Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of mean years of schooling, per capita expenditure, and unemployment on the human development index in districts/cities of East Java province in 2017-2021. The research method used is a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. Amount observations in this study is as many as 190 consisting of 38 districts/cities. The method of analysis of this study uses panel data regression analysis and significance test with the help of E-views 12. The results of this study explain that (1) Variable Mean Years of Schooling has a negative and significant effect on HDI. (2) The Per Capita Expenditure Variable has a negative and significant effect on HDI. (3) Unemployment variable has a negative and significant effect on HDI. (4) Variables Mean Years of Schooling, Expenditure Per Capita, and Unemployment simultaneously have a significant effect on HDI

Abstract

The Lazada application is a Singapore private Marketplace application founded by Rocket Internet in 2011. Lazada is an online shopping center that offers various types of products. The decision to purchase has several considerations regarding product quality, price, place, and promotions offered. This purchase decision stage is an evaluation stage by consumers to buy the preferred product brand. This quantitative research aims to answer whether there is a positive influence between product quality, price, and promotion on purchasing decisions on the Lazada Marketplace. To test and analyze Product Quality, Price, and Promotion on consumer purchasing decisions on the Lazada Marketplace. The research method used is quantitative by collecting primary data through the survey method by distributing questionnaires to 100 Ponorogo students. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression. Hypothesis testing is done by statistical tests, namely the t-test (partial) and the F-test (simultaneous). The results of this study are based on the partial test (t-test) showing that the product quality variable has a positive effect on purchasing decisions. This can be seen from the t count of 2.250 with a sig value of 0.027. Based on the partial test (t-test) shows that the price variable has a positive effect on purchasing decisions on the Lazada Marketplace. This can be seen from the t count of 2.428 with a sig value of 0.017. Based on the partial test (t-test) shows that the promotion variable has a positive effect on purchasing decisions on the Lazada Marketplace. This can be seen from the t count of 3.198 with a sig value of 0.002. The F test results show that the variable product quality, price, and promotion positively and significantly influence purchasing decisions on the Lazada Marketplace. This can be seen from the acquisition of F count 37.264 with a sig value of 0.000.

Abstract

Conflict is common in everyday life, including business. Conflicts occur between franchisors and franchisees in the Roti Bakar Gandaria Magetan franchise. Conflicts arise due to policies that need to be carried out correctly and services that are not optimal. For this reason, this study was conducted to determine how conflict management was carried out by the Roti Bakar Gandaria franchise head and its impact. The method used in this study is qualitative, with data collection techniques in the form of interviews and conservation with franchisors and franchisees who experience conflict. The data analysis technique used is a deductive analysis that departs from general to specific by looking at the theory and then colliding with actual conditions. The results of this study show that the conflict in the Gandaria Toast franchise is constructive-horizontal. The leading cause of conflict is poor communication between franchisors and franchisees. The strategies to resolve conflicts are Collaboration Strategy, Competitive Strategy (competing), and Accommodative Strategy. The impact after the franchisor issues a policy to the franchisee is the resolution of the conflict, even though the franchisee is dissatisfied because the decision issued is considered inappropriate.

Abstract

Introduction: The information obtained through the study of financial statements can be used to describe a company's performance. Investors need the results of financial statement analysis as a basis for making investment decisions because stock price movements can be seen by observing them. The share price, according to theory, will fall as the value of DAR increases. Meanwhile, if the CR and NPM values increase, the stock price will increase. However, after collecting research data, it was found that there was a discrepancy in data facts according to theory. Research Methods: This study adopts a quantitative associative research methodology. In the sampling technique, a purposive sampling technique was used, and four telecommunications businesses were taken as samples. By using MS Excel 2010 and Eviews 9 software, the research approach uses panel data analysis, starting with evaluating panel data estimation methods and continuing with selecting panel data regression models, testing classical assumptions, and testing hypotheses. Results: Based on the research above, it was found that the best estimation model chosen was the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). Furthermore, using the best choice model, classical assumption testing is carried out and the result is that the classical assumption obligation has been fulfilled. Conclusion: The results of this study, partially DAR has no significant effect on stock prices, CR has a significant effect on stock prices, and NPM has a significant effect on stock prices. Meanwhile, DAR, CR and NPM simultaneously have a significant influence on the stock prices of Indonesian telecommunications companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2017 to 2021.

Abstract

The enthusiasm of Muslims in Indonesia in carrying out Hajj from year to year has significantly increased the number of pilgrims. It is recorded that the number of pilgrims who will depart in 2023 is 221,000 people, consisting of 203,320 regular quota pilgrims and 17,680 special quota pilgrims. From the data details, the existence of KBIHU (Hajj and Umrah Guidance Group) Al Mabrur Multazam Banyuwangi is needed to create pilgrim satisfaction from the quality of services provided. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, where writing provides an overview and presents data using interviews, observation, and research documentation techniques. The results of the research can be concluded that, in general, the quality of Hajj and Umrah services provided by KBIHU Al Mabrur Multazam Banyuwangi has been carried out well because it carries out the dimensions of service quality, namely Compliance with Islamic Sharia (Sharia Compliance), Assurance (Assurance), Reliability (Reliability), Physical Evidence (Tangible), Attention (Empathy), and Responsiveness (Responsiveness). However, it is necessary to add mentors to provide maximum service and positively impact service quality on pilgrim satisfaction.

Abstract

Effective utilization of human resources is a way for a company to maintain its survival and growth in the future. One way that can improve employee performance is by providing work motivation and conditioning the work environment. However, in reality, employees still lack discipline and their work productivity decreases. The problems studied in this study are how the motivation techniques and conditioning of the work environment are carried out, the obstacles faced, and the impact on improving employee performance at BMT Amanah Mandiri Purwantoro. In this study, the author used a type of field research with a qualitative approach. This study uses data collection methods carried out at the place where the phenomenon occurs, ranging from observation, interviews, and documentation. From the results of the research that the author conducted, it can be concluded that the motivation and conditioning techniques of the work environment provided are in accordance with the theory used starting from providing salaries, providing health guarantees, and also respecting and respecting each other. However, there are still some things that are still lacking, namely emotional changes in themselves, the condition of the building is less extensive, the provision of incentives received by employees is still not in accordance with their needs, and also the level of discipline that is still low both in the accuracy of entering work and completing work in accordance with the predetermined time.

Abstract

Introduction: UMKM is the most strategic sector of the national economy and concerns the lives of many people so that they become the backbone of the national economy. Such is the case with UMKM in Kajang Village, Sawahan District, Madiun Regency, which makes UMKM an effort to improve welfare. Research Methods: The research method used is a qualitative descriptive research method which is a problem-solving procedure by describing circumstances based on facts that appear as they are. Results: The existence of UMKM can provide benefits to the community supported by an increase in the number of UMKM in Kajang Village and can improve the quality of human resources which are expected to have many new innovations able to meet the four benchmarks of community welfare and also the three levels of sharia maqasid. The obstacles faced come from internal factors and external factors. Conclusion: UMKM in Kajang Village has a very important role in the community which is able to open new job opportunities. The people of Kajang Village have met all four indicators, namely income, residential housing, education, and health. In the analysis of maqāṣid syarī'ah, the people of Kajang Village have fulfilled three levels, namely dharuiriyyah, hajiyyah, and tahsiniyyah.

Abstract

Along with the times, competition between organizations is getting tougher. As a competitor, every organization wants to be the best of other organizations. This situation will require every organization to measure the organization's operations or programs, known as effectiveness. Holding a training and development program is hoped to maintain and increase the effectiveness of the organization in achieving its goals. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness and impact of implementing training and development programs in improving the quality of human resources at LKP Saraswati Ponorogo. This study uses a type of field research with a qualitative approach. Data collection was done through interviews and observation. Data processing techniques are used by exposing, sorting, and drawing conclusions. Data analysis techniques include reduction, presentation, and conclusions. They are checking the validity of the data using triangulation techniques. The resource persons in this study were leaders from LKP Saraswati, administration, and training participants. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of training and development programs at the Saraswati Ponorogo Course and Training Institute to improve the quality of human resources has been quite effective. However, using time is less effective because some still need to finish their training period. The impact of the results of the implementation of this training and development program in terms of the knowledge of the participants has increased, and the abilities possessed by the participants have also increased, but there are still skills that could be improved.

Abstract

Development is a continuous improvement process in society and its social system towards a better standard of living. Development is a change in the level of welfare that is measurable and occurs naturally. The changes affect not only one aspect of life but also fundamental aspects. Changes can be seen in the economic status of the people in the area, like the construction of a higher education institution in a place that will impact changes in its surroundings. The changes that occur are not only the hustle and bustle of activities but also changes in the economic field of the surrounding community because other developments around it will also follow the construction of a higher education institution. So that The main objective of this research is to find out how the influence of the development of higher education institutions has on the economy of the surrounding community. The changes brought about by the establishment of a tertiary institution certainly have an impact on the lives of the surrounding community. The impact in question is an impact that can improve the lives of the surrounding community, especially in the economic sector. The most obvious change is that in the area around the campus, many business establishments have been established, such as boarding houses, restaurants, shops, workshops, laundries, photocopiers, and so on. Establishing these businesses will open up many job opportunities for the community so that the community's economy will also improve. This research is expected to contribute to the development of economic development theory and can be helpful suggestions and references for future research.

Abstract

The City of Madiun is one of the areas with quite a large potential for Regional Original Income, where one of the most significant potentials comes from parking fees; this sector is a primary source of revenue. The method and type of approach used in this research is to use a qualitative research method with a descriptive type. Two data are used in this study, namely primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques used by researchers are interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study show that the implementation of the Madiun extensive market parking fee policy has yet to be fully optimal, as seen from the retribution revenues in the big market that do not reach the specified target. According to George C. Edwards III, several indicators of policy implementation still need to be appropriate, including indicators of Resources and Disposition. The presence of illegal parking officers causes obstacles to the implementation of the parking levy policy, the levy rates not by the established policies, the limited number of Human Resources (HR), and the lack of public awareness and supporting factors for the implementation of the market parking levy policy is the existence of communication from the Department of Trade as the implementor of this policy by collaborating with inter-agencies, namely Satpol PP, parking managers, and parking officers in the joint operations carried out.
