Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has greatly impacted all sectors, including small and medium-sized businesses such as cracker producers and resellers. The problems faced in the midst of the pandemic include manual production processes, lack of management skills, monotonous and less innovative products, and difficulties in marketing. In this activity, there are three partners, namely UD. Sumber Rejeki is a cracker producer and UD. Wahyu Jaya and UD. Barokah Abadi is a reseller who helps market the product. The targets of this activity are innovative products, market expansion and improving the quality of human resource management, procurement of dough mixer machines, trays, impulse sealers, nameplates, quality packaging, and SAK EMKM accounting books. The service method used is mentoring business activities in terms of production, marketing, and business financial management. The outputs resulting from this community partnership program are in the form of improving the quality of production more effectively and efficiently and hygienically with a dough mixer machine, as well as the creation of a product's unique selling point in terms of shape. Other outputs resulting from this activity are the expertise of business partners in managing production management, digital marketing, and the preparation of simple financial reports based on excel applications guided by SAK EMKM.

Abstract

During the pandemic that not only hit the world but also in Indonesia, there are lot of businesses that went bankrupt. Many businesses are unable to survive the impact of this pandemic, especially small businesses. Our target partner is a home culinary business namely “Dapur Mumpuni”. In addition to selling food, Dapur Mumpuni is currently able to get creative with its innovative pukis cake during the pandemic. The partner has several weaknesses which are (1) limited partner skills in economic management, (2) no bookkeeping regularly, (3) no separation between household and business finances and (4) weak marketing strategy used, resulting in little profit and business is not well developed because it tends to lose in the competition. This community service activity is expected to create targets in accordance with partner expectations namely (1) increasing the partner skills in running its business economically and sustainable, (2) a simple orderly administration, in the sense of being able to separate household and business finances, (3) selling profit increase of effective activity economically and (4) get financial assistance for additional business capital

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengangkat industri kerajinan konveksi Kampung Sablon di Kecamatan Wedi Kabupaten Klaten dari keterpurukan ekonomi di masa pandemi covid 19 melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan tentang kewirausahaan, pengelolaan keuangan dan manajemen serta pemasaran online yang melibatkan akademisi dan praktisi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam jangka waktu satu tahun, meliputi koordinasi, pelatihan dan pendampingan. Hasil dari kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan ini telah meningkatkan produksi, penjualan dan asset UKM sebesar 20% dari kondisi sebelumnya dan keberlangsungan kegiatan ini dikemudian hari akan sangat tergantung pada partisipasi serta dukungan semua pihak (UKM, pemerintah daerah, akademisi dan pihak lainnya).

Abstract

Soy milk owned by Mrs. Fida is a home industry business that has been established for quite a long time. Soy milk produced is pure soy milk without preservatives with the composition of soy, sugar, salt and food coloring. Soy milk is marketed only in traditional markets, namely in Karang Duren Market and the owner has not expanded his marketing area. The problem faced by this home industry is in the field of expanding its marketing area and packaging. Soy milk is only distributed in one traditional market so that the product is less well known in other areas. The packaging of soy milk products is also classified as still not good and quality, because the plastic wrap is thin and prone to tearing and sometimes not labeled with product-related information. Based on these problems, soy milk home industry owners need assistance to market their products to other regions in order to be known by the public. In addition to marketing assistance, this devotional activity also provides assistance related to more quality packaging. Based on this reason, this community service activity aims to help Mrs. Fida as the owner of soy milk home industry in marketing her products in other areas. Product marketing is done by selling to consumers who need soy milk products in the gym / fitness center, because soy milk is high in protein that is much needed by people who exercise. This community service activity also provides guidance on related knowledge to make packaging more attractive and quality and provide capital for Mrs. Fida.

Abstract

Community service activities are carried out in Gucialit Village, Gucialit District, Lumajang Regency. The socialization activity was carried out to provide knowledge as well as understanding to partners related to the socialization of building a creative culture for start-up businesses through digital literacy, considering that digital literacy still needs to be improved, especially among the younger generation who are starting start-up businesses/start-up businesses.The problems faced by partners include: limited Human Resources who have knowledge related to marketing management, especially related to creative culture and digital literacy and the utilization of coconut shell waste into products of high economic value for the environment and creative business opportunities Solutions or alternatives offered to partners to help overcome problems include: increasing abilities, especially in knowledge and information related to marketing management, especially with regard to creative culture and digital literacy and providing new knowledge related to the use of waste to be of high economic value, and the role of digital literacy. in supporting the success of marketing activities carried out especially for start-up businesses.Community service activities in the form of socialization are expected to produce targets according to the expectations of partners, namely: increasing partner knowledge and skills related to creativity and digital literacy and providing understanding related to the role of digital literacy in supporting the success of marketing activities carried out as well as strategies for developing a creative culture for startups up business.

Abstract

IISIP YAPIS Biak merupakan kampus terbesar di Biak dengan jumlah mahasiswa kurang lebih 1000 mahasiswa yang sebagian besar berasal dari suku Biak. Namun, sebagian besar mahasiswa tersebut memiliki kemampuan bahasa Biak yang kurang sehingnga dapat menggiring kepada kondisi peralihan bahasa. Alasan kenapa penggunaan bahasa Biak menjadi kurang dari pada penggunaan bahasa Indonesia adalah kurang sadarnya orang tua sebagai transmitor bahasa dan mahasiswa sebagai generasi muda Biak terhadap pentingnya penggunaan bahasa daerah. Kedua pihak memiliki pamahaman yang kurang akan perannya untuk melestarikan budaya yang mana ditemukan penggunaan bahasa Biak yang kurang di lingkungan keluarga. Metode pelaksanaan terdiri dari observasi terkait masalah, pendataan mahasiswa asli Biak sebagai partisipan, dan menghimpun para mahasiswa Asli Biak untuk mengikuti kegiatan yang dilakukan via online karena alasan Covid-19. Teknik Penyampaian materi menggunakan teknik komunikasi persuasif. Setelah kegiatan ini, kesadaran akan penggunaan bahasa Biak menjadi lebih baik sehingga membangun motivasi dari mahasiswa untuk belajar bahasa daerahnya sendiri.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a very important role in supporting the improvement of the economy of Wringinsongo village, Malang Regency. MSME production of papaya chips and MSME of production of jemblem are currently the leading products in Wringinsongo village and have very good prospects. The main problems that are faced by the business development of MSME papaya chips production and MSME jemblem production are the production process is very simple, there is no product development or diversification, the number of product turnover is limited and the quality is not guaranteed, and the condition of the equipment is very simple and not feasible. In addition, only one type of product is produced and made according to their own tastes and there is no good packaging so that they are less attractive to consumers. The solutions to the problem solving carried out in this community service are by providing training and assistance on how to innovate products and diversify products, provide assistance with machines and equipment that support the production process, train how to design several packaging models, labeling, and brands for the product to be produced to make it more attractive, and train the development of effective sales and promotions through online marketing through several social media such as Instagram and Facebook. The results after training and mentoring show that there is an additional variety of product types and packaging that can directly increase sales turnover.

Abstract

In the midst of a pandemic crisis like this that has not yet subsided, the government has carried out medical treatment in various regions. Not only that, medical treatment is deemed insufficient to ward off the covid 19 virus. Therefore, traditional treatment is needed as an alternative that can be used in the community to increase body immunity in order to break the chain of transmission of covid 19 that occurs in Indonesian society. Therefore, people entrust traditional herbal medicine as an ingredient to increase body immunity during a pandemic like the current one, which is to ward off various diseases, especially the current troubling conditions. So the purpose of writing this community service program is to optimize herbal medicine as the use of herbal drinks in increasing body immunity. In the process of making herbal medicine, it cannot be separated from the cultivation of family medicinal plants or toga such as turmeric, temulawak, ginger, basil, lime and tamarind. This outreach and counseling is targeted at the general public, especially in the Kraksaan, Probolinggo, where understanding and knowledge related to herbal medicine is more realized from disseminating video tutorials for making herbal medicine, which is expected to be used by the community in their respective homes to prevent transmission covid 19 virus.

Abstract

The wooden household furniture now does not guarantee to last long, because the poor quality of woods material. Many alternative choices other than woods, one of which is aluminum. The aluminum furniture business has penetrated rural areas. The partner target are aluminum business owners in Biting Village. Their previous business is to fulfill the manufacture of trellises, fences and household furniture based on orders. The weakness of partner mainly lies in: (1) the limited human resources ability in manage their business; (2) the inability of human resources who understand business bookkeeping regularly; (3) unseparated business and household finances and; (4) limited capital access. This activity is expected to give results according to the targets: (1) increase partner skills in running its business sustainably; (2) strengthening the ability of partners in the preparation of bookkeeping regularly and correctly; (3) increasing the ability of partners in separating business and household finances and; (4) obtaining easy capital access.

Abstract

The Tasbih Craftsmen Group which is located in Tanjungsari Village, Umbulsari District, Jember Regency is also still in most other businesses, namely the need for guidance in order to be able to select and sort out good and correct alternative raw materials in order to produce good and according to expectations. In terms of raw materials, especially regarding the selection of raw materials in order to produce goods, it should be really available and have added value, not a few business actors have minimal knowledge and mastery of it, which is based on several factors such as lack of experience and utilization in providing raw materials, therefore the selection of alternative raw materials in producing goods needs to be considered. Therefore, through this community service program, it can help companies in selecting and providing raw materials for making prayer beads. The result of this service is a raw material that is easy to use, coffee wood, which is abundant wood waste for the Tasbih Craftsmen Group, which is located in Tanjungsari village, Umbulsari District, Jember Regency, including producing scientific articles that can be published in journals or the like.
