Abstract

Efforts to prevent the transmission of Covid-19 are not only sufficient by implementing health protocols. Need increase immunity to prevent Covid-19 such as consuming vegetables. Urban farming is a solution for people in urban areas to take advantage of the minimal yards by growing vegetables. The urban farming program is a planting program in urban areas using minimal land. Pandemic situation requires community to implement health protocol, which one is reduce mobility. This restriction has impact on decrease of market operation as a place to buy vegetables, as well as the prices of staple during pandemic can exacerbating this situation. This study aims to determine the relationship between attitudes and knowledge of the people in the Tanah Baru Depok. This study is a cross sectional study with 32 respondents taken by total sampling. Data were collected using online questionnaire given to respondent. Data analysis in this study used the chi square test. The results showed that there was a relationship between people's attitudes towards the urban farming program during the Covid-19 pandemic with p value = 0.004 (p <0.05) and it was known that there was a relationship between public knowledge of the urban farming program during the pandemic with a p value of 0.000 ( p <0.05). Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to increase the extension of the urban farming program carried out by community nurses to be able to increase health education of vegetable consumption during the Covid-19 pandemic to protect families from exposure to Covid-19.

Abstract

Social restrictions policies to control Covid-19’s transmissions creates new problems. Higher stressors caused by childcare, work, financial, and health with lack access to entertainment and social support cause increasing of domestic violence. Domestic violence triggers physical and mental health problems. Nurses as health workers in community has some important roles to prevent this problems. This literature review is to describe the phenomenon of domestic violence and explain the role of nurses in reducing domestic violence during the Covid-19 pandemic. The keywords used in searching for articles are Covid-19, nurse, role, pandemic, preventing, maltreatment, and domestic violence so that 15 articles obtained and 11 articles (from 2017-2021), from several reputable online journal databases such as ClinicalKey, EBSCO, Proquest, Sage Publications, Science Direct, Scopus, SpringerLink, Taylor & Francis, and Willey Online. Articles analysis is carried out using the narrative literature review methods. ommunity nurses play important roles as care providers, educators, managers, collaborators, advocates, and leaders, to prevent domestic violence during pandemic. Community nurses in preventing domestic violence experience several obstacles, such as lack of home visit due to the pandemic, a lack of understanding of community nurses about domestic violence, and the community's perception that violence is the family’s privacy.

Abstract

Maintaining body immunity throughout the COVID-19 pandemic is one of the efforts to protect the body in opposition to disease. Adequate physical exercise is very necessary to prevent the body from attacking disease. This literature review objectives to determine the advantages of physical exercise to expand body immunity for the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic. This study uses a literature review. Literature searches were collected using online database such as Science Direct, Springer Link, Wiley online Library, SAGE publication, NCBI and Google Scholar so that 12 articles were used in this literature review that published from 2019-2021. These articles are then analyzed by narrative literature review. Studies exhibit that moderate physical exercise can enhance body immunity and respiratory function. Moderate types of physical exercise such as aerobics can increasing the immunity by using the increasing the degree and function of T-lymphocytes, immunoglobulins, mainly Ig A and Ig G, regulating C-reactive protein levels to prevent limit lung feature and extend the vital capacity of the lungs. Regular physical workout of moderate intensity has been proven to extensively affect the immune system and reduce the threat of infection disease.

Abstract

Elderly experience decreased body function causing them to experience deficit in self-care. Self-care deficit: Bathing is caused by several factors including pain and physical weakness. The purpose of this study was to describe the problem of pain and physical weakness in the elderly who experience a Self-Care Deficit: Bathing in Balok Village, Kendal District. This research design is a descriptive study of quantitative research type with a survey approach. The sample in this study amounted to 52 respondents with a total sampling technique. Measuring instruments in the form of a questionnaire Numerical Rating Scale (NRS) for pain and a Fatique Assessment Scale (FAS) for fatigue and that has been standard. Data analysis using univariate. The results showed that the pain in the elderly with Self-Care Deficits: Bathing was painless 16 (30.8%), mild pain 11 (21.2%) moderate pain 19 (36.5%) and severe pain 6 (11.3%). Physical weakness in the elderly: not fatique or normal 47 (90.4%) fatique 5 (9.6%).

Abstract

Data from the Indramayu Police Station in 2018 reported that there were 107,968 traffic accidents with the number of victims of 29,083 died. Victims of traffic accidents were 2,546 aged 0-4 years. The high number of traffic accidents occurs due to poor attitudes and behavior in the aspect of safe driving attitude. Many parents do not require their children to wear helmets or other safety gear when dropping off or picking up their children from school. Although children are extremely vulnerable to serious injuries if a traffic accident occurs. The aims of this study was to investigate the effect of implementing safety riding for kids on the attitudes and behavior towards safety riding behavior in kindergarten students. There were 36 students recruited in intervention group and 47 students in the control group. This study used a quasi-experimental type of research. Data were collected using a questionnaire. Pretest was done before giving treatment, postest data was taken after 3 months of treatment, data analysis of this research used Wilcoxon test.The results found that in the intervention group there were differences in attitudes and behaviors about safety riding before and after intervention with a p-value of 0,005 and 0,000, respectively. In the control group, there were no differences in attitudes and behaviors about safety riding with a p-value of 0,231 and 0,074, respectively. There is an effect of the implementation of safety riding for kids on the attitudes and behavior about safety riding with a p-value of 0,000. There is effect of the application of safety riding for kids on the attitudes and behavior of kindergarten students in Indramayu Regency.

Abstract

Whitewater rafting is a high-risk adventure tourism sport and frequently causes traumatic injuries due to a lack of safety culture implementation. The research aims to know the safety culture in first aid of wound injuries among guide in Ayung River. This was a descriptive study with a quantitative and cross-sectional approach enrolling 140 participants that selected by proportional random sampling technique with inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data was analysed using univariate analysis with frequency distribution. Based on five characteristics of safety culture, the majority of whitewater rafting guide had a good level of value in four categories. Safety culture in whitewater rafting well implemented by guide in Ayung River.

Abstract

People with mental disorders are the official designation for mental disorders based on mental health law number 18 of 2014. Mental disorders have not fully attained good behavior and fulfilled human rights needs, the government provides protection and guarantees mental health services for people. with mental disorders based on human rights. The research objective is known to in-depth analyze the management people with mental disorders in the community in 2020. This type of research is qualitative and the results of the research are presented in a descriptive way. Subjects or informants were taken by purposive sampling. Informants in this study were as many is 7 people. Data collection techniques using in-depth interviews and observations. Based conducted in-depth interviews with 7 informants, there are 3 factors that influence the management of , namely (objective, subjective, iatrogenic burden). And it is known that the institutions involved in the implementation of the protection of the rights of health services are (Health Service, Social Service, Hospitals and Puskesmas). The rights of health services can be fulfilled maximally by the existence of cooperation between related institutions that complement each other.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has impacted all sectors of life and all walks of life. The education sector is one of the most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Lectures during the pandemic using distance learning / online. The research design used a quasi experiment with a pre post test without a control group. The number of samples is 163 students in Kendal Regency with purposive sampling technique. The research data was collected using the Depression Anxiety and Stress Scale 21 (DASS 21) questionnaire. The research location is in Kendal Regency. The age of the youngest respondent is 18 years and the oldest is 50 years, the majority are female as many as 148 respondents (90.8 %), There is an effect of providing progressive muscle relaxation technique intervention on reducing stress levels with p value 0.000 (p < 0.05). Prompt treatment using the right way will help deal with stress. Unresolved stress will have an impact on health and productivity in life. Progressive muscle relaxation techniques can be used to reduce stress levels and relieve stress.

Abstract

Cardiac arrest is one of the emergency cases that requires immediate treatment. The Out of the Hospital Cardiac Arrest (OHCA) can happen anytime and everywhere with or without any sign. During a pandemic, OHCA often occurs at home and the patient have been found by family members as witness. unfortunately, based on the data The survival rate for patients with OHCA during the pandemic has decreased. There are several factors that cause this to happen, one of which is a decrease in bystander in performing CPR on patients. Bystander's willingness to perform CPR plays an important role in the chain of survival of patients with OHCA which affects patient outcomes. Based on this, a study was conducted on the willingness of bystander to perform CPR to the patient with out of hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) during the pandemic covid 19. This research method is a literature review sourced from research journals conducted in 2019 to 2021 about the willingness of bystanders to perform CPR during the pandemic. The results seven journals that have been analysed show that most of the bystanders are willing to perform CPR with various conditions including Perform hands only CPR and if Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is Avalaible. There are several conditions that cause the CPR bystander not to be willing to perform CPR, such as the fear of being infected, the absence of PPE and the victim is a stranger or unfamiliar person for bystander. Conclusion the willingness of bystanders to perform CPR on OHCA victims during the pandemic is still high, bystander perform hands only CPR and using PPE during the intervention.
