Abstract

Currently, the development of science and technology continues to develop in all fields, such as vehicle construction, building construction, industry, and also the field of materials engineering, especially composites. Composite materials generally consist of two elements, namely fibers as a filler and a binding material for these fibers which is called a matrix. In composites, the main element is fiber, while the binding material uses polymer material which is easy to form and has high binding power. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of straw fiber length oriented at 0° and 90° angles in polyester matrix composites on tensile and bending strength. The influence of straw fiber length provides a value for maximum tensile strength with a value of 28.604 Mpa with a fiber length of 15 mm and an angle of 0°. Meanwhile, the angle direction of 900 has a greater value at a fiber length of 10 mm, amounting to 19.619 MPa. The influence of straw fiber length provides a value for maximum bending strength with a value of 86.29 MPa with a fiber length of 10 mm and an angle of 0°. Meanwhile, the maximum tensile strength value at an angle of 900 with a fiber length of 15 mm is 40.02 MPa

Abstract

Dividend policy is a company's decision regarding whether profits earned will be distributed to investors as dividends or kept as retained earnings to fund future company investments. Factors that influence dividend policy can be internal and external factors of the company. The aim of carrying out this research is to determine the influence of profitability, activity and interest rates on dividend policy in non-cyclical consumer sector companies in Indonesia. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling which was based on criteria, resulting in 26 non-cyclical consumer companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2018-2022 period. The analysis technique used in this research is panel data regression analysis as hypothesis testing with a significance level of 5% (0.05) and uses the help of Eviews 12 software in its processing. Based on the results of data processing, this research shows that profitability has no significant on dividend policy, activity has no significant on dividend policy, and interest rates have a significant negative on dividend policy. The results of this research show that external monetary aspects, namely interest rates, influence dividend policy in the non-cyclical consumer sector more than internal aspects of the company

Abstract

The Diponegoro War is one of the most important events in Indonesian history as it marked the beginning of the increasingly strong Dutch colonization of Indonesia. Various general and specific factors between Prince Diponegoro and the Dutch triggered this conflict. Although this war lasted a very short period of 5 years (1825-1830), it caused enormous losses, namely around 200,000 Javanese people lost their lives, almost a quarter of the island of Java was badly damaged, 8,000 European troops were killed, 7,000 Indonesian troops were killed and the costs of the war incurred by the Dutch reached around 20 million guilders. In Addition, the impact of the Diponegoro War was very significant for the people of Central Java, especially in social, economic, and political terms. This research aims to dig deeper into the history of The Diponegoro War and review various aspects related to this war, including the background, tactics, and strategies of the war, as well as the impact of the war on politics, social and economy on the people of Jawa and Indonesian. This research uses a historical approach that focuses on past events. Although the Dutch won the Diponegoro War, it marked the beginning of Indonesia's independence struggle against Dutch colonialism. It showed that the Indonesian people had the spirit and determination to gain independence from foreign colonialism

Abstract

The study delves into the differences in stock price, trading volume activity, and security return variability of stock splits policy, which is a corporate action where companies increase the number of outstanding shares while reducing their nominal value. This quantitative study analyzed 66 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange that underwent a stock split between 2017-2022. This research employs the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test through SPSS 28 to explore the transformation in stock prices, trading volume activity, and security return variability before and after stock splits. The study presents significant findings: (1) there are noticeable differences in stock prices before and after stock splits, (2) trading volume shows variations before and after the corporate event, and (3) there are notable disparities in security return variability before and after stock splits. This study provides valuable insights for investors, analysts, and corporate strategists by examining the complex dynamics of stock splits and their impact on stock prices, trading activity, and security returns

Abstract

National defense is all efforts to defend state sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the safety of the entire nation from threats and disturbances to the integrity of the nation and state. The problems of national defense, which are increasingly varied in the development of the threat spectrum, certainly require reliable human resources for implementing or making national defense policies. Indonesia with a large population certainly has great potential in the procurement of defense resources. However, if the quality cannot keep up with current threat dynamics and technology then the number is meaningless. The purpose of this research is to find out how to increase the role of Indonesian defense human resources to deal with threats that occur to realize national security. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive analysis method with data collection techniques through literature and library studies. The results of this study are that the government’s role is very important in increasing the superiority of defense human resources. Such as providing training, education, providing motivation, and synergizing with institutions and parties related to the defense industry to improve HR capabilities in dealing with technological advances

Abstract

Simply put, money laundering is the criminal act of transforming the proceeds of crimes, or what is known as "dirty money," such as money obtained through smuggling, gambling, tax evasion, drug sales, or corruption, into a form that seems safe and legal for use. Both a conceptual and legislative approach are used in this normative research. Legal approach by examining Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning Amendments to Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Corruption Crimes and Law Number 8 of 2010 concerning Eradication of Money Laundering Crimes. The practice of seizing property used in illicit conduct with the goal of returning it is known as asset confiscation. The meaning of the term confiscation is connected to confiscation which is commonly used in the asset confiscation system for the purpose of returning asset recovery as used in UNCAC 2003

Abstract

This study aims to understand: (1) forms of speech delay (2) internal and external factors that affect speech delay, (3) indicators that affect child development (4) procedures for handling speech delay. In order to be able to reveal the phenomena that occur in the community, researchers used the Multisite Study research design where data collection in this study used descriptive qualitative methods with interview, observation and documentation techniques. The researchers conducted interviews with subject parents/teachers in class. Observations researchers do by observing the subject while in the school environment and also at home. Meanwhile, in order for the findings that the researchers carried out to be declared valid, the validity of the data used (1) observation persistence, (2) triangulation, and (3) reference adequacy. The results of the study show that children who experience speech delay or are late in speaking are more dominant due to wrong parenting and a lack of educational/parenting knowledge for parents starting from pregnancy until the child is born. Excessive giving of gadgets makes children less able to carry out 2-way interactions so that it affects children's language development which causes children's communication and behavior to deviate

Abstract

The Islamic capital market is one of the Islamic financial instruments, the development of the Islamic capital market is quite good in Indonesia, but investors from nazir waqf have not been very active in investing in the Islamic capital market. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the variables knowledge, motivation, and minimum capital on investment on the Nazhir Decision variable in developing waqf assets in the Islamic capital market. The research object is Islamic capital market while the population is Islamic capital market Nazir, the sampling technique uses random sampling technique of 140 respondents. Collective data used a questionnaire using a Linkert scale with a scale of 1 to 5. The data analysis technique used a structural equation model (SEM) with SmartPLS software. The results of the study prove that the independent variable Islamic knowledge has a significant effect on the decision to invest in the Islamic capital market. The minimum capital deposit has a significant and positive influence on Nazir's decision to invest in the Islamic and variable capital markets. The motivational variable has no significant effect on Nazir's decision to invest in the Islamic capital market
