<![CDATA[Rumah belajar Ceria (RBC) merupakan salah satu layanan pendidikan yang didirikan oleh orang - orang yang peduli akan pentingnya pendidikan. RBC didirikan pada tahun 2014 atas inisiatif dari 7 (tujuh) orang pemuda. RBC berlokasi di Jl. H. Sarkowi. B, Keramasan, Kec. Kertapati, Kota Palembang, Sumatera Selatan. RBC saat ini memiliki lebih dari 150 peserta didik yang merupakan anak-anak, dimulai dari kelas 1 SD sampai dengan SMP. Kegiatan yang dilakukan berupa kegiatan pembelajaran non formal yang diberikan oleh tutor kepada peserta didik secara berkala seminggu satu kali dengan teknik kooperatif, yaitu mengelompokkan siswa berdasarkan jenjang pendidikannya. Sedangkan media pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh tutor RBC merupakan media konvensional. Hal ini tentunya belum sejalan dengan perkembangan teknologi serta menyebabkan interaksi antara tutor dan peserta didik kurang terbangun. Edutainment merupakan konsep penggabungan pembelajaran dan hiburan. Edutainment mampu dimanfaatkan sebagai media pembelajaran alternatif yang menarik dan menyenangkan. Oleh karena itu, tim pelaksana memberikan penyuluhan serta demo langsung pemanfaatan edutainment dalam proses belajar dan mengajar. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang diperoleh melalui pra test dan post test diperoleh bahwa terdapat peningkatan pemahaman peserta didik setelah melakukan proses belajar dengan media edutainment. Semula hanya 14,28% dari 42 peserta didik yang mampu menjawab 10 soal dengan benar dan 16,67% masih belum bisa menjawab 1 soal pun dengan benar, namun setelah kegiatan sebanyak 23,81% dari 42 peserta didik mampu menjawab 10 soal dengan benar dan tidak ada lagi peserta didik yang tidak dapat menjawab semua soal.]]>

<![CDATA[Farmers as one of the informal sector workers in Indonesia have experienced various health problems. Health problems that often occur are malnutrition, chemical poisoning, intestinal worms, food poisoning, muscle and bone disorders, asthma, respiratory disorders, and even blood diseases. The purpose of this community service is to provide preventive efforts for farmers to maintain physical health in the midst of a pandemic. physical activity education that can be done at home to increase body immunity. This activity consists of counseling related to musculoskeletal complaints and how to prevent them. In addition to the socialization, it also provides education on how to carry out occupational health and safety for farmers. Furthermore, it is hoped that by providing this socialization, farmers are more aware of occupational health and safety during farming. <![CDATA[Cloud-based storage as an online-based alternative by using an internet connection in accessing data, but its application is still minimally used by community empowerment forums, one of which is Posyandu Asoka II Jatiranggon Bekasi which still stores activity data into cadre smartphones so that data loss and damage often occur. even cause human error in reporting Posyandu activities every month. The method used is lectures and participatory action studies as a form of action to find out the real obstacles experienced by the use of technology by posyandu cadres in social life by carrying out the planning stage, the implementation stage of implementing cloud storage, namely Microsoft OneDrive, and the evaluation stage of the extent to which cadres use data storage technology into cloud computing as a solution for posyandu cadres to make new breakthroughs with large, free, and environmentally friendly capacities and minimize unwanted events.]]>

<![CDATA[STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma merupakan lembaga pendidikan ilmu komputer di Kalimantan Timur yang berperan aktif dalam menyiapkan dan pengadaan sumber daya manusia yang handal dan berkualitas. STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma didirikan oleh Yayasan Widya Cipta Dharma pada tahun 1991. STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma mempunyai kewajiban melaksanakan Tridarma Perguruan Tinggi, yaitu Pendidikan, Penelitian, dan Pengabdian pada Masyarakat. Meneruskan ilmu pengetahuan atau transfer of knowledge kepada para mahasiswa merupakan bagian dari Tridarma. dosen harus mampu menyampaikan materi secara konsisten sehingga dapat memenuhi kebutuhan mahasiswa. Pada tahun 2020, untuk mengurangi penyebaran Virus Corona (Corona-19). STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma menindak lanjutin surat edatan pemerintah untuk mengubah bentuk kuliah tatap muka menjadi pembelajaran daring. Dosen diwajibkan untuk dapat mengupload materi pembelajaran di platform khusus yang dibuat untuk pembelajaran online, ada beberapa kendala yang menyebabkan perkuliahan online tidak berjalan dengan baik, salah satunya adalah tidak semua dosen mampu membuat media pembelajaran khususnya membuat video dan menggunakan software untuk proses editing video dengan baik, guna meningkatkan pengetahuan dalam proses pembuatan media pembelajaran, maka dibuatlah pelatihan pembuatan video dengan tujuan membantu dosen dalam membuat materi mengajaran yang dapat diupload di welearn (Wicida E-Learning). Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian terapan yaitu Pretest, Pemberian materi, Praktek, Posttest, dan Pemantauan hasil.]]>

<![CDATA[Dampak di era digital telah memberikan perubahan pada dinamika kehidupan suatu usaha, dan tidak menutup kemungkinan bahwasannya perkembangan usaha saat ini jauh lebih mudah dan cepat. Hal tersebut tak lepas dari peran digital marketing, yang memiliki peran untuk memperkenalkan maupun memasarkan produk dari produsen kepada konsumen melalui penggunaan tekhnologi. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini ialah untuk memberikan pemahaman pada masyarakat tentang manfaat digital marketing yang mampu mendorong dan mendukung pengembangan usaha batik ecoprint. Metode yang digunakan menggunakan dua pendekatan yaitu penyuluhan yang berkaitan dengan strategi pemasaran dan tekhnologi serta praktik penggunaan digital marketing. Dan memperoleh hasil yang mana peserta secara antusias mampu memahami dengan jelas mengenai strategi pemasaran dan tekhnologi, terbentuknya motivasi pada diri peserta yang didukung dengan kemampuan dan keterampilan yang baik serta bertambahnya semangat peserta dalam berwirausaha batik ecoprint dengan menggunakan sarana pemasaran digital marketing. <![CDATA[Problems in metal casting include, among others, air cavity defects caused by use of pour plate and descending channel models which are directly used in sand molds; air or gas from sand mold or aluminum scrap liquid metal cannot escape through cavity between the sand grains during pouring process; river sand is in the form of crystalline sand grains which can affect fire resistance and low permeability in sand molds, consequently requiring large amounts of binder; and water content in river sand for making sand molds is less than 1.5% - 8% as a result, clay will experience a lack of binding power in the sand. Departing from the above problems, it is necessary to pay attention to design stages, especially in e field of casting product design, which currently uses a lot of software that can support businesses, such as Solidworks Computer Aided Design - Computer Aided Manufacturing software and casting simulation software such as Altair Inspire cast. Design of cast objects and simulation in preparation for making molds and core castings using Solidworks and Altair Inspire Cast software aims to obtain accuracy of the cast objects so that they do not require much finishing work and the simulation of casting process is expected to reduce casting failures as described. Essence of implementation of community service programs through (additional) assignment schemes for small industries Mandiri of metal cast in Palembang is how to provide theoretical knowledge of designing cast objects using CAD software and simulate the casting process which is usually used for students of study program D-IV in Mechanical Engineering of Production and Maintenance (TMPP) - State Polytechnic of Sriwijaya. to find out the best design model and casting process so as to minimize casting defects.]]>

<![CDATA[Corona Virus or Covid-19 is still a threat to society. This virus spreads very quickly through droplets or liquid droplets from coughing and sneezing, personal contact such as shaking hands, and touching objects or surfaces with the virus on them, then touching the mouth, nose, or eyes before washing hands. From observations made in the community, people need handwashing tools and automatic hand sanitizer to avoid direct contact with objects' surfaces. Technology in the form of Automatic Hand Sanitizer Using Ultrasonic Sensor and Arduino as hand sanitizer from bacteria without touching the hand sanitizer bottle that can be used and utilized by the public. This tool is implemented in Lodtunduh Village on Gianyar Regency, placed in one of the residents' houses Mr. Wayan Adhe Suwetha. This Automatic Hand Sanitizer technology makes it possible to work without any touch or pressure on objects, which will reduce the spread of viruses from objects that are often used to maximize the application of health protocols for the community, especially for Lodtunduh Gianyar community. The research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative method with data obtained through observation and sampling of the population regarding the impact of using the Automatic Hand Sanitizer technology.]]>

<![CDATA[At this time, the development of ceramic souvenirs is increasing in line with the increasing interest of domestic and foreign tourists, this technology seems to be required to be applied to the tools for supporting the production of ceramics which require more time efficiency in order to create a production process that balances the market. The ceramic mass dryer is the latest solution in the field of production, especially for drying the mass that has just come out of the mold. This dryer has a drying rate of up to 3 times faster than conventional outdoors dryers, but this dryer requires a power source to run it, the PID control contained in the system and the user friendly UI makes it easy for industrial entrepreneurs to facilitate the production. Ceramic mass dryer is a very useful long term solution, very flexible, and can function up to 5 years in the future. The ceramic mass dryer has other features such as automatic or manual mode selection and a timer that affects the drying speed of a ceramic mass object. The ceramic mass dryer is a drying machine for a ceramic object mass that uses a dimmer-controlled heater actuator to regulate the heat in drying process. This tool is an innovation in a ceramic mass object. this tool is also quite easy to run through the LCD UI and buttons on the display.]]>

<![CDATA[Community service activities with SME Omah Kopi Ngemplak Banyuanyar Village were carried out to increase the capacity and quality of production of ground coffee, green coffee beans, and roasted coffee beans. From the observations of the Service Team to partners, there were two problems. The first problem: Omah Kopi Ngemplak produces coffee using the traditional drying method which relies on sunlight. Drying is one of the most important coffee processing processes because it affects the quality of the coffee beans produced. This drying process takes a long time and has the potential to rot in the rainy season so that farmers' performance is hampered and the quality of coffee beans decreases. The second problem is the limited marketing of coffee where farmers only sell coffee to middlemen and stalls, in addition to coffee packaging which is still very simple. Therefore, to overcome these problems in this service program, two activities were carried out, namely the first manufacture, training, and application of the solar dryer dome dryer. The existence of a solar dryer dome is expected to increase the quantity and quality of coffee production. The second is the creation, training, and marketing assistance with web marketplace-based applications and attractive coffee packaging. The application of an attractive marketplace and packaging is expected to help increase the marketing of coffee products.]]>

<![CDATA[Prevention of the spread and increase of Covid 19 in Indonesia requires support from various parties, one of which is from students through the Real Work Lecture (KKN) program. Group 7 KKN DR UINSU distributed masks and free hand soap to residents of Sei Mencharim Village, Kutalimbaru. The distribution of masks and hand soap is based on the lack of awareness of the community in the village in carrying out health protocols when they do activities outside the home. The distribution of masks and hand washing soap will be carried out on August 1, 2021 and August 09, 2021 on village streets, where villagers pass by to travel and to people's homes. The target of this activity is all people who live in Sei Mencharim Village. The method used is the distribution of masks and hand washing soap to all people on the highway and to residents' homes. In addition, socialization was also carried out when masks and hand washing soap were given to residents. The socialization consisted of an explanation on how to wash hands using the correct soap and the time limit for using masks. As a result, this activity was able to provide awareness to the public about the importance of following the existing Covid 19 health protocols and controlling the spread of Covid-19 in Sei Mencharim village in general.]]>
