The Palembang Economics Faculty Management Journal is published fourty times a year with ISSN print 2686-2530 and ISSN online 2089-6832. In this Jurnal Manajemen, authors are required to register first and upload manuscripts online. The script creation process can be monitored via OJS. Authors, readers, editorial boards, editors, and peer reviewers can get the status of manuscripts in real time. A hard copy of the journal can be purchased by the system. Abstract

The problem formulation of this research were (1) whether The Ownership of Managerial Stock and Corporate Social Responsibility Disclosure affects simultaneously to The Firm Value at mining sector companies registered in Indonesia Stock Exchange for periode of 2011-2013?, (2) whether The Ownership of Managerial Stock and Corporate Social Responsibility Disclosure affects partially to The Firm Value at mining sector companies registered in Indonesia Stock Exchange for periode of 2011-2013?. The objective of this research were determine : (1) whether there is any effect between The Ownership of Managerial Stock and Corporate Social Responsibility Disclosure affects simultaneously to The Firm Value at mining sector companies registered in Indonesia Stock Exchange for periode of 2011-2013, (2) whether there is any effect between The Ownership of Managerial Stock and Corporate Social Responsibility Disclosure affects partially to The Firm Value at mining sector companies registered in Indonesia Stock Exchange for period of 2011-2013. The population of this research was the mining sector companies registered in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample selection used was purposive sampling method. The analysis tool used was multiple linear regression which is managed by using SPSS ver. 16.0. Based on the result showed that as simultaneously and partially The Ownership Of Managerial Stock and Corporate Social Responsibility Disclosure did not have any significant effect to The Firm Value.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of motivation on student achievement, it is expected that the results can provide information for Higher Education to see factors of student learning motivation that can improve student achievement and contribute to further research. The population of this research is Anika Polytechnic students, data collection using methods and techniques by distributing questionnaires to students of the Informatics Management study program 2014/2015 academic year. Other data used is a recap of the CPI and absenteeism. Quantitative analysis methods using multiple linear regression. The results of the analysis show that motivation from both internal and external factors has a significant and positive effect on student achievement

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh suasana toko terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen pada Retail Re-Mart di kota Palembang, secara parsial. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah suasana toko dan keputusan pembelian konsumen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah keseluruhan masyarakat di Kota Palembang yang pernah melakukan transaksi di Reatail Re-Mart selama satu bulan terakhir. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah metode stratified random sampling, dengan pengertian bahwa populasi dalam penelitian ini bersifat heterogen sehingga sampel yang terpilih sebanyak 90 reponden. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah metode wawancara, literature dan observasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis regresi linear berganda, data yang diperoleh diklasifikasi, ditabulasi dan diolah menggunakan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara variable suasana toko berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian di Retail Re-Mart di kota Palembang.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of profitability (ROA), Liquidity (CR), and Capital Structure (DER) against timeliness of financial statements submission (Study On Pharmaceutical Companies Listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2010-2014). The sample taken 8 samples from the financial statements annualy of Pharmaceutical Company listed on the Indonesia stock exchange in 2010-2014. The methode research used is logistic regression. The result of this research shows that profitability variabel amounted to 0,550, liquidity variable amounted tp 0,696 and the capital structure amounted to 0,380 > α means apartid of 3 variables don’t have a significant impact on the timeliness of the financial reports. While simutaneously of the probabilty value is 0,066 > 0,05 means that the simultan eously of 3 variables don’t have a significant impact on the timeliness of the financial reports. The value of the coefficient of determibation (R2) is 0,220 it means that the variables of probability (X1), liquidity (X2) and capital structure (X3)contributed to the timely of financial statements submission (Y) by 22%, while the rest of 88% influenced by other variables which are not inclueded in this research, such as oponions of publik accorentants, company size, public ownership, the reputation of KAP, the age of the company and extraordinory items

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work environment and organizational culture together on employee job satisfaction at CV. Timmi Brothers. The population in this study were all employees in the CV. The Timmi Brothers numbered 70 people and also served as a research sample. Methods of data collection using questionnaires and documentation. The analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS 22.0 software for windows.The results showed that: 1) Together there was a positive and significant influence of work environment and organizational culture on employee job satisfaction on CV. Timmi Brothers. 2) Partially there is a positive and significant influence of the work environment on employee job satisfaction on the CV. Timmi Brothers. 3) Partially there is a positive and significant influence of organizational culture on employee job satisfaction on the CV. Timmi Brothers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of competence and discipline work against satisfaction work in hospital.Muhammadiyah Palembang. Population in this research is nurse hospital RS.Muhammadiyah Palembang. Sample in this research uses the method proportional random sampling, with 146 nurses. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS. The research results show that competence have had a positive impact on satisfaction work nurse in hospital RS. Muhammadiyah Palembang, while discipline of a work as partial have had a positive impact and significant impact on satisfaction work nurse hospital RS. Muhammadiyah Palembang. Variable competence and discipline work against satisfaction work, show competence influential are more dominant of 10,424 than discipline work is only 2,481.

Abstract

The problem formulation in this writing of this study is how influence of satisfaction work to the discipline of labour at PT. Ramayana Lestari Sentosa, Tbk Palembang The purpose of this research to know the analyze influence of satisfaction work to the discipline of labour at PT. Ramayana Lestari Sentosa, Tbk Palembang. This research conducted at PT. Ramayana Lestari Sentosa, Tbk Palembang which is address on Jalan Radial Komplek Ilir Barat Permai Blok D3 Palembang. This research used assosiative research which purpose to know relation between two variable or more, the data used in this study were primary and secondary data. The technique of collecting data used in this study was questionnaire and documentation, the method of analysis used were qualitative and quantitative analysis. Based on the analysis result, it showed that the satisfaction work has positive influence to discipline of labour , it meant if there was increase of satisfaction work will follow the discipline of labour, on the contrary if there was decrease of satisfaction work will follow the decrease of the discipline of labour.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the management of the cost budget and the factors that influence the increased efficiency of budget use at PT. Sentana Superpower Pratama Palembang Branch. This research is descriptive. The results of this study indicate that PT. Sentana Superpower Pratama Palembang Branch reports the results of the implementation of operational costs have been carried out as it should. Where in the report presents comparisons and differences between the budget and its realization. And from this budget execution report, company management can immediately conduct an evaluation so that the difference does not occur again in the next period.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of leadership style on employee performance at PT. Wahana Wirawan Palembang. In this study, the force variable is the variable and the performance variable as the dependent variable. Data collection techniques were conducted by interview method, questionnaire, and literature study. Ketin is proposing a round to Likert scale. Test instrument data is done by Test Data Validity with the result of question item valid and Test of Reability with result of all item Question is Trusted. Hypothesis testing with coefficient of determination, Adjusted R-Square value of 0.076, shows that the ratio of leadership style in affecting performance is 7.6%, other variables that cannot be included in this research model. The result of simple regression analysis through t-test is done by knowing the independent variables to the dependent variable of 95% confidence (a = 0,05). The t-test (partially) in the leadership style variable (X) is obtained by tcount (2,423) ˃ttabel (2,002), based on hypothesis test which means performance (Y) by the leadership style.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the environment, motivation and discipline of employee productivity Abdi Nusa Palembang. In this study the number of population is 33 people all of the research sample. The samples in this study using techniques saturated samples. The results of this study are significant environmental influence, motivation and discipline on employee productivity Abdi Nusa Palembang regression model Ῡ X1 = 1.460 + 0.255 + 0.386 + 0.167 X2 X3 + e. Those variables go hand in hand with the dependent variable means that the higher the environment, motivation and discipline the higher the productivity of employees Abdi Nusa Palembang. There is a significant impact on employee productivity environment Abdi Nusa Palembang with sig 0.044 <α 0.05. There is a significant influence motivation to work productivity klaryawan Abdi Nusa Palembang with sig 0.001 <α 0.05. There was no significant effect on the productivity of employees disciplined Abdi Nusa Palembang Sig value 0.192> α 0.05
