Abstract

Many students' difficulties in learning early algebra are associated with deficiencies in learning during the student's transition from arithmetic to algebra. relational thinking; a way of thinking that can be a gateway to algebraic thinking, is touted as one of the solutions to these difficulties. This study aims to determine the profile of relational thinking and early algebra problem solving strategies for junior high school students. Through the phenomenological design, the researcher selected six participants who fit the research criteria. The data analyzed refers to several theoretical frameworks on relational thinking from several experts. This study focuses on the indicators of interpreting the equals sign , using the relationship between numbers and applying the basic properties of number operations, as well as the methods students use in solving initial algebraic problems (algebraic forms and linear equations of one variable). As a result and its implication, students' relational thinking is seen in several items, namely the first 3 indicator items: each item is seen in S1, S4, and S6; The second 2 indicator items are visible on the S4; and the third 3 indicator items are seen in S1. The majority of subjects do computing dominantly and or apply the nature of operations based on procedural knowledge. Similarly, in solving early algebra problems, it was found that the dominant tendency of students to consider algebraic expressions from a procedural perspective rather than a structural perspective (based on mathematical concepts or structures). From these results, it is deemed necessary to develop relational thinking since students study arithmetic in elementary school, including by familiarizing students with number sentences in various forms and encouraging understanding of mathematical structures (relationships between elements and understanding of the nature of number operations).

Abstract

Introduction: Based on the division of the anatomical region of the body, the abdominal region is the third most frequently traumatized region, which is about 8% of all trauma cases. At RSUPN CM Jakarta, abdominal trauma ranks second after the head and neck region as a cause of death due to trauma. This study aims to determine the problems in the DCS action on the SAT. Provide objective data regarding issues in DCS actions on SAT at the ER at the CM Hospital. Method: This study uses a retrospective study method with a descriptive study. The number of samples used is the total population observed. Result: 4 factors influencing mortality from severe trauma, namely; (1). The degree of severity of the trauma, (2). Host factor (host), (3). When definitive action is taken, and (4). Quality of trauma care. Of the four factors, only factors 3 and 4 can be handled in the ER of the CM Hospital, while factors 1 and 2 are factors beyond the hospital's reach. Trauma management in pre-hospital care requires a more comprehensive approach for medical personnel who assist patients and their families. Five of the 6 cases carried out by DCS died. Whereas the Ps value of the 6 cases is more than 50%. This can describe the condition of handling DCS in SAT patients at CM Hospital is not good. Conclusion: The condition of DCS handling in SAT cases is influenced by pre-hospital care, treatment in the ER, surgical techniques and treatment in the ICU. Pre-hospital care for the 6 cases was very slow, DCS decisions were not on site, operating techniques did not pay attention to triad of death indicators and handling in the ICU was less integrated with other departments.

Abstract

Agrarian conflicts can occur between individuals and individuals or individuals with groups or business entities as well as with the government. Throughout 2020, there were 241 cases of agrarian conflict found. The existence of the Job Creation Law which also regulates land contains provisions for the existence of a Land Bank as an institution that can shelter abandoned lands of the state to be used for the prosperity of the people. In fact, a number of problems were found regarding the existence of this Land Bank which tends not to be able to bridge agrarian conflicts between parties. This study aims to describe how ineffective the Land Bank is in resolving agrarian conflicts. This research is a normative legal research with a qualitative approach. The results showed that the existence of a Land Bank with a non-profit principle actually benefited the private sector who wanted to use the land through the Land Bank. The absence of a Government Regulation concerning Land Bank also means that this institution does not yet have a legal umbrella to run. Utilization of abandoned land that can be taken by the state just like that is also considered to be impartial to the existence of farmers as small people, then it was found. in the control of a Land Bank, the benefits can be enforced and used in accordance with the actual procedure
