Abstract

Background: Medicine is a substance that through its chemical effects brings about changes in biological functions. The GRDDS delivery system is a sustained drug delivery system that can hold drugs back in the stomach for a longer time. The advantages of GRDDS include being able to increase bioavailability, increase the solubility of drugs that are poorly soluble in high pH, can control of therapeutic levels to reduce the occurrence of fluctuations, can extend the half-life so that the frequency of drug administration can be reduced. Objectives: This study aims to describe the types of GRDDS preparations. The variation is due to a combination of differences in mechanisms and technology. Method: The design in this study uses a systematic review of the review process that identifies, assesses, and interprets all findings on a research topic. Result: Floating systems can use expandable polymeric materials such as HPMC and chitosan. The floating mechanism begins with the contact of gastric juices with tablets which causes the polymer to hydrate to form a gel layer that can withstand CO2 gas formed due to the interaction of sodium bicarbonate with citric acid so that the tablets can expand and can float. The oral drug delivery route is the most preferred because it is easy to use. Absorption of oral drugs mostly occurs in the stomach and the intestines. Conclusion: Therefore, it is necessary to have a drug delivery system that can extend the contact time with the stomach, namely the Gastroretentive Drug Delivery System (GRDDS).

This problem then also causes other problems such as the high employee turnover rate which has now become a separate problem for many companies. The high employee turnover rate experienced by a company can be predicted by how much desire to move company members have to other companies. PT. XYZ is one of the Islamic banking companies that has experienced an increase in the turnover rate of its employees from year to year. XYZ. Method: This study used a non-probability sampling technique with the sample used being 70 permanent employees through the distribution of questionnaires. Results: This study found that job satisfaction does not mediate the effect of workload on turnover intention, but job satisfaction can mediate the variable of the compensation system against turnover intention in PT. XYZ. Conclusion: PT. XYZ has not been able to provide a workload that is by the abilities of its employees, coupled with compensation that is not by the workload that is fished so as to reduce the level of employee work loss which ultimately increases the intensity of employee turnover intention at PT. XYZ.

Abstract

Background: Inner ear decompression sickness (IEDCS) is a common disease in divers. In Indonesia, IEDCS is often experienced by diver fishermen in fulfilling their daily needs. In general, decompression sickness (DCS) is caused by the formation of gas bubbles in blood vessels and organ tissues. This is due to the deposition of gas bubbles in the endolymphatic and perilymphatic spaces during the process of their rapid rise to the surface. Objective: This study aims to identify IEDCS disease in divers. Method: This study used a qualitative approach with a case study model that analyzes and identifies the symptoms that appear in divers suffering from IEDCS. Result: Symptoms of classic IEDCS develop in about 30 minutes and are vestibular, these include vertigo, ataxia, nausea, and vomiting. The preferred therapy that can be given to people with DCS and IEDCS is hyperbaric oxygen therapy (recompression therapy) immediately. Complications are rare after hyperbaric oxygen therapy. After therapy and DCS sufferers recover, there will usually still be residual deficits in balance and hearing. Diving according to protocol and providing information about DCS through education, counseling, or other media needs to be done for at-risk groups to create knowledge that is relevant and can take precautions. Conclusion: The disease of decompression of the part ear is common in compressed gas divers. This is due to the deposition of gas bubbles in the endolymphatic and perilymphatic chambers during the process of rising to the surface quickly.
