Abstract

The development process is completely initiated by the public community in social activities to make it better is a process of empowerment. Therefore, the target community program is always involved in community empowerment. This is a very urgent process for improving the welfare of the community through improving the economy. One of them can be realized through increasing income activities from Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The MSME empowerment process is implemented through Community Service (PKM) activities providing empirical ideas for real work for the advancement of MSMEs that are more independent. Economic empowerment through MSMEs can create an integrated unity between the role of the campus and the community, especially in RW 07, Padurenan Village, Tangerang City. However, there are problems faced by SMEs including a). Production is only in the manufacture of components or products, b) The lack of competence of SMEs in the application of technology c), Weak competence in the production and management process. Departing from the real problems and conditions, the role of MSMEs for the family economy is to increase the need for support from human resources, capital, media equipment, processes and marketing, and good use of natural resources and human resources. Therefore, the family economy can improve if it is seen in the increase in employment, income, always having assets, and meeting needs. Thus, it can be seen that the impact of the existence of MSMEs needs to provide benefits for the suitability of personal and corporate life. Therefore, MSMEs in RW 07 Padurenan Village, Tangerang City can improve the family's economy by being free from poverty to improve their standard of living

Abstract

SMA Negeri 1 Pamekasan is one of the favorite schools in Pamekasan Regency which was the International Standard School Pioneer (RSBI) in 2009-2014. However, library activities are still carried out completely manually. Visiting library members are not properly recorded, many problems occur during the circulation process, difficulties in searching for books, book collections are not completely recorded and without labeling, they are only stored in excel form. This will hinder the process of reporting and presenting data in statistical form. The solution offered by the Community Service (PKM) team with the 2019 RISTEKDIKTI funding source is to switch to a digital library based on Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology to facilitate visitor recapitulation, book collection searches, circulation processes and bibliography. The digital library is designed with a client server network topology and uses a modified SLIM application so that it can be integrated with the use of RFID cards. The RFID card functions as a library membership card as well as a student card, Teacher and Tu ID card. All library members have used their identity cards to carry out transactions at the library including attendance by sticking the card on the smartcard reader, borrowing and returning reading books

Abstract

The virus that causes COVID-19, SARS-CoV-2 continues to undergo mutations forming new variants. The latest variant that has been detected, namely the Omicron variant known as the B.1.1.529 variant.  The Omicron variant has a high transmission rate of up to 5 times that of the previous variant including the Delta variant. The speed of transmission that occurs in South Africa is still being carried out epidemiological studies to find out whether this is caused by Omicron or other factors. Transmission is easier to occur in individuals who have not received the vaccine and this can also cause complications in their treatment. Nonetheless, some countries are concerned about pressure on health systems due to the increased need for hospitalizations as the rate of transmission of this variant is much higher. Viral replication occurs 70 times faster in the respiratory tract, but 10 times slower when in human lung tissue.  Because one of the efforts that can be done to avoid Covid-19 is to use a vaccine, it can help protect people around from the corona virus. Especially people who are at high risk of severe illness from COVID-19. By seeing these problems, it is necessary to have health counseling in getting to know the new variant of Covid-19 (omicron) and increasing public awareness of how important Covid-19 vaccination is

Abstract

Economic problems are often one of the causes of the increasing divorce rate. With the pandemic and the increasing number of cases of COVID-19 sufferers, both at the national and regional levels, this may also have an impact on the addition of divorce cases, although it is not the main factor due to the pandemic. Before the pandemic, the divorce rate in Bangkalan continued to increase every year. Many factors cause the increasing number of divorce cases. The most important activity is to provide education about marriage preparation both from a health and religious perspective with the hope that everyone who decides to get married will understand more about the responsibilities of the role that will be carried out and the marriage is happy in the hereafter

Abstract

Tana Toraja Regency as one of the national tourist destinations within the administrative area of South Sulawesi Province. Tana Toraja Regency, which has a city in Makale, is located at 3°06'17"S South Latitude and 119°51'07" East Longitude. Tana Toraja Regency has an area of 2,054.30 km² and has a population of 270,489 people. Tana Toraja Regency consists of 19 sub-districts, one of which was chosen to be the location of community service for the Electrical Engineering Study Program, namely: Mappak Lembang Dewata District. The distance between the capital of Tana Toraja Regency and the provincial capital of South Sulawesi reaches 314 km. Electrical installations should be designed and installed on the basis of as required in the PUIL. In addition, the requirements for technical personnel who will install an electrical installation must be certified for competence in accordance with Law No.30 of 2009 concerning electricity. However, there are still often news of accidents caused by electric shocks, both those who died and those who were only limited to electric shocks. Such is the case with the danger of lightning that constantly lurks in other living things. This lightning has the potential to cause lifelong disability until death. For this reason, we from the Abmas Team of the Electrical Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, UAJ Makassar, are here to bridge between ordinary people about the potential dangers of electricity and lightning strikes and preventive efforts that can be done so that they can be avoided from the possibility of avoiding these accidents. The abmas team from the UAJM Electrical Engineering Study Program will help the community to explain how to overcome this which has become an obligation to carry out the duties of the Tri Darma of Higher Education, one of which is Community Service. The real form of community service that will be carried out is to provide counseling to the lembang dewata community about; How should efforts be made to avoid and prevent the occurrence of electrical accidents and lightning strikes that will be conveyed to the general public. This counseling explains the sources of electric shock hazards in a household installation and how to prevent them, along with the potential dangers of lightning strikes and how to avoid them. The material is delivered in the form of visualization of imaginative and communicative models and drawings

Abstract

SMA Santa Maria is a private educational institution in Pekanbaru under supervision of Yayasan Prayoga Riau. Organizational life cycle of SMA Santa Maria commenced when it was founded in 1975. Having achieved many accomplishments since the establishment had brought notable progress. External development and presence of competitors over time became challenges which need immediate response from school management team to improve those accomplishments, thus it was positioned at growth stage. The school management team had discussed it and decided to initiate a seminar and interactive dialogue “Organizational Life Cycle and Strategies for improving Governance at SMA Santa Maria” held on May 14 2022. It began with opening ceremony, presentation, discussion and interactive dialogue.  The discussion formulated some strategies: a) reviewing vision and mission, b) collecting feedback on school performance quality and student satisfaction index on school performance analyzed with Important-Performance Analysis (IPA) method, c) setting priority on investment based on results of IPA method. Finally, school management team needs to conduct implementation control so that SMA Santa Maria is able to maintain organizational cycle at growth stage and avoid the decline stage

Abstract

COVID-19 is a virus that attacks the respiratory system, adversely affecting health accompanied by mild and severe symptoms. Severe symptoms caused. this virus is transmitted through physical contact, wearing items alternately with patients who are positive for COVID-19, not wearing a mask when talking to COVID-19 sufferers, and so on. This virus is a disease that is not predicted to occur in advance. The signs and symptoms of COVID-19 are classified as severe, the occurrence of acute respiratory syndrome, causing pneumonia and the most fatal resulting in death, while the mild symptoms are fever, sneezing, sore throat.  Banyuwangi  Village is a village located in Puloampel District, Banyuwangi area is included in the Serang Regency of Banten Province. During the current COVID-19 pandemic, of course, the community hopes that students can play an active role in breaking the chain of spread of COVID-19. The approach method that we apply in community service is to use the socialization method about the  importance of implementing health protocols

Abstract

One of the efforts to prevent arthritis is to do regular and light exercise to maintain joint flexibility. Regularly doing exercise can reduce joint pain and swelling, relieve stiffness and prevent joint damage. Performing rheumatic exercises is expected to improve the quality of life of the elderly so that the elderly can carry out their daily activities comfortably. The target of the joint gymnastics activity is the people of Kalukbodo Village by using the joint gymnastics mentoring method and interviews. The activity was carried out at the Kalukubodo Village Office on July 1, 2022. The results of the evaluation showed that the residents of Kalukubodo Village still carried out arthritis exercises regularly every week

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused the country's economy to experience a negative trend. This is indicated by the decline in the number of people's income, especially MSMEs and small traders. For economic efforts, the Government is trying to move MSMEs back, among others, through Economic Empowerment for Flat Women, especially in the city of Surabaya. The condominium women empowerment program is based on Surabaya Mayor Regulation No. 55/2016 on the regulation, control, empowerment of women and child protection in the city of Surabaya, which provides various kinds of knowledge and knowledge in exploring self-potential that can be used to increase the income of women in flats. The women of flats are vying to increase their income in the midst of the covid pandemic. The women in the flats do not give up and continue to work, producing something useful and generating selling points for their lives and for others. The movement of their small business is not in line with a good production strategy. Therefore, STIESIA Surabaya Lecturers share their knowledge by providing production strategy and business ethics training, which is expected to provide useful values ??that can be used to develop the business of the women in the flats
