Abstract

This research is motivated by the presence of students whose learning motivation tends to be low, there are students who tend not to focus when studying and play mobile phones more often, there are students who pay less attention when the teacher teaches in class. The purpose of this study was to describe the learning motivation profile of class VIII students at SMP SIMA Padang seen from: 1) Students' learning motivation was seen from intrinsic motivation. 2) Students' learning motivation was seen from extrinsic motivation. This research was conducted using quantitative descriptive methods. The study population was 141 students who were selected by proportional random sampling technique with 59 participants. The instrument used is a questionnaire. Meanwhile, for data analysis using percentage classification. Based on the results of research on the learning motivation profile of class VIII students at SMP SIMA Padang seen from: 1) Students' learning motivation seen from intrinsic motivation is in the fairly good category 2) Students' learning motivation seen from extrinsic motivation is in the fairly good category. This research is recommended to students in order to increase their learning motivation

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of students who lack an understanding of cultural diversity, there are students who do not understand cultural knowledge, there are students who find it difficult to do counseling with clients of different cultures. The aim of this research is to describe the profile of students' readiness in providing multicultural counseling services. This research was conducted using a quantitative descriptive method. The research population is all active guidance and counseling students who have taken and passed cross-cultural counseling courses in 2016 STKIP PGRI West Sumatra. Based on the results of the research, the profile of student readiness in providing multicultural counseling services can be seen from: Cultural-historical is in the quite ready category with a percentage of 45.61%, psychosocial is in the quite ready category with a percentage of 33.33%, scientific-ideological is in the quite ready category with a percentage of 40.35%. The results of this study can be recommended so that students increase readiness in providing multicultural counseling services

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship between emotional independence and the learning motivation of Mts Muhammadiyah Wuring learners. This research was conducted at Mts Muhammadiyah Wuring. The population of this study was 54 students. A sample of 40 students. The instrument consists of a kuisoner. To find out the validation of this study, researchers used the formula Person Prodact Moment through the SPSS v. 23 for window program. To find out quantitative descriptive correlations use data analysis techniques. After the data is distributed. From the data of the study analysis showed that the value of the correlation coefficient of 0.886 with a positive sign and obtained the value p = 0.000 so that from both variables obtained significant values both at the level of 0.05 and can be seen from the correlation coefficient number. With demikain the value can be compared with rtabel in the study which is at a significant level of 5% for a sample of 40 so that the number 0.3044 is obtained and it is seen that rhitung > rtabel or 0.886 > 0.3044, so that the null hypothesis (H0) is obtained in reject and Hypothesis (H1) is accepted. This means that there is a positive and significant relationship of emotional independence with the learning motivation of MTs. Muhammadiyah Wuring learners.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the students' learning difficulties by grade VI students. The research approach used is qualitative approach. The subject of this research is the students of grade VI State Elementary School 14 Ulakan Tapakis. Key informant in this research is class VI teacher, while the next informant is grade VI student which is taken based on the suggestion of key informant. Data collection techniques used interviews, and documentation, while to test the validity of data used triangulation technique. Based on the result of the research are students' learning difficulties are caused by internal and external factors. The interent factor is a factor from the students themselves; they are cognitive, effective, psychotic. and external factors, namely those that arise from outside the learner's self, such as the family environment, village/community environment. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the difficulty learning factors. The framework of this research is students should be able to concentrate and maintain their learning well. To get the maximum learning result, students should not get difficulties in learning process. For that reason, this study desire to analyze the students’ difficulty learning factors. After analyzing the factors, the solution can be taken to solve all problems. This research used descriptive qualitative method. Qualitative data analysis is used to analyze these qualitative data. Qualitative data serve some information related to the difficulties faced by students, understanding level of a subject (cognitive aspect), teaching learning process, students’ attitude (affective), students’ enthusiasm, and students’ motivation. This research is focused on the students’ difficulties learning factors. The students of 8 diSMP Muhammadiyah Waipare is chosen as respondent. Techniques of data collection are interview, observation, and documentation. Data analysis is followed the qualitative research principle. The result of this research shows that the students of 8 diSMP Muhammadiyah Waipare get difficulties in learning process which influenced by internal and external factors

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine: (1) How the teacher's efforts to improve students' mathematical problem-solving skills by applying the guided discovery method, (2) How to increase the mathematical problem-solving abilities of students in class VII SMP PAB 2 Helvetia T.A. 2021/2022 after the guided discovery method is applied. This type of research is classroom action research. The subjects in this study were seventh grade students of SMP PAB 2 Helvetia T.A. 2021/2022, 1 class from 6 existing classes, namely class VII-6, totaling 15 students. The object of this research is the student's problem-solving ability on the set material by applying the guided discovery method. The research instruments used were tests, observations and documentation. The study consisted of 2 cycles, each consisting of 2 meetings. The increase in problem solving ability can be seen from the level of students' ability to solve problems, namely in the initial problem solving ability test with an average value of 35 (very low), in the first cycle problem solving ability test with an average value of 55.5 (very low), and on the problem-solving ability test in Cycle II with an average score of 80.6 (high). In addition, the ability of researchers to manage lessons has increased from Cycle I to Cycle II, namely from the total initial activities, core activities, and closing in Cycle I of 61.8 and in Cycle II of 86.5 and N-Gain obtained is 0, 5. It can be concluded, that the application of the guided discovery method can improve the mathematical problem solving ability of class VII students of SMP PAB 2 Helvetia because the problem solving ability of students has reached the minimum target of problem solving ability, which is 85% of students who take the test reach a mastery level of at least 70 (TKPM). currently).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is as follows to find out how the development of learning modules on set material using the Project Based Learning model for class VII SMP students. To find out how the feasibility of developing learning modules on set material is by using a project-based learning model for class VII SMP students. This type of research is research and development (Research and Development) which starts from the analysis, design, to the development or production stage. This study used a questionnaire instrument for the feasibility of the mathematics learning module which was compiled using a Likert scale. Data was collected using a module feasibility analysis instrument which includes content quality, coverage accuracy, project-based learning, display, and language. Based on the results of data analysis, the average module value is 3.18 with good criteria and the average percentage of module eligibility reaches 80% with proper criteria, so that the learning module on the set material using the project-based learning model for class VII SMP students can be used. as a mathematics teaching material

Abstract

This study aims to develop teaching materials for univariate linear equations and inequalities with a realistic mathematical approach for junior high school students to assess the effectiveness of the developed teaching materials. The purpose of this study was to determine the process of developing teaching materials in the form of LKPD using a realistic mathematical approach to Class VII SMP students. The material was developed using a 4D development model consisting of definition, design, development and dissemination, and transformed into 3D consisting of definition, design, and development. Abstract

This research was carried out using the Library Research research methodology, with the aim of knowing the results of the Analysis of Creative Problem-Solving Learning Models to Improve Critical Thinking in Students. This research is based on the occurrence of students who do not understand will improve critical thinking. Based on the results of the analysis of the journal, it states that the Creative Problem-Solving learning model can help solve learning problems for students, with the existence of critical/creative thinking solutions students are easy to respond to problems well and get positive things, and it is appropriate for these students to use the model. to be able to solve existing problems. The results of the study stated that Creative Problem Solving to improve students' critical thinking was very good for solving problems for students and there were positive things seen in the studies above. The model has a very important role in the teaching and learning process. With this learning model, students are expected to be helped in solving the problems that exist in these students. So, from the use of creative problem-solving models it is very feasible to use in the teaching and learning process. This model has also been tested for positive things by previous researchers and obtained results that are feasible to be used in the teaching and learning process in order to solve problems.

Abstract

he formulation of the problem in this research are: How is LKPD Development Using Problem Based Learning Model on Flat Shape Material? Is LKPD using problem-based learning model feasible as a learning medium for students? How are students' responses to LKPD using Problem Based Learning model? This study aims to produce LKPD products using a problem-based learning model on valid and feasible flat-shaped materials. This research is a type of development research and uses 4-D (four-D) research procedures which are modified into 3-D (three-D), namely the definition stage, the design stage, and the development stage. The results of this study: 1) researchers have produced LKPD using a problem based learning model on the material of flat shapes, the subject of circumference and area of ??a triangle; 2) the results of the assessment of student worksheets from material experts are 81.5% with a fairly valid level of validity and the assessment of LKPD from media experts is 83.5% with a fairly valid level of validity; 3) obtaining the results of the assessment through a student response questionnaire with an average percentage of 85.96% with a very positive category. From the results of the assessment of material experts, media experts and student responses, the LKPD developed is valid and feasible to be used as a learning medium by students.
