Abstract

Areas with high population density have the potential to degrade environmental quality. This is because an increase in population leads to a higher amount of waste accumulation. Bogor City is known for its dense population. In 2018, the Galuga Bogor Landfill received 650 tons of waste per day. With the population growing each year, accompanied by an increase in waste generation, there is a need for effective and sustainable waste management efforts. However, several obstacles are often encountered in waste management, such as the lack of understanding among the population. If left unaddressed, this situation can have serious implications for the environment, leading to natural disasters and public health issues. The aim of this research is to predict the amount of waste accumulation in Bogor City, with the hope of assisting the government and the community in enhancing waste management practices.  The research methodology involves the analysis of Causal Loop Diagram (CLD) and Stock Flow Diagram (SFD), which will be simulated using Time Graph and Time Table, and processed through the Powersim Studio 10 Express application. Simulation results indicate that waste accumulation in Bogor City is expected to continue increasing from 2018 to 2025. The difference in waste accumulation between 2018 and 2025 is estimated to be 87,783 tons, with the Bogor City Landfill projected to receive 890 tons of waste per day by 2025.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the implementation of democracy and its development. The term democracy, when viewed from an etymological point of view, comes from the words demos (people) and cratein (to rule). Thus, democracy means government by the people, which in its further development, as we saw in the Declaration of Independence, is "of the people for the people and by the people". In other words, democracy means government from the people, for the people, and by the people. The development of a democratic government system does not only concern the political system but also the economy and global issues from only the political sphere to the sphere of social and economic life. Therefore, the discussion of the concepts of freedom and equality in democracy includes the concept of how democracy can be developed and practically can be realized. Although the democratic government system contains elements of strengths and weaknesses, it also contains weaknesses caused by, 1) In a democratic system where the majority wins, a compromise between several views is often sought. The weakness is that a compromise is difficult to find so the government is hampered in carrying out its duties; 2) It may occur that the resulting decision is not the best one, it may only be reached by an intermediate decision (mediocre); 3) Political figures can become thirsty for power and personal gain. This means they seek individual interests or group interests and the interests of the people are neglected; 4) In this democratic system each group (party) seeks as many supporters as possible to be able to influence government decisions. There can be fraud and intimidation to play a role in election campaigns. Even though there are weaknesses in the democratic system of government, this system must be rated as the best at this time. This is because, in a democratic system, the will of the people is obeyed as much as possible.

Abstract

The role of medication in healthcare services is crucial, but inappropriate use can endanger human health. Prescription drugs, including controlled substances, narcotics, and psychotropics, can only be dispensed by pharmacists based on a doctor's prescription at pharmaceutical service facilities in accordance with legal regulations to prevent misuse or abuse, which pose high health risks and can even be fatal. While the development of telepharmacy provides convenience for consumers in obtaining medications, it also introduces risks when prescription drugs are obtained without a doctor's prescription. This study aims to analyze the legal responsibilities of telepharmacy in the sale of prescription drugs and to understand the role of pharmacists in maintaining pharmaceutical standards within telepharmacy. Method: literature review sourced from Google Scholar. The Legal responsibility in Indonesian telepharmacy is governed by Government Regulations No. 71/2019 and No. 5/2021, Minister of Health Regulation No. 14/2021, Minister of Health Decree No. HK.01.07/MENKES/4829/2021, and BPOM Regulation No. 8/2020. Telepharmacy involves pharmacists, pharmacies, and electronic system operators, requiring adherence to service standards, data protection, and collaboration with conventional pharmacies. Therefore, regulations governing the pharmacy profession need to be updated to ensure telepharmacy services are safe and compliant with standards

Abstract

Based on the new era, “curriculum ideology and politics” as the mainstream advanced educational concept is the focus of teaching reform in higher education institutions. The rapid development of the food industry has put forward higher requirements for “three comprehensive education”. Modern food testing technology, as a fundamental course in the food industry, includes rich knowledge of detecting food through modern technological means, while the course contents also contain rich ideological and political factors, and occupies an important position in China's food discipline. With moral education as the core, it comprehensively promotes the construction of ideological and political courses and meets the high-quality training of high-quality talents, which is the top priority of teaching reform. This study adopts descriptive, qualitative research methods and mixed approach, collecting data through practical operations, interview techniques, and literature review. This analysis utilized continuous participatory techniques, including stages of observation, practice, interviews, case studies, focus group discussions and literature research, presentation, and drawing conclusions. In view of the current practice and exploration, this article extracts the commonalities between science and engineering courses and ideological and political education for integration to break the singularity of teaching practice. At the same time, it constructs a “three in one” collaborative education mechanism to enhance the organic integration of ideological and political education and curriculum teaching, in order to achieve the goal of inheriting the past and opening up the future. By introducing the significance and construction strategies of ideological and political education in the course of Modern Food Testing Technology, this article aims to provide suggestions and references for the reform of ideological and political education in relevant courses in universities.

Abstract

The practice of power over male actors' bodies in comedy films is understood not as a neutral process where factual reality is conveyed directly through text or images, but as a social praxis related to the deconstruction of gender, resulting in new understandings of masculinity depicted in films from the Reform Era. To address this question, the researcher employs Norman Fairclough's critical discourse approach to comedy films as the main theoretical framework, combined with Michel Foucault's perspective on power relations and Maurice Merleau-Ponty's theory of body language. The paradigm used in this research is the critical paradigm, with data collection techniques obtained through film text documentation studies. The research results show that the male actor's body does not merely function as a tool for visual narration but also as a powerful medium for expressing deeper themes related to power, identity, and social dynamics. For instance, in the film Arisan! 2, the narrative highlights sexual freedom and emotional vulnerability. Meanwhile, Bebas emphasizes physical changes and social symbolism through the male body.

Hospitals by nature are embarking on social mission to improve the quality of health of people, although from the survivability of hospital the commercial aspects need be included in the equation. Hospital like other business institutions have adopted business strategy process into their organization in order to ensure their survivability and to some organization to comply to regulatory requirements. Approach such as Balanced Scorecard and service quality are very common in organizations including in Hospitals. The purpose of this qualitative research will look at how the healthcare service providers perceive the importance of service quality to be adopted into their balanced scorecard strategy. Insights from Interviews with the healthcare providers indicates that healthcare providers are focusing service quality as part of their balanced scorecard. This insight ensures that while healthcare providers fights for their survival in the mid of rising healthcare cost, demand of better and fair care service quality dimension is still at the core of their strategy.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the implementation of the meaning of the phrase "in certain circumstances and the degree of truth that is considered sufficient according to the head of the Land Office" as written in Article 37 paragraph (2) of Government Regulation No. 24 of 1997 on Land Registration. The study was conducted on the island of Madura with the method of socio-legal research, which examines the perception and legal behavior of the community as well as their interaction with prevailing norms. Primary Data were obtained through interviews with the public and Land Office officials in four districts in Madura: Bangkalan, Sampang, Pamekasan, and Sumenep. Secondary Data were obtained from the study of documentation of legislation and Related Literature. The results showed that the implementation of the meaning of the phrase" in certain circumstances and the degree of truth that is considered sufficient according to the head of the Land Office " often led to different interpretations in the field. This has the potential to be abused by certain individuals who can damage the integrity of the land registration process. In addition, the lack of public understanding of land registration procedures led to many lands not being officially registered, creating legal problems in the future. This study suggests that the government clarify the criteria in the relevant regulations to avoid multi-interpretation and increase socialization to the public about the importance of land registration by legislation, in order to provide legal certainty and protect land rights.
