outside variables such as price, quality, location, and others which were not discussed in this study.

Abstract

Abstract

This paper is based on the research regarding incentive and self-quality development of employees at PDAM Tirtasari Binjai. Both incentive and self-quality development is an important aspect to enhance the employees’ performance. Therefore, this research was conducted to know further more on how the incentive and self quality effect to the employees’s performance.The population of the research was all employees of the PDAM Tirtasari Binjai, and the number of them was 112 people. Random sampling technique was used to decide 88 employees as sample of the research. The questionnary and interview were used as instruments for data collection. The data that gained from the questionannary was processed through statistical approach and it would be cross-checked later with the data that obtained from interview. In this sense, the data from interview stands as complement and to support the statistical analysis. The result of the research indicated that the incentives (X1) had a significant impact to the employee’s performance (Y) as well as the self-quality development (X2) which wasa significant impact to the employees’ performance (Y).

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh merek dan kualitas layanan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan Sosro pada PT. Medan Sumber Alam Semesta Medan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan sifat penelitian hubungan kausal. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah 236 pelanggan. Dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin di dapat sampel penelitian sebanyak 148 responden dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling sedangkan sebanyak 30 responden untuk pengujian validitas dan reliabilitas diambil dari diluar jumlah sampel. Untuk mengetahui hubungan variabel independen terhadap dependen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda dan uji asumsi klasik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan secara simultan merek dan kualitas layanan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan Sosro pada PT. Medan Sumber Alam Semesta Medan dengan Fhitung = 13,666 Ftabel = 3,06 dan signifikansi 0,000 0,05. Hasil penelitian secara parsial menunjukkan merek berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan Sosro dengan nilai thitung ttabel atau 4,361 1,97646. Secara parsial kualitas layanan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan Sosro dengan nilai thitung ttabel atau 2,589 1,97646. Hasil uji koefisien determinasi menunjukkan 14,7% dari variasi variabel loyalitas pelanggan Sosro dipengaruhi oleh merek dan kualitas layanan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lainnya.

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study is whether the location of the sale affects the consumer's purchase decision, whether the price affects the consumer's purchase decision, whether the location of the sale and the price affect the consumer's purchase decision. The purpose of this study is to know the influence of sales location on consumer purchasing decisions, To know the influence of prices on consumer purchasing decisions, To know the influence of sales locations and prices on consumer purchasing decisions. This research is a survey research and is casual associative. The population in this study amounted to 100 people and the sample in this study amounted to 100 buyers on broiler breed chickens. Data collection techniques using questionnaires that have been tested for validity and reliability. Tenik data analysis used is multiple linear regression. The results of this study show that Sales Locations have a positive and significant effect on consumer purchasing decisions. This is evidenced by the calculated t value the table t value of 2,681 1,984 with a significant rate of 0.000 0.05. Price has a positive and significant effect on consumer purchasing decisions, This is evidenced by the calculated t value of t table which is 7,377 1,984 with a significant rate of 0.000 0.05 Sales Location and Price positively and significantly affect consumer purchasing decisions. This is evidenced by the value of f calculate f table which is 61,134 3.09 with a significant rate of 0.000 0.05.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of job satisfaction and work motivation on employee performance at PT. Tanimas Soap Industries. This research is survey research. PT. Tanimas Soap Industries is a company engaged in manufacturing and exporting soap. The researcher used simple random sampling technique using the help of Slovin formula. With a population of129 people and an error rate(e) of 5%, the sample(n) of this study was 97 people while the validity and reliability tests were taken from the rest of the population after calculating Slovin formula as many as 30 people. The data analysis model used is multiple linear regression using SPSS v.17.0 software. From this research, Reseacher got a result that tcount  ttable  work satisfaction variable (3,703 1,985) with significance 0,000 0,05 and tcount ttable  work motivation variable (3,814 1,985) with significance 0,000 0,05 and Fcount   Ftable  was24,750 3,09 with significance 0,000 0,05. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance and job satisfaction and work motivation have an effect simultaneously on employee performance.

Abstract

The research is tittled “The Effect of Communication Competency, Emotional Intelegency and Organizational Culture towards Employee Performance Of Badan Pendapatan Daerah Kabupaten Dairi”. The objective would be to know the effect of Communication Competency, Emotional Intelegency and Organizational Culture towards Employee Performance Of Badan Pendapatan Daerah Kabupaten Dairi. Analysis method that use were descriptive analysis method and stastistic using multiple linear regression, simultaneous test and partial test. The calculation of data analysis was used SPSS software for Windows. The data that used were primer and secondary. This research were used the 47 respondents which determinate by simple random sampling. The result of this research by multiple linear regression test shows that the communication competency, emotional intelegency and organizational culture have positive and significant effect on employee performance Of Badan Pendapatan Daerah Kabupaten Dairi. And based on partial test showed that the organizational culture variable has dominant effect towards employee performance of Badan Pendapatan Daerah Kabupaten Dairi.

Abstract

Problem of this study what is influence of  emotional intellegence on performance. What is influence of     competency on performance. What is influence of   job culture  on performance. What is influence of  job satisfaction on  performance. What is influence  emotional intellegence,     competency, job culture  and  job satisfaction on   performance. The purpose of this study to determine and analyze the effect of   emotional intellegence on   performance. Determine and analyze the effect of    competency on   performance. Determine and analyze the effect of job culture  on   performance. Determine and analyze the effect of  job satisfaction on   performance. Determine and analyze the effect of   emotional intellegence,   competency, job culture  and  job satisfaction on   performance.  Sample in the study is 74 employees. Data analysis techniques used in this study is descriptive analyze and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study indicate  emotional intellegence  has a positive and significant effect on performance.   competency  has a positive and significant effect on   performance. Job culture   has a positive and significant effect on   performance.  Job satisfaction  has a positive and significant effect on performance.  Emotional intellegence,   competency, job culture  and  job satisfaction  has a positive and significant effect on   performance.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of tax service and sanctions on compliance to pay income tax. It is conducted at PT. Kencana Inti Perkasa and employing the population and sample from the employees of this enterprise. The sample of the study is 87 respondents by using purposive sampling and the data is gained from respondenses through questionnaire which has been spread up around the population and analyzed by statistical approach includes a test of validity, reliability test, test the assumptions of regression analysis, classical hypotesis, multiple regression analysis, testing the hypothesis through a test of determination, t-test and f- test. Both tax services (X1) and tax sanction (X2) stand as independent variables while the employees’ complience to pay income tax is as dependent variable (Y). The results shows that regression analysis Y = 8,747 + 0,442 X1 + 0,650 X2 + 0,05. Partially indicate that taxes servise (X1) effects to compliance pays income tax of employees (Y) with a value of the tcount  of 8,781 1,66298. The most influential tax sanctions (X2) compliens significantly to pay income tax with a value of the tcount of 5,633 1,66298. Simultaneously the tax services and tax sanctions give effect significantly to compliance pays income tax of employess of PT. Kencana Inti Perkasa with a value of fcount  of 95,989 3,11. Determination of coefficient of 96,9% indicates that the variable pay income tax compliance can be explained by the variables of the tax services and tax sanctions, while the rest of 30,4% explained by other variables.

Abstract

The phenomenon of law enforcement after the revision of the KPK Law which was updated to Law No. 19 of 2019 has drawn a variety of criticisms. Research with the title  Distortion of Integrity and Corruption Prevention, with the location of the study at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Communications, Djuanda University, Bogor. In the observation of researchers that the revision of the KPK Law is a distortion causing the weakening of the duties and functions of the KPK in preventing corruption. Proven Case of Substitution of Inter-Time Members of the House of Representatives from the PDIP (HM) faction which is floated makes the public doubt the integrity of this Rasuah institution. Using descriptive analysis methods, researchers hope to describe the object under study through data or samples that have been collected as they are. Data and information obtained are then collected and analyzed using assessment scores based on predetermined criteria for further interpretation in order to obtain maximum results.The results obtained after being analyzed by WMS (Weight Mean Score / (M = Ʃf (x) / n) show Between Integrity and Law Enforcement through the Tiki-Taka Strategy in Corruption Prevention can be quite Good
