Abstract

In the mid-2000s, a new marketing strategy that emerged as a result of digitization created online visibility for many companies. While many companies communicate via email, companies such as Amazon are starting to post negative comments from customers on evaluation sites. The innovations brought by digitalization began to bring new insights into marketing, but few people paid attention to these innovations. When Facebook opened its doors to the general public in 2006, the power of social media started to influence consumers and businesses, and this situation continues at its latest pace. In the summer of 2013, the three sites with the highest traffic were Facebook, Google and YouTube - either live social networking sites or platforms with strong social networking elements. Although the site is not available to those under 13 and denied access in China, the world's most populous country, one in seven people in the world is currently an active Facebook member. This striking growth of social media is only just beginning to understand business processes and models by marketing managers and researchers. It influenced the way they started. One wayTo model the radical change social media is animating is the pinball analogy, which suggests that marketing in a social media environment resembles a game of pinball, a chaotic and interactive game that replaces the bowling approach, a linear and one-way approach to marketing . As well as revealing new ways of thinking, the pin-table analogy also describes how value creation processes and structures can adapt to new marketing environments if companies are to be perceived as profitable by active, highly connected consumers via networks. In this study, while presenting an overview of the new environment, it also deals with important reflections on marketing managers and companies exposed to this enlightenment.

Abstract

The late arrival of stroke patients to the hospital is still a problem that still occurs in hospitals in several regions in Indonesia. Delay in treatment of stroke patients causes permanent disability and death. The time it takes for stroke patients is less than 3 hours to get thrombolytic therapy, which is started when an attack occurs. Where, the effectiveness of therapy is determined by the time the patient arrives at the hospital. Patient arrival to the hospital affects patient outcomes. Purpose: to analyze the factors associated with family delays in bringing stroke patients to the ER at Labuha Hospital. This study used an observational analytic study design with a cross sectional design approach. The research location is in the Emergency Room of the Labuha Hospital. Research time was September-November, 2020. The sampling technique used nonprobability sampling with purposive sampling technique totaling 42 stroke patients. The measuring instrument used is a questionnaire. Based on the Spearman test, it shows the relationship between the factors of knowledge (p = 0.01), awareness (p = 0.03), decision making (p = 0.00), economy (p = 0.00) and behavior (p = 0.00) with family delays in bringing stroke patients to the ER at Labuha Hospital. The multiple linear regression test shows that awareness is the most dominant factor associated with family delay with the coefficient value β -11.051 compared to other factors. The time delay of stroke patients decreased when knowledge, awareness, decision making, economy and family behavior were good.

Abstract

Electrical machine with electro magnet as excitation system many problems out of which, less efficiency is a major one. Self excited dc machine has to sacrifice some power for excitation system as a result, power available for useful work become less. This problem can be solved to some extent whatever may be the amount , by using permanent magnet for the excitation system of dc machine and there by contributing towards the conservation of conventional energy sources which are alarmingly decrease day by day . Using of permanent magnet in the electrical machine helps in burning of less conventional fossil fuel and contributes indirectly in conservation of air-pollution free environment. With permanent magnet dc motor, the efficiency of the machine also rise up considerably. This paper is an effort to give a computer aided design procedure of permanent magnet dc motor.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic since the beginning of 2020 has changed all aspects of people's lives. The community must start a new life adaptation where the implementation of health protocols is not only mandatory but also a lifestyle trend. One of the new habits that many people are starting to implement is online shopping. This is an opportunity for MSMEs in Indonesia to be able to take this opportunity so that they can develop and sustain their business in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, it is necessary for MSME players to be introduced to Digital Marketing. The goal of this study is to introduce the deployment of small and medium-sized enterprises in the MSME sector during the COVID-19 pandemic. This review takes a qualitative approach, using a literature review, to examine and solve research content issues. The results of the research show that digital marketing is very helpful for MSME players in Indonesia because with the various benefits that digital marketing has, it can increase the sales turnover of MSME players. However, digital marketing has not been widely applied to the MSME sector in Indonesia due to several factors, including not yet technological literacy, inadequate supporting facilities to Indonesia's geographic conditions which become obstacles. Therefore, researchers recommend a few simple things how to start a business with digital marketing, such as starting to determine marketing goals, marketing targets, determining the digital platform to use; determine the budget, and create content that can attract consumer attention. In this study, the authors also describe the added value obtained by customers who use digital marketing.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the reasons for refusal to define and confirm the boundaries of the area in Nagari Sungai Buluh. This article is based on a qualitative case study conducted using in-depth interviews and observation data collection methods. The conflict between Nagari Sungai Buluh and Nagari Sungai Buluh Selatan has occurred since the issuance of Minister of Home Affairs Regulation (Permendagri) number 45 of 2016 concerning the establishment and confirmation of village boundaries which mandates each local government to establish and confirm village boundaries. Based on the regulation of the Minister of Home Affairs, Nagari Sungai Buluh Selatan has determined the boundaries of the administrative area with the original village before the expansion, namely Nagari Sungai Buluh (main), this can be seen from the 2012 customary density decision letter of the nagari, but when it will confirm the boundaries These problems arise, one of which is not receiving the results of the initial agreement.

Abstract

In recent years, social media has become ubiquitous and important for social networking and content sharing. And yet, the content that is generated from these websites remains largely untapped. In this paper, we demonstrate how social media content can be used to predict real-world outcomes. In particular, we use the chatter from Twitter.com to forecast box-office revenues for movies. We show that a simple model built from the rate at which tweets are created about particular topics can outperform market-based predictors. We further demonstrate how sentiments extracted from Twitter can be further utilized to improve the forecasting power of social media
