Abstract

A campus construction requires wide land space. It indirectly attracts people from out of town to settle around campus area for various advantageous reasons. These settlers create a variety of demands which directly and indirectly bring impacts on the increase in land demands. This causes an assumption that the land value around campus area is higher that of outside campus area. Jalan Williem Iskandar Medan is one of the streets which area can be classified into campus areas. The objective of the study was to analyze the influence of factors such as surface area, land distance from the closest campus, land form, width and contour on the land value around campus on Jalan Williem Iskandar Medan. The study applied multiple regression analysis using questionnaire data. The samples were determined by using Unrestricted Random Sampling Method which drew the samples directly from the population. This study used 86 samples distributed in the population area covering 2 (two) locations i.e. Komplek Citra Land Bagya City and Komplek Mutiara Palace Residence. It focused on the identification of the influence of factors such as surface area, land distance from the closest campus, land form, width and contour on the land value in housing complexes particularly in Komplek Citra Land Bagya City and Komplek Mutiara Palace Residence located in the campus area on Jalan Williem Iskandar Medan. The results showed that on alpha 5%, the variables such as surface area, land distance from the closest campus, land width, form and contour had positive and significant influence on the land value. Based on these results, it could be concluded that independent variables such as surface area, land distance from the closest campus, land form, width and contour simultaneously were able to describe the changes on the dependent variables such as land value, and they had significant influence on land value.

Abstract

This research is a development research that aims to produce learning innovations in the psychomotor domain for practice in archival subjects. The research design adapts the Borg and Gall model which consists of eight stages, namely, (1) potential and problems, (2) data collection, (3) product design, (4) design validation, (5) design revision, (6) products testing, (7) product revision, (8) mass production. This research was conducted at the Office Administration Vocational School in Malang City. Data collection is done through filling out a questionnaire to determine the feasibility of the product being developed. The result of this research and development is a learning media called STELAR which is feasible and valid to be applied in the learning process, especially in the Office Administration Department. This is based on the results of the validation of material experts and media experts who obtained an average score of 93.53%, while from the test on students the results obtained 90%. Therefore, STELAR learning media can be used as an alternative learning media for practice in the Office Administration Department.

Abstract

The learning process will not be effective and interesting if the teacher only talks about things that happened. For that we need a media that can be manipulated, can be seen, can be heard and can be read by students. One of them is comic media. This study aims to describe learning using Digimco Media (Digital Math Comic) which can improve the mathematical understanding of class X students. This research procedure refers to the classroom action research model by Kurt Lewin which consists of problem identification, planning, implementation and observation, and reflection. The instrument used consisted of the results of working on worksheets, quizzes, final tests, teacher activity observation sheets, and student activity observation sheets. The results showed that learning with the Digimco Media could improve students' mathematical understanding. This is shown from the results of observations of teacher and student activities in the good category. In addition, the results of quizzes and final tests are also a determinant of success in this study. The quiz results in the first cycle classically reached 73.91% and the final test in the first cycle reached 65.21%. While in the second cycle the classical quiz results reached 85% and the second cycle final test reached 80%. This means that the research carried out is said to be successful in accordance with the established success criteria.

Based on the result of an analysis through questionnaire found that there are 6 kinds of learning style, they are;3 students are in visual learning style, 7 students are kinesthetic learning style, 8 students are visual-auditory learning style, I student is auditory-kinesthetic learning style, 10 students are invisual-kinesthetic learning style, and 8 students are in visual-auditory-kinesthetic learning style. Meanwhile, from the data gained through documentation as the test form indicates that the group of students with three visual-auditory-kinesthetic learning style had a higher total score with a total score of 432 with an average score of 86,4, secondly, a group of students with kinesthetic learning style who got a total score of 431 with an average score of 86,2, and the third was with a total score of 340 with an average score of 85 was a group of students with visual-auditory learning style.
