Abstract

The Quran memorization program in formal educational institutions such as schools and madrasas is something new that is very unique and attracts the attention of the public. This is due to the general school label, which focuses on pure science fields, even though there are religious lessons in it, maybe only two to four hours a week. This study aims to describe the Tallaqi learning model at the Al Barokah Purwantoro Qur'an memorization Madrasah. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach where data and research involve the principal, vice principal for curriculum, person in charge of the Quran memorization program, Quran memorization teachers and students, which are collected through observation and interviews, the collected data are analyzed using thematic analysis. The results of the study showed that the Tallaqi learning model at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Tahfidzul Quran Al Barokah was used in the learning process with teacher arrangements, student arrangements, time and place of study arrangements and the design of Quran memorization learning using the Tallaqi method

Abstract

The perspective of adolescents is important because it affects the extent to which guidance and counseling services are beneficial to them. The effectiveness of guidance and counseling services heavily relies on how adolescents perceive the role of these services. Various studies indicate that adolescents' perspectives on guidance and counseling services are often lacking, necessitating further examination of their views on participation in such programs. This article aims to explore adolescents' perspectives on the role of guidance and counseling. The research method employs a descriptive approach with qualitative methods. Data collection involves observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of this study are individuals in the adolescent development stage, selected through random sampling. The results show that adolescents predominantly have a positive perspective towards guidance and counseling, as evidenced by the numerous sources agreeing that these services are important for them. Adolescents tend to view guidance and counseling as a source of guidance, advice, and direction that helps them resolve their issues.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the causes and reasons behind smoking behavior in adolescents, which has become a compulsive behavior. The research method used is qualitative, employing a descriptive phenomenological approach. The findings reveal two factors contributing to the compulsive smoking behavior in adolescents, categorized into five aspects: knowledge about cigarettes, attitudes, the influence of cigarette advertisements, peer pressure, and family. It can be concluded that smoking behavior in adolescents is influenced by various factors that increase the prevalence of smoking and lead to compulsive behavior. In this study, peer influence has a significant impact on smoking behavior among adolescents

Abstract

Islamic moderation has become an essential principle for achieving social harmony and religious tolerance in modern society. The application of moderation values in Hizbul Wathan activities still needs to be further explored, especially regarding the understanding of Quranic verses that support moderate attitudes, such as in QS. Ibrahim verse 24. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study and library research approach. The library research approach is conducted to see how the character of Islamic moderation in QS Ibrahim verse 24. The purpose of this research is to understand the values of Islamic moderation in the Hizbul Wathan activities at Muhammadiyah Al-Mujahidin Islamic Boarding School in Gunungkidul, which can shape moderate character based on QS Ibrahim verse 24. The results of this research reveal that the Hizbul Wathan activities at Al-Mujahidin Islamic Boarding School in Gunungkidul are capable of instilling Islamic moderation education in line with the values of moderate character in QS Ibrahim verse 24. The value of "kalimat thayyibah," symbolized as a tree with strong roots and towering branches, is manifested in the character of the students through the development of attitudes of tolerance, justice, and openness in interactions.

Abstract

In the era of digital transformation, fundraising through donations is no longer limited to donation boxes or collections conducted by philanthropic organizations or similar social institutions. Currently, social organizations are leveraging digital platforms to sustain donation funds through online innovations. This allows us to contribute donations anytime and anywhere. This research aims to analyze the social behavior related to the interest in charitable giving through electronic donations. The research method used in this study is qualitative, with a questionnaire distributed to a maximum of 30 respondents interested in donating through electronic donations. The results of this study indicate a high level of interest in making ZIS payments digitally, as it is more practical and flexible to use.

Abstract

This research aims to understand character education from the perspective of KH. Hasyim Asyi’ari for Generation Z as found in the book Adabul Alim Wa Mutaalim, by considering the achievement of seven values contained in character education for teachers for Generation Z and character education for Generation Z. The development of the times has led to an increase in moral degradation, which can hinder growth and become an issue in achieving the nation's ideals. This research falls under the category of library research, and the data analysis used in this study is content analysis, which aims to conclude an effort to identify message characteristics, conducted objectively and systematically. The results of this study indicate that there are seven aspects, namely purifying intentions, patience, contentment, asceticism, humility, piety, and avoiding filth and immorality, which when viewed from the perspective of character education by KH. Hasyim Asy'ari can be well achieved for Generation Z.

Abstract

This study explores Siti Walidah's contribution to shaping the education paradigm based on the Catur Pusat Pendidikan and its relevance to modern Islamic gender discourse. The topic highlights the critical role of women in achieving gender equality, addressing challenges like unequal education access and entrenched gender stereotypes. Using a library research method with descriptive-qualitative analysis, the study finds that the Catur Pusat Pendidikan promotes quality education for women and empowers them to engage actively in social and political spheres. However, challenges such as gender bias and limited infrastructure hinder its implementation. Despite these obstacles, significant prospects for progress exist, particularly through technology and multi-stakeholder collaboration. The study underscores the importance of inclusive, high-quality education for women and advocates for sustained efforts to transform traditional gender paradigms. Recommendations include expanding educational access in remote areas and equipping women with digital skills to enhance their participation in the modern era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategy of the Surabaya City Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) in increasing public participation as a preventive effort in supervising the 2024 Pilkada. Bawaslu uses a collaborative governance approach that involves non-government actors in decision-making and utilizes digital technology through the Sigaplapor platform to facilitate reporting of election violations. The use of social media and training for volunteer supervisors are also part of this strategy. The results of the study show that public participation through a collaborative approach and digital technology has succeeded in strengthening election supervision. However, there are still challenges in the form of limited digital literacy and resistance from certain political actors. This policy requires increasing digital literacy, strengthening cooperation with law enforcement, and increasing digital security to ensure the sustainability of inclusive, transparent, and accountable election supervision.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic business ethics principles in business transactions at  Reni's store. Islamic business ethics emphasizes principles such as justice, the prohibition of usury and exploitation, honesty, and the ban of deceit in business activities, which are essential for creating fair and blessed transactions. Data were collected using a descriptive qualitative approach, observation, and direct interviews with the shop owner and several customers. The results show that  Reni's Store strives to apply the values of Islamic business ethics, such as transparency in pricing, honesty in transactions, and openness to customers. Although there are still challenges in daily practices, such as economic pressures and price competition, the implementation of these ethics has a positive impact on customer trust and business sustainability. This research is expected to provide valuable insights to small business owners in understanding the importance of Islamic business ethics in enhancing the blessings and sustainability of their businesses

Abstract

This research aims to analyze how the principle of good faith is applied in the making of business contracts, from its interpretation to its effectiveness from a civil law perspective. This research will analyze two main issues of this study, namely how the principle of good faith is recognized and applied in the formation, execution, and interpretation of business contracts, and how its application in the context of business contracts helps promote the creation of justice and legal certainty in the contracts made. This research demonstrates the role of the principle good faith based of the principle of utmost good faith or uberrimae fidei, which enhances trust and fairness the parties and reduces the occurrence of disputes between the parties during the contract period and prioritize legal certainty. Therefore, this research suggests the application of the principle of good faith as the main principle in the formation and execution of business contracts. The principle of good faith can serf as a benchmark for the wether of the contract is feasible or not to be executed
