Abstract

Salah satu inisiatif pemerintah dalam bidang pendidikan, pemberantasan buta huruf, merupakan upaya mengentaskan masyarakat dari kemiskinan dan kebodohan. Ketidakmampuan membaca dan menulis disebut buta huruf. Hal ini dialami oleh siswa SD Negeri Padang-Padang. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan strategi pengajaran membaca mana yang paling berhasil dalam menurunkan buta huruf di Desa Bonto Tiro. Anak-anak buta huruf di SD Negeri Padang-Padang dijadikan sebagai sumber data dalam penelitian ini. Kegiatan ini diawali dengan teknik membaca untuk mengaplikasikan materi pelatihan yang ditawarkan. Setiap peserta yang buta huruf berlatih membaca. Metode ini digunakan agar peserta didik mendapatkan pengajaran pendidikan yang berkualitas, sehingga menjadi warga negara yang produktif dan meningkatkan kualitas hidupnya. Temuan penelitian ini mengungkap informasi mengenai pemahaman siswa SD Negeri Padang-Padang terhadap strategi, metode, dan pendekatan membaca. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan menggunakan taktik, pendekatan, dan metode yang berguna dalam membaca. Seluruh kegiatan yang direncanakan berhasil dilaksanakan, dengan bantuan yang sangat baik dari seluruh pemangku kepentingan

Abstract

Budaya evaluasi program pendidikan berbasis data perlu diinisiasi salah satunya melalui studi penelusuran (tracer study). Tracer study berfungsi untuk melacak keadaan lulusan (alumni), mengukur relevansi kurikulum pendidikan, perbaikan kualitas pendidikan dan pengelolaan Kerjasama dengan alumni. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pembuatan tracer study pada guru MA-Al-Khoirot. Program pelatihan dan pendampingan menggunakan beberapa metode. Metode yang disampaikan diantaranya presentasi, diskusi, dan praktik. Melibatkan beberapa metode pelatihan dapat mengatasi keterbatasan dari satu metode dengan lainnya. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan pengetahuan tentang urgensi program dengan ukuran efek besar. Pelatihan juga telah sesuai dengan desain program yang telah sesuai dengan mempertimbangkan kebutuhan dan konteks lokal sehingga mendapat keberterimaan dan efektivitas yang tinggi. Secara umum, kegiatan pengabdian sukses diselenggarakan. Terbentuk dan terlaksananya pengumpulan data oleh tim ad-hoc tracer juga telah sesuai dengan kebutuhan institusi.

Abstract

This article discusses increasing the capacity of teachers' human resources (HR) through training in using the Bamboozle and Quizziz digital platforms in interactive learning. The main problem faced is the lack of teacher skills in using educational technology, which has an impact on the level of student participation in the learning process which is still low. The aim of this research is to improve teachers' skills in utilizing digital platforms to create more dynamic and participatory learning. The method used is intensive training involving theory sessions and direct practice for teachers at SMA Negeri 3 Palangka Raya. The results of the training showed a significant increase in teacher skills, which had a positive impact on student engagement during the teaching and learning process. The conclusion of this article is that integrating technology such as Bamboozle and Quizziz can be an effective solution to face the challenges of the digital era, including creating an interactive and more interesting learning environment.

Abstract

Usaha Kesehatan Sekolah dapat dilaksanakan di semua jenjang pendidikan termasuk Taman Kanak-kanak. Implementasi trias UKS di Kecamatan Gunungpati dihadapkan pada minimnya penguatan materi terkait kesehatan sehingga layanan kesehatan di sekolah menjadi terbatas. Tujuan pengabdian adalah untuk mengoptimalkan trias UKS dengan mengadaptasi pedoman WHO terkait layanan kesehatan sekolah. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan sosialisasi pada guru TK melalui buku sebagai panduan trias UKS dengan mengadaptasi delapan area kesehatan dalam WHO Guideline on School Health Service dan pengayaan materi bagi guru TK melalui workshop. Hasil sosialisasi menunjukkan rerata skor keberhasilan penyelenggaraan skor 8.6 dan rerata skor kebermanfaatan materi sebesar 9.5 pada rentang 1-10. Keberlanjutan sosialisasi melalui pendampingan diperlukan guna implementasi layanan trias UKS yang berkualitas.

Abstract

The Women Farmers Group (KWT) Kenanngga Ngestiharjo faces the problem of low levels namely agricultural productivity due to pest attacks and unutilized agricultural waste. This topic was chosen to explore the use of grade C papaya and rotten papaya as biostimulants, as well as fallen papaya leaves as biopesticides because the use of local materials can increase agricultural yields in a sustainable manner. The methods used include training and assistance in making biostimulants and biopesticides from papaya. The results showed that the use of grade C and rotten papaya was effective in increasing plant growth, while papaya leaves were proven to reduce pest attacks. These findings provide practical solutions for farmers to manage agriculture more environmentally friendly. In conclusion, the use of papaya waste has great potential to increase productivity and reduce dependence on chemical pesticides

Abstract

Majelis taklim Al-Urwah merupakan mitra kegiatan pengabdian yang terdiri dari ibu-ibu rumah tangga yang belum produktif secara finansial ,salah satu program kerjanya yaitu membina dan memperdayakan anggotanya dengan memberikan keterampilan melalui pelatihan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan  memberikan keterampilan  mengolah jahe menjadi permen melalui pelatihan partisipatif.  Kegiatan  dilaksanakan diawali dengan penyuluhan materi pelatihan  kemudian pelatihan secara langsung pembuatan permen  jahe dan pelatihan pengemasan produk secara higienis dan menarik.  selanjutnya  dilakukan diskusi dan  diberikan kuesioner terkait produk permen dengan lima parameter. Hasil kegiatan ini dengan peningkatan keterampilan cara pembuatan permen jahe dan pengemasan produk yang menarik dan higiensi dan terdapat produk permen jahe yang siap untuk  dikomersilkan dan diaplikasikan oleh ibu-ibu majelis taklim Al-Urwah.

Abstract

Long-term exposure to digital screens is a main factor in the incidence of Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS). This phenomenon is due to the rapid use of computers, gadgets, and other electronic devices. This service aims to mapping and educating eye fatigue, irritation, dry eyes, and visual impairment as symptoms of Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS). This community service uses the Participatory Approach method on 60 participants at the Public Company Jasa Tirta I, Malang City. This service has been permitted through No.0007/UM/VP SDK/VII/2024. Education is carried out using Dale's Cone of Experience theory with a combination of lectures and stimulation. Participants generally experienced myopia refractive error. In addition, there was an increase in participant knowledge reaching 60.42%. These findings confirm that a service-based educational approach can be an effective method in addressing digital health issues

Abstract

ABSTRACT Education is an intentional activity and process that has begun to be recognized as a necessity by the wider community. According to the law, education is the right of every citizen, including citizens with disabilities. In the government regulations regarding the admission of new students, it is also stated that every school is required to accept students with disabilities. The government regulation has indeed been implemented by the education department with the establishment of inclusive schools; however, the understanding of the implementation of inclusive education is still not comprehensive. The main issue in the implementation of inclusive education is the lack of human resources and parental awareness regarding the support for children with disabilities. This community service activity aims to assist schools and parents with children with special needs so that they can provide optimal services to those special needs students. services can be provided by offering integrated support between schools and families, with the use of media. The community service activities were carried out through stages of socialization, training, technology implementation, evaluation, and program sustainability. The results of these community service activities show an increase in teachers' knowledge of learning instruments, an increase in parental support for children with special needs, and the sustainability of the program with an improvement in the quality of learning in inclusive schools, especially for students with special needs.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Fertile soil makes Puuroda village one of the food barn centers of Kolaka district with superior products of organic rice cap Anoa, besides that there is an organic study center managed by the Organic Farmers Association (ASPOK) of Puuroda village with exceptional products such as Jamu busset, flower telang tea by indah, rosela flower fresh drinks, rengginang mentik Susu (Remensu). However, the superior products in the village do not yet have an Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) certificate registered with the Directorate General of Intellectual Property. This community service aims to socialize intellectual property rights for superior products in Purooda village. The results of this community service activity are an understanding of the IPR category, brand naming, brands that cannot be registered, brand registration functions, protection of brands, registration flow, brand registration fees, and examples of IPR brands that have been registered. This community service is expected to help the Puuroda village community to increase awareness of the importance of intellectual property rights in encouraging innovation in the village, so that these innovations can have a maximum impact on society.

Abstract

Oyster mushrooms are an agricultural product that has very promising prospects. The high nutritionalcontent and selling value of oyster mushrooms means that oyster mushroom cultivation needs to beimproved. Knowledge and skills about oyster mushroom cultivation need to be possessed so that thecultivation process can take place and produce optimal profits, especially for beginners. This educationalactivity was carried out to increase knowledge and skills regarding oyster mushroomcultivation for youth groups in Rasau Jaya Tiga, Rasau Jaya, Kubu Raya. The method of implementingthis educational activity is in the form of training with the delivery of theory and practice and evaluationby filling out a questionnaire. This oyster mushroom cultivation educational activity can increaseknowledge and skills for Rajati youth who initially did not know (81.82%) to know (54.55%) and are very knowledgeable (45.45%). This activity is 81.82% very useful and inspirational reaching 90.90%. Rajati youth hope that the results of this activity can be practiced or become an idea for creating a business in oyster mushroom cultivation both personally and in groups.
