Abstract

 Education in congregations is often characterized by the lack of exemplary Christian teachers who teach, foster, and educate them. This example is closely related to the professionalism of Christian teachers in fostering congregations in a consistent, dynamic, effective, and enjoyable way. The professionalism of Christian teachers in teaching and nurturing congregations is the key to bringing the congregation to the perfection of life like Christ. The life and character of the Christian religion teacher greatly influence the life and character of the congregation. A Christian teacher who teaches and nurtures congregations must have a spiritual experience with God have the ability of knowledge, skills, and ability to use methods in the learning process. The method of fostering congregations is one of the most professional teachers of Christianity in fostering a very strategic congregation. Because with this ability, it is possible for Christian religious teachers to be able to bring influence to the quality and spiritual life of the church. Thus, the church has the knowledge of faith in the truth of God, which is able to understand the truth well, has a character like the Lord Jesus Christ, which is to love and serve and have the values of Christ that are applied in everyday life. AbstrakPendidikan dalam jemaat seringkali diwarnai dengan kurangnya keteladanan guru agama Kristen yang mengajar, membina dan mendidik mereka. Keteladanan ini berkaitan erat dengan keprofesionalan guru agama Kristen dalam membina jemaat secara konsisten, dinamis, efektif dan menyenangkan. Profesionalisme guru agama Kristen dalam mengajar dan membina jemaat menjadi kunci dalam membawa jemaat kepada kesempurnaan hidup seperti Kristus. Kehidupan dan karakter guru agama Kristen sangat mempengaruhi kehidupan dan karakter jemaat. Seorang guru agama Kristen yang mengajar dan membina jemaat harus memiliki pengalaman rohani dengan Tuhan, memiliki pengetahuan, keterampilan dan kemampuan menggunakan metode dalam proses pembelajarannya. Metode dalam membina jemaat salah satu keprofesionalan guru agama Kristen dalam membina jemaat yang sangat strategis. Sebab dengan kemampuan ini, maka dimungkinkan guru agama Kristen mampu membawa pengaruh terhadap kualitas dan kehidupan rohani jemaat. Dengan demikian, jemaat memiliki pengetahuan iman akan kebenaran Allah, yakni mampu memahami kebenaran dengan baik, memiliki karakter seperti Tuhan Yesus Kristus, yaitu mengasihi dan melayani serta memiliki nilai-nilai Kristus yang diterapkannya dalam hidup sehari-hari

Abstract

The character has been the main thing of someone succeeds in his life actualization. One who has an excellent intelligent could gain success if only he has good character. Character disorder has attacked anybody, from children, teenager, and adult that bring out various disorder and harmful behaviors. It is caused by unknowing, denying and the missapplicationing of the self-identity. A teenager who is used to be the self-identity explorer is the susceptible group of neither disorder character nor identity. Being a Christian teenager isn’t good enough without having a clear understanding of his self-identity as a follower of Christ. Due to the understanding of that self-identity, the Christian teenager could have good character by reflecting Christ through all of his life.AbstrakKarakter menjadi titik penentu keberhasilan seseorang dalam pengaktualisasian kehidupannya. Seseorang yang memiliki kecerdasan intelektual yang tinggi pun hanya dapat berhasil jika memiliki karakter yang berkualitas. Krisis karakter dialami oleh semua orang, mulai dari anak-anak, remaja hingga orang dewasa, yang memunculkan berbagai perilaku menyimpang serta merugikan diri sendiri maupun orang lain. Salah satu penyebab terjadinya krisis karakter ini adalah karena ketidaktahuan, penyangkalan dan penyalahgunaan identitas diri. Remaja yang identik dengan pencarian jati diri adalah kelompok yang paling rentan mengalami krisis karakter yang disebabkan oleh krisis identitas diri ini. Menjadi seorang remaja Kristen tidaklah cukup tanpa sungguh-sungguh memahami identitas dirinya sebagai seorang pengikut Kristus. Sebab hanya dengan memahami identitas diri itulah, remaja Kristen akan mampu memiliki karakter yang berkualitas yakni karakter Kristus yang direfleksikan melalui seluruh kehidupannya.

Abstract

AbstractOne of the obstacles for humans in obeying God's commands is sin. The act of sin is often times associated with the death of the eternal. So the study 's authors aimed to describe about sin in two perspectives, namely sin that brings death and sin that does not bring death according to 1 John 5:16-17.  Therefore, the sin that is intended by the apostle John is different with the sense of sin that is understood by the people believe when this. Sin that does not incur death is sin which is not required on the death of the eternal. The cause of this sin is the result of carelessness in acting thus rated as a sin which is not expected. Sin that does not lead to the death of this also involves the problem of inner that is not just watchfulness will power of sin. Because of it, to kind of sin is still obtain assurance salvation or life that is eternal of God. It is this that distinguishes the sin is the sin that brings death. With such a sin that brings death is sin that has been rewarded with the death of the eternal as the reward of deeds are done. Sin that brings death characterized by properties that do not have the characteristics of a child of God because actions they lead to the rejection of the gospel who does not walk in the way the truth of Christ. In a study of this, the authors describe it through the method of exegesis to understand the intent in paragraph of this. Abstract

Pemuda merupakan generasi yang hidup di era digital dan mereka sangat mahir dalam menggunakan perangkat digital serta selalu update dengan perkembangan teknologi yang ada saat ini. Perkembangan teknologi tidak bisa dihindarkan oleh siapapun, termasuk gereja. Oleh karenanya perlu adanya inovasi serta pemanfaatan teknologi di dalam pelayanan gereja. Pemanfaatan teknologi akan memudahkan gereja dalam menjangkau para pemuda, namun sebaliknya jika gereja anti dengan perkembangan teknologi, maka kemungkinan para pemuda gereja akan menarik diri dan susah terlibat dalam kegiatan gereja. Tentunya gereja harus memanage hal ini agar pemuda, yang merupakan generasi penerus gereja, tetap berakar, bertumbuh dan berbuah di dalam komunitas gereja. Sayangnya hal ini masih belum disadari oleh semua gereja. Untuk itu, melalui artikel ini penulis akan mencoba melihat tantangan-tantangan apa yang dihadapi oleh gereja di dalam memanage PAK pemuda di era digital. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut, maka penulis menggunakan metode penelitian pustaka, yakni membandingkan berbagai literatur, baik itu buku-buku, artikel, maupun jurnal yang berkaitan dengan pembahasan di atas. Tujuan dari tulisan ini adalah untuk memberi pemahaman sekaligus menyadarkan gereja akan pentingnya manajemen PAK pemuda yang kontekstual dengan kehidupan/kebiasaan mereka.

Abstract

Everyone must endeavor peace (shalom). Shalom not only deals with one's relation with God, with one another, and peace with oneself but also with the whole universe on the earth. The effort to present shalom is the responsibility of every person in his neighborhood. Through qualitative descriptive research, with the analysis of the text of Jeremiah 29: 4-7 found essential points about the meaning of shalom. Qualitative research is used to explain the facts or circumstances and views about the meaning of shalom found in Jeremiah 29: 4-7, through theological analysis and literature discussion. The results of this study explain that believers must be the first to bring peace with nature that is to preserve nature and its environment because God gives the mandate of conservation to man. By planting and cultivating nature wisely, human beings are seeking real shalom.AbstrakDamai sejahtera (shalom) haruslah diusahakan oleh setiap orang. Shalom bukan saja berhubungan dengan relasi seseorang dengan Allah, dengan sesama, dan damai dengan diri sendiri, melainkan juga dengan seluruh alam semesta, yakni bumi. Usaha menghadirkan shalom, merupakan tanggung jawab setiap orang di lingkungannya. Melalui penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, dengan analisa terhadap teks Yeremia 29:4-7 ditemukan pokok-pokok penting tentang makna shalom. Penelitian kualitatif digunakan untuk menjelaskan fakta-fakta atau keadaan serta pandangan mengenai makna shalom yang ditemukan dalam Yeremia 29:4-7, melalui analisa teologis dan pembahasan literatur. Hasil kajian ini menjelaskan bahwa orang percaya haruslah menjadi yang pertama dalam upaya menghadirkan damai dengan alam yakni melestarikan alam dan lingkungannya, oleh karena mandat terhadap pelestarian itu diberikan Allah kepada manusia. Dengan menanam dan mengolah alam dengan bijak, manusia sedang mengupayakan shalom yang sesungguhnya.

Abstract

AbstractLeadership is an important role that is able to influence others who become followers. A leader seeks to improve performance at both the individual and group levels or other organizations. Just like Joshua's leadership, it is leadership that gives a picture or success for the Church, especially for the Orahua Niha Keriso Protestant Church (ONKP) of the Immanuel Congregation in Bekasi. The method used in this research is the literature research method.  Related to Joshua's successful leadership, efforts to bring Israel to the place that God has set, when what made Joshua successful as a leader in the midst of the Israelites was not only because of his ability as a human being, but with humility and a good relationship with God, Joshua blessed and also his leadership made successful by God. Thus, the efforts of the Orahua Niha Keriso Protestant Church (ONKP) of the Imanuel Congregation of Bekasi, realizing the success that is the goal for it, so that Joshua's leadership will become the basis for leading and pursuing the success of the ONKP Church of the Imanuel Bekasi Congregation, is growing and even blessed, both in quantity and quality. faith. Keywords:  Leadership, influence, church ONKP, success

Abstract

The current problem with the church in millenial church, that they abandoned worship or liturgy because the considered church liturgy to be a dull thing, and they also felt that church was unable to give them confidence ini the faith of Christ and the failure to maintain a proper upbringing of the church toward the millennial generation. The purpose of this research is to get an idea of the challenges that are. Faced by chruch leaders and gave advice on the efforts of chruch leaders to addressing the problems of millennial children throught mentoring in thr church. This research was the lebraries study with a qualitative approach. Based on these discussions, policycally it is recommended to be more innovative in introducing mentoring activities as the writer had suggested, it was carried out in the form of an activity, retreat, seminars or by giving their room to speaks.

Abstract

Friendship according to a common understanding and the Bible must be different. Friendship in general terms is only based on love between people. While friendship according to the Bible there is certainly a basic word of God that must be done in friendship or a spiritual attraction between each other which of course this spiritual attraction certainly comes from God. In this journal, the author will write what friendship is according to the Bible and its relevance today. Here the writer brings up two stories of friendship that are very well known in the Bible namely friendship between David and Jonathan and Friendship between Mary and Elizabeth. The results obtained are found that friendship is a relationship between two or more people, where they have the bond of love in the same God in which there is mutual concern, affirmation, empathy, willingness to sacrifice everything-including lives, protect each other and not exist jealousy.AbstrakPersahabatan menurut pengertian umum dan Alkitab pastilah berbeda. Persahabatan menurut pengertian umum hanyalah didasarkan karena kasih antar manusia.  Sedangkan persahabatan menurut Alkitab tentunya ada dasar firman Tuhan yang harus dilakukan dalam persahabatan itu atau adanya daya tarik rohani antara satu sama lain yang mana daya tarik rohani ini tentnya datangnya dari Tuhan.  Dalam jurnal ini penulis akan menulis apa itu persahabatan menurut Alkitab dan relevansinya pada masa kini.  Di sini penulis mengangkat dua kisah persahabatan yang sangat dikenal di dalam Alkitab yakni persahabatan antara Daud dan Yonatan serta Persahabatan antara Maria dan Elisabet.  Metode yang dipergunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan memperhatikan literatur-literatur. Hasil yang didapat adalah ditemukan bahwa persahabatan adalah hubungan antara dua orang atau lebih, dimana mereka memiliki ikatan kasih di dalam Tuhan yang sama yang didalamnya ada saling memperhatikan, meneguhkan, empati, rela berkorban segala sesuatu termasuk nyawa, saling melindungi satu sama lain dan tidak ada kecemburan.

Abstract

Everybody is looking for and the pursuit of happiness in life. In a naked eyes and to the size of the general public, who gets happy is a man who has what it takes and fulfilled what is desirable. Seeking happiness tends to focus on wealth, position, and sex. As a result not a few people, from the intellectuals and layman trapped, in order to achieve such happiness. Such happiness is false. To explain happiness in accordance with Bible teaching, this study used descriptive qualitative method by analyzing the text of the Bible Matthew 5: 1-12. Based on the facts and results of text analysis, qualitative research is used to build conclusions about the importance of obtaining happiness in God through books explaining the key points in Matthew 5: 1-12. This study concludes that true happiness is the happiness that begins with the personal recognition of God, so willing to do what God says, despite the temporary suffering.AbstrakSemua orang mencari dan mengejar kebahagiaan dalam hidup ini.  Secara kasat mata dan menjadi ukuran masyarakat umum, yang berbahagia adalah orang yang memiliki apa yang diperlukan dan terpenuhi apa yang diinginkan. Kecendrungannya berfokus pada harta, tahta dan sex. Akibatnya tidak sedikit orang, dari golongan cendikia dan awam terjebak, demi mencapai kebahagiaan tersebut. Kebahagiaan demikian adalah semu. Untuk menjelaskan tentang kebahagiaan sesuai dengan pengajaran Alkitab, penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan menganalisis teks Alkitab Matius 5:1-12. Berdasarkan fakta dan hasil analisa teks, penelitian kualitatif digunakan untuk membangun kesimpulan tentang pentingnya mendapatkan kebahagiaan di dalam Tuhan melalui buku-buku yang menjelaskan pokok-pokok penting dalam Matius 5:1-12. Kajian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kebahagiaan yang sejati, adalah kebahagian yang diawali dari pengenalan akan Tuhan secara pribadi, sehingga rela melakukan apa yang Tuhan firmankan, walaupun menghadapi penderitaan sementara.

Abstract

AbstractThe teacher is an important component in the learning process. As a teacher, teachers must have adequate teaching skills because teaching skills greatly affect students' interest in learning. But in fact, there are still teachers who do not have adequate skills so that it reduces students' interest in taking lessons. Students sometimes feel bored and bored because the teacher has not been able to apply teaching skills optimally. The research method used is library research. This method collects data and information in the form of documents, data archives and other literature information. The author will take a descriptive approach to describe the information that the author finds in accordance with the research topic. The analysis process is carried out using various sources of literature, both journals, books and other reference materials to support the author's analysis of the research topic. This study aims to increase the understanding and insight of teachers in applying various teaching skills so that they can foster student interest in learning. The teaching skills that must be mastered by teachers so that they can increase students' interest in learning are as follows, namely the teacher must have the skills to open and close lessons, ask questions, explain skills, make variations, manage classes, lead group discussions, and provide reinforcement skills. Keywords:  teaching skills, teachers, interest in learning, students
