Abstract

Seeing the rapid development of the construction world, as part of the Indonesian economy, we need to support the growth of various facilities and infrastructure. In its growth, it must also improve its quality in all respects. In this case, material management plays an essential role in the construction process. The method chosen for this problem is the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. The most economical amount of inventory can be determined by calculating the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. This economical amount of stock can invest embedded in inventory materials, not excessive, so that it does not experience waste.

Abstract

Earthwork on the Medical Building Construction Project Phase 2 of Siti Khodijah Muhammadiyah Hospital Along Branch is one of the main keys to withstand the building's resilience structure. This Building Construction Project has obstacles to the ongoing excavation and Mgrading work, tools that need to be improved, and less supportive terrain conditions. As a result, the completion of work may be delayed leading to cost overruns. Therefore, the need for an active role of management, especially productivity calculations, to determine fundamental change steps so that these obstacles can be avoided or reduced. To analyze the machine's productivity, it must be by the theory of machine productivity related to the subject matter obtained and the appropriate stages of analysis. Thus, machine planning must be carried out carefully and precisely so that the effectiveness of optimal machine use and time can be achieved by calculating the productivity value of the machine. Based on the data analysis, the results of heavy equipment needs were obtained, namely, two units of excavated excavators, five units of dump trucks, and two units of Mgrading excavators. Abstract

Water control technology aims to provide a sufficient water supply to avoid overflow. An automatic valve sluice gate made from fiberglass is preferred for water control in tidal agriculture. The mechanical valve sluice gate model can automatically release and close water discharge at a precise angle to optimize water control in tidal agriculture. The advantage of this sluice gate design is its utilization of the difference between upstream and downstream water levels on the sluice gate. A sluice gate design with a slope angle of 15 ° is recommended for tidal agriculture. The upstream water level should reach a height of 1.67 m for the sluice gate to open, while the downstream side should be at 0.82 m. The sluice gate will automatically open if the water level difference is 0.85 m in height and close if there is no water level difference. It is known that the flood level from the ground is 1 m to 2 m. It is suggested to elevate the land to prevent flooding for residents.

Abstract

The Parte Club Surabaya Building Renovation Project has encountered various problems. These issues arise from multiple factors, primarily due to the complex nature of the structure as it involves renovating an old building. This research aims to identify the dominant risks and allocate the responsibility for managing these risks to the most appropriate party involved. Quantitative research methods were employed for this study. The sample consisted of 18 individuals, including expert staff from the implementing contractor and supervisory consultant. Data collection involved primary data obtained through purposive sampling, with 18 respondents selected. Secondary data included a review of previous similar research literature studies and historical data from earlier projects with similarities. The results of the data processing stage indicated the presence of dominant risks during project implementation and risk allocation. Consequently, project implementation is susceptible to risks identified by analyzing 27 selected risk variables. Six risk variables were dominant in project implementation: construction changes, additional expenses (overheads), project delays, material damage/loss, design errors, and changes to the work schedule. Risk allocation assessment results indicated that 19 risks were allocated to contractors, 3 to owners, and 5 jointly between the owner and contractor (shared). The percentage distribution of risk allocation is as follows: 70% to the contractor, 11% to the owner, and 19% allocated jointly (shared) between the two parties.
