Abstract

It is important to pay attention to the prevalence of under-five nutritional problems in Indonesia in 2022 which will still reach 21.6%, especially related to stunting and underweight. This disorder has far-reaching consequences, including increased morbidity and mortality. As a result, it is critical to recognize stunting early, and one way that can be done is to employ Maternal and Child Health (MCH) books as a source of information for moms of toddlers. Through this MCH guide, mothers can independently monitor their toddlers' growth and development, as well as expand their understanding and attitudes about toddler nutrition. The purpose of this study is to examine the association between the use of the MCH handbook and the mother's knowledge and attitudes about early stunting identification. The study was a quantitative study that was done out utilizing cross-sectional research methodologies on 88 moms who had toddlers and MCH books. The results showed that the use of the MCH handbook as a communication tool was the factor that had the most influence on mother's knowledge (OR=12,007) and one of the factors that had a significant impact on mother's attitude in early detection of stunting.

Abstract

Abstract

Because it is responsible for the deaths of approximately 6 million people each year, smoking is one of the most significant challenges confronting the world of health. More than 5 million individuals lost their lives as a direct result of smoking cigarettes, and another 600 thousand lost their lives as a result of being exposed to cigarette smoke. It is possible for pregnant women to give birth to stillborn babies, malnutrition, disrupt the metabolism of fetal growth, have weak fetuses, and have disorders of the fetal nervous system if they are exposed to cigarette smoke. Because of this, the purpose of this study is to determine how pregnant women react to the presence of cigarette smoke in their homes that is produced by other people. Quantitative research is the method of investigation that was utilized in this study. The study also took a cross-sectional approach and utilized an analytic research design. The findings demonstrated that the attitudes of pregnant women and the value systems of pregnant women towards other people's cigarette smoke in the home environment is the most dominant element for the establishment of active smokers' awareness not to smoke in the home environment.

Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to examine the impact of Sustainable Entrepreneurship on Non-Financial Business Performance for Start-up Business Owners in an Indonesian University. In this study, three dimensions of Sustainable Entrepreneurship- including People, Profit, and Planet- were measured subjectively by applying an eight-item dimensional scale from Soto Acosta. For Non-financial business performance, three dimensions were explored; Relationships with suppliers, Net fluctuation of employees, Customer complaints were measured by a nineteen-item scale from Škerlavaj. All the constructs in the study were modified to adhere within the five-point Likert type scale. The research used an explanatory approach with quantitative statistical techniques such as Mean, Standard Deviation, and Multiple Regression analysis. The total sample was 105 business owners incorporated into a business incubator in a University. Based on the calculation of the descriptive statistical analysis, the average of each variable calculation on People, Profit, Planet and Non-financial Business Performance show that most respondents tend to agree about the implementation of sustainable business practices within their businesses. This is indicated by the results of the overall grand mean, in the interval >3-4. The effect of each independent variable on the dependent variable of Non-financial Business Performance which includes its sub-dimensions (Relationship with suppliers, Net fluctuation of employees and Customer complaints) was done by utilizing the F-test. From the results of multiple linear regression analysis, it concludes that all of the dependent variables can be significantly influenced by independent variables People, Profit, and Planet.

Abstract

Most women who give birth sustain perineal injuries, which can lead to postpartum infections. Red betel infusion is recognized as one of the simple, inexpensive, and risk-free perineal wound care therapies; it also promotes perineal wound healing and possesses potent antimicrobial properties. This study seeks to determine the effect of perineal care infusion of red betel on postpartum perineal wound healing time at the Duren Sawit District Health Center in East Jakarta in 2022. The study employed the Quasi-Experiment methodology in conjunction with the Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design research design. A sample of 38 samples was collected using a non-probability sampling technique and an accidental sampling approach. Based on the results of the Mann Whitney test, the p-value was 0.001, indicating that there was a difference in perineal care administration of red betel infusion on the healing time of the postpartum perineal wound between the red betel infusion group and the control group. Other researchers are anticipated to use red betel infusion media by adding variables relating to pain, redness, symptoms of inflammation, and wound healing processes, as well as respondents.

Abstract

The objective of the article is to expose a set of reflections and empirical findings related to the phenomenon of youth associative participation and its relationship with the development of greater civility as a condition of democratic strengthening. Within this framework, a series of findings related to the phenomenon of "multi-adherence" is presented, establishing, in this way, its theoretical importance, its conceptualization, to advance in the exploration of its relationship with the development of civic behavior. In this way, it seeks to determine, first, if the multi-adherence phenomenon constitutes an instrument of social integration typical of the cultural model present in our societies; second, what kind of motivations encourage and/or discourage young people to participate in multiple ways; third, if an eventual multi-membership is a strategy of increasingly broad social and ideological experimentation; and, finally, what is the impact of a possible multi-membership on the civic life of young people and the consequences that it may have on public policiesThe objective of the article is to expose a set of reflections and empirical findings related to the phenomenon of youth associative participation and its relationship with the development of greater civility as a condition of democratic strengthening. Abstract

This study addresses the issue of the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, which includes the possession of chemical weapons, biological weapons, and nuclear weapons. The international community endeavors to mitigate the dangers posed by the trade in weapons of mass destruction. Changes in technology have contributed to a shift in the sources of funding for weapons of mass destruction. Financial institutions are susceptible to being utilized as a conduit for money laundering and the financing of the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. There are a variety of transactional options available for money laundering and the financing of weapons of mass destruction by criminals. Financial institutions must therefore adhere to international protocols to prevent the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. Interviews and documentation studies are used to collect qualitative data for this study.

Abstract

This study aims to find out what is the point of view of legal research with a problem solution approach (dispute resolution) on legal disputes that exist both in court and outside the court in force in Indonesia. This research method uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach where legal materials are obtained from library books, both printed and electronic. The formulation of the problem for this research are: a. how is the settlement of legal disputes that occur in Indonesia?; b. What are the judges' considerations in their decisions regarding the settlement of legal disputes that occurred in Indonesia? The conclusions of this study are 1. Legal research with a dispute resolution approach (problem solution) can be carried out outside the court and in court where both have advantages, disadvantages and procedures that differ from one another; 2. The legal research approach with out-of-court dispute resolution is difficult to obtain legal documents because it is closed (not published) while dispute resolution through the courts can be analyzed in terms of court decisions, judges' legal considerations and legal findings by judges. It is recommended that the results of dispute resolution outside the court can be obtained openly so that decisions and legal considerations can be examined on existing disputes and laws and other regulations so that they are immediately made to strengthen the legal position of the judge's legal findings.
