Abstract

The transformation of the modern workplace has created increasing challenges for Generation Z workers, including digital disruption, career uncertainty, work-related pressure, and evolving organizational expectations. This study aims to systematically examine the development of research on Generation Z resilience in the workplace, identify dominant thematic clusters, explore the factors influencing resilience, analyze its impacts on psychological and workplace outcomes, and determine future research directions. This study employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach guided by the PRISMA framework. Relevant articles were collected from academic databases and analyzed using thematic synthesis and VOSviewer visualization to identify keyword networks, research clusters, and emerging trends. The findings reveal that resilience is a central concept strongly associated with stress, burnout, mental health, employee well-being, work engagement, mindfulness, emotional intelligence, and occupational health. The literature indicates that Generation Z workplace resilience is influenced by three major factors: individual resources (mindfulness, self-compassion, emotional intelligence, and grit), organizational support (respectful communication, leadership, and psychological safety climate), and workplace challenges (stress, insecurity, and workload intensity). Resilience contributes to reducing burnout and psychological distress while enhancing well-being, work engagement, and career adaptability. This study concludes that Generation Z workplace resilience is a multidimensional construct shaped by the interaction between personal capabilities and organizational environments. Future research should develop integrative theoretical models and apply longitudinal, qualitative, and mixed-method approaches to gain a deeper understanding of resilience development among Generation Z workers.

Abstract

Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) implementation in the electricity transmission sector remains a critical issue due to the high level of workplace risks, including electrical hazards, work at heights, and dynamic field conditions. Strengthening OSH practices requires an understanding of the factors influencing workers’ safety behavior. This study aims to identify and examine the factors affecting OSH implementation in the electricity transmission sector by analyzing the relationships among safety knowledge, safety culture, safety leadership, safety attitude, and safety citizenship behavior. A quantitative approach was employed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 125 employees and outsourced personnel within the transmission management unit of PT PLN (Persero). The research model was evaluated through measurement model and structural model assessments, including validity, reliability, coefficient of determination (R²), predictive relevance (Q²), effect size, goodness-of-fit evaluation, and hypothesis testing using bootstrapping analysis. The results indicate that seven out of the eight proposed hypotheses were supported. Safety knowledge, safety leadership, and safety attitude significantly influenced safety citizenship behavior, with safety leadership demonstrating the strongest effect on safety culture (? = 0.575), and safety attitude significantly affecting safety citizenship behavior (? = 0.544). However, safety culture did not significantly influence safety attitude. The findings highlight that improving OSH implementation requires strengthening safety leadership, enhancing safety knowledge, and developing positive safety attitudes among workers. This study provides strategic recommendations for improving safety programs and supporting the achievement of zero accidents in the electricity transmission sector.

Abstract

Gas turbine generator (GTG) assets in upstream oil and gas facilities play an important role in ensuring a continuous power supply for production processes. However, aging equipment, declining reliability, increasing maintenance costs, and limited spare parts availability have become major challenges in maintaining operational efficiency. Meanwhile, the utilization of idle assets provides an opportunity to optimize existing resources, reduce the need for new investments, and support emission reduction targets. This study aims to determine the most suitable alternative for utilizing idle GTG assets at the CPPG Power Plant of PT ABC by integrating technical, economic, operational, policy, and environmental considerations. The research employed a case study approach using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. Data were collected through field observations, technical interviews, focus group discussions, operational documents, maintenance records, cost assessments, fuel consumption data, and expert judgments from ten subject matter experts. The results showed that technical criteria had the highest priority weight of 0.317, followed by economic criteria (0.259), operability criteria (0.189), environmental criteria (0.138), and policy criteria (0.096). The AHP synthesis identified AL3, which involved the relocation of two GTGs from Field T and one GTG from Field L, as the optimal alternative with a priority value of 0.391. This alternative provides an 11 MW output capacity, the lowest estimated maintenance and operational cost of USD 48.04 million, and the highest potential reduction in fuel consumption by 1.05 MMSCFD and CO?e emissions by approximately 22,574 tons/year. In conclusion, the AHP-based decision model effectively supports strategic idle asset utilization decisions by balancing operational reliability, economic efficiency, and environmental sustainability.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effects of individual, organizational, and work environment factors on employee safety compliance in the implementation of Corporate Life Saving Rules (CLSR) and to formulate strategic recommendations for improving implementation effectiveness. The study employed a quantitative approach using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 174 workers and work partners involved in high-risk activities. The results indicated that Safety Climate, Safety Knowledge, and Safety Motivation had positive and significant effects on Safety Compliance in CLSR implementation. Safety Leadership did not directly affect Safety Compliance but played an important role in enhancing Safety Motivation, Risk Perception, and Safety Knowledge, which support safe work behavior. In addition, Workload and Work Schedule were found to have negative effects on Safety Motivation. This study concluded that improving worker compliance with CLSR requires an integrated approach involving the strengthening of safety climate, enhancement of safety knowledge, development of safety leadership, and management of work environment factors that influence workers’ motivation to engage in safe behaviors. These findings contribute theoretically to the development of safety compliance models in the upstream oil and gas industry and provide a foundation for developing strategies to improve CLSR implementation in support of achieving the Zero Fatality target.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the role of Vespa Pustaka as a communication medium for community literacy-based human development in Cirebon. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and documentation. The research informants consisted of the founder of the Vespa Pustaka community, beneficiaries, and community partners. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model, which involved data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that Vespa Pustaka functions as a non-formal literacy innovation capable of increasing reading interest, expanding access to knowledge, and encouraging community social participation through literacy activities in public spaces. The communication process integrates interpersonal communication, digital media, and community collaboration, thereby strengthening the diffusion of literacy values within the community. The innovation adoption process occurs gradually through the stages of knowledge, persuasion, decision, implementation, and confirmation. Furthermore, a social system based on mutual cooperation values and volunteer support strengthens the sustainability of activities, although challenges remain, including limited volunteer availability and weather-related constraints. In conclusion, Vespa Pustaka not only provides reading access but also serves as a communication medium for human development that contributes to strengthening literacy capacity and community participation in Cirebon.
