Abstract

Introduction: Recruitment is essential in human resource management because it is the first step in finding suitable employees to fill vacant positions. Managers are responsible for managing human resources, so a fair attitude is vital. Good recruitment can increase a positive image and profits for the company. This research aims to analyze the implementation and impact of employee recruitment at the Maesa Ponorogo Hotel from an Islamic economic perspective. Research Methods: The type of research used by researchers is field research, while the method used in this research is qualitative. Results: This research shows that Hotel Maesa Ponorogo places integrity and fairness as a top priority by Islamic recruitment principles so that every candidate has an equal opportunity to be assessed based on their qualifications and potential. This process affects the quality of service to customers and creates a productive and harmonious work environment for employees. Thus, Hotel Maesa Ponorogo's employee recruitment policy reflects their commitment to providing high-quality services, which strengthens the company's positive image and increases overall customer satisfaction, contributing to increased profits for Hotel Maesa.

Abstract

Chicken farming plays a role in improving the welfare of local communities in rural areas. Through a local economic development approach, chicken farming can create jobs, increase income, and contribute to regional economic growth. Business ethics is also related to norms in business activities, including establishing livestock pens. The distance between the settlement and the pen must be considered because it is related to air pollution and other environmental problems that can arise from livestock activities. This research aims to analyze the economic, environmental, and sociological impacts of poultry farming from the perspective of Islamic business ethics. The type of research used is field research using a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used include observation, interviews, and documentation. The research results show that chicken farming has an economic impact by creating jobs and increasing people's income. However, there are negative impacts on the environment, such as air pollution, which shows an imbalance in applying business ethics principles. Apart from that, the low motivation of people to raise livestock shows a lack of social responsibility in ensuring social benefits for the surrounding community.

Abstract

According to financial theory, ratios such as ROA, ROE, and EPS should reflect good financial performance if they are high. However, in practice, the high ratio value of Sido Muncul Tbk. does not always correlate with the return on shares produced. This discrepancy creates confusion among investors and analysts as to how accurately these ratios reflect the actual condition of the company. This study examines the effect of ROA, ROE, and EPS on stock returns in Sido Muncul Tbk., which is listed in JII. This study uses a quantitative research method using secondary data. Data were collected through documentation and literature studies using the quarterly reports of Sido Muncul Tbk. from 2015 to 2023. The independent variables are ROA, ROE, and EPS, while the dependent variables are stock returns. Samples were selected using the purposive sampling method. The data analysis was carried out with multiple regression analysis using SPSS version 25 software, with a significance level of 5% or 0.05. The results of this study show that ROA, ROE, and EPS individually have a significant effect on the return of Sido Muncul Tbk. shares in the 2015-2023 period. At the same time, these three variables also significantly affected the return of Sido Muncul Tbk. shares in the same period. The magnitude of the influence that can be explained by these three variables on stock returns is 23.1%.

Abstract

MSMEs are one of the main factors in encouraging national economic development, but the MSME sector in Islamic banking has fluctuated from year to year in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the influence of the macro economy on financing the MSME sector in Islamic banking in Indonesia. This study uses time series data, namely monthly data on the financial statements of Islamic Commercial Banks and data on macroeconomic variables for 2018-2022 in Indonesia. The analysis method used in this research is Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL). The results of this study indicate that this affects the financing of the MSME sector of Islamic Commercial Banks in the short-term inflation. In the long term, inflation affects the financing of the MSME sector of Islamic Commercial Banks. Other variables, namely exchange rates and unemployment, cannot affect the financing of the MSME sector of Islamic Commercial Banks.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze the influence of the work environment and work stress on employee loyalty at PT Sinar Asia Fortuna in Rembang, both partially and simultaneously. The type of research used is quantitative research. In collecting data, researchers used a questionnaire distributed to permanent employees. Meanwhile, the sample in this study was obtained from a purposive sampling technique. As for data processing and analyzing data, researchers used the classic assumption test method, multiple linear regression test, t-test, and F test. The study results showed that work environment significantly affects employee loyalty at PT Sinar Asia Fortuna in Rembang, and work stress significantly affects loyalty at PT Sinar Asia Fortuna in Rembang. Simultaneously, work environment and work stress have a significant effect on the loyalty of PT Sinar Asia Fortuna the goodness of fit from modeling of the work environment and work stress on employee loyalty is 44.8%, and other variables influence the rest.

Abstract

The Mujing Village craft business is one of the businesses operating in the creative industry in Nawangan District. A craft business is an organized business activity to produce craft products in order to make a profit and meet the needs of the craftsmen. In a business, strategic planning needs to be carried out so that the business runs well and produces income as expected. This research aims to determine the strategies for increasing craftsmen's income carried out by Mujing Village craft businesses. This type of research is field research, which collects data and information when the event occurs. The technique used by researchers is descriptive research using qualitative methods. Meanwhile, data collection techniques use interview and documentation methods. The results of the research show that 1) The strategy to increase the income of craftsmen in the Mujing Village craft business uses four indicators, namely by building quality human resources, qualified equipment, implementing good management, fairness and equality. 2) The advantages and disadvantages of implementing this strategy are the advantages such as increasing production efficiency, product competitiveness, as well as labor coordination and productivity. However, there are disadvantages such as high costs and difficulties in implementing the plan. 3) The impact of implementing this strategy is to directly increase income, improve employee welfare and encourage growth. Through implementing this strategy, the income of craftsmen in the Mujing Village craft business has increased substantially.

Abstract

Manajemen keuangan syariah merupakan sistem pengelolaan keuangan yang berdasarkan pada prinsip dan hukum Islam, yang bertujuan untuk mencapai kesejahteraan dan keadilan bagi semua pihak yang terlibat dalam transaksi keuangan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Kantor Cabang Perintis (KCP) Ponorogo yang memiliki jumlah peserta terbanyak dari rumah sakit Islam dan sektor ekonomi lainnya berlandaskan syariah. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara yang dilakukan oleh peneliti, terdapat beberapa peserta yang kesulitan dalam penggunaan aplikasi Jamsostek Mobile (JMO) dimana digunakan mulai dari pendaftaran peserta hingga proses klaim, masih banyaknya peserta yang belum mengetahui bagaimana pengelolaan dana pada BPJS Ketenagakerjaan dan adanya beberapa kendala yang mengakibatkan keterlambatan pencairan klaim oleh peserta. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa BPJS Ketenagakerjaan KCP Ponorogo tidak mengelola dana jaminan sendiri, melainkan disalurkan ke BPJS Ketenagakerjaan pusat, dan bertugas untuk mengumpulkan iuran dana jaminan, menyetorkan dana jaminan ke kantor pusat dan melakukan pembayaran klaim pada peserta. Pengelolaan dana jaminan pada BPJS Ketenagakerjaan KCP ponorogo telah sesuai dengan prinsip manajemen keuangan, namun pada dalam manajemen keuangan syariah masih terdapat unsur riba dikarenakan instrument investasi yang dipakai masih berupa investasi konvensional dan juga bekerja sama dengan bank konvensional sehingga terdapat adanya penambahan dana atau bunga.

Abstract

Poverty has, until now, become an endless issue when discussed. This study aims to test and analyze several macroeconomic variables in the form of GRDP, open unemployment, minimum wage, and human development index about the poverty rate in seventeen districts in East Java with the highest poverty rate. By using panel data regression analysis and Eviews as the analysis tool, the results showed that partially only HDI had a significant effect on poverty. In contrast, the other three dependent variables showed the opposite result. The regression results also showed that the influence of four variables simultaneously affected poverty. The results of this research can be a reference in determining government policies at the central and regional levels to reduce the rate of poverty in each region.

Abstract

A purchasing decision is a process of making choices by integrating knowledge used to combine knowledge and evaluating two or more alternatives. Strategy is the primary key to survival and growth; besides that, consumers are also the most critical assets for a company's survival. If a company can meet or satisfy the desires of consumers, it will get loyalty from its consumers; the company is legally obliged to study marketing strategies to influence consumers to decide to buy; the purpose of this research is to identify and analyze the influence and marketing (product, price, place, promotion, people, process, and physical evidence) applied by Surya Mart and Nusantara Mart Rationally and simultaneously on consumer decisions, l. The method used in this study is Quantitative, linear regression. The results of this study are 1) from the results of the quantitative test, the product sig value is 0.00, price 0.00, promotion 0.00, people 0.01, process 0.00, physical evidence 0.00, all of which are <0.05, which means that six marketing strategies have a significant effect on consumer decisions and only one is less effective in influencing place<0.05. Meanwhile, the simultaneous test results were 0.00<0.05, which means that marketing strategies (marketing (products, prices, places, promotions, people, processes, and physical evidence) simultaneously positively affect consumer decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent of the influence of workload and work stress on employee performance at PT Murfa Surya Mahardika Makassar. This research is quantitative in nature using an associative approach. The population of this study consisted of 32 employees of PT Murfa Surya Mahardika Makassar. The sample used in this study was a saturated sample, so the entire population was used as a sample. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it is found that the workload variable (X1) has a positive and significant effect partially on employee performance (Y). The work stress variable (X2) has a partially negative and significant effect on employee performance (Y). Workload variables (X1) and work stress (X2) have a simultaneous positive and significant effect on employee performance (Y), which affects employee performance by 51.2% with other variables not studied affecting the remaining 48.8%.
