Abstract

Early mobilization is very important for post-Section Caesarea patients to help the process of uterine involution and lochea removal. Most of the post-Section Caesarea mothers are afraid to do early mobilization because they are afraid to feel post-Section Caesarea pain. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between early mobilization and the amount of lochia expenditure in mothers 6 hours post-Section Caesarea at Baladhika Husada Hospital. The research design used is the correlation with cross-sectional approach. The population of this study was all post-Section Caesarea mothers at Baladhika Husada Hospital. The sampling technique used is accidental sampling which was carried out from December 2019 to January 2020 with a total of 53 samples. Analysis of the data used is the chi-square test. The results of this study showed that most of the 6-hour post-SC mothers did early mobilization (54.8%) and almost half of the mothers who did early mobilization had normal lochea discharge (35.8%). The results of the analysis showed that there was a relationship between early mobilization and the amount of lochia expenditure in mothers 6 hours post-Section Caesarea (p-value 0.036). Early mobilization increases blood circulation in the uterus so that the uterus can contract properly, clamping open blood vessels and the lochia can come out smoothly. Abstract

Weight gain is an important indicator in the care of Low Birth Weight Babies (LBW), but weight gain has many inhibiting factors, including babies experiencing hypoglycemia and hypothermia. LBW needs to be given intensive care in an incubator and kangaroo method care (KMC). The purpose of this study was to analyze the differences in weight gain of LBW treated in the incubator and KMC with LBW treated in the incubator. This study used a case-control design. The population of Gambiran Hospital is 55 babies, while the population of Aura Syifa Hospital is 155 babies. A sample of 98 LBW based on a simple random sampling technique. The research sample in Gambiran Hospital received incubator and KMC treatment, while the research sample at Aura Syifa Hospital received incubator treatment. Data analysis was performed using univariate and bivariate (independent t-test). The results showed the mean weight gain of LBW with incubator treatment and KMC was 20.7 grams/day and the mean weight gain of LBW with incubator treatment alone was 7.6 grams/day. The results of the analysis showed that there were differences in the weight gain of LBW who received incubator and KMC treatment and those who received incubator treatment only. Babies treated with the KMC have a relatively normal body temperature, a regular heart rate and breathing so that their body metabolism is better. KMC can be applied to any low birth weight baby, both while in the hospital and when the baby is at home. Keywords: Low Birth Weight Babies, Incubator, Kangaroo Method Care

Abstract

Back pain is one of the discomforts of pregnant women in the form of pain that occurs in the lumbosacral area. One way to reduce discomfort is exercise during pregnancy, one of which is yoga. Yoga in pregnancy describes specific postures and techniques that are beneficial to expectant mothers and help relieve discomfort caused by bodily changes during pregnancy. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of yoga exercise on back pain for pregnant women with TM III. This literature study was obtained from searching scientific research articles from the 2010-2020 range using Google Schoolar. The results of the literature study obtained 244 articles, which after the identification, screening, and eligibility process from 244 articles there were 9 articles that matched the researcher's inclusion criteria. From these 9 journals, it can be concluded that yoga exercise is effective in reducing back pain for pregnant women with TM III. Yoga exercise can produce endorphins that trigger feelings of comfort, pleasure, and happiness produced by the central nervous system and pituitary gland, endorphins function to relieve pain because these hormones can block opioid receptors which can block pain-conducting signals. Abstract

The puerperium period is the initial period of breastfeeding and is a determinant of the success of exclusive breastfeeding, but there are still many formula feedings because breast milk does not come out immediately at the first puerperium. Rolling back massage is a method of overcoming barriers to breastfeeding at the beginning of birth, which is to speed up the timing of breastfeeding. The study aimed to analyze the effect of back massage on the timing of breastfeeding for breastfeeding mothers. This type of pre-experimental research used intact-group comparison design, a population of 30 nursing mothers, using purposive sampling technique according to inclusion criteria, research instruments using observation sheets and SOPs. Divided into 2 groups, the observation and treatment groups, the treatment group who received back massage for 2-3 minutes twice a day. The results showed that the group that was given the back massage technique had a mean value of 11 while the group that was not given a back massage had a mean value of 19. This means that those who are given a rolling back massage when breastfeeding is faster than those who are not given a rolling back massage. Analysis of the data using the Mann Whitney test obtained a p-value of 0.028 which indicates that there is an effect of rolling back massage on the timing of breastfeeding. Midwives can provide a back massage technique for mothers who do not immediately come out of breast milk at the beginning of birth, so that the time to release breast milk is faster. Abstract

Menopause is a cycle that all women will experience. During menopause, many symptoms are associated with reduced estrogen production. Menopause also affects cholesterol levels, causing an increase in LDL, which can narrow and clog arteries so that blood flow becomes blocked and consequently increases blood pressure. This study aims to determine the effect of giving pepino fruit to changes in blood pressure in postmenopausal women with primary hypertension. The design used is a pre-experiment with a one group pre test post test design. The total population is 26 postmenopausal women aged 45-60 years. This study used purposive sampling technique and obtained a sample of 21 respondents. Respondents who entered the inclusion criteria were given the treatment of giving pepino fruit for each rice to be consumed after breakfast for 7 consecutive days. The instruments used to collect data are mercury sphygmomanometer and questionnaire. The results showed that there was a decrease in systolic blood pressure by 62.5% and diastolic blood pressure by 74.2%. The results of the statistical paired t-test with a significant level of 0.05 and dk = 20 have obtained t-count > t-table (systole = 8.05> 1.72 and diastole = 8.22> 1.72) there is an effect administration of pepino fruit on changes in blood pressure in postmenopausal women with primary hypertension. Purple pepino fruit contains potassium which can lower blood pressure by blocking calcium channels. Thus, health workers are expected to pay more attention to the health of postmenopausal women by means of early detection, counseling and treatment of hypertension. Abstract

The incidence of primary postpartum hemorrhage in Indonesia is 70% caused by uterine atony. Anemia is one of the causes of uterine atony, the incidence of anemia in pregnant women in Indonesia in 2013 was 37.1% and there was an increase in 2018 to 48.9%. This study aims to analyze the relationship between low maternal hemoglobin levels and the incidence of uterine atony. This research is secondary research using a systematic study with a time limit of articles taken from 2015-to 2019. Article searches were systematically reviewed through ScienceDirect, Google Scholar, and SINTA databases. The final results were 10 articles according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Calculation of results using Meta-analysis with the help of Comprehensive Meta-Analysis (CMA) software. Comparing the odds ratio and confidence interval of Hb levels compared to the incidence of uterine atony. The results showed OR 4,966 (95% CI 3,842 – 6,418) and a p-value <0.001, so there was a relationship between hemoglobin levels of pregnant women 11gr/dL with the incidence of uterine atony. In the results of the heterogeneity test of the sample, the I-Squared result is 62.592%, which indicates the I-squared heterogeneity value is > 50% so the sample used is heterogeneous. The results showed that there was a relationship between low hemoglobin levels and the incidence of uterine atony. Regular pregnancy check-ups are needed so that pregnant women can detect hemoglobin levels as early as an indicator of anemia in pregnancy so that prevention and treatment of anemia can be carried out properly. Keywords: Hemoglobin level of pregnant women, anemia, uterine atony
