Abstract

Nausea and vomiting usually occur in the morning, but some occur at any time of the day and occur as a result of changes in the endocrine system that occur during pregnancy, especially the increase in the hormone hCG in pregnancy. Data in Indonesia 50% to 80% of pregnant women experience nausea and vomiting and approximately 5% of pregnant women require treatment for fluid replacement and correction of electrolyte imbalances. One of the non-pharmacological therapies to treat nausea and vomiting is acupressure at the point of the Pericardium 6 (P6). The stimulatory effect at this point can increase the release of beta-endorphins in the pituitary and adrenocorticotropic (ACTH) along the chemoreceptor tringger zone (CTZ) which can inhibit the vomiting center. Based on the results of interviews conducted with pregnant women, they said that they had never heard the term pericardium 6 and also did not know the benefits of this action. Therefore, it is necessary to increase knowledge in an effort to reduce nausea and vomiting in pregnant women in the first trimester. Activities carried out in this community service are acupressure at the point of pericardium 6 in trimester I pregnant women. This activity aims to reduce the intensity of nausea and vomiting experienced by the mother. trimester I pregnancy. The result of this activity is that there is a change in the intensity of nausea and vomiting that is felt by trimester I pregnant women after acupressure is carried out at the pericardium point 6

Abstract

Kesehatan gigi dan mulut adalah salah satu masalah kesehatan yang membutuhkan penanganan yang berkesinambungan karena memiliki dampak yang sangat luas, sehingga perlu penanganan khusus sebelum terlambat. Ketepatan dalam menggosok gigi adalah hal terpenting dalam merawat gigi. Tujuan PKM ini adalah memberi motivasi kepada siswa TK RA Hasbunah tentang pentingnya melakukan PHBS dan Cara Menggosok Gigi yang Baik dan Benar. Kegiatan PKM ini dilakukan dengan metode penyuluhan kesehatan dengan menggunakan media alat peraga kepada siswa TK RA Hasbunah di desa Joring Natobang berjumlah 25 orang. Hasil dari kegiatan penyuluhan ini dilanjutkan dengan memberikan evaluasi kedapa siswa yaitu tanya jawab seputar materi PHBS dan cara menggosok gigi yang baik dan benar. Siswa dapat menjawab dan menjelaskan dengan baik pertanyaan yang diajukan oleh sipenyuluh. Kegiatan PKM yang dilaksanakan berjalan dengan baiksiswa TK RA Hasbunah di desa Joring Natobang yang mengikuti terlihat bersemangat dan antusias dalam mengikuti kegiatan. Dental and oral health is one of the health problems that require continuous handling because it has a very broad impact, so it needs special treatment before it's too late. Accuracy in brushing your teeth is the most important thing in taking care of your teeth. The purpose of this PKM is to motivate kindergarten students RA Hasbunah about the importance of doing PHBS and How to Brush Teeth Properly and Correctly. This PKM activity is carried out by health extension method by using the medium of props to kindergarten students RA Hasbunah in Joring Natobang village numbering 25 people. The results of this extension activity are continued by providing an evaluation of how students are question and answer about PHBS material and how to brush their teeth properly and correctly. Students can answer and explain well the questions asked by sipenyuluh. PKM activities that were carried out went well, kindergarten RA Hasbunah in Joring Natobang village who followed looked excited and enthusiastic in participating in the activities.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Berdasarkan Data yang diperoleh dari Profil Kesehatan Indonesia 2020, dari 28.158 kematian balita, 72,0% (20.266 kematian) diantaranya terjadi pada masa neonatus. Dari seluruh kematian neonatus yang dilaporkan, 72,0% (20.266 kematian) terjadi pada usia 0-28 hari. Sementara, 19,1% (5.386 kematian) terjadi pada usia 29 hari – 11 bulan dan 9,9% (2.506 kematian) terjadi pada usia 12 – 59 bulan. Pada tahun 2020, penyebab kematian neonatal terbanyak adalah kondisi berat badan lahir rendah (BBLR). Penyebab kematian lainnya di antaranya asfiksia, infeksi, kelainan kongenital, tetanus neonatorium, dan lainnya. Berdasarkan hal tersebut tim pengabdian masyarakat mengadakan penyuluhan tentang pentingnya imunisasi dasar lengkap bagi bayi. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah, diskusi dan tanya jawab. Pelaksanaan Penyuluhan Imunisasi Dasar dilaksanakan di Posyandu Desa Desa Sigumuru pada bulan Desember 2021. Penyuluhan ini diikuti oleh 25 peserta yang terdiri dari ibu balita, kader, bidan desa dan mahasiswa. Seluruh peserta antusias dalam mengikuti penyuluhan, hal ini dibuktikan dengan banyaknya peserta yang bertanya saat sesi tanya jawab. Pemberian kuesioner dilakukan sebagai bentuk evaluasi pengetahuan ibu bayi tentang pentingnya imunisasi dasar lengkap, di peroleh hasil sebelum pemberian penyuluhan rata-rata tingkat pengetahuan ibu sebesar 58,96% dan setelah diberikan penyuluhan menjadi 80,68%. Setelah diadakan penyuluhan tentang imunisasi dasar lengkap diharapkan peserta yang mengikuti benar-benar mengerti dan menyebarluaskan informasi yang diterima kepada warga lain. Based on this, the community service team held counseling about the importance of complete basic immunization for infants. The method used is lecture, discussion and question and answer. The implementation of Basic Immunization Counseling will be held at the Posyandu in Sigumuru Village in December 2021. This counseling was attended by 25 participants consisting of mothers of toddlers, cadres, village midwives and students. All participants were enthusiastic in participating in the counseling, this was evidenced by the large number of participants who asked questions during the question and answer session. The questionnaire was administered as a form of evaluation of the mother's knowledge of the importance of complete basic immunization, the results obtained before giving counseling the average level of mother's knowledge was 58.96% and after being given counseling it became 80.68%. After the counseling on complete basic immunization is held, it is hoped that the participants who follow really understand and disseminate the information received to other residents. Abstract

The Siharang-Karang Swimming Pool is one of the most visited pools by the people of Padangsidimpuan, especially on weekends. The large number of visitors in this swimming pool causes a very high risk of drowning victims. There are 4 pool guard officers who are on duty every day to monitor the activities in the pool, and help if there is a problem at the pool location, for example a drowning victim. Because it is necessary to carry out activities in the form of socialization of first aid to drowning victims for pool guard officers. The treatment for the drowning victim at the scene includes rescuing the victim from water, giving breath assistance, chest compressions, clearing vomit that allows obstruction of the airway, preventing heat loss and transportation of the victim to the nearest emergency facility for evaluation and monitoring. This activity provides provisions and trains pool guard officers to have good skills in providing first aid in an emergency situation of drowning victims. With this training, it is hoped that it will increase the safety rate for emergency victims because they receive proper first aid before arriving at the health service and receive further treatment.

Abstract

The year 2020 was an extraordinary year for Indonesia and even the whole world since the discovery of cases of pneumonia with unknown causes in Wuhan City, China. The Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) pandemic that has occurred has caused disruption in various fields, one of which is in the fields of health and education. The first two cases of COVID-19 in Indonesia were found on March 2, 2020 in Depok, West Java. The number of COVID-19 cases in Indonesia continued to rise until at the end of March confirmed cases reached 1,414 cases. This prompted President Joko Widodo to declare a public health emergency and order the police to implement large-scale social restrictions (PSBB) in all regions in Indonesia. In order to support the sustainability of the community's economy, each region needs to urge the public to face the state of preparation for the New Habit Adaptation (IMR) according to the level of vigilance at the district/city level for the prevention and control of COVID-19. Adaptation of new habits (IMR) is very important to be socialized to the community, especially to elementary school children before school holidays, because children will definitely go on vacation and play which will cause the Covid 19 virus to move from one to another.

Abstract

The corona pandemic has now hit 216 countries. The total number of positive cases of Covid-19 worldwide until February 2021 was 109 million. Data on the development of Covid-19 in North Sumatra until February 2021, there were 22,865 positive corona patients with 781 cases of dead patients and 19,641 recovered patients. School is a very effective place in order to improve the health status of the community. The purpose of community service is to aim for elementary school students to increase awareness and ability to wash their hands with soap for 20 seconds during school holidays as protection to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Socialization is carried out using posters. The population and sample of this service are elementary school students with a total of 30 people. The results of this community service were enthusiastically received by elementary school students in class at SD Negeri No. 200308 Padangsidimpuan City as seen from the number of elementary school students who asked about information about covid-19, the spread of covid-19 and how to wash hands with soap for 20 seconds correctly in everyday life. It is recommended that socialization activities to increase awareness and ability to wash hands with soap for 20 seconds during school holidays can be carried out regularly with a more frequent frequency and the range of information dissemination can also be expanded to families of elementary school students in general so that everyone, families and communities better know, understand and be able to practice efforts to prevent the spread of covid-19 in daily life through the movement of washing hands with soap for 20 seconds so that ultimately it can improve the health status of the community.

Abstract

Corona virus or COVID-19, the case started with pneumonia or mysterious pneumonia in December 2019. This case is suspected to be related to the Huanan animal market in Wuhan which sells various types of animal meat, including those that are not commonly consumed, for example snakes, bats, and different types of mice. Many cases of this mysterious pneumonia infection are indeed found in these animal markets. The Corona virus or COVID-19 is thought to be carried by bats and other animals that are eaten by humans until transmission occurs. Corona virus is actually no stranger to the world of animal health, but only a few types are capable of infecting humans and causing pneumonia. The purpose of community service is to increase public knowledge and awareness about Covid-19 Information and Education. The form of activities carried out was counseling on Covid-19 Information and Education at Labuhan Rasoki Baru Village in 2020. The extension activities carried out were going well by the community, the activity seemed enthusiastic in participating in counseling activities about Covid-19 information and education in Labuhan Rasoki Village. This is evidenced by the enthusiasm of the community carrying out activities regularly and orderly as well as listening to counseling about Covid-19 information and education. And handwashing counseling activities, providing information and education on Covid-19, sticking banners and photos together by the activity committee and the community.

Laporan mempunyai peranan yang penting pada suatu organisasi,karena dalam suatu organisasi hubungan antara atasan dan bawahan merupakan bagian dari keberhasilan organisasi tersebut.dengan adanya hubungan antara perseorangan dalam suatu organisasi baik yang berupa hubungan antara atasan dan bawahan,ataupun antara sesama karyawan yang terjalin baik maka akan bisa mewujudkan suatu pertanggung jawaban terlaksana secara efektif dan efisien.Kerja sama antara atasa dan bawahan bisa dilakukan melalui komunikasi,baik komunikasi yang berbentuk lisan maupun tulisa(laporan).agar laporan tersebut bisa diterima dengan baik maka syarat-syarat yang perlu dipenuhi demi terbentuknya laporan yang baik harus diprhatikan.maka seseorang perlu mengetahui secara baik bagaiman pembuatan format laporan yang bagus.sehingga dengan laporan yang terformat bagus akan bisa bermanfaat baik dalam komunikasi maupun dalam mencapai tujuan organisasi.

Abstract

Failure in the breastfeeding process is often caused by the emergence of several problems, both in terms of problems for the mother and the baby. For some mothers who do not understand this problem, breastfeeding failure is often considered a problem for children only. One of the factors that cause the lack of breastfeeding is less milk production. Many factors that cause the smoothness of breastfeeding are less, namely problems for mothers and babies. Problems in the mother are inverted nipples, mastitis or breast abscess, swollen breasts, and sore nipples. In infants, it is generally an error in lactation management, which causes a decrease in milk production (lack of milk syndrome). Papaya leaves contain alkaloids that are useful for nursing mothers in facilitating breast milk. Because the content can stimulate the production of breast milk. This activity aims to provide knowledge to Breastfeeding Mothers in Purba Tua Village, Southeast Padangsidimpuan District, about the benefits of papaya leaves as a breast milk launcher, provide understanding of mothers in breastfeeding and provide training on making instant sweet papaya leaf powder as an effort to facilitate breastfeeding. This community service activity plan uses counseling methods to socialize the benefits of papaya leaves, then training on making papaya leaf sweet instant powder, as well as an evaluation stage regarding processing efficiency of papaya leaf sweet instant powder and sedu drinks.

Abstract

Menua merupakan masa perubahan yang dialami individu baik fisik maupun psikologi akibat penurunan fungsi tubuh. Hal ini akan mempengaruhi berbagai aspek kehidupan di usia lanjut. Sehingga memerlukan pemeliharaan yang berbeda dengan usia anak-anak, remaja, maupun dewasa yang membutuhkan dukungan dari orang di sekitarnya. Pengobatan gratis ini dilakukan di desa desa simatohir kecamatan kecamatan padangsidimpuan angkola julu. Pengobatan yang dilakukan berupa pengukuran tekanan darah, cek kolestrol, cek asam urat dan cek gula darah selain itu di sampaikan juga bagaimana pola hidup sehat pada lansia. Kegiatan penyuluhan ini berlangsung selama 120 menit ini dilaksanakan di desa desa simatohir kecamatan kecamatan padangsidimpuan angkola julu. Adapun tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk memriksakan kesehatan masyarakat terutama lansia. Penyuluhan berupa presentase, pemberian poster, melakukan kegiatan pemeriksaan kesehatan seperti mengukur tekanan darah, cek gula darah, cek kolestrol dan cek asam urat. Jumlah peserta kegiatan berjumlah 43 orang. Hasil dari kegiatan penyuluhan ini lansia sadar akan pentingnya melakukan pemeriksaan kesehatan terutama pengukuran tekanan darah, cek gula darah, cek kolestrol dan cek asam urat. Dari hasil kegiatan di dapatkan bahwa sebelum melakukan penyuluhan beberapa lansia ingin memeriksakan kesehatan tetapi kareja jarak dari desa ke fasilitas pelayanan jauh para lansia tersebut hanya minum obat di warung untuk mengurasi rasa sakit. Kegiatan penyuluhan yang dilaksanakan berjalan dengan baik, kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di desa simatohir yang berada wilayah kerja Puskesmas Pokenjior. Diharapkan kepada masyarakat terutama lansia sudah mengetahui manfaat dari kegaiatan dilakukannya pemeriksaan kesehatan dan akan melakukan kunjungan serta pemeriksaan kesehatan pada bulan berikutnya.
