Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study is to determine the increase of creative thinking ability and creative thinking skill in mathematics learning with mathematic in context approach. The technique analisys used is the average comparative test for pretest and posstest data. To see an increased creative thinking skill, researcher compare the average value of creative thinking skills from the first meeting, the meeting II and III meeting. The result showed that there is an increasing of creative thinking ability and crtative thinking skill in mathematics learning with mathematic in context approach.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan komunikasi matematis antara siswa yang menggunakan model Problem Based Learning berbasis etnomatematika dengan pembelajaran konvensional, dan respons siswa terhadap pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model Problem Based Learning berbasis etnomatematika. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan desain penelitian menggunakan pola desain Non Equivalent Control Group Design dan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Sampling Purposive. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII di salah satu SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Kuningan Jawa Barat tahun ajaran 2016/2017 sebanyak lima kelas sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah dua kelas VIII yaitu kelas VIII E sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII B sebagai kelas kontrol yang masing-masing sebanyak 20 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan komunikasi matematis antara siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model Problem Based Learning berbasis etnomatematika dengan pembelajaran konvensional setelah diberi perlakuan dan respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan model Problem Based Learning berbasis etnomatematika mendapatkan respons yang positif dari siswa

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui dan menelaah pencapaian dan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematik siswa pada pembelajaran matematika melalui pendekatan ketrampilan metakognitif dengan model advance organizer dan siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran biasa. Penelitian ini diharapkan  memberi kontribusi untuk setiap guru dan siswa pada pembelajaran matematika dengan pendekatan Ketrampilan Metakogntif dengan model Advance Organizer. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dengan menggunakan tes. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Pencapaian dan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematik siswa pada pembelajaran matematika melalui pendekatan ketrampilan metakognitif dengan model advance organizer lebih baik dari pembelajaran biasa.

Abstract

This paper presents the results related to the influence of Mathematics Ability variables and Application-Computer Self-Efficacy (ACSE) students on the Quality of Learning Outcomes in the process of learning Discrete Mathematics by utilizing LMS as a support system. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR), using a quantitative approach. Respondents were third semester students of the Informatics Engineering study program STMIK IKMI Cirebon. The research data were obtained from observations, questionnaires, databases of grades of Calculus and Linear Algebra courses, and recapitulation of student learning outcomes for one semester in Discrete Mathematics lectures. Data analysis was performed using the Dummy Regression method. Based on data analysis, it was found that Mathematical Ability and Application-Computer Self-Efficacy (ACSE) of students had a positive effect on the quality of the results of Discrete Mathematics learning using LMS as a support system.

Abstract

This study aims to develop mathematics learning tools for linear programming materials based on problem based learning assisted by GeoGebra Android to increase the mathematical problem solving skills of students and to find out the validity of learning tools. Developed learning tools consist of modules, worksheets, and evaluation tools. This development research refers to the Plomp development model consisting of 3 phases, preliminary phase, prototyping phase, and assessment phase. The subjects of the study consisted of 3 validators. The instruments of the study consisted of validation sheets and learning tools in the form of modules, worksheets, and evaluation tools. The data collection technique used was expert validation sheets. The developed learning media were validated by 3 validators consisting of 2 lecturers and 1 teacher. The data analysis technique used was by searching the average of each aspect in the validation sheet so that the average total validator assessment was obtained for each learning tools. Based on the results of learning tools validation, it was obtained the average score of module validation of 4.04 (valid), worksheet validation of 4.18 (valid), and evaluation tool validation of 4.17 (valid). Based on the validator assessment, the results of the study were obtained that developed learning tools are stated valid.

Abstract

Batik as an Indonesian national identity has contributed greatly to the Indonesian economy. However, the value of exports and other economic potentials are not supported by the number of batik, especially batik artisans in the village Trusmi. Trusmi batik artisans in the village is a craftsman who has been there all the time and remain there for generations. The phenomenon that occurs in the craft of batik Trusmi analyzed with mathematical modeling approach, in this case the dynamical system. From the resulting system of differential equations, then analyzed the stability around the critical point. From the resulting model, gained two critical points. The first critical point is a condition where there is no proficient craftmen (not expected), whereas at the second critical point is the potential of batik craftmen and proficient craftmen mutually exist, or in other words batik will still exist. From the results of numerical simulation, if , then batik Trusmi will still exist. However, if , then the number of proficient craftmen would quickly dwindle and slowly batik will be extinct.Key Words : dinamical system, critical points, stability

Abstract

Media menjadi alat untuk menyampaikan suatu konsep dalam pembelajaran dengan lebih mudah. Pembelajaran berbasis multimedia dapat melibatkan perhatian, menumbuhkan pemikiran, meningkatkan pemahaman, dan memberikan pengalaman belajar mahasiswa secara luas. Penelitian kualitatif deskriptif ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis prestasi belajarmahasiswa terhadap penerapan pembelajaran berbasis multimedia pada mata kuliah perkembangan peserta didik. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa pendidikan matematika semester IIA tahun akademik 2016/2017. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah soal tes perkembangan peserta didik, portofolio, observasi, dan wawancara. Seluruh data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis sesuai dengan langkah yaitu mereduksi data, menyajikan data, penarikan kesimpulan, dan verifikasi. Berdasarkan analisis data hasil penelitian, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa prestasi belajar mahasiswa pendidikan matematika semester IIA tahun akademik 2016/2017 melalui penerapan pembelajaran berbasis multimedia pada mata kuliah perkembangan peserta didik berada pada kategori sangat baik.

Abstract

The aims of this study to analyze students basic mathematical ability in terms of students self-regulated learning (high, medium, low). This research was a descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of this study were all students of the Department of Pharmacy totaling 30 people consisting of 12 men and 18 women. To obtain data in this study used research instruments consisting of two types, namely tests and non-tests. The test instrument was a basic mathematical ability test consisting of 10 problem questions and a non-test instrument in the form of an independent learning questionnaire. Analysis of students basic mathematical ability was analyzed using a score technique and then asked for grades ranging from 0 to 100. The scores were then classified as minimum completeness criteria (MCC). Analysis of basic mathematical ability data in terms of self-regulated learning was categorized into high, medium, and low. The results of this study indicate how to study mathematics S1 Pharmacy students at Mathla'ul Anwar Pandeglang University Banten still in the medium category with an average value of 46.67%.

Abstract

This research aim to to analyze the influence of study method demonstrate by software geogebra to understanding of student mathematics. Research method used in this research is experimen by desain is research of One Short Chase Study. To get the research data used by instrument of tes essay of mathematics and response enquette to method demonstrate the. this Research population is alk student class X, with the class A as sampel research amount to 40 student. Result of research indicate that the mean assess the understanding of student mathematics of equal to 35. analysis of Data of enquette of respon student to study method demonstrate by software geogebra show 85% giving positive response.
