Abstract

This article examines the understanding of the correlation between the Trinity doctrine and the maturity of faith in the Full Gospel Bussines Men's Fellowship Jakarta (Chapter 7 Muara Karang). Understanding the doctrine of the Trinity is part of Christian faith. This teaching aims to make believers have correct knowledge, increase and understanding and are able to mature in knowing the Triune God (Father, Son and Holy Spirit). Maturity of faith is certainly part of an effort to teach Christian faith, especially in understanding the doctrine of the Trinity by churches, communities and Christian organizations. Maturity of faith does not occur instantly but because of the process of the Triune God and having the unity of faith and true knowledge of Christ. The research was conducted using quantitative methods. After carrying out the research according to the standard methodology, the results of the calculation of the correlation between the two variables were 0.350 and entered into the positive category even though it was still low. Based on the regression test, the results between the two variables were 12.3%, which means that the understanding of the Trinity Doctrine contributed 12.3% to the maturity of faith. Thus understanding the doctrine of the Trinity can generate and increase the maturity of one's faith and can be applied because it has a positive relationship, however, this is not the only reference because there are other factors and topics that correlate with the maturity of faith.AbstrakArtikel ini mengkaji pemahaman korelasi doktrin Tritunggal dengan kedewasaan iman di Full Gospel Bussines Men’s Fellowship Jakarta (Chapter 7 Muara Karang). Pemahaman doktrin Tritunggal merupakan bagian dari iman Kristen. Pengajaran ini bertujuan agar orang percaya memiliki pengetahuan, peningkatan dan pemahaman yang benar serta mampu dewasa dalam pengenalan akan Allah Tritunggal (Bapa, Anak dan Roh Kudus). Kedewasaan iman tentu merupakan bagian dari suatu upaya pengajaran tentang iman Kristen khususnya dalam pemahaman doktrin Tritunggal yang dilakukan oleh gereja, komunitas maupun organisasi Kristen. Kedewasaan iman tidak terjadi secara instant melainkan karena proses dari Allah Tritunggal serta memiliki kesatuan iman dan pengetahuan yang benar tentang Kristus. Adapun penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kuantitatif. Setelah melaksanakan penelitian sesuai metodologi yang baku, maka didapat hasil perhitungan korelasi antara kedua variable adalah sebesar 0,350 dan masuk pada kategori positif meski masih rendah. Berdasarkan uji regresi didapat hasil antara kedua variable sebesar 12,3% yang berarti bahwa Pemahaman Doktrin Tritunggal memberi kontribusi sebesar 12,3% terhadap kedewasaan iman. Dengan demikian pemahaman doktrin Tritunggal dapat menimbulkan dan meningkatkan kedewasaan iman seseorang dan dapat diterapkan karena memiliki hubungan yang positif namun demikian hal tersebut tidak dijadikan satu-satunya acuan karena masih ada faktor-faktor dan topik-topik lain yang berkorelasi dengan kedewasaan iman.

Abstract

The impact of learning difficulties is a condition of students experiencing certain obstacles, in following the learning process so that they do not achieve optimal results. The learning difficulties discussed in this study are limited to students' ability to participate in the online learning process. This study aims to describe the difficulties and factors that cause students to have difficulty learning online during the pandemic. Factors that cause students to have difficulty learning through project based learning. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a literature study approach. The results showed that there were obstacles in project-based learning, students were found to have problems when sending assignments due to a network system that experienced interference.AbstrakDampak dari kesulitan belajar merupakan suatu kondisi siswa mengalami hambatan-hambatan tertentu, dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran sehingga tidak mencapai hasil yang optimal. Kesulitan belajar yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini dibatasi pada kemampuan siswa dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran secara daring. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesulitan dan faktor yang menyebabkan siswa mengalami kesulitan belajar dalam jaringan selama masa pandemi. Faktor yang menyebabkan siswa mengalami kesulitan belajar dalam melalui pembelajaran project based learning. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskritif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hambatan dalam pembelajaran projectbased learning siswa didapati mengalami masalah ketika mengirim tugas dikarenakan adanya sistem jaringan yang mengalami gangguan.

Abstract

The perspective that is owned by the teacher will affect his actions towards students. That is why teachers must have the right perspective so they can educate students well. Christian teachers should have the perspective that students are the image of God who has fallen into sin so students need the process of restoring the image of God.However, the phenomenon that occurs today in the world of education is the existence of acts of violence committed by teachers as a form of education given to students. Seeing this phenomenon, then this study was written to find out how Christian teachers should see the students so that Christian teachers can carry out their roles properly in school. The conclusion obtained is that Christian teachers must see students as the image of God but have fallen into sin. This perspective can help Christian teachers carry out their task of guiding students in the process of restoring the image of God through discipleship. The author is aware of the shortcomings in this writing, therefore the advice that can be given to the next writer is to be able to examine what steps teachers can take in discipleship for the process of restoring the image of God in students through Christian education.

Abstract

The phenomenon of fading the meaning of worship within the scope of believers has been seen. It is marked, when worshiping in the church, sanctity in worship as if not visible because worship is considered limited to the liturgical design of man. As a result, when worshiping honors to God when worshiping as if invisible from the attitude of. This paper examines how to worship in the text of Psalm 100:1-5. In outlining this topic, researchers use the kualittative method with a literary approach and exegesis studies. Focus the research question on this article, how to worship according to Psalm 100:1-5. The results of the review of the exposure of this topic found that the word worship dB.;[ It means serving God and working for someone else. That means that it serves two sides, first working for the needs of others. The second is to serve God in the form of worship. Thus, every believer in the present who does good things to others, it is part of worshiping God in addition to also carrying out worship in the local church. AbstrakFenomena mulai memudarnya pemaknaan tentang ibadah dalam lingkup orang percaya telah terlihat. Hal ini ditandai, ketika beribadah di gereja, kesakralan dalam ibadah seakan tidak tampak karena ibadah dianggap sebatas rancangan liturgis manusia. Akibatnya, ketika beribadah penghormatan kepada Allah saat beribadah seakan tidak terlihat dari sikap. Tulisan ini mengkaji bagaimana cara beribadah diliat dari teks Mazmur 100:1-5. Di dalam menguraikan topik ini, peneliti menggunakan metode kualittatif dengan pendekatan literatur dan studi eksegesis. Fokus pertanyaan penelitian pada artikel ini, bagaimana tata cara ibadah menurut Mazmur 100:1-5. Hasil ulasan dari pemaparan topik ini ditemukan bahwa kata beribadahlah dB.;[;i  yang artinya melayani Tuhan dan bekerja untuk adalah orang lain. Itu berarti bahwa melayani dua sisi, pertama bekerja untuk keperluan orang lain. Kedua melayani Tuhan dalam bentuk ibadah. Dengan demikian, setiap orang percaya di masa kini yang melakukan hal baik kepada orang lain, itu bagian dari ibadah kepada Allah di samping ia juga melaksanakan peribadatan dalam gereja lokal.

Abstract

Education should be implemented online whether synchronously and asynchronously because of Covid-19 pandemic since the end of 2019. According to the survey from KPAI on 1.700 students, there are problems are occurred during the implementation of online learning. Problems that occurred throughout the online learning caused by several aspects such as facility, the teacher, and the student. Significantly, education should be conducted consecutively because it is a long-life process. This paper serves to investigate responses that Christian education should apply to face current issues. Literature review based on the truth of the Scripture as the source of truth is used in writing this paper. An understanding of the definition and purpose of Christian education will assist each individual who is involved in education. For that reason, personal identity as a concrete embodiment of God’s Image which is marred with sin yet redeemed by Christ has implications for every action that is committed by each person. Last but not least, live in vigilance based on the Scripture’s truth will prepare the teacher to be responsive to face every problem. Thus, every person in Christian education should have that understanding. Therefore, Christian education will have a proper response in facing problems throughout its implementations in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic and other kinds of problems.

Abstract

Leadership with integrity is increasingly difficult to have and find in today's world. The same thing was also experienced by several Christian organizations and churches. Even some leaders of Christian organizations show behavior and character that does not reflect the integrity as a church leader as stated in the Bible. The research method used in this research is literature study. The results of this study in realizing Christian leader education as a regeneration process that must be carried out intentionally and seriously, namely: First, Successful Leadership is Strongly Influenced by Integrity. Second, Leadership with Integrity Can Produce Christian Leaders with Integrity. Third, the Call to Form and Develop Integrity Leadership.AbstrakKepemimpinan yang berintegritas semakin sulit dimiliki dan ditemukan dalam dunia saat ini. Hal serupa juga dialami juga oleh beberapa organisasi Kristen dan gereja. Bahkan beberapa pemimpin organisasi Kristen menunjukkan perilaku dan karakter yang tidak mencerminkan integritas sebagaimana seharusnya pemimpin gereja sebagaimana dinyatakan Alkitab. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi pustaka. Hasil dari penelitian ini dalam mewujudkan pendidikan pemimpin Kristen sebagai proses regenerasi yang harus dilakukan dengan sengaja dan serius, yaitu: Pertama, Kepemimpinan yang sukses sangat dipengaruhi integritas. Kedua, Kepemimpinan yang berintegritas dapat melahirkan pemimpin Kristen berintegritas. Ketiga, Panggilan membentuk dan mengembangkan kepemimpinan yang berintegritas.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the data that the author collects from various sources and the author finds problems in understanding the existence of God both among theologians and non-theologians, where often the existence of a transcendent and immanent God is considered unreasonable, which is a contradiction if these two existences at the same time exist in the one and only God. There are different views, such as Pantheism, which holds that God is completely Transcendent and Deism, which holds that God is completely immanent. Therefore, the purpose of this article was written to provide readers with an understanding that the one God cannot be viewed only with one side, namely transcendent or immanent. But the one God is transcendent but at the same time He is also an immanent God. Therefore, the writer sees this from Kallistos Ware's point of view that there are two paradoxical truths of God, namely transcendent and immanent. So that this article becomes a frame for readers to understand the existence of one God, both transcendent and immanent.AbstrakPenelitian ini di latar belakangi oleh data yang digali penulis dari berbagai sumber dan penulis menemukan masalah dalam pemahaman tentang keberadaan Allah baik dalam kalangan para theolog maupun non-theolog, dimana seringkali keberadaan Allah transenden dan imanen dianggap tidak masuk akal, yang kontradiksi jika dua keberadaan ini sekaligus ada dalam diri Allah yang esa. Beberapa pandangan berbeda seperti Panteisme berpandangan Allah sepenuhnya Transenden dan Deisme berpadangan Allah sepenuhnya imanen. Oleh karena itu tujuan artikel ini ditulis untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada para pembaca bahwa Allah yang esa itu tidak dapat dipandang hanya dengan satu sisi saja yakni transenden atau imanen. Melainkan Allah yang esa itu transenden tetapi di saat yang sama Dia juga Allah yang imanen. Untuk itu penulis melihat hal ini dari sudut pandang Kallistos Ware bahwa ada dua kebenaran paradoks Allah yakni transenden dan imanen. Sehingga artikel ini menjadi bingkai bagi para pembaca dalam memahami keberadaan Allah yang esa baik transenden maupun imanen.

Abstract

Christian Religious Education is education that contains teaching Christian values to students. This teaching is certainly centered on Christ as an example and is based on the Bible as a guide. The purpose of this study is to find out how the paradigm of Christian Religious Education regarding teacher ethics and norms. It is important for a teacher to know the ethics and norms of the teacher as a reference in teaching. Because a teacher is a figure who is used as an example by students, both inside and outside the school environment. Unconsciously, the attitude, behavior, and speech of a teacher in the learning process have an influence on students. By knowing the ethics and norms of teachers, a teacher, especially Christian Religious Education teachers can understand and implement them in everyday life. The method in this research is qualitative with literature study. Research data obtained by analyzing data from journals and books. With the result that in Christian Religious Education, teachers must be able to understand and implement the ethics and norms of a teacher in order to be an example.AbstrakPendidikan Agama Kristen adalah pendidikan yang berisi pengajaran nilai-nilai Kristiani kepada siswa. Pengajaran ini tentunya berpusat kepada Kristus sebagai teladan dan didasarkan pada Alkitab sebagai pedomannya. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui bagaimana paradigma Pendidikan Agama Kristen mengenai etis dan norma guru. Penting bagi seorang guru untuk mengetahui etis dan norma guru sebagai acuan dalam mengajar. Karena seorang guru adalah sosok yang dijadikan teladan oleh siswa, baik didalam maupun luar lingkungan sekolah. Secara tidak sadar, sikap, perilaku, dan tutur kata seorang guru dalam proses pembelajaran memberikan pengaruh dalam diri siswa.  Dengan mengetahui etis dan norma guru, seorang guru, terutama guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen dapat memahami dan mengimplementasikannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Metode dalam penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif dengan studi literatur. Data penelitian didapatkan dengan cara analisa data dari jurnal-jurnal dan buku-buku. Dengan hasil bahwa dalam Pendidikan Agama Kristen, guru harus mampu memahami dan mengimplementasikan etis dan norma seorang guru untuk bisa menjadi teladan.

Abstract

The decision of several Baptist churches to start using contemporary singing and music in the early 2000s has caused controversy and has become a polemic in the Association of Indonesian Baptist Churches (GGBI). However, the trend of worship using contemporary songs and music is getting more widespread in Indonesian Baptist churches. This is the background of this research, which is to comprehensively investigate the factors behind the widespread trend of worship using contemporary songs and music in Indonesian Baptist churches. Thus, the formulation of the research problem is a study of the factors behind the widespread trend of worship using contemporary songs and music in Indonesian Baptist churches. This type of research is classified as a descriptive qualitative variety with a literature study. Data were obtained from various document sources such as books, magazines, articles, and scientific journals about worship, spiritual songs, and music. The results of the research found that the congregational government system, church planting, seminars and writings on worship and music, Baptist youth worship, and technological developments are factors behind the increasingly widespread trend of worship with contemporary singing and music in Indonesian Baptist churches.AbstrakKeputusan beberapa gereja Baptis yang mulai menggunakan nyanyian dan musik kontemporer di awal tahun 2000an telah menimbulkan kontroversi dan menjadi polemik di Gabungan Gereja-Gereja Baptis Indonesia (GGBI). Meskipun demikian, trend ibadah menggunakan nyanyian dan musik kontemporer justru semakin meluas di gereja-gereja Baptis Indonesia. Hal inlah yang melatarbelakangi dilakukannya riset ini, yaitu hendak menyelidiki secara komprehensif faktor-faktor yang melatarbelakangi semakin meluasnya trend ibadah menggunakan nyanyian dan musik kontemporer di gereja-gereja Baptis Indonesia. Dengan demikian, rumusan masalah riset ini adalah kajian tentang faktor-faktor yang melatarbelakangi semakin meluasnya trend ibadah menggunakan nyanyian dan musik kontemporer di gereja-gereja Baptis Indonesia. Jenis riset tergolong dalam ragam kualitatif deskriptif dengan studi literatur. Data diperoleh dari berbagai sumber dokumen seperti seperti buku, majalah, artikel dan jurnal-jurnal ilmiah tentang ibadah, nyanyian dan musik rohani. Hasil riset menemukan bahwa sistem pemerintahan kongregasional, perintisan jemaat, seminar dan karya tulisan tentang ibadah dan musik, ibadah kaum muda Baptis, serta perkembangan teknologi merupakan faktor-faktor yang melatarbelakangi semakin meluasnya trend ibadah dengan nyanyian dan musik kontemporer di gereja-gereja Baptis Indonesia.

Abstract

Myth is one of the legacies of past human culture that is still maintained in this increasingly modern era. Myths that are embraced and maintained by a community can sometimes provide value, but it does not rule out the possibility that myths also cause harm. This study aimed to measure the general picture related to the myths that are still believed by the people in Kupang. The method used was a quantitative method through a survey approach with a sample of 50 people. The data analysis technique used was descriptive statistical analysis through the calculation of the ideal mean, ideal standard deviation, and variable frequency distribution. The results of data analysis showed that the belief in myths in the research respondents was in the high category with a mean value of 80.16. The most widely believed type of myth is the environmental myth. The factors that influence respondents to believe in myths are the customary or traditional factors.AbstrakMitos adalah salah satu warisan dari kebudayaan manusia zaman lalu yang masih dipertahankan dalam pacuan zaman yang semakin modern. Mitos yang dianut dan dipertahankan oleh suatu komunitas masyarakat, kadangkala dapat memberikan nilai, namun tidak menutup kemungkinan bahwa mitos juga menimbulkan kerugian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur gambaran umum terkait mitos yang masih dipercayai oleh masyarakat di kota Kupang. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif melalui pendekatan survei dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 50 orang. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisa statistik deskriptif melalui perhitungan rerata ideal, standar deviasi ideal dan distribusi frekuensi variabel. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa kepercayaan terhadap mitos pada responden penelitian berada pada kategori tinggi dengan nilai mean sebesar 80,16. Jenis mitos yang paling banyak dipercaya adalah mitos lingkungan. Adapun faktor yang mempengaruhi responden mempercayai mitos adalah faktor adat atau tradisi.
