Abstract

In a volatile environment, organizations are challenged with increased uncertainty in various areas that can disrupt organizational sustainability. There is fear that there will be a complex and ambiguous uncertainty that an invasion could erode human character values. Human resources are the most valuable asset owned by an organization. The role of HR has urgency in contributing to increasing organizational development. To prepare ourselves to take part in inviting the time of society 5.0. This is an anticipation of disruption caused by Industrial Revolution 4.0. the scientific work results from a literature study that describes the important role of organizational development in preparing human resources in the technological era. thus, improving organizational development requires superior human resources which are considered the driving force of an organization that collectively contributes to achieving performance. To prepare oneself to face the contemporary era, two things should be done: adaptation and competence in mastering technology, being able to fundamentally, be imaginative, communicate, collaborate, and have problem-solving capasities.

Abstract

This journal explores the fundamental concepts of organizational behavior, focusing on its definition, history, and contributions to human resource development in the field of education. Employing a qualitative method and a literature review approach, this research delves into various definitions of organizational behavior that have evolved over time and outlines its historical evolution. Moreover, the journal investigates the contributions of organizational behavior to human resource development, particularly within the educational context. By detailing relevant theories and expert perspectives, this study provides in-depth insights into how the concept of organizational behavior can be applied to enhance the quality of teaching and learning. The implications of these findings can aid in designing more effective and sustainable educational strategies. In general, this research shows that basic concepts of organizational behavior have a significant impact in shaping inclusive and empowering educational environments. The implications of these findings can provide guidance for policy makers, education managers, and practitioners to better understand and apply the concept of organizational behavior effectively in the educational context.

Abstract

This review activity aims to show the effectiveness of applying the problem based learning model to learning outcomes by reviewing several other research journals related to the variables being reviewed. The review focused on articles with a sample of high school students studying chemistry. Data collection was carried out on the Google Scholar, Mendeley and Scimago databases through a review of 26 national journals. The review method is carried out by summarizing, namely the technique of conducting a review by rewriting the source, either from a journal or book, in your own words, taking into account research trends in PBL learning models on learning outcomes from each source and assisted by the VOSviewer application, namely a visualization and network analysis application used to describe relationships between bibliometric data elements, such as authors, keywords, or research subjects. The results of the review taken from data from 7 high school level schools throughout Indonesia showed that the average pre-test score was 39.67%, while the average post-test score obtained was 86.05%. The average N-gain value obtained was 0.75>0.70, which shows that the PBL learning model can improve learning outcomes in chemistry learning material in the high category

Abstract

Indonesian for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) plays a very active role as a regional promotional media. In this research, BIPA plays an active role as a regional promotional media, especially in the Mandalika Special Economic Zone (KEK). In this case, Mandalika utilizes natural resources and the cultural diversity of the local community as a tourist attraction that is introduced to foreign speakers. With the active role of BIPA, Mandalika has become a very popular tourist destination both locally, nationally and internationally. The aim of this research is to describe the role of BIPA as a regional promotional media in the Mandalika Special Economic Zone (KEK). Meanwhile, the method used in this research is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The results of this research are: (1) BIPA as a tourism promotion media in the Mandalika Special Economic Zone; (2) BIPA as a media for promoting religious culture; (3) BIPA as a media for promoting the art of Gendang Belek; (4) BIPA as a promotional media for the Bau Nyale tradition; and (5) BIPA as a media for promoting regional languages (Bahasa Sasak), and BIPA as a media for diplomacy.

Abstract

The era of globalization has had a significant impact on various aspects of life. The current era of globalization demands that everyone possesses abilities in line with the developments of the times. Massive changes caused by innovations that transform business systems and structures to a newer level are known as the Era of Disruption. The Disruption Era can also be interpreted as the period of transitioning from manual to fully digital processes. In the era of disruption, drastic changes occur that alter the human way of life in various fields. The world's shift towards digital disruption is unavoidable for every individual, especially with the impending Fourth Industrial Revolution and the move towards the 5.0 era, demanding new business skills and ways of working. One crucial aspect in facing this revolution is how to develop human resources (HR) to meet the demands of the time. This research aims to describe, analyze, and assess human resource development strategies in facing challenges in the era of information technology disruption. The research utilizes a literature review methodology with a descriptive analysis approach. The findings indicate that comprehensive and appropriate strategies for human resource development in the face of information technology disruption are not only necessary but imperative and highly essential. The research findings suggest that creative and deeply skilled human resources are crucial to ensuring the sustainability of workforce competitiveness. Knowledge and skills embedded in individuals regarding information technology development are excellent seeds that will drive innovation, productivity, and progress

Abstract

Stress is a phenomenon experienced due to the internal pressure within individuals. The purpose of this journal is to provide a description of stress management among employees. The methodology employed in this journal utilizes a qualitative approach, collecting data in the form of words, sentences, or phrases. The data gathered is secondary data obtained by the author from relevant books, journals, or research articles. The research indicates that stress arises from various factors, whether environmental, organizational, or individual, ultimately leading to a decrease in employee work productivity. Failure to manage stress properly can exacerbate the situation. In conclusion, this paper emphasizes the need for appropriate stress management for individuals experiencing stressful conditions. By doing so, their situation can be controlled, enabling employees to enhance their work productivit. The dynamics of stress in the workplace can have both positive and negative impacts, not only being a stimulus for workers to feel more enthusiastic and motivated, but can also cause a decrease in productivity and various health problems if not managed properly. Stress management is essential in maintaining a healthy work environment and ensuring employee well-being.

Abstract

The The obstacling that faced by the industry today is the less maximum results from allocating material sources for production and optimizing production results. The Covid-19 pandemic has influenced in the homemade cassava chip business being less developed and increasingly experiencing setbacks. The business owners are not ready to face a pandemic situation which makes one of the obstacles less than optimal in terms of income. The right modeling technique can result in satisfaction with the desired production results and income which are wanted. In this research, The problem of optimizing production is solved by using fuzzy goal programming model. This model does not need to use goal weighting so that the optimal solution is only based on the desired target. In the decision making in this research using Lingo 18.0 application which in its solution is not necessary using overtime and easy to use. This research will be carried out in two homemade industries of cassava chips, those are namely Lestari Jaya and Berkah Jaya Abadi. Based on the calculating simulation on optimizing the production of two homemade cassava chip industries in East Lampung Regency, the results obtained are more optimal by using the fuzzy goal programming model.

Abstract

This research discusses the value of human resource management in facing the era of society 5.0. This research is a literature research with descriptive analysis approach. The object of this research is human resource management, while the data sources used are all literature on human resource management and the development of the era of society 5.0. The data is then collected and processed into study results. Data validity is carried out by triangulating sources, namely comparing data obtained from various sources. This research shows that human resource management is needed in facing the society 5.0 era. The idea of the society 5.0 era as the next movement after the industrial revolution 4.0 era requires humans to always be ready for all its challenges. This is because humans will be the center of all civilization in the era of society 5.0. Things that need to be prepared to welcome the era of society 5.0 include knowing the challenges of the era of society 5.0, carrying out good management of human resources, knowing the stages of HR planning, and knowing the developments that must be carried out to improve the quality of human resources.

Abstract

Conflict in the world of education is an unavoidable phenomenon and can have a significant impact on learning success. Therefore, conflict management is a critical aspect in creating a positive and effective learning environment. This research discusses the sources of conflict as well as the basic concepts of conflict management and applies them in an educational context. This research uses a library method by collecting sources from journals and scientific papers. One solution that is quite efficient for increasing productivity in educational institutions is to manage conflict. The ability of educational institution leaders to handle conflict well depends on their ability to combine various existing approaches, such as validating incoming news, discussions, negotiations, looking for mediators (judges), making peace, and others. Therefore, to ensure that efforts to improve the quality of work continue to be implemented optimally, leaders of educational institutions should always strive to continue to improve their skills, knowledge and innovation in managing conflict.

Abstract

This article aims to show the role of universities in increasing the competitiveness of human resources in the era of society 5.0. A university is an organization that has a mission to educate the nation. Higher education plays an important role in producing the nation's next generation, therefore a quality university is capable of producing a superior generation. In reality, the competitiveness of higher education institutions in Indonesia is still low. The research used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The results of the research show that the competitiveness of higher education institutions is still low compared to other countries, and the quantity and quality of human resource development is still low. Therefore, the role of the Human Resources development division at the university is important. There is a need to improve the management system as in the other countries which can be emulated to produce quality higher education resources.
