Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to analyze and prove the influence of the implementation of student team achievement division model on the results of learning mathematics class V SDN 03 Pontianak City. The research method used is experimental method with quasi experimental research and design type nonequivalent control group design. The population is all students of class V SDN 03 Pontianak City amounting to 117 people. The sample in this research were 24 students of classVB (control class) and 32students of classVC(experimental class). Data collection techniques used are measurement techniques with data collection tools in the form of student learning outcomes in the form of stuffing that amounted to 4 questions with 30 columns of stuffing. The research showed that the average post-test control class is  60.58 and the mean post-test experimental class is 71,94. The result of t- test got thitung3,5429 amounted to 1,6749 and ttabel (α = 5% with dk = 54) that is meant thitung (3,5429) > ttabel (1,6749), so Ha is received. So, it can be concluded that there is influence of the implementation of student team achievement division model on mathematics learning outcomes of students class V SDN 03 Pontianak City. The counting of effect size, got ES amounted is 0,8 that belong to the high criteria. Keywords: Student Team Achievement DivisionModel, Learning Outcomes, Mathematic

Abstract

AbstractCulture is developing way of life, and owned by a group of people who inherit it from a previous generation. Creative entity is a form of arts created through an artefact. The combination of artefact and math/ethnomatematic provides a new innovative knowledge for students. Subjects of the research were VIII grade students of SMPN I Toba who were selected randomly. Instrument utilised in the research were module, test and interview. Module is a teaching material containing ethnomatematical exploration. The module was complied by considering the material, writing, style, number of words, formating and module appearance. The findings in general showed that stdents had an improved math external representation ability. There was an increase of number of students who do real script aspect, satitic picture, written symbols, and spoken language as well. However, students, mastery of manipulative models remained constant. Math internal representation ability did not increase either, it remained good. These were concluded from the coding stages although there was no student who  fulfilled the indicator to the saving and information recalling stages.Keywords: ethnomatematic, internal representation, external representation, pythagoras theorem.

Abstract

AbstractThe abstract thing, rote and counting are the fundamental things that become the difficulties in understanding the PKn for the students. Thus it requires learning media in the form of Computer Assisted Instruction to help the students improving their skill in PKn learning process and the PKn learning result especially on the stoichiometry subject. This study aimed to produce the design, the final product, the implementation, and the result of Computer Assisted Instruction in PKn learning at kelas XII paket C di PKBM Enggang Gading Pontianak. This study was a tiered training media development study by using the development stage of Borg and Gall, with the subject of study was the class XII students consist of 25 students. The number of students who passed the test was increased in the posstest result taken after the learning process by using Computer Assisted Instruction which was showed that 80,4% students passed the test and only 50,2% students did not pass the test. It means that there were differences in learning outcomes between learning PKn by using Computer Assisted Instruction and not. Thus a tiered training media in PKnlearning could help the students to learn PKn material easily.Key Words: Pengembangan, Computer Assisted Instruction, PKn

Abstract

Abstract:The title of this thesis is "Analysis of Application of Teaching Methods by Sociology Teachers In Class X IPS 1 In SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak". The problem of this research is "How Application of Teaching Method By Sociology Teacher In Class X IPS 1 in SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak? "This research is done by descriptive research method using qualitative form. The research technique used is the technique of observation and documentation techniques with data collection tool in the form of observation and interview. The results showed that (1) what teaching method used by the teacher of sociology.From the results of research on the sociology teacher class X IPS 1 SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak, while the teaching process of teachers using teaching methods are not balanced which means that teachers in applying teaching methods using only lecture and question and answer methods only so as not to adjust to the Plan of Implementation of Learning (2) How Implementation of teaching methods by teachers of sociology on students. Implementation of teaching method by teacher of sociology at student of class X IPS 1 SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak, that is not in accordance with the purpose of learning, this is because in the process of teaching and learning the teacher does not apply the method actively which means the teacher sociology using only teaching methods lectures and methods just answer while the implementation of the learning takes place (3) the application of teaching methods by the teacher of sociology on student activities show students are less understanding and still less active at the time of learning sociology took place. This is evident from the data collected by researchers through interviews, observations and field notes show that teachers have not applied teaching methods.Keyword : Teaching Method Teachers.

Abstract

 AbstractThe purposes of this study were to determine differences of activities and learning outcomes between students were taught using Think Pair Share (TPS) Cooperative learning model and conventional method and effect of applying Think Pair Sharecooperative learning model toward learning outcomeson redox materials at X Grade of IPA SMAN 1 Sungai Raya. Quasi-experimental with nonequivalent control group design was used as research method. The samples were students X IPA 4 as control class and X IPA 2 as experimental class that were determined with random sampling technique. Activities and outcomes learning were analyzed using U-Mann Whitney. The result of data analysis showed that differences activities and learning outcomes beetwen students were taught using cooperatif learning model Think Pair Share type and conventional method. Think Pair Share cooperative learning model give effect with value of 33,89 % on increasing students learning outcomes.  Keyword: Think Pair Share, activities, learning outcomes, redox

AbstractThe purpose of this research is to know: (1) The quality category of graduate of Public Elementary School in Pemangkat Sub-district (2) Headmaster's leadership at Primary School of Pemangkat Sub-district of Sambas Regency (3) Participation category in Public Elementary School Kecamatan Pemangkat Sambas Regency (4) ) The influence of principal leadership on the quality of graduates at State Elementary School in Pemangkat Sub-district of Sambas Regency (5). The influence of public participation on the quality of graduates at the State Elementary School in Kecamatan Pemangkat Sambas Regency (6) The influence of the leadership of the principal and the participation of the community on the quality of graduates at the State Elementary School in Kecamatan Pemangkat Sambas District. Based on the above data can be summed up as follows quality of graduates in SDN Kec.Pemangkat including enough categories, leadership of headmaster in SDN Kec. Lifting is a category high, community participation on SDN in Kec.Pemangkat category high,there is a significant influence of principal's leadership on quality,graduates in SDN in Kecamatan Pemangkat 27%, there is a significant influence of public participation on the quality of,graduates in SDN in Kecamatan Pemangkat 34.8%, there is a significant effect of principal leadership and participation, community together towards the quality of graduates in SDN in Kecamatan lifting of 76.6%. Keywords: Principal Leadership, Community Participation, Graduate Quality.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to find out more about how big the influence of sex education information services to students' knowledge about sex in class VIII SMPN 1 Matan Hilir Selatan. The form of this study is the study of relationships. The sample of this research is class VIII students. Data collection techniques used is indirect kominaksi technique in the form of questionnaire amounted to 47 questions on the variables of sex education information services and 47 questions on the student's knowledge variable about sex. Based on the results of data analysis shows that sex education information service reached 90.33%. included in either category. While students' knowledge of sex reached 89.7% in either category. Based on the amount of contribution of information service of sex education to student knowledge about sex is 55.22%, it means 44.78% of students' knowledge about sex is influenced by other variables not obtained in this research. Abstract

AbstractThis study reports the finding of a classroom action research implementing Self-Monitoring Approach to Reading and Thinking (SMART) strategy to improve the students’ reading comprehension. It covered read, self-translate, troubleshoot, pinpoint and get help. Thirty-two science students of Year-11 of SMAN 1 Balai in the 2016/2017 academic year were interviewed after conduct of two Cycles over a three-month period. They were also observed while being involved to SMART strategy in the classroom. Results of this study revealed that students could experience a more interesting and meaningful learning by using this strategy. It showed the implementation of SMART strategy was successful in improving students’ ability in comprehending report text. The improvement can be seen from the increase of students’ mean score and the students’ achievement test of reading comprehension aspects from preliminary study to Cycle 2. They were also becoming highly motivated to use English more intensively while exposed to this teaching strategy. This research also proved SMART strategy could bring positive gains due to teacher’s pedagogical. Keywords: SMART, strategy, improving, reading comprehension.

Abstract

 AbstractThis research aims to determine the feasibility of e-comic on the submaterial Endocrine System in XI grade of Senior High School. The methods used in this research was descriptive research survey form. Research instrument used was sheet validation. The eligibility of  e-comic was measured through validity test by 6 validator consists of 3 person material expert validator and 3 media expert validator. The validity test of material expert covering aspects of the format, content, and language with an average of every aspect of 3.66; 3.66; and 4, while testing the validity of media expert covering aspects of simplicity, alignment, balance, form, and color with an average of every aspect of 4; 4; 3.66; 3.66; and 4. The e-comic validation result was obtained an average validation value of material was 3.77 and an average validation value of media was 3,86. It could be concluded  that e-comic was feasibility to be used as learning media on the submaterial Endocrine System in grade XI of Senior High School.Keywords: feasibility, e-comic, submaterial, endocrine system.

Abstract

AbstractThis aim of this study was to know the students response to making papaya cake laboratory work on subchapter role of plant in economy class X high school. This research used descriptive methods. Cake making laboratory work to show subchapter role of plant in economy material and than to process papaya become cake. Stop motion animation was used on papaya cake making laboratory work of grade X students MIPA 4 MAN 2 Pontianak. This Laboratory work used questionnaire to know students responses. Questionnaire responses consisted of 12 statements, 8 positive statements and 4 negative statements. The results of questionnaires response was analyzed using likert scale. The results of questionnaires response was very high category with a percentage of 87.01%. In addition, the results of the laboratory work reached 100% completeness with minimum completeness criteria 78 and the average grade cognitive value of 88.03, affective of 92.92 and psychomotor of 90.17.Keyword: Laboratory work, Respons, Questionnaire
