JPMI memiliki ruang lingkup nasional, mencakup berbagai topik seputar pemberdayaan kewirausahaan masyarakat yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan pengembangan dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Tujuan publikasi jurnal ini adalah untuk menyebarluaskan pemikiran-pemikiran dan gagasan-gagasan konseptual serta hasil-hasil penelitian yang telah dicapai dalam bidang pengabdian kepada dan pengembangan masyarakat. JPMI berisi berbagai gagasan, penemuan, dan hasil penelitian dari berbagai kegiatan yang dilakukan baik oleh para mahasiswa maupun dosen Universitas Prasetiya Mulya dan institusi lain dalam menangani dan mengelola berbagai potensi, kesulitan, tantangan dan beragam permasalahan terkait pengembangan wirausaha masyarakat yang diselenggarakan PPKM Universitas Prasetiya Mulya maupun institusi pendidikan atau lembaga lain. Kegiatan pengembangan masyarakat (Community Development) yang diselenggarakan PPKM Prasetiya Mulya dan institusi lain, dalam konteks lingkup jurnal ini, melibatkan masyarakat sebagai mitra dan bertujuan untuk pengembangan kesejahteraan masyarakat.

Abstract

The livelihoods of most residents in Lebak district are rainfed rice farming, gardening, in addition to raising goats. Many of the plantation commodities that generate income for the villagers in Lebak Regency include plantation products such as rubber, oil palm, cocoa, robusta coffee, sugar palm, cloves, coconut, hybrid coconut, pepper, pandan, tea, cashew nuts, vanilla, jatropha, jatropha, and Kapok. In addition, the difficulty of transportation in some areas of Lebak Regency makes it difficult for farmers to market their products. Electricity in Lebak is supplied by PLN continuously, but there are still some areas that have not been touched by electricity at all, so the residents still rely on oil lamps as a means of lighting at night. Phone and GPRS signal is still difficult. This condition is what causes the marketing of products produced by farmers or MSME actors is still marketed in their respective regions and even the barter process is still going on (exchanging goods). During the Covid-19 Pandemic, Slow Food MSME actors experienced a decline in sales due to a decline in people's purchasing power which was the effect of the covid-19 pandemic. From some of these problems, community service will provide training and socialization of the use of information technology, namely by providing knowledge on the use of Facebook social media as a means of marketing MSME products, with the aim that Slow Food MSME business actors can continue to market their products and increase people's purchasing power towards Slow Food MSME products. It is hoped that after participating in the training and socialization, Slow Food MSME business actors have an online buying and selling account through Facebook that is easy, effective, and safe so that they can increase product marketing not only in their own region, but also on a national and international scale.

Abstract

Kreativitas sangat diperlukan dalam banyak aspek kehidupan dan dalam menyelesaikan suatu permasalahan dengan cermat. Semakin tinggi tingkat kreativitas seseorang, maka semakin baik suatu permasalahan dapat diselesaikan. Oleh karenanya, pengembangan kreativitas harus dilakukan sejak usia dini. Namun sayangnya, dengan kondisi pandemi ini, ruang gerak anak menjadi terbatas dan tidak bebas seperti dulu. Anak-anak yang seharusnya juga dapat memperoleh ilmu baru di luar sekolah, menjadi terhambat karena ruang geraknya yang terbatas. Padahal, banyak hal yang dapat dipelajari anak ketika bermain, termasuk terkait kreativitas. Pengabidan Mahasiswa Kepada Masyarakat (PMKM) ini bertujuan untuk melakukan upaya peningkatan kreativitas sekaligus minat menabung anak-anak di TK Islam Nurul Hidayah, Tangerang Selatan melalui kegiatan menghias celengan dari kaleng bekas dan cangkang telur yang diberi warna. Kegiatan PMKM ini terlaksana sesuai dengan perencanaan dan berlangsung selama tiga hari. Hasil dari kegiatan PMKM ini adalah bertambahnya jumlah anak yang memiliki celengan dan mulai menabung serta meningkatnya kreativitas dalam memanfaatkan barang bekas pada anak-anak di TK Islam Nurul Hidayah, Tangerang Selatan.

Abstract

Community Development (COMDEV) activities at Prasetiya Mulya University are carried out with the aim of developing businesses and products produced by partners in collaboration with the University. Partners who collaborate with the University are majoring in film from Banjarmasin Vocational School. The challenge that is owned by SMK Banjarmasin is how to find the right target market but does not eliminate the strong Banjar regional culture. Films produced by partners so far have only been published in film festival competitions, so they are less profitable. Based on the situation analysis conducted by the group, several improvements have been made in terms of operations, marketing, human resources and finance. These improvement steps were realized with the existence of new social media and also the creation of a web series that was broadcast on Youtube with the concept of "Palui" which is one of the cultures in the Banjar area. Writing this journal aims to provide an overview of the problems that exist in film production at SMK Banjarmasin and corrective steps that can be taken to maximize the results of film production at SMK Banjarmasin.

Abstract

MSMEs have the potential to achieve economic growth, even distribution and labor income, create jobs, and overcome poverty in Indonesia. Therefore, it is necessary to empower and develop the potential of MSMEs whose perpetrators are recorded to reach 64.2 million and contribute more than half of the gross domestic product in 2021 through the PKM program. One of the biggest obstacles for MSME perpetrator is marketing their products by utilizing digital marketing which has a big impact as the times move towards modernity. So that education is needed on the use of appropriate media to market products from MSME perpetrator. From January to June 2022, in-depth interviews were conducted, it can be seen how much knowledge about digital marketing and based on the results of the interview, appropriate materials are made so that perpetrator can take advantage of technology and can independently develop their businesses. It turns out, perpetrator don't know much about digital marketing, so education is needed, from planning to execution. Through the provision of materials, partners can use social media as a platform to do digital marketing independently and their business can grow rapidly.

Abstract

The purpose of this study describes the management of pesantren cultural heritage by pesantren human resources which includes planning, recruitment, and evaluation of human resource development in pesantren. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The location of this study is in Pesantren Annuqayah Guluk-Guluk Sumenep. Data collection techniques using interview methods, documentation and observation. Informants in this study included pesantren caretakers and regional and central pesantren caretakers. The form of data in this study is primary data and secondary data obtained from informants and supporting documents. Analysis of data through descriptive analysis. The results showed that the cultural heritage of pesantren Annuqayah in the form of (1) manuscripts of books written by the caretakers of pesantren, Jami' Mosque, and grave the founder of pesantren Annuqayah; (2) the management of human resources in the management of pesantren heritage includes analysis of human resource development, recruitment process, education and training programs, formation of pesantren culture, as well as evaluations that are emphasized on changes in attitudes and behaviors in carrying out duties and responsibilities.

Abstract

MSME or micro, small, medium enterprise is a type of business that plays a very important role for Indonesia’s economy. Due to its large number, making sure that those businesses have decent performances will be a huge priority for the country in order to make a stable and active economy for its people. However, compared to businesses who carry out activities in big cities, there are also SMEs in rural areas who do not have the convenience and opportunities of those entrepreneurs with supporting facilities and knowledge. Which is why the group/writer, who’s a participant of the community development program, aims to provide assistance to MSMEs in the Cageur Village region in Kuningan in order to identify problems or constraints and try to formulate solutions so that the business’ performance increases. The results of mentoring showed that it had affected the business positively in various aspects such as improvements in marketing, operation and finance. The group focused on the discussion of analyzing the impact of product packaging development using several methods and found a correlation between the group’s improvisation on the business’ packaging and the increased interest of consumers buying the products.

Abstract

The impact of social media in assessing a product's brand strength can no longer be ignored. The purpose of this paper is to describe Sorai Steamboat n Grill's community service efforts. To make it easier for MSMEs to advertise their products, marketing kits in the shape of logos, business cards, posters, and other promotional media are created. A marketing kit is an effective instrument for initiating product promotion operations. The requirements research, planning, creation of marketing kits, and mentoring of MSMEs are all part of the community service stage.The marketing kit was created without a hitch owing to the proprietor of Sorai Steamboat n Grill's helpful cooperation. The number of Instagram followers grew, the brand was strengthened, and revenue increased as a result of this action.

Abstract

Gede Pangrango Village is one of the tourist villages that has natural beauty that makes many people interest to visit. But behind the beauty there are problems that make the natural beauty itself reduced due to waste management that has not been maximized. To reduce environmental damage, it is necessary to have community participation in waste management. This study aims to determine community participation in waste management with a waste management system and to find out the benefits resulting from the existence of waste management through several programs. This research is a type of field research or field research. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Methods of data collection in this study using observation, interviews, and documentation. Participants used in this study is representative of the Environment Agency, the village head, head of the local (RW), youth clubs and organizations in the village. The study states that waste management still in the unfavorable category, this is due to many factors: the lack of land for the construction of temporary shelters, facilities and infrastructures are not good enough and the level of public awareness is still low about the importance to manage waste properly.

Abstract

The main problems faced by partners in general are marketing problems; It is still limited and conventional and there is no integrated marketing between decorative fish cultivators. A solution to the main problem is the application of integrated marketing technology using joint marketing methods for decorative fish cultivators in Parigi Mekar Village, Ciseeng District. In particular, this program has the objective of increasing market reach for decorative fish cultivators through website media, and increasing sales effectiveness by creating decorative fish sales centers. The activity approach method is through a participatory approach. This approach emphasizes efforts to improve human quality in order to increase real participation in activities. Devotion provides value to farmers and creates a positive image of the partner's location as the largest ornamental fish producer in West Java through the Ornamental Fish Village brand. In addition, by implementing the program effectively and sustainably, the program can motivate cultivators to develop their cultivation results. Other support in the form of website-based digital marketing can also reach a wider market network which has an impact on creating connectedness between cultivators and outsiders.

Abstract

Human capitals in the computer field are required in the Industrial Era 4.0. Vocational schools (SMK) are aimed to produce graduates who are ready-to-use to work in industries. However, SMK graduates are one of the major contributors to high unemployment in Indonesia. Teachers with skills in the field of computer technology are scarce. In addition, the facilities and infrastructure are limited in many SMK schools, especially in rural areas. This community service activity was carried out at SMK Muhammadiyah Tirtayasa. The school is located in the northern coastal rural area of Serang Regency. This community service activity provided assistance to Computer Aided Design (CAD) skills by targeting teachers and students. CAD skills can provide skills for vocational graduates who will have careers in industry. The result showed an increase in the skills of participants in the field of 2D/3D CAD drawing. The activity was very fruitful and can be further followed up by both expanding the partner schools or integrating school curriculum which adopts CAD skills with the aim of developing further the CAD knowledge.
