Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the effect of learning with the method of recitation of student learning outcomes sociology subjects class XI IPS SMA Negeri 5 Pontianak. Form of quasi experimental research (quasy experimental research). The sample of this research are 74 students, 37 students of experimental group (XI IPS 1) and 37 students of Control group (XI IPS 2). Technique of collecting data of direct observation, indirect communication, documenter study and data collection tool in the form of observation and multiple choice test in the form of pre-test and post test. The data obtained in the pre-test obtained average in experimental class 70,02 and class control 70.05. on the post-test experimental class has an average of 78.32 and the control class is 74.18. Hypothesis testing using t-test (F-Test Two-Sample Assuming Equal Variances Test) in the experiment class post-test shows the statistical value t obtained is 2.400691499 and p-value 0.009474866. by using decision based on p-value, at α = 0,05 can be concluded significant value 0,05 (0,05 0.009474866) hence there is difference of result of post-test experiment class and control class hence Ho refused and Ha accepted. Based on the data obtained, the Alternative Hypothesis (Ha) is accepted.

Abstract

In the teaching and learning process of Social Sciences, many problems are carried out by the teacher. One of them is some students still rely on their teacher's activities in learning, so the role of students is still very lacking. Even thought, the teacher always involving students to play an active in learning process. In contrary, students assume that the subject of Social Sciences is very boring. So that this causes a low quality of learning in Social Sciences, especially in  SMP Negeri 21 Pontianak. This cases has tickled the writer to take the theme of research on picture and picture cooperative methods to improve the quality of learning and increase the interest and activity of students in teaching and learning activities in Social Sciences.As for the techniques used of data collection is through observation by teachers and collaborators. The research involved two cycles of 42 students. While the data analysis used description with percentage techniques. Furthermore the level of activity of students and teachers is expressed in the category of "very good", "good" or "moderate", while the success of using picture and picture cooperative methods is stated as "successful", "less successful", or "unsuccessful".The results of this reseacrh with picture and picture cooperative methods have been successful, which is showing indicated by an increase in student activity of learning because it has reached the specified criteria is 81% of students are actively involved, while teacher activities reach 86.53%, as well as student learning outcomes with a value of 78.57, where this shows that it is exceeding the KKM value of 72, with a percentage of completeness of 76%, which has exceeded the criteria of 75%.

Abstract

The title of this research is: “The Empowerment Program Model of the Poor Society in Sungai Raya Subdistrict which at Bengkayang Regency of West Borneo Province”. Background overshadow by writer desire to lay open until where program the Economic Empowerment of Coastal area Society (EECS) especially to fisherman Society which has been programmed by ambulatory Regency Government. Internal issue formulation this research is “What will be implementation process program the Economic Empowerment of Coastal area Society (EECS) at Sungai Raya Sub-district, Regency Bengkayang ? Research Type use qualitative and technique of data collecting use the in-depth interview and observation. While data analysis uses descriptive analysis. Program EECS at Sungai Raya Subdistrict of Regency Bengkayang to in the implementation of since the year 2007 is not re-continued. This matter because of some problems and factor influencing its implementation, so that program the EECS 2007 is even transferred to Regency area/other Subdistrict. Therefore, need the correct stages: steps and quickly in handling it, is good the then Government of Regency of Bengkayang and also institution or institute which have the competence of so that program EECS earn the implementation and re-continued because very needed by fisherman society especially in Sungai Raya Subdistrict.

Abstract

Konflik antar etnis yang belakangan ini sering terjadi di Kalimantan Barat memerlukan upaya serius untuk menanganinya. Boleh jadi konflik tersebut akibat pendidikan yang salah urus, terlalu mengagungkan otak namun mengabaikan hati. Itu sebabnya perlu ada upaya internalisasi nilai multikultural. Harapannya, dengan nilai multikultural anak-anak dari berbagai kelompok etnis kelak di masa depan menjadi lebih baik, dan dapat hidup berdampingan secara damai. Abstract

This study aims to improve and develop the skills think students in the learning process teaches sociology at the class X SMK Panca Bhakti Sungai Raya Kubu Raya district. The method used is descriptive research with the intention to describe the actual state of the application model of contextual learning in the teaching-learning process has been implemented by teachers Panca Bhakti sociology SMK Sungai Raya. Results of data analysis showed that teachers are already implementing measures of contextual learning, contextual learning components and capable teachers assist students in connecting the subject matter, the teacher is able to manage the class well, teachers can carry out group discussions in class and the ability of teachers in conditioning himself as a teacher who is respected by his students and will accept responses wisely as well as questions submitted from students to teachers.Keywords : Application, Contextual Learning, Sociology Lesson.

Abstract

Berhasil atau eksisnya suatu organisasi dapat dikaji, ditelaah, diteliti   dan diuji dengan melihat penataan administrasi,  pelaksanaan fungsi manajemen, kepemimipinan dan pimpinan. Pemberdayaan sumber daya manusia merupakan kunci utama dalam meningkatkan dan mengembangkan kualitas pendidikan anak usia dini. Anak hidup disiplin, bersih dan tertib jika dibina oleh pendidik yang memiliki pola hidup teratur. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan kelembagaan, metode, model pembelajaran, kurikulum, keterampilan, dan pelatihan yang memadai, dan sinergis. Semua aspek dapat dikelola melalui fungsi manajemen yaitu perencanaan (planning), pengorganisasian (organizing), pelaksanaan (actuating), pengendalian (controlling) yang disingkat menjadi POAC.Kata Kunci: Manajemen dan Pendidikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui bentuk interaksi sosial asosiatif kerja sama kelompok primer para siswa di MA Nurul Falah Desa Teluk Pakedai II Kecamatan Teluk Pakedai Kebupaten Kubu Raya. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Alat pengumpul data yaitu panduan observasi, panduan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan interaksi sosial asosiatif terlaksana dengan baik. Dibuktikan dengan gotong-royong membersihkan lingkungan sekolah, membersihkan masjid, kegiatan pemasangan kipas angin dan membersihkan sampah.Kata Kunci: Interaksi Sosial Asosiatif, Kelompok Primer.  Abstract: This study was interseted to determine the form of social interactions associative cooperation of primary groups of students in MA Nurul Falah Village Teluk Pakedai sub District Teluk Pakedai Kubu Raya District. Using a qualitative approach descriptive method. Data collection techniques are observation, interview, and documentation study. Data collection tools are observation guides, interview guides and documentation. The results of this study showed that associative social interaction performed well. Proven with mutual assistance to clean up the school environment, clean the mosque, fan installation activities and clean up the garbage.Keywords: Learning Activities, Smokers Student, Senior High School.

Abstract

This research was aimed at improving student learning outcomes in IPS subject on 7th grade SMP N 4 Pontianak. The research was using Problem Based Learning method. It used descriptive method with qualitative design. It was implemented through 2 cycles, in which each cycle consisted of four steps such as planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The data collecting techniques used in this research were direct observation and students’ learning outcomes. Based on the result of analysis showed that there was an improvement in learning activity in the first cycle as 60% meanwhile the second cycle showed 71%. The student outcomes at the first cycle showed 56% and the second cycle improved to be 76,5%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is for learning. This study entitled Social Change Towards Development of Rasau Jaya Village 3 After the Development of the Rajati Flower Garden. With the problem of how social change in the village of Rasau Jaya 3, economic improvement after the construction of a flower garden, development planning or the addition of facilities. This research method is a descriptive qualitative approach. Data sources of this research are primary data and secondary data. The results showed that: after the construction of the flower garden in Rasau Jaya 3 village the development of social change there was increasing, the people there accepted the development of the flower garden, because with the development of the community's economy there could be increased, because the people there could sell at around the flower garden so that it can increase their economy again there, and there will be plans to add facilities in the flower garden so that it can attract visitors to keep coming to the flower garden of the flower garden rajati.

Abstract

Upaya perbaikan mutu pendidikan selama ini kurang berhasil. Hal ini disebabkan strategi pembangunan pendidikan selama ini bersifat input oriented yang lebih berdasar kepada asumsi bahwa bilamana semua input pendidikan telah dipenuhi seperti penyediaan berbagai buku, media pembelajaran, sarana pendidikan, pelatihan guru dan tenaga kependidikan lainnya, maka secara otomatis lembaga pendidikan akan dapat menghasilkan keluaran yang bermutu. Demikian pula, pengelolaan pendidikan lebih bersifat macro oriented, diatur oleh jajaran birokrasi di tingkat pusat, sedangkan ditingkat daerah belum begitu berperan. Anak dalam mengikuti pendidikan di sekolah terlalu banyak dijejali dengan berbagai bahan ajar yang harus dihafal, pendidikan tidak mengarah pada upaya mengembangkan karakter dan potensi yang dimiliki, tidak mengajarkan kemampuan memecahkan masalah hidup, tidak diarahkan untuk membentuk manusia kreatif dan inovatif. Karena itu, diperlukan pemikiran pengelolaan manajemen peningkatan mutu berbasis sekolah yang berorientasi pada peserta didik.
