Abstract Marriage is scared in Christianity, even in religions outside Christianity. The most important goal of a marriage is not only to produce offspring, but more to covenant to God, Vision and Mision Of God, the formation of children’s character is primarily related to the faith of the children and generations. However, there are often cases regarding marriages of diffrent religions or faith that cause problems, pro and contra among community, religious leaders and theologians. Therefore, in this study an analysis was carried out to explore some of the principles of marriage in the Bible regarding the basis of marriage according to the Bible to respond to views on interfaith or diffrent fait marriages. The method used in this study uses a literature review in order to obtain theological writing. Based on this research, it is found the interfaith marriage is not permitted in the Bible because it relates to Elohim YHWH (God) ini this case The God of Israel who is the object of worship, this is important to answer the pro and contra of interfaith marriage of faith problems.Keyword: YHWH, Marriage, Family, Vision and Mission, Faih, Childrens AbstrakPernikahan merupakan hal yang sakral dalam kekristenan, bahkan juga dalam agama-agama di luar agama Kristen. Tujuan terpenting sebuah pernikahan bukan hanya untuk menghasilkan keturunan, tetapi lebih kepada perjanjian kepada TUHAN, Visi dan Misi Tuhan, pembentukan karakter anak-anak terutama berkaitan dengan iman anak-anak dan generasi. Namun sering terjadi kasus mengenai pernikahan berbeda agama atau iman yang mengakibatkan permasalahan, pro dan kontra di antara masyarakat, pemuka agama dan para teolog. Oleh karena itu dalam penelitian ini dilakukan analisa untuk menggali beberapa prinsip pernikahan dalam Alkitab mengenai dasar pernikahan yang sesuai dengan Alkitab untuk memberi respon terhadap pandangan mengenai pernikahan beda agama atau beda iman. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tinjauan literatur guna mendapatkan tulisan yang bersifat teologis. Berdasarkan penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa pernikahan beda agama tidak diijinkan dalam Alkitab karena berkaitan dengan Elohim YHWH (TUHAN) dalam hal ini Allah Israel yang menjadi objek penyembahan, hal ini penting untuk menjawab pro dan kontra masalah pernikahan beda agama atau iman. Inductive interpretation is believed and has been proven to be the best method compared to other methods, to produce an accurate and biblical interpretation. This needs to be done so that there is no controversy between one verse and another, because one verse in the Bible will not contradict another verse in the Bible. Make sure that everything we do is only holy, pleasing to God, do good to all people and stay true to the faith that gives salvation to us. Lead those who are still lost with God's love and guard our hearts and ourselves so that we don't fall into sin. Show good character to be an example for them and, love them as Jesus Christ loved all His people. Preach the gospel and teach them to live according to the Word of God, so that they will believe and be saved. A healthy church is the importance of God's servants who can guard their hearts with all their vigilance to be able to serve and shepherd the congregation that God has entrusted. AbstrakPenafsiran secara induktif dipercaya dan telah terbukti merupakan metode yang terbaik dibandingkan metode lain, untuk menghasilkan tafsiran yang akurat dan alkitabiah. Hal ini perlu dilakukan supaya tidak terjadi kontroversial antara ayat yang satu dengan ayat yang lainnya, sebab ayat dalam Alkitab yang satu tidak akan membantah ayat dalam Alkitab yang lain. Pastikan yang kita kerjakan segala sesuatunya hanya yang kudus, berkenan di hadapan Tuhan, lakukanlah kebai-kan terhadap semua orang dan tetaplah teguh pada iman yang memberi keselamatan kepada kita. Pimpinlah mereka yang masih terhilang dengan kasih Tuhan dan jagalah hati dan diri kita sendiri agar kita tidak jatuh ke dalam dosa. Tunjukkan karakter yang baik supaya menjadi teladan bagi mereka dan, kasihilah mereka seperti Yesus Kristus mengasihi semua umatNya. Beritakanlah injil dan ajarlah mereka menyelaraskan hidup sesuai Firman Tuhan, supaya mereka percaya dan diselamatkan. Gereja yang sehat adalah pentingnya pelayan Tuhan yang dapat menjaga hati dengan segala kewaspadaan untuk dapat melayani dan menggembalakan jemaat yang Tuhan percayakan.

Abstract: The background of the problem in this study is the phenomenon of pre-marriage religious conversion as a solution for a couple to be able to continue their married life, while the purpose of this study is to describe the effectiveness of a couple who performs religious conversion, possible problems that occur after religious conversion and how the couple maintains the existence of their family. The contents of this article include: an explanation of religious conversion in general, the background of pre-marriage religious conversion, the meaning of Christian marriage, the possible problems that arise in couples with religious conversion, efforts to maintain the existence of the family. In conclusion, religious conversion is not the best way to choose a life status, for someone who wants to take this action needs a serious decision and commitment, because changing beliefs means changing the identity, lifestyle, concepts and fundamental principles that have been owned by previous religions.Keywords:religious conversion, married, christian Abstrak: Latar belakang masalah kajian ini adalah terjadinya fenomena konversi agama pra-pernikahan sebagai solusi pada sebuah pasangan untuk dapat melanjutkan kehidupan pernikahan, adapun tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat keefektivan sebuah pasangan yang melakukan konversi agama, kemungkinan masalah yang terjadi pasca konversi agama dan bagaimana pasangan mempertahankan eksistensi keluarganya. Bagian isi daripada artikel ini antara lain: penjelasan konversi agama secara umum, latar belakang konversi agama pra-pernikahan, arti pernikahan kristen, kemungkinan permasalahan yang muncul pada pasangan dengan konversi agama, upaya dalam menjaga eksistensi keluarga. Kesimpulannya konversi agama bukanlah jalan terbaik untuk memilih status hidup, bagi seseorang yang ingin mengambil tindakan ini perlu keputusan dan komitmen yang serius, karena mengubah keyakinan berarti mengubah jati diri, pola hidup, konsep, dan prinsip-prinsip fundamental yang pernah dimiliki dari agama sebelumnya.Kata kunci: konversi agama, pernikahan, keluarga, kristen

Sejak jatuh ke dalam dosa, manusia terpisah dari Allah. Allah menjadi pribadi yang kudus sedangkan manusia menjadi mahkluk yang berdosa. Dampak yang ada bukan hanya dari sisi keterpisahan tetapi kehidupan manusia yang tidak memiliki pengharapan. Sejak Yesus mati untuk menebus manusia, setiap orang diampuni dan dibenarkan dari dosa. Sejak itulah, hidup manusia memiliki pengharapan dan kepastian akan keselamatan di dalam Yesus. Roma 1;16-17 merupakan tulisan Paulus tentang misi. Di dalam tulisannya, Paulus memiliki keyakinan bahwa Injil sebagai kekuatan Allah yang menyelamatkan setiap orang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pustaka dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Berdasarkan pembahasan yang ada Injil merupakan kekuatan bagi semua orang dan menjadi tugas bagi orang percaya untuk terlibat dalam pemberitaan injil dan menjadikan penginjilan sebagai gaya hidup sehari-hari.

The problem is there are church members who are less able to overcome moral degradation that occurs in the community. How do you overcome moral degradation? The method used is the descriptive qualitative method based on literature studies. There are several ways to foster church residents to be able to overcome moral degradation that occurs in the community, namely: First the key is that the pastors want revival, reform, and revitalization of his church. Second, the pastor made revival programs, reforms, and revitalization of the pastors focusing on the continuation of short, medium and long-term church fostering. Third, pastors make programs so that each congregation starts reading the Bible every day. Fourth, the pastor sends each member of the church to influence members of society who have not been saved, so that the moral degradation of society would slowly and surely be resolved.AbstrakMasalahnya adalah ada warga gereja yang kurang mampu dalam mengatasi degradasi moral yang terjadi di mayarakat. Bagaimana cara mengatasi degradasi moral tersebut? Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif berdasarkan studi litetatur. Ada beberapa cara pembinaan warga gereja untuk mengatasi degradasi moral yang terjadi di mayarakat, yakni: Pertama kuncinya adalah para pendeta menghendaki adanya revival, reformasi dan revitalisasi gerejanya. Kedua, pendeta membuat program-program revival, reformasi, dan revitalisasi para pendeta berfokus pada keberlangsungan pembinaan warga gereja jangka pendek, menengah, dan panjang. Ketiga pendeta membuat program agar tiap jemaat mulai membaca Alkitab setiap hari. Keempat pendeta mengutus tiap warga gereja memengaruhi anggota masyarakat yang belum diselamatkan, sehingga degradasi moral masyarakat perlahan dan pasti teratasi.

AbstractThe church has an important role in a movement for the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Great Commission is the center of the church in carrying out the mission of the Kingdom of God in this wolrd. Since the days of the early church, the church has experienced tremendous growth. Many souls believed in Jesus and experienced tremendous spiritual growth. The extraordinary growth of God’s church makes all components of the church must be well integrated into a unified whole. All of this cannot be separated from the Lord Jesus prayer so that His disciples remain united in the project of the great commission. But in reality, the church that should have remained united as the Lord Jesus prayer in John 17:1-26 did not materialize well. The church began to fokus on worldly interests and was no longer a universal church unit. Some of the problem that occurred, the disorganization of the church which is often referred to as ecumenical did not happen well, because of differences in doctrine, there are elements of self-interest, leadership problem and finanacial problems. So that the essence of the church to carry out the mission of the great commsission has shifted. This writing uses a descriptive method of literature by extracting library data ro strengthen understanding as a whole. The goal is that through writing, namely, First, church leaders realize how important a unity is in God’s church. Second, the church becomes a pleasant family as a member of the body of Christ. Third, believers are focused again on thinking about the realization of the Lord Jesus prayer, so that they become one.. Keywords: Ecumenical, Unity, Church, Christian, Jesus Prayer.

Sunday school is one of the supporting facilities in spiritual development for children, so they can get to know God the Creator from an early age. In addition, Sunday School can also be a forum for the church to lay the foundation of Christian faith for children, so that they can reflect the character of life in accordance with Bible teachings. However, what is happening today is that more and more Christian children are starting to leave the church. This was disclosed by Prof. Dr. Thomas Pentury, M.Sc., based on research results, there are as many as 50% of the Christian millennial generation in Indonesia who have left the church. Here it can be seen that the church today needs good management, especially in Sunday School activities so that the children who are being taught in the future remain faithful to serve in the church. Therefore, in this article the writer uses literature review to answer the problems raised. With the aim, that the church can have a picture or concept of good management in the Sunday School ministry, so that the children who are taught continue to have loyalty to church services.

Menafsir Genre Apokaliptik Kitab Daniel Hasahatan Hutahaean

The Apocalyptic genre is one genre that is difficult to understand because of its long intricacies and requires accuracy. One reason for the difficulty in interpreting the apocalyptic genre is the use of symbols that are not uncommon for today's readers. The use of symbols is very close to the speaker and, the first reader. The Book of Daniel is identical to the many uses of the symbolic language of the two Apocalyptic genre Books in the Bible. Readers increasingly need to be careful and careful when classifying symbol languages because there are differences in the use of symbols and language of descriptions. This paper was prepared by searching the literature with a qualitative approach. With the support of data from journal articles and cognate books, the research achieved the expected goals. The discussion begins by describing the apocalyptic genre based on literal facts. Then examine the uses of symbols, images, and others and the need for the interpreter's humility when trying to interpret this genre, especially in the use of symbolic language. The results show that many parts can be understood by following the rules of interpretation of the apocalyptic genre in the use of symbolic language. But some parts are precisely still a mystery to the reader as sealing of their meaning.AbstrakGenre Apokaliptik termasuk salah satu genre yang sulit untuk dipahami karena seluk-beluk yang panjang dan memerlukan ketelitian. Salah satu penyebab sulitnya menafsir genre apokaliptik yakni pemakaian simbol-simbol yang tidak lazim bagi pembaca masa kini. Pemakaian simbol-simbol sangat dekat bagi penutur dan pembaca pertamanya. Kitab Daniel identik dengan banyaknya pemakaian bahasa simbol dari dua Kitab genre apokaliptik dalam Alkitab. Pembaca semakin perlu berhati-hati dan teliti ketika mengelompokkan bahasa-bahasa simbol karena terdapat perbedaan penggunaan simbol dan bahasa penggambaran. Tulisan ini disusun dengan penelusuran kepustakaan dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Dengan dukungan data dari artikel jurnal dan buku-buku serumpun maka penelitian mencapai tujuan yang diharapkan. Pembahasan dimulai dengan memaparkan genre apokaliptik berdasar fakta-fakta literal. Kemudian menelisik penggunaan simbol, gambar dan yang lain serta perlunya kerendahan hati penafsir ketika mencoba menafsirkan genre ini khususnya dalam penggunaan bahasa simbol. Hasilnya menunjukkan banyak bagian yang dapat dipahami dengan mengikuti kaidah penafsiran bagi genre apokaliptik dalam pemakaian bahasa simbol. Namun ada bagian-bagian yang justru masih menjadi misteri bagi pembacanya sebagai penyegelan terhadap maknanya.

Measurable, systematic, and directed teaching in terms of spiritual discipline of children is found in the Bible, namely in the Book of Deuteronomy 6:6-9. The aims of this study were to: 1) describe the role of spiritual discipline education in the family based on Deuteronomy 6: 6-9, emotional intelligence and social improvisation skills of Class IX Unggul Sakti Junior High School students, 2) Test how far the spiritual discipline education in the family is based on Deuteronomy 6: 6-9 plays a significant role and affects the emotional intelligence and social improvisation abilities of Class IX Unggul Sakti Junior High School students, 3) Analyzing how the influence of spiritual discipline education in the family based on Deuteronomy 6: 6-9, on the emotional intelligence and social improvisation abilities of Class IX Unggul Junior High School students Magic. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that spiritual discipline has a positive and significant effect on students' emotional intelligence and social improvisation as indicated by the probability value <0.05) (0.000<0.05). Adjusted R Square value is 0.204. This shows that 20.4% of students' emotional intelligence and social improvisation are influenced by spiritual discipline, while the remaining 79.6% is influenced by other factors not explained in this study.

The Toll House concept according to Seraphim Rose and Growth of Faith. This article discusses Toll House and the Growth of Faith which is reviewed according to the book The Soul After Death to explore one of the church's traditions inherited from the Church Fathers. This book is a book that is not known by many believers therefore this topic is rarely discussed, even in the Church. Therefore, this paper aims to invite believers to be on guard in the face of death, so that in all things can be done and done with the understanding that whatever we do now will be accounted for later. This dogmatism is supported through the book The Soul After Death and interactions with the Bible as well as other books or articles that discuss about Toll House, resulting in a growing spiritual life through Toll House tradition or doctrine. The dogmatic from Toll House reminds believers that while living in this world, we must fight to fight the evil spirits by keeping watch, purifying ourselves, living in holiness so that believers will no longer live in power. the evil one (sin) but instead directs his life toward the goal of God to create mankind that is to be similar to the image and likeness of God (Theosis).
