With data collection procedures through field research, the author's data collection technique is to conduct observation, interviews, and documentation. In terms of data management and analysis techniques used by the author, namely inductive and deductive methods. The results of the research show that the strategy of street vendors to increase income from a sharia economic law perspective is analyzed from the traders' income as well as in terms of their strategy. Marketing is based on maintaining product quality, setting prices, carrying out promotions, strategic locations, and providing good service. From the perspective of Sharia economic law, seen from street vendors in Atapange Hamlet, some traders commit fraud by reselling the rest of their merchandise, but some act honestly according to Islamic law in terms of the quality of their merchandise.

Abstract

The development of science and technology follows the pace of the development of muamalah activities, especially cash transfer activities via BRILink. The transactions carried out by several BRILink agents gave rise to problems that were outlined in the problem formulation, namely how to determine cash transfer rates for BRILink agents in Pakkanna Village, Tanasitolo District, Wajo Regency, as well as the perspective of Sharia economic law on determining cash transfer rates at BRILink. Therefore, this research aims to determine the mechanism for setting rates and whether the rates set by each agent are under Sharia economic law. This research uses a qualitative research method where data collection is carried out employing observation, visual analysis, and interviews with all BRILink agents in Pakkanna Village, Tanasitolo District, Wajo Regency. Based on the research results, it is known that transactions carried out between BRILink agents and customers use a wage-reward system. The tariff-setting system used by BRILink agents is a system set by the agent himself. According to the research conducted by the author, this wage system contract is legally permissible and valid because it is in line with Sharia economic law.

Abstract

Understanding the socio-economic and cultural impacts of successful language programs on communities is crucial for informed policy decisions. This study aimed to identify the challenges faced by all ASEAN countries and understand the respective policies and programs they are implementing to address these challenges. We conducted a scoping review, reviewing 178 pieces of literature from various databases and websites, based on the identified inclusion criteria. The researchers used profiling and thematic analysis to pinpoint six language-related issues in the ASEAN countries, as well as the implementation of 24 language programs and policies. The study emphasizes the importance of government involvement in language program success, leading to recommendations for a comparative analysis of language education policies, qualitative investigations into stakeholder perspectives, long-term tracking of program outcomes, and in-depth case studies of both successful and unsuccessful programs. Further research should investigate the specific strategies governments employ for successful language program implementation, such as budget allocation, balancing language promotion, and curriculum improvements. Although this study contributes to the broader discourse on language policy, it emphasizes the significance of tailored strategies to address challenges and enhance language education in the ASEAN region.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out and understand to teaching staff that today's education is not relevant to educational goals, so Paulo Freire wants to reconstruct this education. This research is qualitative, using library research data collection methods. Data source: Because this article is a study of the work of a figure, the data used is more library data, so the author collects literature, including books and articles related to the figure to be discussed. In analyzing data, researchers try to find meaning by trying to reveal the implied and explicit meanings. The result of this article is the reconstruction of education carried out by Paulo Freire because education is currently shifting towards the bank system. Today's teaching system is known as a passive learning model, namely, the teacher explains, the students listen, the teacher dictates, the students take notes, the teacher asks, the students answer, and so on. Therefore, Paulo Freire wanted education must provide liberation, learning must be carried out using methods of dialogue, facing problems, raising awareness, and liberating education.

Abstract

This study evaluated how South East Nigerian students' interest in economics correlated with the teaching methods of economics teachers. Descriptive statistics of the correlational type were used in the research methodology; the sample size for the study was chosen using purposive and proportionate sampling techniques; the mean and standard deviation were used to answer the research questions; Pearson product-moment correlation and the one-way ANOVA F-test were used to test the hypotheses. The study's conclusions demonstrated a strong correlation between students' academic interest in economics and the methods used by economics teachers to teach the subject. The study made several recommendations. Based on its findings, educational administrators should designate professionally educated economists with a foundation in economic pedagogies to teach economics; delivering teaching effectively will result from this. Teachers of economics should make an effort to motivate students to study and to introduce the subject using any suitable teaching strategies. In addition, educating and retraining economics instructors inefficient teaching methods for the classroom.

Abstract

A national character-strengthening educational program known as "Islamic Boarding Based School" can foster various intelligences, religious spirituality, and life skills. As a result, curriculum management in Islamic boarding schools affects the caliber of graduates from those institutions. So by implementing good and integrated Islamic boarding school-based school management at MAS As'adiyah Sengkang, it will produce quality graduates. This research aims to: 1) determine how Islamic boarding school-based school management improves the quality, and 2) determine the implications of Islamic boarding school-based school management in improving the quality. A qualitative research design employing a case study methodology was employed in this study. Observation, interviews, and documentation were the methods of data gathering employed. As a consequence of the findings, MAS As'adiyah Sengkang's management is divided into four phases: 1) planning by holding work meetings at the start of the new school year; 2) organizing by providing duties proportionally and professionally; 3) mobilization carried out in the form of performance based on the work program; and 4) supervision in the form of assessments in evaluating performance by school leaders. Abstract

The primary goal of the research is to determine the student's accuracy and fluency in speaking by using the calling method. The researcher gathered the data using a pre-experimental design. There were 54 students in the second grade at High School Muhammadiyah Ternate who made up the research population. We used 25 students as the research sample. The oral examination method was used by the researcher to gather data. The research's data analysis showed that after using the Callan Method to teach the students, their speaking abilities significantly improved. It was demonstrated by the outcome of the statistical analysis of the data analysis, which showed that the t-test value was 3.65 and the t-table value was 2.063, with 3.65 > 2.063, at the level of significance 0.05 with degree of freedom (Df = 24). The first-graders at high school Muhammadiyah Ternate have good speaking skills.

Abstract

Informational Communication and Technology (ICT) falls under the learner-centered strategy and is likely to improve learner interest and achievement. This is in tandem with the Kenyan government’s ICT policy of 2007. The study aimed to assess the extent of ICT integration into geography instruction in Kenya's public secondary schools. The study aimed to determine the institutional factors that influence the integration of ICT into geography teaching, the factors of geography teachers that influence the integration of ICT into geography teaching and learning, and the factors of students that influence the integration of ICT into geography teaching and learning in public secondary schools in Migori County, Kenya. Davis (1989) anchored the study on the technology acceptance model. The study also used a meta-analysis of empirical literature, guided by Ferrer (1998). The study found that institutional, teacher, and student factors impacted the integration of ICT into teaching and learning geography in public secondary schools in Migori County, Kenya. These findings have implications for schools' integration of ICT policy into geography instruction.

Abstract

Overall, this study aims to assess college students' field-dependent metacognitive skills in mathematics problem-solving. We administered the Group Embedded Figures and Mathematical Ability Tests to 35 future educators from a private school in Sukoharjo, Indonesia. Students' questioning of each group served to gauge their proficiency in solving problems, as shown in the results. Participants also demonstrated partially achieved metacognitive abilities, as measured by the (metacognitive) skills criterion, which encompassed tasks such as planning, monitoring, assessing, and predicting. First, the participants documented and explained the facts given in the question. Second, they checked the results against the plan. Third, they evaluated the success of the objectives by analyzing the results to make sure everything went according to plan. Finally, they predicted and stated the results of the problem-solving process. In light of these findings, researchers and teachers facing comparable obstacles would do well to delve deeper into the function of metacognitive abilities in problem-solving.
