Abstract

This study examines the effect of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Implementation (X1) and Digital Literacy (X2) on Patient Service Efficiency (Y) at Hospital X. The research employed a quantitative approach with a descriptive design. Data were collected from 41 healthcare staff using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression. Classical assumption tests, including normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity, were conducted to ensure the validity and reliability of the regression model. The results indicate that EMR Implementation has a significant positive effect on Patient Service Efficiency, demonstrating that the effective use, integration, and accessibility of EMR systems are crucial for enhancing hospital service efficiency. In contrast, Digital Literacy shows a positive but not statistically significant effect, suggesting that while digital skills are necessary, they have a limited impact without robust system implementation and organizational support. Simultaneously, EMR Implementation and Digital Literacy together significantly influence Patient Service Efficiency, with the regression model explaining 61.5% of the variance.

Abstract

This study examines the role of authenticity in influencer marketing and investigates how follower discernment shapes persuasion knowledge and consumer responses. As influencer marketing continues to expand across digital platforms, authenticity has become a critical determinant of trust, engagement, and effectiveness. Drawing on a multi-method research design that integrates surveys, experiments, and content analysis, this study explores how followers identify cues of authenticity and sponsorship in influencer content. The findings reveal that detection cues such as language, tone, and visual consistency play a key role in shaping authenticity perceptions, while individual factors such as experience and media literacy influence the ability to discern persuasive intent. The study further demonstrates that perceived authenticity and persuasion knowledge act as central mediators, determining whether consumers respond with trust or skepticism. The activation of persuasion knowledge often leads to increased critical evaluation and resistance, particularly when content is perceived as overly commercial. However, authenticity and transparent disclosure can mitigate these effects and sustain engagement. The study contributes to theory by extending the Persuasion Knowledge Model to influencer contexts and offers practical insights for designing authentic and effective influencer strategies. Future research should explore cross-platform and cultural variations in authenticity perception.

Abstract

This article explores the privacy calculus in the era of zero-party data, focusing on how value exchange framing influences consumers’ willingness to disclose personal information. As digital marketing shifts away from third-party tracking toward consent-based data practices, understanding the factors that drive voluntary data sharing has become increasingly important. Drawing on a narrative literature review, this study integrates insights from marketing, consumer behavior, and privacy research to examine how individuals evaluate the trade-off between perceived benefits and perceived risks. The findings highlight that value exchange framing—whether functional, emotional, or monetary—plays a critical role in shaping perceptions of value and influencing disclosure decisions. Functional and emotional framing tend to enhance perceived relevance and trust, while monetary incentives may produce mixed effects by raising concerns about data exploitation. The study also identifies key moderating factors, including privacy concerns, trust in brands, and data literacy, which influence how consumers interpret value propositions. A conceptual framework is proposed to illustrate the relationships between value framing, mediating perceptions, and disclosure outcomes. The article contributes to theory by extending privacy calculus in the context of zero-party data and offers practical insights for designing transparent and effective data-sharing strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of job stress and quiet quitting on turnover intention with burnout as a mediating variable among Motor Sailing Vessel (MSV) crews in Bontang City, East Kalimantan. The high work pressure and changing work behaviors are critical issues in the traditional shipping sector. A quantitative approach with an explanatory design was used. The population included all active MSV crews (395 respondents) using a census technique. Data were analyzed using SEM-PLS. The results show that job stress and quiet quitting have a positive and significant effect on burnout. Burnout also has a significant positive effect on turnover intention. Furthermore, burnout fully mediates the relationship between job stress and turnover intention, as well as between quiet quitting and turnover intention. The findings indicate that psychological work conditions are key factors driving crew turnover intention. Managerial implications emphasize the importance of stress management and burnout prevention to sustain the maritime workforce.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of work-life balance in mediating the effect of work from home (WFH) implementation on burnout and psychological distress among Generation Z office employees, with workload as a moderating variable. The study was conducted in Indonesia and focused on Generation Z employees aged 18–28 years who work under a WFH system and experience high workloads. This research employed a quantitative approach using non-probability sampling, specifically purposive sampling. The sample size was determined using the Hair formula based on 25 indicators, resulting in a minimum of 175 respondents. Primary data were collected through a Google Form–based questionnaire using a six-point Likert scale. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Partial Least Squares (PLS) approach. The findings indicate that WFH has a significant negative effect on burnout and psychological distress, suggesting a protective effect on the mental health of Generation Z employees. Furthermore, work-life balance partially mediates the relationship between WFH and both burnout and psychological distress. Workload acts as a selective moderator, weakening the relationship between WFH and work-life balance and strengthening the relationship between work-life balance and burnout, while showing no significant moderating effect on other relationships. Overall, the results suggest that WFH can enhance the mental well-being of Generation Z employees through improved work-life balance, although these benefits may diminish when workloads become excessively high.

Abstract

Non-citrus essential oils are natural resource–based export commodities with significant potential in international trade. Competition with major exporting countries and the dynamic development of the global market share require a comprehensive analysis of Indonesia's export position and competitiveness. This study aims to analyze the comparative advantage, trade specialization, and dynamic export position of Indonesia's non-citrus essential oils relative to competing countries during the 2015–2024 period. The analytical methods employed include the Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA), Trade Specialization Index (ISP), and Export Product Dynamics (EPD). Secondary data were obtained from UN Comtrade, ITC Trade Map, and Statistics Indonesia. The results show that Indonesia possesses a strong comparative advantage, as indicated by an increase in the RCA value from 3.45 in 2015 to 7.57 in 2024, accompanied by a rise in export market share from 3.16% to 8.38%. The ISP analysis yields an average value of 0.14, with an increasing trend from −0.19 in 2016 to 0.57 in 2024, indicating a shift in Indonesia's status from a net importer to a net exporter. Furthermore, the EPD analysis places Indonesia in the Rising Star position with X-axis = 17.96 and Y-axis = 2.927, indicating that Indonesia's export market share growth aligns with increasing global demand. These findings confirm Indonesia's substantial potential to strengthen its position as a major exporter of non-citrus essential oils in the international market.

Abstract

The sandwich generation faces the dual burden of financially and emotionally supporting both aging parents and dependent children, a pressing issue in Indonesia given its high dependency ratio. This study aims to analyze the economic aspects, psychological impacts, and support systems experienced by the sandwich generation in Surakarta. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through semi-structured interviews with 3–5 purposively selected informants and analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña. The findings reveal three main conclusions. First, economically, the group bears a three-tiered financial burden for parents, children, and core household needs exacerbated by inflation, with uneven saving and investment capacities across income levels. Second, psychologically, they experience both negative impacts (stress, anxiety, guilt, exhaustion) and positive outcomes (inner satisfaction, meaning in life, strengthened family bonds, and acceptance), the latter serving as key resilience resources. Third, support from spouses and siblings is crucial, yet external support from government and workplaces remains unevenly accessible. This study concludes that while the sandwich generation endures significant multidimensional pressures, their resilience is sustained through a dynamic interplay of personal adaptation and available support systems. Expanding inclusive social protection and workplace flexibility is urgently recommended.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of consumption, investment, government spending, and poverty on economic growth during the 2014 Q1–2024 Q4 period. The study uses a quantitative approach with secondary data in the form of time series obtained from official sources. The collected data were tested using multiple linear regression, and supported by descriptive statistical tests, stationarity tests, correlation tests, and autocorrelation tests. The results show that consumption, investment, and government spending have a positive but insignificant influence on economic growth. Conversely, poverty has a negative but significant influence on economic growth. Simultaneously, all independent variables do not have a significant effect on economic growth. The relatively low coefficient of determination value indicates that there are still other factors outside the model that influence economic growth. This finding emphasizes the importance of poverty reduction in driving increased economic growth.
