Abrasion that continues to threaten the lives and livelihoods of local communities due to tidal waves causes the coastline in North Galesong Subdistrict to continue to regress. Structural and non-structural mitigation efforts need to be carried out to avoid material losses and casualties, as well as potential disasters that will occur. Starting from reducing abrasion, breaking waves, understanding sedimentation, making disaster paths and evacuation, regulating policies, to local wisdom in the lives of coastal communities, maximum efforts need to be made as a systemic step in reducing disaster threats. Among the steps that can be taken, there is an important role owned by the local wisdom of the community, namely so that the coastal environment can be preserved through a business. Communities located in disaster-prone locations require approaches and mechanisms for them which are carried out with mechanisms that apply in the community on an ongoing basis. Traditions that are in people's lives ranging from taboos, prohibitions, and other taboos in environmental and natural preservation provide considerable meaning and messages

This research aims to explore the impact of the Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) and Interest Rates (IR) on the profitability indicators, specifically Return on Assets (ROA) and Stock Return (SR). The motivation for this investigation arises from observed differences in various research findings and real-world events, prompting a reassessment by researchers. The study adopts a quantitative descriptive approach, employing panel data multiple regression analysis with 20 cross-sectional samples spanning a 6-year time series. The research formula is crafted to optimize Stock Return by including Return on Assets as an intervening variable, focusing particularly on companies within the banking sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Two distinct research models are formulated and integrated into a unified model, subjected to rigorous model selection tests such as Chow Test, Hausman Test, and Lagrange Multiplier Test. The study's results suggest that LDR can only indirectly influence SR through the mediating role of ROA. Furthermore, IR has a direct impact on SR without the mediation of ROA. These findings are expected to offer valuable guidance for banking practitioners in Indonesia and market participants, aiding them in maximizing Stock Returns

The purpose of this study is to determine how international law affects the Israeli-Palestinian conflict during the COVID-19 pandemic. The approach used in this research is literature study, which entails gathering pertinent material from books and journals, evaluating it, and drawing conclusions. Concerns regarding the socio-economic circumstances of Palestinians have been highlighted by the fast-spreading COVID-19 epidemic. Overcoming two issues at once is becoming more and more difficult. Considering the harm done to infrastructure for sanitation, hygiene, and water, the Palestinians’ situation is getting better. The COVID-19 virus is being stopped by impeding the flow of essential supplies into the Palestinian state and causing environmental harm, both of which may affect public health. International humanitarian law is in place to prevent these kinds of tragedies, but the Israeli government and military disobey these laws. From an international law standpoint, this research helps understand how the state of Israel behaved toward Palestine during the COVID-19 epidemic. References to a wide range of national and international periodicals and books were used in the preparation of this research. In addition, it makes use of the most recent news about the subjects covered. The findings of this review of the literature indicate that despite an increase in attacks on Palestinian civilians, the situation between Israel and Palestine has not improved

The purpose of this study is to ascertain how defense science philosophy fits into efforts to strengthen the nation’s fundamental defense capabilities. With the researcher serving as the primary research instrument and a descriptive and explanatory design approach, the research employs a descriptive qualitative methodology. With this method, a literature evaluation of the research that has been done is used to obtain more precise and in-depth information, some of which is gained later on by the researchers. Only by studying the philosophy of defense science using a succinct approach to outline the philosophy of defense science will it be possible to improve national defense capabilities through the application of an in-depth understanding that is critical, systematic, methodological, and fundamental. The emergence of the globalization, science, and technology eras can be advantageous to a nation, but they can also be dangerous for its security and defense. particularly about the state’s necessity to fulfill its national objectives, where security can only be attained via defense. Stated differently, defense is an essential human urge that cannot be suppressed. The fundamental idea behind this acknowledgment is that everyone and every person has a duty and responsibility to take part in defending their nation, which includes working to instill a strong sense of nationalism, patriotism, and fighting spirit in the Indonesian state
