Abstract

The rapid growth of SMK IDN since its establishment in 2016 has necessitated the addition of several branches. With the increasing number of branches, SMK IDN's administrative activities need to be centralized at SMK IDN Jonggol (Central), where the school leases and utilizes MPLS services to support interconnections between branches and the central office. However, there are considerations regarding using MPLS services as the number of SMK IDN branches continues to grow. Concerns from the SMK IDN IT team include issues related to the inflexibility of MPLS links, which can only be specifically used for interconnecting branches or private links that cannot simultaneously accommodate the internet needs of branches. In this situation, the SMK IDN IT team seeks an efficient solution that provides flexibility in interconnections from branches to the central office, with capabilities and stability equal to or better than before. In response to the challenges faced by SMK IDN, we propose the Load Balancing SDWAN solution, where SMK IDN only needs to use internet services available at the central office and branches. The Load Balancing SDWAN solution offers flexibility in terms of cost efficiency and link usage because links can simultaneously fulfill internet and interconnection needs for branches. In its implementation, the Load-balancing SDWAN method effectively addresses the challenges encountered by SMK IDN. Test results show that after implementing the Load Balancing SDWAN method, there is a significant improvement in internet access stability for users, with the ability to failover if there are issues with one internet link, as well as maintaining secure and private connections between the central office and branches. Another benefit of implementing the Load Balancing SDWAN method is budget efficiency, as SMK IDN can provide dedicated internet services per month at a 63% lower cost compared to renting MPLS links previously used

Abstract

This research explores the comparison of Microsoft Excel and Madrasah Digital Report Cards (RDM) in processing student grades into report cards using qualitative methods. In evaluating the advantages and disadvantages of each platform, this research highlights practicality and affordability as important elements in selecting a value management tool. Microsoft Excel is known as a widely recognized tool, while RDM adds practicality through web-based accessibility. Data security is a key consideration, with RDM providing a higher level of protection compared to Excel's inherent security risks. Customization is a key factor, where Excel's high level of flexibility is balanced with a well-organized RDM template structure, which is in line with the needs of the madrasah curriculum. The integration factor is also a determining factor, as Excel requires greater technical effort while RDM is designed to facilitate integration within the madrasa education ecosystem. The choice between Excel and RDM is recommended depending on the specific priorities and needs of the madrasah. For those focused on flexibility and sustainability, Excel may be a more suitable choice. At the same time, RDM offers a more appropriate solution for those who prioritize accessibility, data security, and easy integration. Practical advice is given to madrasah educational institutions to consider the unique characteristics of their environment and the goals they wish to achieve. Abstract

The force balance system uses the whitestone bridge concept to read the airfoil aerodynamic lift and drag forces while also having a function to control the airfoil angle of attack. It is designed for low subsonic wind tunnels, especially for educational purposes. The system uses Arduino as the microcontroller to read the force data from the load cell sensors and gives commands to the rotary motor stepper to change the airfoil angle of attack. Arduino is combined with a novel mechanical linkage system designed and studied to ensure the sensors can read the correct airfoil lift and drag forces. The angle of attack is controlled with a smartphone to decide the degree of airfoil. The reading of the system is validated using spring balance that pulls the system with magnitudes of 1,1.5, 2, 2.5, and 3 kg in some pulling force angle. The results show that the reading of the system is accurate compared to the theoretical results, with an average error of 2 %. The force measuring tool on the airfoil is the first step in a series of steps to produce the final project, namely the wind turbine. Research suggests that the load cell must be positioned correctly so that the sensor reading error can be increased again. The stepper motor must be turned off the bottom shaft to prevent the airfoil from rotating.

Abstract

Clean water is a basic need that is very important for human life. In Indonesia, many clean water companies supply water for community needs. Indonesia's government-owned clean water company has many customers spread across various provinces. This research aims to apply the k-medoids algorithm in clustering PAM customers based on provinces in Indonesia to determine which provinces are included in the low, medium, and high-level clusters of PAM customers. The data used in this research is on the number of PAM customers, the amount of water distributed, and the value of the water distributed from 1998 to 2021 to 34 provinces in Indonesia. This research obtained 3 clusters, namely low, medium, and high-level clusters determined by the number of PAM customers, the amount of water distributed, and the value of the water distributed in each province. Cluster 1 (C1) is a low-level cluster that obtained results from 19 provinces, Cluster 2 (C2) is a medium-level cluster that obtained results from 11 provinces, and Cluster 3 (C3) is a high-level cluster that obtained results from 4 provinces. And get a k-medoids cluster validation value of 0.014846718. In this way, it is hoped that the government can identify areas in each province that require improvement or improvement in making appropriate decisions regarding clean water resources to provide better services to customers
