This study was intended to produce a learner worksheet based on problem based learning with valid and practical, and to determine the potential effects on students mathematical connections ability in derivative material. This is development research type of formative research. The subjects of this research were students of class XI MIPA 1 SMAN 2 Palembang as many as 36 students. Data collection techniques used are interviews, document analysis, and test. The result of document and data analysis could be concluded that this research procuded worksheet based on problem based learning in derivative material valid and practical, and LKPD that had been developed had a potential effect on on students mathematical connections ability in derivative material. Therefore worksheet that had been developed can be used by the students.

This research aims to identify the error of students’ answers to the quations of descriptive statistics viewed from mathematical communication skill. This is a descriptive research. The subjects of this research are 36 students of class IB. The technique of data collection used in this research is test. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that the errors of students’ answers to the quations of descriptive statistics viewed from mathematical communication skill are: (1) the error in presenting diagram appropriate to the objective of 30.56%; (2) the error in presenting data in the frequency distribution table of 27.78%; (3) the error in presenting data from frequency histogram to frequency distribution table of 22.22%; and (4) the inconsistency in writing symbol of 36.11%. Based on the result, it is known that the most errors of the students’ answer viewed from mathematical communication skill are the inconsistency in using the symbols.Keywords: Error identification, Mathematical Communication Skill

This research is a development research with the aim of this research is to obtain HOTS-based mathematics textbooks that are valid and suitable for use and can support students' mathematical abilities, one of which is high-order thinking skills. The 2013 curriculum emphasizes modern pedagogical dimensions in learning, namely using a scientific approach. The research method used is development research or known as RD (research and development). R D model used is Borg and Gall which includes the following stages: preliminary study, design, product development. The final stage of Borg and Gall's RD research method is implementation. Researchers used the modified results of the Borg and Gall RD research method due to limited research time and ineffective pandemic conditions for maximum implementation, as evidenced in a limited trial of online learning to one class XI SMA only about 20% responded. The teaching materials developed are in the form of learning modules for SMA and SMK levels. The results of this study can be concluded that the developed book products meet the very good criteria of each category. In other words, the developed book product is said to be valid and suitable for use.

ABSTRACT  This study aims to determine (1) whether math model of cooperative learning TAI type can improve significantly students' mathematical understanding; (2) how the activities of students and teacher during the learning process; (3) whether the learning model used in improving the ability of mathematical understanding can achieve mastery of student learning; and (4) how the students' response to the application of learning model. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) carried out in three cycles. Research subjects class VIII C SMP Islam Al Azhar 5 Cirebon totaling 25 students. Instruments used in the form of test capabilities instrumental and relational understanding of mathematical student, activity observation sheet of students and teachers, and questionnaires. The results showed, with a model of cooperative learning TAI can improve students' mathematical understanding. This is evidenced by the increase in the results of the pretest to posttest increased understanding of students' mathematical abilities significantly. This is supported by an increase in the average value of students each cycle. Activities of students and teacher during learning quite well and has increased in each cycle. The percentage of students activity increased from the first cycle, second cycle and third cycle in the amount of 57.5 %, 72.5 % and 82.5 %. Activities of students and teacher is getting better at every meeting. Increasing the ability of mathematical understanding can achieve mastery learning students. This is evidenced from the results of the pretest obtained 3 students who completed (12%), the first cycle were 17 students who completed (68%), the second cycle were 19 students (76%) completed, the third cycle as many as 21 students (84%) completed, and postes 22 students (88%) with a value above the KKM. Based on the questionnaire, most students give a good attitude and response to learning with cooperative learning model of TAI as the guidance provided by the teacher individually and the help of friends in the group. TAI model of cooperative learning will be more effective in teaching the material with a deeper level of understanding and ability given to the subject heterogeneous students.  Keywords:     Cooperative Learning Model Team Assisted Individulization, The Ability of Students' Mathematical Understanding.

AbstractTo the effect this research is subject to see the improvement of students' mathematical literacy by using the Metacognitive Guidance (MG) approach, especially the mathematical literacy ability of level 3 and level 4 students. The design of this research is non-equivalent control group design. The experimental class is given by using the Metacognitive Guidance (MG) approach and the control class given the learning with the conventional approach. The population in this study is all students of class VII of one of the Junior High School in Cianjur. The samples were chosen as many as 2 classes from eight existing classes with purposive sampling technique. To obtain the result of research data using instrument in the form of mathematical literacy level 3 and level 4, and student questionnaire. Data processing increased the ability of mathematical literacy using mann-witney test. Based analisi data, the results showed that the improvement of students 'mathematical literacy skills using the Metacognitive Guidance (MG) approach was better than the improvement of students' mathematical literacy skills using conventional approach, the improvement was in the medium category. The questionnaire results show that students' attitude toward mathematics learning using Metacognitive Guidance (MG) approach is positive.Keywords: Metacognitive Guidance Approach, Mathematical Literacy

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh keaktifan siswa dalam pembelajaran metode probing prompting terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen semu (quasi experiment) yaitu jenis penelitian yang mempunyai kelompok kontrol, tetapi tidak dapat berfungsi sepenuhnya untuk mengontrol variable-variabel luar yang mempengaruhi pelaksanaan eksperimen. Subyek Penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMK Negeri 2 Slawi tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Hasil olah data diperoleh nilai F = 115,357 dengan sig 0,000 0,05. Besarnya pengaruh dari nilai R Square = 0,772 = 77,2%. Sedangkan Y=-0,462+1,199x. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, maka dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh positif keaktifan siswa dalam pembelajaran metode probing prompting terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis.

Mathematical modeling ability: the ability of students in translating a real problem in everyday life sentence into mathematics (mathematical models). Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) is a math learning approach that starts from things that are 'real' for students or contexts easily imagined by students, then represented in the form of formal mathematics through mathematical processes. Learning to use RME to be intensified to remember that this learning can improve students' mathematical modeling ability. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan kurangnya keaktifan siswa dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh aktivitas siswa dalam model cooperative script terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa, perbedaan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model pembelajaran Cooperative Script dengan pembelajaran secara konvensional dan untuk mengetahui respons siswa selama pembelajaran menggunakan model cooperative script. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan desain kelompok eksperimen True Experimenal Design (Eksperimen Murni) dengan pola Posttest Only Control Group Design (Kelompok Kontrol Postest). Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Mandirancan Kabupaten Kuningan. Sampel dalam penelitian ini, yang terpilih sebagai kelompok eksperimen adalah kelas VII-F dan yang terpilih sebagai kelas kontrol adalah kelas VII-G. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan (1) terdapat pengaruh aktivitas siswa yang signifikan dalam penggunaan model pembelajaran cooperative script terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis. (2) terdapat perbedaan kemampuan komunikasi matematis antara siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model cooperative script dengan siswa yang pembelajarannya dengan metode konvensional. (3) analisis respons siswa terhadap pembelajaran matematika menggunakan model cooperative script dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 79% dengan interpretasi kuat. Jadi, model cooperative script ini dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif dalam pembelajaran, karena dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Minat dan prestasi belajar matematika peserta didik yang diajar menggunakan aplikasi Whatsapp dengan materi lebih baik daripada peserta didik yang diajar menggunakan aplikasi Whatsapp tanpa materi. Penelitian yang dilaksanakan yaitu penelitian eksperimen . populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh kelas X TKRO SMK Negeri 2 Slawi. Sedangkan sampelnya diambil dua kelas, yaitu kelas X TKRO 1 menjadi kelas eksperimen dan kelas X TKRO 2 menjadi kelas kontrol.instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah 20 item angket dan 10 soal tes berbentuk pilihan ganda yang mengukur minat dan Prestasi belajar peserta didik. Cara mengetahui minat dan Prestasi belajar itu lebih baik maka sebelumnya dilakukan uji kesetaraan sampel yaitu menggunakan uji analisis ragam satu arah.kemudian data Prestasi postes diolah dengan dengan langkah uji normalitas univariat dan normalitas multivariat,uji homogenitas univariat dan homogenitas multivariat dan uji 2-Hotelling.Berdasarkan analisis Prestasi pengolahan data pada penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa Minat belajar dan Prestasi belajar matematika peserta didik yang diajar menggunakan aplikasi Whatsapp dengan materi lebih baik daripada peserta didik yang diajar menggunakan aplikasi Whatsapp tanpa materi.
