Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas strategi yang diterapkan oleh Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (BAZNAS) Wonosobo dalam pendistribusian dana zakat. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah mekanisme pelaporan dana zakat, proses audit eksternal, serta cara memastikan bahwa dana zakat tersalurkan secara tepat sasaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah magang, di mana peneliti mengamati langsung praktik pengelolaan zakat di BAZNAS Wonosobo serta melakukan wawancara dengan pihak terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa laporan keuangan zakat disampaikan kepada Pemerintah Daerah (Pemda) dan BAZNAS Provinsi sebagai bentuk akuntabilitas. Selain itu, audit eksternal oleh Kantor Akuntan Publik (KAP) memastikan transparansi pengelolaan dana zakat. Dalam menentukan ketepatan sasaran, BAZNAS menggunakan prinsip 8 asnaf mustahik dan 3A (Aman Syar’i, Aman Regulasi, Aman NKRI). Dengan pendekatan ini, dana zakat tidak hanya didistribusikan secara konsumtif, tetapi juga diarahkan untuk pemberdayaan ekonomi mustahik agar lebih mandiri. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang pentingnya sistem pengelolaan zakat yang profesional dan transparan dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between knowledge of Islamic charitable teachings and the intention to donate among Muslims in Jakarta, utilising the Theory of Planned Behaviour. Survey data from 100 Muslim respondents reveal that knowledge of zakat, sadaqah, and related practices strongly correlates with the intention to give, while socio-demographic factors such as income, gender, and education show no significant associations. Employing Ordinary Least Squares regression, the analysis highlights the importance of religious education and informal Islamic education, such as Majelis Taklim study circles, in promoting charitable behaviour. These findings suggest that enhancing dissemination of Islamic charitable knowledge may encourage greater philanthropic participation within Muslim communities in Jakarta. The study provides new insight into the motivational role of religious knowledge in charitable giving, contrasting with conventional focus on socio-economic variables. Recommendations include expanding sample size and exploring wider socio-cultural influences on donation behaviour.   Kata kunci: Behavior, Knowledge, Islamic Charity   Studi ini mengkaji hubungan antara pengetahuan tentang ajaran amal Islam dan niat berdonasi di kalangan Muslim di Jakarta, dengan menggunakan Teori Perilaku Terencana. Data survei dari 100 responden Muslim menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan tentang zakat, sedekah, dan praktik terkait berkorelasi kuat dengan niat berdonasi, sementara faktor sosiodemografi seperti pendapatan, gender, dan pendidikan tidak menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan. Dengan menggunakan regresi Ordinary Least Squares, analisis ini menyoroti pentingnya pendidikan agama dan pendidikan Islam informal, seperti majelis taklim, dalam mendorong perilaku beramal. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan penyebaran pengetahuan amal Islam dapat mendorong partisipasi filantropi yang lebih besar dalam komunitas Muslim di Jakarta. Studi ini memberikan wawasan baru tentang peran motivasional pengetahuan agama dalam beramal, yang berbeda dengan fokus konvensional pada variabel sosial-ekonomi. Rekomendasi yang diberikan meliputi perluasan ukuran sampel dan eksplorasi pengaruh sosial-budaya yang lebih luas terhadap perilaku berdonasi.   Kata kunci: Perilaku, Pengetahuan, Amal Islam

Abstract

The Zakat Collection Institution (LAZ) has very vital role in effort management of zakat, infak and alms (ZIS) funds collected from community. The funds No only distributed For interest social religion and empowerment economy people, but also used in a way strategic in context countermeasures disaster. One of the form real LAZ's contribution is his involvement in give help humanity to affected communities disaster nature, such as earthquake earth, flood, eruption mountain fiery, until land landslide. LAZ Al Azhar Grand Mosque is one of the active institution in activity responsive disaster said. Through network volunteers and its humanitarian programs, LAZ Al Azhar has play a role in distribution logistics, services health, provision need principal, and support recovery psycho-social for the disaster victims. This article aiming For review in a way in depth the strategies implemented by LAZ Al Azhar Grand Mosque in optimize the distribution process help. Some aspects discussed covers efficiency operational, speed distribution, accuracy targets, and effectiveness of the program in term short and also long. In addition, the article this also highlights challenges that often arise in implementation activities in the field, such as constraint logistics, limitations power volunteers, and the lack of coordination inter-agency. Abstract

Da'wah plays a crucial role for the Muslim community. It is not limited to delivering religious sermons, but can also take the form of efforts to liberate people from poverty through philanthropic da'wah, which functions to build the economic growth of the ummah across various sectors by utilizing Zakat, Infaq, Sadaqah, and Waqf (ZISWAF). The purpose of this study is to explain how the philanthropic da'wah movement is realized through Dompet Dhuafa's programs, particularly in its efforts to reach and empower impoverished communities. The research method used is qualitative with a library research approach. The data sources for this study are secondary sources, including information from the Dompet Dhuafa website, internal documents such as annual reports, as well as relevant books and academic journals. The findings reveal that Dompet Dhuafa has undergone a significant transformation into a professional, empowerment-based institution. Its programs go beyond direct aid and are oriented toward fostering community self-reliance. Thus, the philanthropic da'wah movement through ZISWAF institutions proves to be an effective strategy for poverty alleviation and the realization of social justice.   Keywords: Philanthropic Da'wah; ZISWAF; Dompet Dhuafa; and Poverty

Abstract

This study analyzes the mechanism and supervision system of zakat distribution by the National Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) of Sumbawa Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province, in an effort to alleviate poverty during the 2022-2023 period. The results of the study indicate that BAZNAS Sumbawa Regency has collected zakat, infaq, and shadaqah (ZIS) funds of IDR 4.5 billion in 2023, which are distributed through five leading programs: Sumbawa Peduli, Sumbawa Sejahtera, Sumbawa Cerdas, Sumbawa Sehat, and Sumbawa Taqwa. Although there was a significant increase in fundraising compared to the previous report which recorded IDR 2.8 billion, the study identified several challenges in terms of community outreach, limited human resources, and optimization of distribution to the eight asnaf who are the targets of zakat. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design to analyze the mechanism and supervision of zakat distribution at BAZNAS Sumbawa Regency. This qualitative approach is based on the need to gain an in-depth understanding of the complexity of the zakat management process involving various social, economic, and institutional dimensions.   Keywords: BAZNAS, Poverty, Supervision, Zakat.

Abstract

Indonesia, as the country with the second-largest Muslim population in the world, has enormous zakat potential. However, the actual collection remains significantly low, reaching only 33 trillion out of a potential 327 trillion rupiah in 2023. One contributing factor is the lack of public trust due to several misuse cases of zakat funds. This study analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of LAZ Rumah Zakat using the Allocation to Collection Ratio (ACR) and International Standard of Zakat Management (ISZM). Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were gathered from the institution's financial reports from 2019 to 2023 as well as interviews and observations. Findings indicate that Rumah Zakat’s average ACR is 82%, which categorizes it as effective, and ISZM results confirm operational efficiency. Abstract

Professional zakat is a form of zakat mal (zakat al-mal) that is obligatory on income from a specific profession or job. Despite its significant potential for supporting economic equality among small traders, the implementation of professional zakat among small traders remains suboptimal. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach, collecting data through observation, in-depth interviews, and questionnaires with 30 traders as the primary respondents. The results showed that most traders have minimal understanding of professional zakat, the nisab (minimum threshold), and its calculation procedures. Common practices include spontaneous donations and alms, rather than professional zakat according to sharia regulations. Low zakat literacy, income fluctuations, lack of financial records, and minimal outreach from zakat institutions are the dominant contributing factors. Abstract

This study aims to explore various zakat management models that have the potential to empower the economic well-being of mustahiq (zakat recipients). Utilizing a theoretical literature review method, the research evaluates the effectiveness of centralized and decentralized zakat management models in facilitating economic empowerment. The findings suggest that productive zakat management can enhance the welfare of mustahiq through entrepreneurial empowerment and economic capacity building. These results are expected to assist zakat institutions in maximizing zakat's role as a sustainable economic empowerment instrument.  Keywords: Zakat; Economic empowerment; Zakat management models.

Abstract

Pancasila, as the foundation and ideology of the state, must be implemented in state, society, and religion. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Pancasila values in state, society, and religion. This study uses qualitative methods. Through this method, the researcher will collect data through interviews and documents. Subsequently, the data will be processed and analyzed. The results explain that Pancasila guides state, society, and religion. Pancasila serves as a middle ground in state, society, and religion. In practice, within state, society, and religion, there are some aspects that align with and contradict Pancasila.  Keywords: Pancasila, State, Religion, Society
