Abstract

ABSTRAK The legal literacy and numeracy literacy skills of students at MI Nurul Huda Jelu still need to be improved. One of the contributing factors is the inability of teachers to integrate these optimally. This study aims to implement strengthening training in order to support the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at MI Nurul Huda Jelu. This training is aimed at improving teachers' abilities in integrating legal literacy and numeracy in the classroom learning process. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The evaluation of this training is in the form of a test sheet. The results of the question training show that the abilities of students, with an average score of students in the legal literacy question training being 93, while in the numeracy literacy work the average score of students was 56. Students and teachers who take part in this training are expected to be able to compile and implement more contextual and relevant learning according to the needs of students. The suggestion from this community service activity is that teachers are consistently expected to apply and integrate learning with the legal literacy system and numeracy literacy in the learning process. Abstract

Tambaksawah Village, Sidoarjo, is an industrial village that has the potential to improve the quality of life. However, this village faces obstacles, such as the limited skills of village officials using Microsoft Excel and the minimal application of technology in village institutions. Community service programs using Microsoft Excel are useful in supporting village administration efficiency and encouraging productivity. The methods include on-site training, group mentoring, international certification, and certification exams. Training followed by mentoring is carried out for one month. The evaluation results show an increase in the average score from 50.4 to 60.16, which shows an increase the understanding of participants. Apart from 7 participants, only 5 participants succeeded in obtaining official certificates. This activity succeeded in improving participants' skills in operating Microsoft Excel, so it is hoped that this can be the first step to advancing technological capacity and can help in developing Tambaksawah Village.

Abstract

Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) Sumber Hidup Ngeper merupakan lembaga ekonomi desa yang didirikan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat desa. Permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah kurangnya keterampilan dan pemahaman pengelola BUMDes dalam menjalankan operasional usaha serta pemutakhiran data dan updating data. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan SDM di BUMDes Sumber Hidup dalam hal manajemen usaha dan pengelolaan data, serta mengoptimalkan proses pemutakhiran data yang dapat mendukung transparansi dan akuntabilitas dalam pengelolaan BUMDes. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan program ini meliputi pelatihan langsung kepada pengelola BUMDes, penyuluhan mengenai pentingnya pemutakhiran data, serta penerapan sistem informasi berbasis digital yang memudahkan pengelolaan data secara real-time. Hasil dari pengabdian ini menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kapasitas SDM BUMDes Sumber Hidup, terutama dalam hal pengelolaan usaha dan pemutakhiran data. Monitoring dan evaluasi berkala terhadap hasil program juga penting dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi kendala yang muncul dan memastikan keberlanjutan program ini dalam mendukung pengembangan ekonomi desa.

Abstract

The impact of gadget use on the social and economic behavior of school-age children is very complex and requires serious attention from various groups, especially parents, educators and the community. It is acknowledged that gadgets can provide benefits in terms of access to information and education, but uncontrolled use can cause various social and emotional problems. This community service activity is about educating the impact of using gadgets on the socio-economic behavior of elementary school aged children at SD Negeri 1 Ambon which is expected to shape the character of students who have creativity and cognitive abilities in using gadgets responsibly. This socialization activity was carried out on October 31 2024 using an outreach method attended by 50 grade 5 and grade 6 students. The results of this socialization activity showed an increase in understanding of using gadgets responsibly and students were able to answer questions well from the presenters.

Abstract

Vocational High School students, particularly who majoring in Visual Communication Design, often encounter difficulties in understanding and applying fundamental typography principles such as choosing right font, size, letter spacing, and layout. Furthermore, despite familiarity with design software, many students have yet fully master the features related to typography. This training aims to enhance both comprehension and practical skills of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang students in digital typography through the utilization of Adobe Illustrator software. The training materials cover typography introduction, the selection of appropriate fonts, layout arrangement and their application in Visual Communication Design. The training methods employed include demonstrations, practice and group discussions. The result of the typography training show a considerable improvement in students’ understanding and ability to create attractive and professional magazine cover as an outcome. This initiative is anticipated to equip students with the relevant skills to the needs of current creative industry in digital era.

Abstract

This Community Service activity aimed to enhance early childhood education (ECE) teachers’ understanding and skills in managing Loose Parts-based learning media in Mollo Selatan Subdistrict, Timor Tengah Selatan Regency. The methods involved workshops and intensive mentoring with 42 participants. The results demonstrated improved understanding and skills in integrating Loose Parts into the Merdeka Curriculum, positively impacting children's creativity and learning experiences. This program is expected to provide sustainable solutions for ECE learning innovations.

Abstract

The literature closely links the concepts of participatory waste management (PSP) and circular economy (SE). SE in waste management aims to reduce waste, increase resource efficiency, and create a closed cycle for waste management, that need PSP. A clear policy framework is necessary to achieve it. Problem formulations of this research; the current waste policy framework's application, the extent of PSP and EM concepts in the policy framework, and (c) the implementation and the recommendations for these concepts in Malang City waste policy. This study employs the qualitative data analysis method to analyse waste management policy documents, focusing on thematic analysis. The evolution of policies in Malang City is more dynamic compared to the national level, particularly in adapting to rapidly changing conditions related to existing waste generation. While, the PSP-ES concept receives limited accommodation, where waste management still implements end-of-pipe practices, despite the government’s effort to implement 3R.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This Community Service Activity aims to improve students' technical skills in robotics while supporting SDGs, especially quality education and technological innovation. Training includes robotics assembly, programming, and applications, with an interactive approach tailored to the curriculum. The program begins with the identification of partner schools with limited resources, followed by coordination and preparation of training modules. Students learn basic robotics theory including the principles of electronics, mechanics, and programming, as well as the practice of assembling and programming robots in small groups. Internal competitions are held to test students' abilities and motivate them to solve problems creatively. The main challenges include limited facilities and time, overcome by adjusting materials and schedules. Evaluations show significant improvements in student skills, with creative innovations in technology-based solutions to support SDGs. The program has succeeded in generating students' interest in technology, providing a strong foundation for similar programs in the future, and encouraging collaboration between education and industry.

Abstract

Pelatihan teknik pengolahan makanan tradisional bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan dan meningkatkan pemahaman siswa SD Citra Berkat Surabaya terhadap kuliner tradisional Indonesia. Masalah yang dihadapi adalah kurangnya kesadaran dan pengetahuan siswa tentang bahan baku, teknik pengolahan, serta apresiasi terhadap makanan tradisional sebagai warisan budaya lokal. Untuk menanamkan apresiasi budaya lokal dan menggali potensi kreatvitas siswa dalam kuliner tradisional, program ini dirancang dengan metode pelaksanaan secara praktis dan interaktif yang mencakup ceramah dan diskusi dilaksanakan di kelas, sedangkan demonstrasi dan praktik langsung dilaksanakan di laboratorium kitchen yang menjelaskan pengenalan bahan baku tradisional, teknik pengolahan makanan, serta pengembangan kreativitas siswa. Hasil kegiatan pelatihan selama + 3 jam pada siswa SD tersebut menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pada pemahaman dan ketrampilan siswa terhadap bahan baku dan teknik pengolahan makanan tradisional, serta inovasi siswa dalam menciptakan variasi makanan dengan kreativitas masing-masing, dan meningkatnya minat terhadap peluang di industri kuliner. Program ini efektif menanamkan apresiasi budaya sejak dini melalui pendekatan praktis. Dengan hasil positif tersebut, kegiatan ini direkomendasikan untuk dilaksanakan secara berkelanjutan dengan cakupan materi yang lebih luas.

Abstract

High-risk pregnancy is a condition that can affect the condition of the mother and fetus in the pregnancy at hand, in the Kertosari Puskesmas work area there are many cases of pregnant women with high risk, including: anaemia. Pregnancy is too young, the mother is too old to get pregnant, the distance of pregnancy is too close, pregnancy is more than 3 children, HB is too high during pregnancy, this pregnancy risk condition can cause anxiety during pregnancy. Self-healing technique is a process of treatment or healing that is done by oneself through a process that is believed by oneself and also supported by the environment and external factors that support it. This self-healing can be done according to the things that the mother likes. This community service is carried out by providing training to cadre mothers which is carried out by pre and post test methods. Women cadres who have attended training on self-healing techniques have good knowledge and it is hoped that women cadres can assist pregnant women with high risk by using hypnotherapy self-healing techniques in dealing with anxiety during the pregnancy process.
