Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of Digital Marketing and Social Media Engagement on Repurchase Intention, with Customer Trust acting as a mediating variable among Mie Gacoan Jepara consumers. The background of the research is based on the growing trend of noodle consumption in Indonesia and high social media activity, which creates opportunities for culinary businesses to strengthen customer loyalty. A quantitative survey was conducted with 128 respondents who had purchased Mie Gacoan products at least twice. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares (PLS) with SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results show that Digital Marketing significantly and positively affects Repurchase Intention (β = 0.238; p = 0.016) and Customer Trust (β = 0.406; p = 0.000). Similarly, Social Media Engagement significantly influences both Repurchase Intention (β = 0.309; p = 0.001) and Customer Trust (β = 0.324; p = 0.007). Additionally, Customer Trust has a significant positive impact on Repurchase Intention (β = 0.314; p = 0.000). The analysis of indirect effects indicates that Customer Trust partially mediates the effects of Digital Marketing (t = 2.369; p = 0.018) and Social Media Engagement (t = 1.969; p= 0.049) on Repurchase Intention. In conclusion, Customer Trust plays a vital mediating role in strengthening the relationship between digital marketing strategies and repurchase intention. Therefore, Mie Gacoan should enhance its digital marketing and social media engagement strategies to maintain customer trust and promote repeat purchases.

Abstract

This scoping review article maps how linguistic features influence consumer purchase intention across digital marketing platforms and cultural contexts. Following the PRISMA-SCR framework, it reviewed 19 empirical studies (2015- June 2025) from major academic databases to examine how language features influence consumer behavior in online shopping, live-stream commerce, social media, and e-commerce settings, with cultural perspectives drawn from Japan, Indonesia, China, and other contexts. Key findings indicate that linguistic strategies (tone, style, persuasive appeals, social presence, and cultural congruence) play an important role in enhancing trust, arousal, brand awareness, and purchase intention. The effectiveness of these strategies varies by platform and culture. Conversational language works best in interactive, collectivist contexts, while clarity and authenticity are favored in text-heavy, individualist settings. It also identifies gaps related to platform diversity, cross-cultural comparisons, and theoretical integration, providing a roadmap for future research and culturally responsive marketing strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the comparison of regulations, procedures, and legal protection in the implementation of non-execution auctions in Indonesia and the Philippines through a legal-normative approach. This study uses a normative legal research method with a statute approach and a comparative approach. In Indonesia, non-execution auctions are a state administrative mechanism under the authority of the State Property and Auction Service Office (KPKNL) as regulated in Minister of Finance Regulation No. 122 of 2023, which emphasises formal legal certainty and procedural legality as a means of legal and transparent transfer of rights. Meanwhile, in the Philippines, the extrajudicial foreclosure mechanism regulated in Act No. 3135 jo. Act No. 4118 gives creditors direct authority to execute collateral without a court order, while still guaranteeing the substantive rights of debtors through the principle of equitable redemption and the redemption period. The comparison shows that the Indonesian system is oriented towards administrative efficiency and formal legal certainty, while the Philippines emphasises corrective justice and the protection of civil rights. This difference in orientation illustrates two complementary legal approaches legal certainty according to Gustav Radbruch and corrective justice according to Aristotle which, if integrated, could give rise to an ideal non-execution auction model: economically efficient, substantively fair, and legally accountable. This research is expected to provide a conceptual contribution to the development of a more adaptive and equitable non-execution auction legal system in Indonesia and the Southeast Asian region.

Abstract

This study examines the role of social impact accounting in measuring labor welfare and fair compensation within Sustainable Development Goal (SDG)-based reporting frameworks. The primary objective of the research is to analyze how labor welfare indicators and compensation equity are conceptualized, measured, and integrated into sustainability reporting, with particular emphasis on their alignment with SDG 8 on decent work and inclusive economic growth. Employing a qualitative research design grounded in an extensive literature-based analysis, the study synthesizes peer-reviewed academic research, international institutional reports, and global sustainability reporting standards to identify dominant measurement practices, conceptual patterns, and methodological gaps in existing approaches. The findings reveal that labor welfare and fair compensation have increasingly been recognized as material social indicators in sustainability reporting; however, their measurement remains fragmented and inconsistent across organizations and regions. While current reporting frameworks provide general guidance on labor-related disclosures, they lack standardized metrics capable of capturing complex dimensions such as psychosocial well-being, living wage adequacy, wage equity, and the conditions of non-standard employment. The analysis further demonstrates that firms with more comprehensive labor welfare disclosures tend to exhibit stronger organizational legitimacy, enhanced stakeholder trust, and improved alignment with SDG objectives, yet many disclosures remain symbolic rather than substantive. The study concludes that integrating structured and empirically grounded labor welfare and compensation indicators is essential for strengthening the credibility and comparability of SDG-based reporting. The findings contribute to sustainability accounting literature by emphasizing the need for standardized social impact metrics and provide practical implications for organizations, policymakers, and investors seeking to advance decent work, wage fairness, and inclusive growth within global sustainability agendas.
